APPEARANCE

Yoshino has a very normal appearance, if that makes sense. Her hair is colored with a smooth dirty blonde hue to it and her eyes create a large contrast with it's clear and blue color, very reminiscent of gemstones in how they stand out compared to both her hair and the rest of the colors she wears, often matching her personality with how innocent and colorful they appear to be. Another thing that stands out about her appearance is how she styles her hair. With the help of two red ribbons, she ties her hair up into a pair of small twintails and attaches a hairclip in the shape of a star on each one, making her stand out a bit more along with her colors. The hairbands themselves are long and rather wide, so she makes sure to tie them in down tighter in a double-twist each time she fixes her hair. As for clothing, she tends to wear a lot of warm colors, such as brown, orange and red along with the occasional darker hue to make them stand out more. Her normal outfit, which is her favorite one, is one she owns several copies off, simply because of preference. It's an oversized brown sweater which she wears along with an undershirt and a grey skirt, as well as a pink ribbon that she ties to the shirt below and hangs out over the collar of her jumper.

POWERS & ABILITIES
The Warrior of Light
Yoshino was born with a strong soul that was blessed with the ability to use a rare and powerful element to battle the dark forces around her, that being the element of light. Having realized it in a bizarre dream, Yoshino is one of few who was gifted with both the talent to conjure up light with her own aura and the title "Warrior of Light", at least, that's what she likes telling herself. Overall, these powers have two side-effects to them which are present every time she uses her abilities. The first thing is both it's strength and weakness against the element of darkness, the kind which is most commonly associated with acts of evil and demonic beings. She can both be strong and weak against it at the same time, the two powers being able to overtake each other based on either quality or strength. The second is the aura she sends out whenever she uses one of her abilities. It's very a gentle and subtle wave that washes over the souls of those around her, nothing that can distract, but simply an aura that's radiated from her body. While these abilities sound extremely powerful, one must remember that instead of laser beams and the speed of light, we got bubbles and surfing across the ground. Wait, what?

The Element of Light — Bubble Shooter
Yoshino's main form of attacking are by shooting condensed spheres of light towards her enemy with something she decided to name "light bubbles". By focusing her energy into the palm of her hand, the girl forms a sphere of light in just a short second and possesses two ways to use this ability to her advantage. She can either smash it into her opponent, causing it to explode and send her enemies flying back with the force of a very powerful punch, or she can fire it towards them in the same way a cannon fires it's ammo towards a target, as the same exploding effect and force is applied to whatever target she hits with it. As stated, the force of this attack is best compared to a strong punch or kick from a well-trained human body and simply causes blunt trauma to her targets, as opposed to something explosive and lethal. The feeling of the spheres are best compared to warm rubber. It's not burning, but just warmer in general, and the texture is very smooth.

The limitations to this attack are how many spheres she can create, which is two at a time, that being one in each palm. Once she fires one of them, she can create another just as fast, each sphere taking just a second to make. The size of each sphere is a bit larger than an average baseball, but there is one exception to this ability, and it's a large sphere in the form of a bubble. It's not dense, powerful or able to be shot at her opponents. It's simply large and soft and the only use of it that Yoshino has found is being able to take long and relaxing naps on it. The temperature of the large bubble is just below average human bodyheat and the size of the bubble is just as big as her own body, even bigger as she's able to sleep on top of it. The bubble itself doesn't really give anything in the form of protection or combat, the only special thing about it being how it can float around in mid-air and adapt to the weight on top of it like a bubble. Too much force and the bubble breaks, which is why someone has to rest on it carefully in order to enjoy their comfortable nap. The bubble can also support the weight of another being, as long as they're just as careful as Yoshino is whenever she sits or sleeps on top of it. We may as well call this the ultimate napping ability.

The Element of Light — Angel's Feet
Angel's Feet is just what one would imagine when someone reads a title with that name. Simply put, Yoshino sprouts two wings from each of her ankles with a bright and white light, very reminiscent of an angel's wings. With these wings formed, her body is forced up from the ground at about 20-30 centimeters and grants her the levitation and movement related abilities. While they don't grant much protection, it's the speed and maneuverability they add that make them the most important aspect in how Yoshino fights. While focusing on it, they levitate her body up into the air, making her hover above whatever surface she's on and allowing her to strafe left or right or push forward, all depending on how she controls it with her body-weight, something she's grown accustomed to.

Yoshino can surf over all surfaces that are considered solid, such as concrete and dirt and any form of water that isn't considered harmful. Things she can't surf over are lava, magma, or anything liquid that contains harmful energy in it. This is because the heat and power disrupts her gravitational push and causes her to go out of control, meaning that any attempts of this would find the girl crashing within seconds of actually trying it. While moving forward, only doing lighter turns, the girl can reach up to 70 mph. Whenever she maneuvers with sharp turns and slides, Yoshino can reach to about half of that.

Along with her ability to fire spheres and the ability to dash across the ground, Yoshino possesses a third ability which is to create a weapon for her to fight with in the form of a very long baseball bat. An odd choice for someone with the power of light but very fitting for someone like Yoshino, as it lacks an edge to cut with, relying more on blunt force in order to pin an enemy down or at least keep the damage she'll cause to a minimum. The size of the bat is what you would expect from a baseball bat with a white and metallic design. The material on the grip is made of golden cloth which allows for the user to maintain a firm grip during combat and the actual weight of the thing is less than what you'd expect, as it appears to be just the right size for Yoshino to wield it with relative ease, both with one hand and two hands, as she favors using it along with her flying capabilities. The way the bat is summoned is through a bright light that forms out from her hand and creating it out of thin air, staying out until it's either destroyed or recalled by the girl herself.

PERSONALITY
Tomosato Yoshino is a very strange person to describe, having a lot of things about her one considers to be extremely bizarre that it's hard to get it down in just a few simple words. An easy description would be to take the innocent and kind nature of a teenage girl, growing up in a normal environment with little to no issues and then hook her up to a nuclear reactor fueled by sugar. An unpredictable but still very fun and nice person to be around. Thanks to this, Yoshino is rather open and much more inclined to do things to someone that you wouldn't be expecting from a stranger. All from instant nicknames to giving them a hug or a very awkward pat on the head. She's extremely forward whenever she talks to someone, often for better or worse, with a mindset that's open and accepting. She enjoys talking to people and meeting new friends, having a very curious mindset about both who they are and what kind of person they are.

Aside from being strange and open, Yoshino possesses two other traits which makes her a perfect person to utilize the powers of light. She's has a very pure and kind mindset, almost down to being a pacifist in how she battles. Instead of fighting to break or crush something, she fights on the incentive to protect, be it herself or a being around her. During these moments, she tries her best to shield whoever she needs to guard from an accident or pin down the assailant in the cases where it's caused by another being aiming to attack. She doesn't want to see people hurt, nor hurt someone to begin with. While that sounds admirable, there are two exceptions to this rule, the first one being if it's related to a monster or an inanimate object seeking to harm and the second one being where her anger takes over, which is not a pretty sight.

In terms of what she likes, Yoshino has a small fascination for cooking and making her own sweets. She's not the best at it and she's bound to mess up from time to time, but she still enjoys it and finds it to be very relaxing once she actually succeeds in what she does. Other than that, she pertains the same interests as any young girl around her age would, such as reading, watching shows, listening to movies or playing a game or two. Yoshino can enjoy most things in life as long as they can grab her attention and is liable to join her friends in anything they might suggest to her, either a visit to a theme park or to the local hot springs. As for things Yoshino dislikes and fears, you'll find a few dozen underwhelming facts about her. She dislikes seeing harm made to others, being her main source of inspiration whenever she feels like helping someone. But aside from that, she dislikes bitter flavors for food and snacks and she dislikes insects in general. And while she doesn't fear much, Yoshino finds herself unable to be in a dark room for long, often latching onto someone in fear or using a nightlight whenever she goes to bed.

HISTORY
Yoshino grew up in the southern parts of the country and had a fairly normal upbringing. She had a brother, mother and father and grew up with them in the suburbs of a larger city. She went to school. She had a hobby in the form of a minor job at a local candy store. She enjoyed spending time with her brother and stalking him to the ends of the earth. She learned the essence of her powers and summoned a baseball bat out of nowhere in order to smash a beehive down. The usual stuff. Wait, no, not that last part. That's not usual. Something that sounded so natural explain is something no other girl her age could do. Yoshino could create a bat out of thin air, something she learned by focusing her inner warmth out of her hand. It felt like a natural thing to do, as if her mind urged her to do it.

As her hand squeezed down on the handle, her mind came to a blank. She didn't exactly remember what she did afterward using her weapon for the first time, but the bee stings and band-aids on her body told her all she needed to know. Instead, as she blanked out, a strange voice called out to her. It had a gentle tone, kind and caring, which seemed to call out her name with nothing but a bright light and a feeling that coursed through her body. It felt as if she was given information about herself without a single word being spoken to her. It's the same kind of feeling you get when you're hungry, when you've twisted your ankle or that sudden moment of clarity at 3AM where your body tells you that it's had enough.

Simply put, an unexplained feeling which told her nothing and everything at the same time. Yoshino had a powerful soul filled with light, a warm feeling which she had kept dormant inside body during the years she grew up. She knew it was there, but she always imagined it to be how everyone feels. People are warm inside. Yoshino is no exception. It's just the kind of warmth which separates Yoshino from everyone else. And during a time where she needed it an extra boost, the weapon emerged from her body. She needed the extra reach to bring the beehive down. A bat is long enough to reach if you couple it with the girl standing on her toes and stretching herself as far as she could.

This is also how Yoshino discovered her two other abilities which emerged during the years that followed. One time she found herself late for school, imagining how easy it would be to get there if only she could fly. Her feet sprouted a pair of wings on each ankle and the girl sped up towards the building in mind, a scene that may or may not have ended with a crash and the roar of a teacher with a pair of broken glasses. Another time involved the girl mimicking poses she had seen on TV, her legs spreading up as her arms assumed a flashy pose, stretching her right arm up to her left with her palm open with an excited shout escaping her lips. Without realizing it, she had forced the warm light from her body out of her right hand, sending a sphere of light crashing out the window and a young girl hiding underneath her bed in shame.

While her powers were welcomed by Yoshino herself, her parents and her brother thought about the property damage the girl had made from the lack of control she had. While she had good intentions, using her powers to help or by accident, the bills and the collected groans of the neighborhood told the family the opposite. As such, once Yoshino reached the proper age, they sent her off to a school which specialized in the subject of supernatural abilities. Hyakuji High was the suggestion they read about the most, as as such, Yoshino enrolled at the school the very next year, coincidentally at the start of her first year in high school.
