After day turned to night, it seemed that the already 'baffling' cityscape became even stranger, as the city seemed to glow with artificial light. Isabelle was a bit bewildered, yet rather amazed at the scene. It seemed there was rather little fear of her, despite the fact she was somewhat translucent, and was manipulating an adult-size puppet, Lost Angel, to 'walk' by her. Isabelle was skilled enough that controlling her puppet was simply something she could do without thinking, and could even Multitask. |

"Huuuuuh. What's this?" A cheerful voice rang out, its light French accent tickling at the ears of those who could hear it. "I've never seen you here before. How interesting you are~!" Lucid approached, clad in a hoodie and bike shorts. Her goofy smile hid a very scary line of thought right now. Earlier, she felt like shooting somebody. This girl she just met was a good choice, but she was also undead! This girl was a loveable munchkin of a ghost, yep. And if there was one thing she liked, it was cute. Cute was nice, whether it was to be cuddled or shot. She'd figure out what tickled her fancy more first. "Don't see your type around here much. Freshly dead or long dead, huuh?" |

"Hmm?" Being born and raised in Japan, Isabelle had a Japanese accent rather than a French one; however, considering that it was what was spoken in her household, she was actually more fluent in French than in Japanese. It was also no problem for her to pin a French accent, since her mother and father both had one. The first question she was asked was somewhat odd. Normally, the puppeteer would have expected a question about her name, or her household first. Her date of death was a far odder one "It's been a few hundred years since I died, but I've kinda been sealed away for most of them." As to why the ghost had been sealed away, no answer would be forthcoming "It is a pleasure to meet you though, misses!" The greeting was accompanied by two curtsies: one from Isabelle, and a coordinated one by Lost Angel. "My name is Isabelle. Who are you, missus?" |

"Ooh, a really old ghost. The only one I met in this city was a youngster compared to you~" The fool laughed. "But it's nice to meet you, Isabelle! Call me Lucid." The assassin bowed, as was the custom here in Japan. With that out of the way, she went ahead and looked the giant puppet over. Oh, so maybe that was Isabelle's focus? Marionettes were a thing Lucid liked as well, seeing as how they reminded her of herself. Maybe she'd learn how to puppeteer them eventually. But for now, she'd talk to the puppet master about events, not the finer points of the art of puppeteering. "So, you must have been busted out recently? I haven't heard of anybody being uncorked, so that's got to be really close. Are there people who want to put you back where they think you belong?" She crossed her arms behind her back, rocking on her heels as she smiled and tilted her head. |

"I guess I'm an older spirit. Kinda funny, isn't it?" she told her, giggling. The irony was, of course, that she was several hundred years old, yet was only phys... erm... spiritually 10 years old. Still, if there was another ghost around, she might want to go and meet them. When Isabelle was asked about her being busted out recently, she nodded "Yes. I wasn't intentionally freed though. There was a really, really clumsy miko who tripped and broke my pot. After that, I was freed." she told her. She giggled "I was super dizzy after that happened. It turns out spending a couple hundred years kinda... does whatever makes you dizzy when... well, you know." Isabelle shivered when they asked her if anyone wanted to put her back "Gee, I never checked. I hope not; I don't wanna have to run." Well, she wasn't intending on killing soldiers again, so she shouldn't be a target, right. |

"Oh, wow. That's pretty cool. Like, you could totally tell us about ancient Japan!" Lucid giggled, her mary janes scraping as she rocked back and forth on her heels. "But I probably shouldn't bother you about that now. There's totally a mystery to unwrap like a Christmas present!" Wait, Christmas probably didn't exist in Japan that far back. "Ohh... More like Japanese Christmas." No, that wasn't really helpful either. "Kurisumasu?" Nope. Three strikes, you're out. "Hmm. Anyways, I don't think you should meet her just yet. It's a big surprise for a friend of mine." She shrugged. "Just like being freed from that pot, I guess. Wow, I would've thought the mikos in this city would know not to be clumsy around things. There's already been a few people who got freed by accidents by priestess accidents." So, 'gravity' was at work, huuuh? Hey, that was great! It would totally mean that events could go her way soon. "And I know the feeling. Cooped up in a centrifuge for an hour? Even I'm all dizzy after that." A rather empty headed thought suddenly occurred to her. "Hey, Isabelle. Haven't you noticed that people all act the same when they're dizzy? It's like a universal language or something." Perhaps she had stumbled onto a secret truth of the world. She didn't know. What she did know was that things were kind of okay for ghosts in the city. Well, this city, at least. "Ah, you should be safe. This town's really okay with all sorts of people. I mean, there are totally a couple of people that come from places other than Earth. So you can have fun here!" She held her hands out, grinning widely. "And hey, I'm in the mood for having fun. How about we go and play around, huh? I know a few good karaoke places." |
