Surprisingly Lenny found that he was unconcerned with the Godzilla, with all the chaos going on he was sure it could possibly be an illusion, maybe it was actually hundreds of miles away by foot, or maybe the chaotic air had distorted space so the beast could destroy his position at any moment. He could do nothing about it, so he gave no special mind to it. He was riding to the top at the time.

On the levels below his Phylactery had found a heavy service elevator, it could hold the chitinous beast and its two accompanying haemonculi. The lift was made for strength though, not for speed, it would be a time before the reached the top floor.

As a familiar ding opened the metal doors Lenny took a few careful steps before sending his haemonculi to search the overgrown area. He stayed by the entrance, using his abilities to monitor the senses of all his creatures. He heard an audible movement, a heavy foot meeting metal, and ducked behind a large root that fell from ceiling to floor, he was concealed, but a shaft of light made his shadow a traitor.

As the man in green rose he would see two large Hunter haemonculi standing a fair distance away, anxious but unmoving near Lenny’s hiding spot. A quick scan of the area would reveal another ten sets of eyes looking from less visible places. But the eyes weren’t fierce, merely the eyes of a creature waiting for a man to pass them on a trail.

time? He checked the clock function on his cyber glasses and noted that it wouldn’t help him. The time device was skipping forward and back, bringing up foreign dates as the current one, the field was disruptive to say the least. “You’re actually mostly wrong on both if you round” he said, matching tone for tone, speaking to the man that he could see without being seen. “And while I’m glad to make your presence I’m afraid I’m terribly ignorant when it comes to games. I swore off them mostly when I lost $100 on a game of tic-tac-toe” His response was sly, a bit of a joke. Abilio had the smug assurance of someone on top that Lenny loathed in all people, especially when the assurance was held correctly. He had taken a long time to learn that it was better to give measure for measure than to argue. He moved himself to keep himself out of Abilio’s direct line of sight, circling the root when necessary. “Besides, if you’re looking for a partner for your game I’m afraid I couldn’t get the proper uniform” he jested, referring to the suit of power armor the man wore.

Quick. Shisi knew he was quick. But his adversary fell even quicker. A slight surprise came over him, how easily his blow had connected with the armored soldier. But that was a fleeting thought; perhaps his opponent had not expected him to recover so quickly after taking a slash to his arms, or that he would engage an armed opponent whilst unarmed. In the field of battle, there were no recourse after steel was drawn. The blow connected, the kyonshi continued through. As both his feet touched the ground, his opponent crumpled onto the floor. The man's helmet tumbled off, revealing the identity of the assailant.

A senior. Nothing at all like how one would imagine the man behind the swings of that blade. Perhaps, a long time ago, the man had been a fighter, someone who took up arms for some ideology or another. But now, before the undead, all there was was a decrepit man with a sword. The tides of time and passage of age had turned the man; he was not what he once was.

However, none of that seemed to register in Shisi's eyes, as he gazed down, victor of the short struggle. Though some would argue that it was an unfair battle, an aged man against a supernatural undead, there was a different between a bout and a battle. Fairness had no place on the battlefield.

Reaching down, Shisi picked up the man's blade. Weighing it in his hand, the undead could still see his blood coating the edge. Unlike its wielder, the metal was well-kept and sharp.

"You people have an old custom," Shisi remarked. It didn't seem to occur to the undead to check whether the man was conscious or not, even whether he was still alive. "In which you would choose death over lost." Turning his eyes over to the man on the ground, Shisi leaned downward.

"That's a bit archaic, yes?" Bringing up his hand, liberated the scabbard from the warrior. With both in hand, the kyonshi then sheathed the sword. However, he showed no sign of letting it go.

"It is said that a samurai's sword is his most prized possession, that it houses his very soul," he spoke, holding the sheathed katana before the man. "Your soul is more than worthy as this one's spoils." With that simple statement, the kyonshi bowed deeply to the fallen man, before heading off after Izumi and Sophia.

And right into a wall of flames. Well, that was inconvenient. Though Shisi could try braving the blazing barricade, being undead did not particularly made you inflammable.

"Yes, the center is oft times most vital. Correct, a blow to the heart is oft times a killing blow." The undead found himself answering Izumi's inner musings automatically. And with two slightly different, but in the end redundant statements.

Until, boom. Their mage blasted off upon a column of magical light. The undead stared at the trailblazer, slightly dumbfounded and at a lost for words. True, being able to fly would solve the problem... The next thing he knew, he was plucked off the ground, dangling like a ragdoll as Sophia sprouted wings. Well, that more or less solved all their problems, though Artemis would have to find another way up. The kyonshi had the decency to stay as immobile as possible as he was transported.

Next thing he knew, they were in the Skytree, with Sophia and Izumi confronting a man that, judging from what the two were saying, was the perpetrator behind this conflict.

"Greetings."" It would seem more teenagers had crashed the party. Well, two more, and an undead. However, Shisi's attention wasn't entirely on Abilio. After all, aside from the suit he wore, he posed no imminent threat. Instead, the undead noted the assortment of bizarre creatures littering the room. Now, he had no idea just what they were, but they looked considerably more menacing than Abilio. His grip tightened on the blade.
"Good," Xie replied, tapping his foot incessantly as Eva did her thing. Though, he was pleasantly surprised that this would work; that the gynoid would be able to access her databases, servers and whatnot despite being under this dome.

And tadah. Science had happened. Though he would never admit it, Xie's recent forays have illuminated the possibilities inherent in this field. With Eva finding out the nodes of this dome, the group can progress efficiently, rather than bumble around. Of course, those pillar of lights should've been a tell tale sign, and Lavender's reconnaissance supported this.

"Our destination is set then." It was simple, really. All they had to do is get to the closest node, break it, and the whole thing should fall apart. Or at least become unstable, depending on how critical the said element was.

Xie suddenly frowned.

"Are you a bus?" the Alchemist remarked coldly. It wasn't even meant as an insult or a mock, Xie was seriously doubting that Eva could ferry not one but two people to their objective. In one piece, in any case. However, watching Misora get on without hesitation, and Lavender's urging, Xie begrudgingly complied. If a girl could survive this, why not he? Though, little did he know that the girl happened to be undead, whilst he was very much capable of dying.

It was going to be an uncomfortable ride.

Artemis watched as Izumi began resisting Sophie began telling him that it was an illusion, Izumi continuing to believe it was real. To Artemis, it seemed he wanted to believe it wasn't an illusion rather than believing it was, Artemis sympathizing with him since she could understand how it must feel losing someone and having them for oneself. It would take a bit more convincing from Sophie to make him understand, Izumi coming to his senses and then showed determination to end everything that was going on. Izumi took off almost immediately, leaving behind a gust of wind as well as Sophie, Shisi and Artemis.

After sprouting wings from her back, Sophie turned to Artemis and asked if she could teleport, Artemis nodding and watching Sophie take off with Shisi. Artemis looked to the ground and saw Izumis had he was once wearing, deciding she take it with her. She'd put the hat on her own head, her target in sight as she began teleporting to the center of the city using her shadow teleportation.

Spike held onto Godzilla as tightly as he could manage. There wasn't much else he could do. Of course he had intended to scale the great beast and punch it in the eye, but all he was really managing was to hang on. Spike had never been the sort to stop in such a weary place though. He reached up and climbed. Using all the might he could muster he climbed up. Like a worthless fly on the great monster he moved up. He was lucky the thing didn't seem to care about him at all.

Godzilla was causing damage to the city, which was probably a bigger problem than whatever had brought up this barrier in the first place but as things were it didn't seem like Spike could do anything about either issue. All he could do was give reaching Godzilla's head his all.

Eventually he pulled himself onto Godzilla's shoulder, exhausted from his effort as he stood on what could barely even be considered shaky ground.

"Hmm...well, this is certainly a pickle." Shad murmured as the raft suddenly swung to the right down a empty street, carried by the gelatin's current. Of course, one of the plans was to get to the skytree, get off the raft and then see if there was some rope he could use to travel from building to building (as he didn't know how to swim). Up ahead, a weird pillar of light shone brightly about 40 feet away as the current pushed him closer and closer to it, in which he panicked somewhat trying to paddle away with his semi-steel pipe as a oar without success. "This cannot be good...." He muttered as the distance between him and the light pillar shortened rapidly.

Woosh-Woosh! Remi Au Lait!

Though her meal may have been interrupted, it was probably for the best, as the beast outdoors let out a giant roar followed by it's beam. And while the sacrifice of the poor chicken will not be remembers, let's take this time to mourn the loss of this delicious piece of meat. We will always remember you, Jon, for all the good you've done to Hibiki's stomach. May you rest in peace and find salvation at the ends of her bowels. What? You don't name your food? Nevertheless, Hibiki let out a loud squeak as the other male crashed in and saved her from the blast, her mind blacking out for a moment until the two of them landed outdoors, specifically on the roof of another building. As her feet touched the ground, she completely disregarded poor Jon and decided to look at the other male, as well as his hands.

"You. did.. that explosion thing? Was that you?! It was! It totally was! Okay, let's go!"

Her voice roared out with a bit of excitement behind it, as her hands threw away the remaining bones of her grilled friend, in order to focus on this new person and the ability she assumed he could do. It wasn't just that it looked cool, well, shooting fire and explosions out of your fists are always cool, but she also got excited over a plan that started brewing in her head. Without thinking much about it, she swooped forward and to the side of Shirena, grabbing onto the collar of his shirt and forcing him down over her back, his chest pressing in against her back.

"GOOO!"
Without giving it much thought, she then dashed forward, with or without Shirena, as she attempted to catch up and jump onto the creature once more. In her path, she dashed over the rooftop to another one, until she reached one just above the monster they were battling, quickly dashing out into the air and above it once more! Now, if Shirena stayed with her, Hibiki would spin in the air and throw the male down first, disregarding his safety and her own, as she attempted to grab onto Godzilla's mane on the way down! You see, life has to be impulsive! You gotta be stupid in order to survive! But if the male was not with her, she'd simply aim to catch the mane on her own, without trying to strike it.

"No harm, no foul. Most don't know about it really, just I knew some kids from Hyakuji had gotten aware of the whole debacle. Was wondering if they'd maybe spread the word a bit, though I guess it wasn't likely either." Abilio admitted with a shrug, before letting out a small burst of laughter at the remark on his particular attire.
"Uniform? No, no, its nothing to do with that. Well, not technically. But after the last few rounds, I felt I needed some better protection. Power armour seems like a sensible choice, no?" Abe thumped the metallic white chest a few times, beaming a smile that soon turned a bit... strange.

"I don't really need a partner at this point though. Just someone to keep it exciting." He had glanced aside through the windows, and gave a small, flick of a nod. The helmet closed shut down on his face as the lights began to shine, and he suddenly struck up a pose as he turned.
"One Hundred Power!" With a great cry, the green, glass like parts of the suit began to glow, every slight shift leaving a trail of light...
Such as when he then threw out his hand ahead of him, catching something that smashed through the glass at a ridiculous speed, driving up such turbulence that it was hard to tell what was going on until it all died down.

He had caught the end of a broom in his palm.

"Ngh... guess I need to work on the posture a bit." Abe pushed back slightly, to try and make Izumi back off a small bit, as he shook his hand to try and relief some apparent ache. His demeanor brightened somewhat though as the familiar valkyrie arrived, and Abe gave a small wave.
"Hey, been a while." But whilst he tried to greet her as one who'd already met, the response he received wasn't quite the same.
"Ah, well, no actually, but its... its related. Helped me figure out how to resolve some of the issues I had in trying to make this whole thing work." It was a bit strange to see a figure that looked like a robot give out such casual and confused gestures, but at least two of the present party had to know there was a man beneath the metallic skin.

"...Though, I don't it you don't exactly approve, do you?" Abilio laid a pointing finger to Sophia's chest...
"Well too bad. Because I need to win this round of the contest, and the name of the game is chaos. Two of the others are already ahead, and I imagine its because I kept things small." Then pushing past her, he held out his arms, gazing upon the mad scenes that he had created in his work.
"But what could they do that would rival this? Giving the world's largest urban population center the power to make whatever they want real - or close as you can get anyway. Every otaku, every old man, every ambitious office lady and every dreaming child. Possessing the freedom that they should have, but that no government, by their very nature, would ever allow!" He turned back, his voice and posture almost accusing as he looked upon the students.

"And... I get to see if it'll work. If the world I'm striving for has any resemblance to what could be a reality. Either I'm right, and I live knowing that fact, or I'm wrong, in which case... well, then it merely strengthens my odds of winning, I suppose." It was... a regretful thing to consider, but in truth, for his world to work, there had to be some semblance of order - but as agreed upon by neighbours and consensus, by people who could live together without the oversight of authority. Relaxing his pose, he nevertheless looked upon the teenagers... and sighed.
"But you'll be wanting to stop me, I suppose. Which is fine, by the way. Your choice to make and all - and heck, my suit is connected to the projectors I have across the city." Abe lightly tapped at the helmet of the armour, oddly cooperative...

"But its my choice to get in your way." But then he clenched his fists, clearly ready and willing for a fight if the students chose to bring one.

So who would?

THUD

"...Is the tower shaking?"

The answer was, of course, Godzilla.
It had made its way to the Skytree, cumbersome but steady, and seemingly ignorant of the creatures that milled about its body like fleas on a hound's back. Shaking them with every step, Spike, Hibiki, and all others who dared to cling to its form would probably find some difficulty in holding on, but it wouldn't be an impossible task. Even as the great beast thrust its body against the base of the Skytree, tearing through much of the adjoining buildings in so doing, its scales were large and affixed enough to use as anchor points, as were the large blue fins that protruded from its spine. The closer to the tower it had drawn, the more enraged it had become, and now that it was here, it was smashing at the structure, trying to rip it apart.

...That uh, probably wouldn't be good for a whole lot of reasons.

Elsewhere, multiple members of Japan's strange yet illustrious school for the fantastic converged on a glowing pillar of light, though by different means and reasons. One group, clung to the back of a flying gynoid, an artificial life form capable of self propulsion via an external pack. An individual flew under her own power, directing the winds and directed by them in turn towards the target.
And then there was one poor schmuck by the name of Shad, who in attempting to 'paddle' through the oddly green river around him, soon found the raft beneath him somehow shaking and rocking before coming out entirely under him, as if there had somehow been controls that he let go off. The weird roaring sound - like that of an engine - stopped as the lad was likely thrown for a bit, though if he managed to land instead of crash, good for him.

Either way, he'd find himself staring down a very, very strange scene, with the pillar of light being... cross shaped? With several people, clothed in weird, somewhat mismatched sets of priestly garbs, praying around it, flocked by armoured angels that seemed to have leapt from a comic.
Well, whatever the heck was going on here, one could see the source - the pillar emerging from something that looked rather like a baptismal font, though more aged in design and not really looking like it belonged in a proper church.

Then again, one had to wonder if the people at worship here actually knew a thing about christian denominations...

Considering how fast he had actually been going, there's just no way Izumi could hang onto the broom when it was literally stopped so abruptly by a friggin' man in an iron suit, the Ordinary Magician lurched forward, still having the momentum from the flying broom as his grip slipped off the handle and caused him to fly and crash forward into whatever furniture he could crash into with a pained yelp.

The blazing exhaust of the mini-Hakkero on the broom only lasted for the next few seconds, before it sputtered and died, giving off a few feeble sparks as the broom itself fell clattering on the floor.

Surprisingly enough, he didn't stay down for long. "I-is this your... stupid idea of your... ideal world...?!" In fact, he actually looked... uncharacteristically furious, the Ordinary Magician yelled out with a wheeze, digging himself out of the pile of broken furniture, disheveled and bruised with a bleeding nose, probably from crashing flat face first. "I've heard your story...! What's... what's the big idea of getting a stupid wish to c-change the world... if this horrible mess is all that you're going to end up with?!" He was actually having quite the difficulty to stay standing on his two feet, the impact might have done a bit more than just give him bruises. ...Still surprising that he's actually still standing, considering it is him after all...

...Taking that back, he just fell, seemingly unable to keep himself standing much longer as he collapsed on all four, coughing and clutching his pained chest. As much as Izumi really wanted to yell at the man who is presumably the perpetrator of this entire chaotic incident, it doesn't seem like he physically could do anything besides glaring hatefully at the man. It's actually arguable whether he's really opposing the man's vision of this... ideal world of absolute freedom of his, or he just really wanted to vent out his anger at someone, anyone for giving him false hope from his memory...

...You know, they'd been having miniature earthquakes since they got here, but this is actually kind of the first time he could really see what had been causing it this whole time. Especially when Abe himself chose that time to point it out...

THAT THE FREAKING GODZILLA IS LITERALLY RAMPAGING RIGHT AT THE SKYTREE.

Oh dear god this is not good.

"Impressive, impressive! I wouldn't have thought about summoning a monstrous lizard to tear down an entire city, what a literal way of saying chaos!"

...Sorry, who?

High up in the air in between the Tokyo Skytree and Godzilla itself, a stream of ethereal pink butterflies seemed to materialize into existence from out of nowhere. They flew around in a massive torrent of spiritual energy, putting up a fairly fantastical display of beauty in the midst of the chaos. And in the middle of it all...

Posted Image

To say it was a grand and majestic entry would be quite an understatement. The Ancient Spirit of eras past, known only by the name Saigyouji, made her appearance with what could be considered as a criminally excessive amount of flair. Her usual regal and proud self were dwarfed by her own show of aesthetic, what seemed to be like a massive, ornate ethereal folding fan unfurled behind her, not unlike a peacock showing off its colorful feathers. As if the waves after waves of the ethereal pink butterflies storming about wasn't enough, even more were streaming out of the great multicolored fan behind her with matching color schemes, accompanied even more by volleys after volleys of condensed spiritual energies flying about in, surprisingly, a very recognizable, and very artistic and beautiful patterns.

...What if I say that these criminally excessive amount of show isn't just for show?

Anyone familiar with the term 'danmaku'?

Her so-called light show are as deadly and destructive as they are enchantingly beautiful, as those in the Tokyo Skytree, and Godzilla itself would find out, that each one of the seemingly endless volley of spiritual energies that managed to fill a large part of the central area of the dome, could hit with as much force as a high-powered explosive! Multiply that with, well... literally a hailstorm of it coming from the Ancient Spirit...

Luckily some of the more concentrated part of her patterned sea of destructive spiritual energy were mostly directed towards Godzilla itself, which would probably help support her well-meaning intention to help subdue the monstrous reptile. "Mmm~ Not my most favorite spell card, the tempo is a bit too fast and concentrated for my taste~" ...Or probably not...? Since there were still quite a hell of a lot of stray bullets blasting around nearly everywhere else... Though at the very least those small-scale destruction are much more preferable to Godzilla's much more massive one. "Now, you do not have to worry, I am not here to disturb your plan for chaos. After all, we are not supposed to directly interfere with each other, yes?" The Ancient Spirit said, actually finding the time to glance back with a smile at the level he and the students were at on the SkyTree, her voice strangely magnified for everyone to hear, all the while letting her hands holding a pair of regular sized folding fan dance around like a conductor orchestrating a band. "Although, if those kids were not there with you right now, do you think breaking one or two rules would count for or against me in this 'chaos' trial?"

“Then I hope you’re happy with the result.” Sophia hissed at Abe, hating him for all the damage, both physical and mental, he had caused. Further words of anger were held back as Izumi’s condition pushed all else out of the Valkyrie’s mind, and she kneeled beside him and began to heal his wounds. That crash looked pretty bad and the blood wasn’t a good sign, but hopefully with her magic he’ll be back on his feet in no time. As she was doing this the steady rumbling got louder and the shaking became more intense. Sophia looked outside to see…

… Is that… yup, it was.

…Looks like they’re going to need all the help they can get with this one. But Abe’s reaction was more surprising, the man seemed genuinely confused by the giant lizard’s presence. “Y…you’re kidding right? That thing can’t be real…” She shot a glance at the armoured man. “Did you bring that… that monster here too? I thought everything was supposed to be an illusion!” Once again she barely had time to process this new turn of events before yet another powerful presence joined them on this field of madness.

At least this one was helping… somewhat. As Saigyouji rained death over the city Sophia smashed open a window facing Godzilla with her spear. “We need to stop it before it causes anymore damage.” She gripped her spear tightly and clenched her teeth as she looked back at Abe. “I hope at the very least didn’t want this to happen. Tell us everything you know about it!”

------------------------Eva’s case…------------------------

The gynoid came to a stop about a block from the cross-shaped pillar of light. By now VENATOR had ran out of power, so she waited for Xie and Misora to get off then purged the armour. The discarded pieces clanked to the ground and disappeared in a glimmer of light a moment later as her EXORNO satellite retrieved them for recharging.

What stood before them was… an enigma to say the least. Eva never quite understood the idea of religion, so she didn’t really understand what the worshipers were doing, but that didn’t matter to her. They were here to take down the pillar, not admire it. Though that could be a problem, considering there was no clear source for the pillar.

“We need to search for the source. Exercise caution, it is uncertain whether or not the people are real or illusions.” While it might be dangerous for the other students, her own safety was the least of her concern and Eva walked straight towards the pillar, scanning for anything that might be a generator or something projecting the light. She did make sure not to actively antagonize the priests or the angels though, but that might not be possible once they shutting the pillar down.

"A fucking ha. I knew one of you bastards had to be involved."

A thoroughly tired luchador pulled herself over the edge of the window, one hand sticky with sap. Apparently, she had somehow managed to climb up the tower with the aid of her wooden arm and her incredible physical conditioning. It had taken a damned long time, but Kell was there now.

"G- give me a moment. I'm going to kick your ass when I catch my breath." She wheezed, shuffling over to the wall to lean against it and rest. "You crazy bastard. That blue haired bitch was already deranged, but you went and made her look positively sane."

She remembered the horror of being trapped by Saigyouji in that crystal ball. And god damn, she hated each of those stupid Kings. They were going to cause all sorts of shit. Maybe pushing the armoured man off of the Skytree would save them all some trouble. In fact....

Meanwhile, a yellow blob could be seen on Godzilla's leg.

"heeeeeeelp"

Yep. Hang in there, John.

As Shisi looked at the strange creatures he would find that one of them, a spiked back feline, matched his glance. The eyes were deep, black, and sharp, but the creature itself made no movement

“Yes, I think powered armor is really the best anyone can do for protection these days” he stated, giving his position behind the pillar away to all those nearby. He stayed in hiding as more and more people joined, his creature’s began to move deeper into the shadowy recesses of the room, Godzilla’s and Lady Saigyouji’s impacts on the skytree had disturbed the electrical systems, making the dark, reflective eyes of his various haemonculi more apparent.

While others moved forward to conduct the instigator of this event Lenny stayed out of the mix. The interference of Godzilla did little to alter this. His armor is too strong, any hope of a direct strike is pointless, besides, one of the others most likely has some source of armor penetration He mentally noted that his Phylactery with its two escort haemonculi were on finally on his floor, though they lurked as well, the Phylactry’s eight green, slit like eyes were clearly visible far on the other side of the chamber where some collapsed plant matter blocked out the light.

He recognized a few. He shakily gave a wave to Kell, they had hunted something together before and had their souls trapped together, he assumed that that meant they were bonded in some way. Sophina he knew from Metro, though she didn’t seem to notice him and was more concerned with the injured. Lady Saigyouji? Well, he wasn’t exactly sure what their relation was currently. He observed this and still couldn’t really find an impetus to act either way.

“Well at least you had the sense to experiment on a smaller scale first” he replied, leaning against the same pillar for support. “Although it seems we are getting some unexpected results. Lenny worried that he may look a bit suspicious. He had been here first and the cause of this whole thing was unharmed, he had a host of strange creatures to his service that were currently not fighting or defending. He asked himself what his role here was.

...How did he missed that? Shisi tensed, wearily looked to the man in the armor, the extravagant stance Abilio adopted was foreign even to him. But that did nothing to discredit the feat the foreigner had accomplished. Abilio had stopped Izumi's magical charge with his with his bare hands. And the fact that the magician had just crashed through the wall like paper only hinted at how much force the thing probably had.

And Abilio stopped it in its tracks. The next moment, Izumi was thrown off into the furniture.

He looked human, Shisi assumed he was, but that didn't make much difference to the undead. Robots and technology were beyond him. He's not one to take lightly. That was all that mattered to him. With the creatures in a relative lull, Shisi couldn't help but lower his stance, in case Abilio intended to go on the defensive. Or not, he was talking a great deal for someone that was supposed to fight.

Discussing philosophy, as it turns out, was not the undead's strong point. The world Abilio spoke of, a perfect freedom for every individual, sound like plain anarchy to Shisi. An anarchy where, given the state of the sphere they were in, everyone was a god. And when everyone was a god, then human nature, the rule of nature, dictate that only the strong would survive. And if everyone was equal, unless there were something to greater to keep order, they would start killing each other.

As Abilio continued on, however, Shisi recognized. What Abilio wanted wasn't total anarchy. If anything, it was much more akin Communism. And not the ones instated by pretenders either. A perfect commune, where every man, woman and child may call each other equals in a casteless structure. From each according to his own ability, to each according to his need. Except, it wasn't quite that either.

Shisi concluded that Abilio was an idealist; a man with his head stuck in the clouds of a phantasmal utopia.

Then, a voice came from behind the trio. Some girl just crawled up through the opening Izumi had made. Sure, that made an easy way to enter for anything airborne, but...

"Do the elevators not work?" Shisi muttered to the air. And the next moment might've just given him his answer. The floor beneath him shook violently, as what could only be described as a monstrosity had made itself to the door of the Skytree. Well, in perspective, the Skytree was nearly three times taller than Godzilla, but the creature's immense strength could be felt like an earthquake. Placing one hand on a nearby piece of furniture, Shisi steadied himself as Sophia went to break a window. And, perhaps to make things more chaotic, if not worse, that rozen haired ghost from the park had arrived, setting the area off in a dazzling array of exploding lights.

"But who?" Shisi questioned loudly. Despite not posing any immediate threat (aside from "debrooming" Izumi), Abilio was the one responsible for all this chaos, but Godzilla and Saigyouji weren't exactly allies either. And, there were still those mysterious creatures lurking all about the floor, seemingly content on watching than anything else. But, perhaps whats more, there was nothing Shisi could do with the most prevalent threat; that of Godzilla toppling the building. There was simply too big of a difference in scale; there was nothing a lone soldier could do against an army. Or Godzilla.

But Shisi knew someone who could. Probably. Maybe.

Running over to where Sophia had left Izumi, Shisi gave the magician a quick look over. Well, he looked in one piece, despite the blood, and Sophia had used her magic on him. But, more importantly, he was the only here, aside from Saigyouji, that might be able to deal with that gigantic beast.

"Can you stand!" the phrase was worded like a question, but was anything but. With whatever authority was vested in him, Shisi was practically commanding the witch to stand. His eye briefly falling to the floor beside Izumi. It took the undead but a brief moment to pick out the peculiar cube-like object held by Izumi. The black shape that discharged that rainbow.

Carefully, Shisi picked up the mini hakkero, so as to not discharge a beam of energy into his face, and held it towards Izumi.

"You're not done yet, yes?"
As they arrived at their stop, Xie would be the first to relinquish his "seat" on Eva. The ride lived up to expectations, it was about as comfortable as riding a broken tricycle over a wasteland. Well, at least nothing bad came out of it, aside from a sore backside. However, Xie was definitively one to look a gift horse in the mouth.

And what he saw as he got off the Eva-mobile wasn't something pleasant either.

"Great, now we have religious sects," Xie remarked distastefully, observing the mob that circled the pillar of light. A true opiate for the masses, eh? However, the scorn in Xie's voice was just an edge sharper than normal.

"No doubt they're all fanatics as well." Well, that was very likely, considering what was happening around them. Perhaps they should target with, as some would say it, extreme prejudice? Go in guns blazing? After all, in times of war, regular legislation would be relatively nulled. Or, perhaps that was just in some countries. In the middle east, such things meant even less. Where would there god be then?

Well, in any case, at least they could now see the source of the light. Some altar or something. Not the least bit foreboding, or hinting at sacrilegious. Xie smirked at the thought. With that, the Alchemist walked after Eva, making a near bee-line for the table. He barely gave a glance to the priests and angels. If they were illusions, he need not to. If they were real and non hostile, the table would be decimated before they could even utter a prayer. And if they were hostile, well, there was a reason Xie was sticking close to the battle android.

"Well look at that!" Lavender remarked as the pillar of light loomed closer into view as the group approached it, and as it turned out said pillar appeared to be really shaped like a cross, and apparently some religious nutjobs had already formed a cult around it, judging from their priestly garments that looked like they'd taken notes from either Christian clergy... or Catholic... or rather an erratic mishmash of different denominations. But of greater concern to the aeromancer were what appeared to be angels in battle armor accompanying the robed cultists. Were they real? Or an illusion? Either way, Lavender wasn't about to risk a confrontational approach with this group that could potentially turn violent.

The aeromancer waited for Xie and Misora to disembark from Eva's flight pack before giving the group a nod and approached the group of worshippers with caution, keeping her weapons holstered - or in the case of her assault rifle - slung over her back to project an image of non-hostility. "I recommend a non-confrontational approach on this one, keep your weapons stowed if possible," Lavender called out to the rest of the group. "I think one of us could approach the group to see if we could negotiate with them, I'll have your backs covered - first sign of aggression from them and I come in guns blazing," the aeromancer proposed her plan on approaching the cultists or whatever they call themselves.

"I... I'll try..." Misora murmured as she stepped forward to catch up with Xie as the alchemist approached the table, though not without glancing back at Eva and Lavender to get some kind of reassurance that her back would be covered. "Excuse me... sirs and madams..." the half-zombie waved as she shuffled towards the priests and angels. "Could you please tell us what is going on here?" Misora asked, hoping to engage them in friendly conversation - trying her best to sound friendly in spite of her perpetual monotone, which at the same time also worked wonders to hide the girl's fear and mounting consternation.

"Let's see how this goes first," Lavender mused as she awaited the group's response to Xie and Misora's approach, faintly-glowing swirls lavender haze building up around the aeromancer as she began prepping her powers for any possible aggression.

Turning misery into meaningfulness!
Shirena chuckled at the girl's reaction to his ability. He really didn't notice just how...awesome it was until now, seeing the girl excited about it. She seemed very upbeat for just escaping death, which....really, is awesome. He nodded in response, before looking at the giant lizard that she punched in the face...as repeated, awesome. A plan was brewing in his head, but it was quickly interrupted by her dragging along and jumping into the sky, a cable getting caught on Shirena's leg, though not attached to anything. In order to keep the jumping girls momentum. "This is really cool!" He said, with a grin, before, much to hear surprise...

He was immediately launched down at the beast at intense speeds. His observant side kicking in, he burst forward, and grinned, preparing to deliver an explosive punch. He burst at the beast, collision coming closer...

BOOM!

He explosively punched the great beast in the side, before blasting back into the giant lizard, taking a good grip onto it, but damn near being pulled down by cable. He looked up at the girl who threw him, and nodded, with a grin.

"Oh come on, I just explained what I was doing! The big lizard was NOT part of the idea!" Abe clenched his fist in clear frustration as he realised the voice that boomed out from below, but was cut off as he shielded himself from the subsequent blast. Fortunately, with his position in the building, and his armour and all, Abe was able to ride things out long enough for the attack to cease, and instead he got to listen to the mad spirit - mad as he counted it anyway - call him out.
"AGAINST you damned witch! I bet if that man in the chamber is watching, he'll damn well know that you're trying to play against the rules of the game! Or are you still so full of it you can't even use a simple word like 'game'? GAAAAAAAAAME~" Using his connection to the holodeck emitters, he made his voice project out across the immediate area, so that all the students, and the spirit especially, could hear him loud and clear.

Of course, she wasn't the only thing to worry about here...
"I don't know much about giant lizard biology, being all that honest. My degrees were in neuroscience and computer engineering, not Kaiju mechanics." More to the point, Abe's didn't exactly ever need to study or worry about Godzilla - he was from Brazil, so wrong continent and wrong side of that continent. That said, the hand against his chin clearly meant he was thinking.
"If I had to guess... given his obsession with here, its likely the signals given off by my holo-emitters that are pissing it off, somehow. Maybe its brain isn't reacting well to it, or could be it has some sensitive hearing. Either way, it'd have to come off for it to calm down, so..." Abilio... raised his leg, and tried to kick Sophia clear off the building through the very window she had smashed open.

"Waste your time fighting him if you want! Because as long as I'm still here, then the show goes on!" It was... regrettable, that he'd inadvertently summoned as major and devastating a creature as Godzilla to its familiar roaming grounds, but who knew? Perhaps in a world where everyone had their choices available to them, this creature would never have existed. Or if it did, perhaps it would choose to live somewhere that humans couldn't pester it.
"And the longer this goes on, the better my odds of winning. And I can't afford to lose the GAAAAAAAAAAME!" He turned his head, and turned the volume up again, because yes, he really liked to rub it in with Saigyouji.

Well, elsewhere in Tokyo, Eva's scans revealed the truth that her eyes seemed to miss - whatever the field itself was made of, the energies that it had permeate the air, were concentrated at the baptismal font that the worshipers were... well, worshiping around. Which, aside of how strange that seemed, given it was baptising people and not an altar or anything of the sort, there was the matter of the energies that made it even stranger. It had... a surprisingly powerful core in fact, and there only so many ways on Earth, even as fantastical as this one, for a machine to generate so much power...
Whatever the case, Misora's attempts to open a dialogue, even as the group approached the font, did seem welcome.

"Ah, hello. We're... having a service. I think. Not sure where the angels came from, but brother Kai over there insisted that angel are there in mass all the time, so I guess he was right." A woman, slightly unsure but still rather chipper explained, gesturing for them to come forward.
"Do you uh... want to confess your sins? Join us in prayer? Or...?" It seemed that noone was really going to stop them from getting close to the 'font'. Or, if they actually dared to touch it, they would find it was actually some kind of technological device underneath - and the mere desire to see its true form would reveal it. There would be a keyboard and a few ways to plug in, though it didn't seem to come with an instruction manual...

Then again, pretty sure there wasn't a manual on fighting giant monsters, at least one available to the public. That didn't stop Shirena however as he attempted to punch Godzilla in the sides with an explosive, fiery blast!
...Which when one considers how Godzilla supposedly came to be, probably wasn't going to be as effective as one might hope.
It did make the massive monster pause, but merely to turn its attention to yet another creature that dared to threaten it, whatever effect they did or didn't have. Still, it wasn't trying to smash the Skytree anymore.

Now it tried to smash Shirena.

A clawed hand, easily greater in size and power than a bus, reached around to try and pluck the tiny human from its side, and cast it away. Should that fail, then Godzilla would do as any great beast did, and shake its form to try and fling off the boy, as well as anyone else who might still cling to its back. Whether it succeeded or failed, we'll have to see...
