Turning misery into meaningfulness!
Shirena, at least this time, was able to catch himself from falling to the ground. He was actually surprised to see that his kick had worked as well as it did, sending her to the ground. Not exactly to the floor, but it did seem to daze her enough to make her roll back. Of course, hearing that he nearly kicked her in the brain-stem made him a tad worried. "S-sorry!" He said, with a small tone of worry in his voice.

Of course, he still wouldn't hold back. He'd just try not to kick her brain-stem. Don't want to really do too much damage, especially to this good of a fighter. She took another stance he didn't particularly recognize. "Okay..." He seemed a tad worried about his approach, but took on another stance, this one seemingly more of a mix between offensive and defensive, two styles merged for an attempt at better flexibility. He moved in, not making any attacks, but keeping his guard up. It became clear that this girl was not one to be toyed with.

Of course, he was still smiling. It was almost disarming, though really, he was just having a lot of fun with his new-found opponent.

That went like Kell expected. An enzuigiri was a dumb move to bust out against Jen, although she was surprised that the purple haired girl didn't pounce on Shirena and turn him into a pile of broken matchsticks. No, instead Jen decided to go into a Wing Chun stance. Shit, how many styles did she know? A bead of sweat ran down Kell's forehead, but she quickly wiped it off. No, no freaking out. She had to be calm against an opponent like her.

"Wow, lights out would be an understatement. Right, huuuh~?" Cariot poked her friend, but the wrestler swatted her sleeved hand away. "Awww. Alright. Shirena should be aggressive! High risk, high reward! Jen is scary when fights get dragged out, because she picks people apart like that~"

No need for a rehash, Cariot. Kell already knew that. Well, now Jen knew what she was thinking. Her sour look didn't shut the pink blob up, though.

"Oooh, this is tense! So tense!" Cariot squealed.

Jen couldn't help but chuckle at Cariot's remark, seriously, that pink blob of a girl would probably make a good ringside commentator at a wrestling show or something. "Two can play this game," the purple-haired girl mused as Shirena adopted a more cautious approach this time round, advancing slowly but not making any attempts at offense. It was clear that her opponent realized that defensive strategies were the girl's forte.

"Well, so I guess ladies first, huh? Chivalry isn't dead, it seems," Jen remarked as she sized Shirena up as he approached. As the boy entered within arm's reach, Jen would respond by appearing to step forward to throw a left jab at the face, which turned out to be a feint as the purple-haired girl followed through with a right straight aimed in the center of Shirena's chest, looking to hit him in the sternum.

Shirena's approach was interrupted when Jen's hand drew back. The fist directed towards his chest hit almost directly, as he barely moved out of the way of her quick, barely seen jab, impacting mostly his shoulder as he attempted to weave away. He quickly built up the strength he could hold in his unharmed arm, and quickly moved up, attempting to place his palm on the back of her head. Upon attempting and possibly succeeding, he intended to end the fight quickly by bring her face down upon his knee., and flipping her to the ground with his other arm.

Because BMS said it was okay for me to simply end this segment.

That was not quite as planned, as the boy's reflexes appeared to be quicker than Jen had anticipated, as instead of hitting him in the chest her opponent weaved out of the way at the last fraction of a second, causing her punch to hit in the shoulder instead, and leaving her open to a counter from Shirena as the boy reached out with his other arm and wrapped his palm around the back of her head.

"Oh no you don't!" Jen thought as her right hand went behind her to seize Shirena by the wrist of the arm that'd gone to the back of the girl's head, and maintaining a talon-like grip on his arm she would at the same time perform a swift jab using her remaining hand, aimed at the armpit of the boy's seized arm using only the knuckles of her index and middle fingers in a punch commonly referred to as a "Phoenix Eye Strike" in Chinese martial arts circles, essentially concentrating all her energy onto a single spearlike point.

Her target was none other than the boy's axillary nerve, and a strike with sufficient force would result in a sharp pain followed by an acute numbing of the deltoid and teres minor muscles in the arm, although he would not have any time to worry about it as Jen chained her moves into a combo. Still maintaining her grip on one of Shirena's arms, the girl would use the arm that made the nerve strike earlier to seize the front of her male opponent's shirt, before swinging her lower body upwards to trap his torso between her legs - with one leg pressing against his back and another squeezing against the back, like a piece of paper trapped between the blades of a pair of scissors.

And hence the name of the move that the purple-haired girl was about to execute; the aptly-named scissor kick takedown. With a muted grunt, Jen would perform a sudden swing of her hips while tightening the grip of her legs to "cut" through the boy's center of gravity and send the both of them to the mat! With the ball in her field, the purple-haired girl would then mount her opponent as he lay in a supine position with a fist positioned inches above his face as she got into a "ground and pound" position.

"Well played! Well played!" Jen declared as she got off Shirena, gratefully helping her opponent back to his feet as well, grinning broadly as she thanked and congratulated him for a sparring session well-fought. "Hope to see you again!" Jen waved him goodbye as the boy went on his way, before turning to face Kell. "So, you're next then?" Jen wondered, giving the other girl a cursory look as she tilted her head curiously.

ZEHAHAHA!!
Kell gaped in absolute horror. Phoenix Eye? Jen seemed to have a stupidly huge arsenal of moves. The only thing she seemed to lack was the genuine incarnation of dim mak and the ability to use ki, but that could just be courtesy on her part. Well, if that was the case....

As uneasy as her smile was, Kell rose to the challenge. Unlike Shirena, she was going into this knowing full well her ass was grass. But that was the point of the exercise. She was a realist with a job to do.

"Good job, Shirena!" Cariot called out to the boy, despite his inability to hear her. "Now, Kell. Jen's a fighting machine with a good personality! Can you deal with that~?"

The luchadora grumbled to herself. Sure, Cariot. Go and praise her over your best friend. Madre de Dios, this blob was aggravating her.

"Damn right. I'll set the rules." The luchadora threw her jacket to the side and undid her tie. No sense in baiting somebody who could actually exploit it. "I won't use weapons or powers. You? Go all out. Weapons, powers, techniques to knock me out instantly, anything. Use whatever you can. That's what I want to face."

In other words, her standard style versus Jen's full might. She had to know how she stacked up against the purple haired girl, if only to reassure herself. If they became enemies one day, Kell couldn't afford to go in unprepared. Still, it wasn't like she was exactly eager for that chance. Somehow, she felt like she'd regret it if things between them degenerated that far.

"It's not like I have any weapons on me at the moment," Jen remarked as there was a slight pause in the action between Shirena going off and Kell getting her turn, which allowed Jen to take a drink of water from a water canteen she'd brought along with her, before making her way back to the mat, as the other girl promised not to use any weapons or powers. "And my powers is basically my mind," the purple-haired girl remarked as she took up her stance, fists raised close to her body, left foot dug in and right foot en pointe, a classic ready stance used by Muay Thai fighters.

"But you sure about wanting me to go all out?" Jen asked as her head bobbed to the left and right erratically, such that if her opponent were to try to read her moves by observing her head's position she might find Jen's stance to be rather confusing to read as the girl bobbed and weaved, trying to keep Kell guessing as to which angle she might strike from. "Because while I know what I'm capable of, I am not too sure how much you can take," she continued, clearly somewhat concerned over her opponent. Despite her can-do attitude, Jen wouldn't feel good about herself if she somehow injured her sparring partner because someone got overzealous afterall.

"You've heavily armed already." Kell pointed with one gloved hand. "Your body and your mind. They're pretty dangerous weapons, you know."

Once Jen refreshed herself and got into a Muay Thai stance, the luchadora knew that she was in for a world of pain. She had to accept it, though. There was no going back now. She took on an odd sort of stance, hunched over with her right arm and leg leading. There was no way she would be able to read through her opponent's stance in time, so she advanced step by step. Her brow knitted as she edged her way towards the very limits of Jen's range.

"Go all out. I'd be offended if you didn't." She insisted.

With that last sentence, she might as well have sealed her doom. But this was the price of learning her place. Kell wasn't any stranger to pain, as her many scars would testify to. This was just going to add a fresh set of souvenirs to her body, most likely. With a slight growl, she stepped into kicking range.

Nothing ventured, nothing gained. Let the fight commence.

"Ah, got it," Jen nodded at Kell's insistence; she certainly spoke like someone who could take it, so here was Jen hoping that her opponent was capable of walking the talk, and not one who talks tough, but would quickly cry over a chipped tooth or black eye. "The Chinese do have a saying amongst martial artists afterall - hold back your strength, not your skill." And with that being said, it was time the purple-haired girl took off the kid gloves.

As Kell entered within kicking distance of Jen, she would appear to cock back her right leg, looking like she was trying to go for a high roundhouse - a move that was normally thought of as awesome but impractical. However, as the girl performed the 90° swing of her lower body her leg would end up swinging low instead of high, looking to catch her lavender-haired opponent in the side of her knee in a low roundhouse aimed to throw her off-balance.

"Then the Chinese must really hate me." Kell muttered. She was outclassed when it came to technique, so all she had going for her was physical prowess. Jen was very strong, but she wouldn't be able to outmuscle Kell. Not that it mattered much, though. The gap between them in skill was about the same in the opposite direction. That and she had a gimp arm, one that the purple haired fighter could exploit easily.

Of course, the first advantage worked to the wrestler's favour when she appeared to go for a high roundhouse. Kell immediately knew that it was a feint, because there was no way somebody as skilled as Jen would ever start off with such a move. It was too risky against a fresh opponent, which meant....

She immediately met the low roundhouse with a shin block, wincing as the blow sent a jolt of pain running through her leg. Damn, that hurt! That kick was one of the strongest she had taken, although it was still within the realm of human strength. It didn't compare to that other girl's. In return, she immediately made a grab for that leg. Unlike Shirena, Kell actually knew what to do when grasping a limb.

"Miss." Or rather, it was a partial hit as Kell blocked Jen's kick with her shin instead of taking it to the side of the knee as the purple-haired girl had originally planned. Still, being kicked in the shins hurt a lot - and might immobilize an opponent nearly as much as taking a kick to the knee joint - but it was clear that Kell was an opponent who has a lot of heart as she fought back against the pain to seize the leg that Jen had kicked her with.

Acting on pure instinct, as soon as Kell's grip closed around Jen's ankle the purple-haired girl would bring her remaining leg up with its knee folded, such that for a brief moment her entire body would be hanging in midair, before suddenly extending her free leg, like suddenly releasing a compressed spring to deliver a snap kick straight to the other girl's chest - albeit should the kick land Kell would find that Jen would be kicking with the flat of her foot rather than the heel, with the intention of knocking her opponent back and breaking free, rather than to cause damage.

Should Jen's counter attempt succeed and allow her to break free from Kell's grip, the girl would attempt to put some distance between herself and her opponent, swiftly performing a backwards tumble and rising back onto her feet to prepare herself for Kell's next attack.

Kell's opponent was a canny fighter, there was no doubt about that. If this was the first time she had ever seen the purple haired mechanic fight, she would've been tossed around like a rag doll. But she was giving it her all now, far more than what was necessary for a simple spar. She had to, because there was nobody she feared more at this moment than Jen.

Her fear was validated only moments after she managed to grab her opponent's ankle. The snap kick, too quick to defend against, thudded against the wrestler's chest. But she stood firm. With a colossal effort, she managed to keep her grip on Jen's leg. But the price was that the impact of the hit would do more than simply push her away. A heavy thud sounded as the kick hit her full-on.

In short, she was lucky that nothing was broken. Kell grunted, in anger and in pain as the blow drove the air out of her. Anger might have made her sloppy, but it didn't make her weak like her previous terror did. Now that Jen was on her back, this was probably the one chance she'd get to even things up.

She knew her left arm was a liability, and that she couldn't pull off a proper leglock when the mechanic was still fresh. The chances of her escaping the hold before it could be locked in was too high. So, she did what her violent instincts compelled her to do. Using her wooden limb to briefly secure the leg against her body, Kell turned away from her opponent as she reached out with her real hand to grip Jen's pinky toe. If she managed to grab it, her abnormally strong fingers would pull back and break the vulnerable digit.

"Just Not as planned..." Jen thought as Kell turned out to be tougher than the purple-haired girl had anticipated, as her wire-fu kick failed to knock the other girl back, and with Kell still having Jen's foot seized the purple-haired girl would end up landing squarely on her back. And then there she had it... if Jen wasn't mistaken, it would appear that her opponent was looking to apply the dreaded pinky hold - except on her toe instead of finger as the other girl tucked Jen's controlled leg against her body, while using her free hand to make a grab at the girl's toe.

In such a desperate situation, for the time being Jen wasn't able to think of a technique to counter or escape Kell's hold - and getting one's toe hyperextended like that HURT like hell. In a bid to escape, Jen found no other recourse other than to resort to humanity's oldest resource. She wasn't proud of what she did, really, but given her dire straits Jen basically attempted to power her way out of Kell's hold - bucking her lower body and kicking wildly, while dragging herself forward with her arms in a frenzied attempt to jerk her foot free from Kell's grasp.

Incredible strength, when backed by determination, makes somebody exceedingly hard to hold. If she had two good arms, Kell would've managed to keep her grip. But as always, her wooden arm continued to fail her. Knowing she couldn't keep the thrashing limb controlled anymore, the wrestler settled for the next best thing.

Before Jen's leg slipped completely out of her grasp, she pulled the pinky toe down and towards her with all her might. She was too distracted by Cariot's sudden shriek to pay attention to whether she succeeded in dislocating the digit or not, though. Receiving several surprisingly strong kicks to her legs, Kell was forced to retreat. She could've tanked them, but the fear of being dragged to the ground and dismantled surged up in her.

Right now, ten steps separated them. The anger that had compelled her to start fighting for real was starting to fade, and the skittishness that had plagued her earlier was returning. How worthless, she wanted to say. To think an untempered girl like Jen could scare her... No, that shouldn't be the case. She had fought far more dangerous enemies before. She even racked up a large number of scars as reminders of that.

So, why? Why did this one mechanic scare her so?

It was a desperate gambit on Jen's part, and as far as the purple-haired girl was concerned it was just the sort of thing she hated - to rely on a gambit, so used was she to strategizing and rationalism, that to play her chances against unknown odds was basically akin to committing a sin, like breaking a sacred oath for Jen. But still, it looked like her gambit worked, and the practical aspect of the girl considered it acceptable because whatever works work. Then she heard it - just before she managed to break free from Kell's grasp Jen heard a faint pop coming from her foot. The sound of her pinky toe being dislocated from its joint.

"Scheiße!" the purple-haired girl screamed as she rolled back, only to end up momentarily putting some weight on her injured digit and causing a lot more pain in the process. "Mein ficken gott!" Jen would scream some more in German, followed by a semi-coherent spew of profanities in at least half a dozen other languages as for a few seconds the girl cursed her injury. Then the Cluster F-bombing died down as she hobbled back onto her feet. "Uh... sorry about that," Jen remarked as she noticed that the commotion caused by her had caught the attention of several passers-by who'd now gathered in the hall to watch.

"Is Jen-san... alright...?" a familiar deadpan-sounding girl with short copper-colored hair poked her head past two other students, as Misora also found herself being drawn to the commotion.

"It's alright, Misora-chan, I am fine," Jen remarked as she breathed heavily, gesturing for the half-zombie to stay off the mat as she tried to make her way over to the purple-haired girl's side. "As the old saying goes, it's all fun and games, until someone loses an eye..." the purple-haired girl remarked solemnly as she assumed another stance - or rather a lack of a stance - as she simply stood with her feet spaced apart at shoulder width, and her arms by her side and slightly lifted with her palms facing Kell, like a posture someone might make when one they are confused. And it was Jen's sign of saying that shit just got real, the girl not even bothering with a stance this time, knowing how a skilled fighter could anticipate her attacks via her stances.

"Bring it on," Jen remarked grimly, as Misora and the rest of the students watched on.
