Shad's cube obstructed the view and the path of the creature lurking in the dark hallway easily, thanks to its weight.
Whatever was on the other side didn't seem to appreciate the gesture, and could be heard roaring in disappointment.
After that, the tungsten barrier of shad began to move. Whoever was on the other side was pushing it! It moved slowly forward by a few centimeters, enough to begin to become visible from the door of the room.
Shad was certainly forced to step back a little, unless he was going to be pushed away anyway.

Suddenly, the metal barrier was no longer moved, and for a long second nothing could be heard.
Then, a loud noise could be heard, echoing through the walls, and a crack in the wall of the room opened.
Debris flew all around, and dust fell from the ceiling. The creature Shad slowed down moved the cube to free the wall, and never had any intention of breaking through it, instead opting for the weakest barrier. A second booming sound could be heard and the crack exploded in debris and dust shattered everywhere.
Culsu flew on the passage the group opened from the sewage system, coughing once and staring with a glimpse of surprise at the ceiling where small cracks were forming and more dust was pouring down.
"It looks like the ceiling wants to kiss the floor soon!"

After that second hit, the wall was pretty much crumbled already. A figure, muscular and fanged was looking through the crack.
It had yellow, squid like eyes and a row of spikes on its head, two poweful arms and a set of six tentacles were protruding from its back.
"Nalrusha was right, meddlesome humans would have come. I like your smell. I'll taste your flesh soon enough!"
Electricity ran through one of its tentacles, and a yellow sphere like the one threw earlier formed on its tip.
When the abomination stepped forward to enter the room, another big tentacle moved from the ground on the broken wall. Apparently, it had no legs, just another set of tentacles.

Culsu highlighted the urgency of their situation - with the structure above already in ruins, it was clear that whatever little remained of Paimon's library wasn't made to withstand a protracted battle. However, Jen kept quiet, choosing not to respond to Culsu so as not to give away her position to Nalrusha, or whatever it was that this new demon - presumably another lackey of the Mazikin - identified himself/herself/itself(?) as, eager to feast on some humans. In the darkness Jen could roughly make out Nalrusha's features; sharp fangs, yellow squid-like eyes, and a powerful, heavily-muscled humanoid upper torso with six pairs of tentacles protruding from its back.

"Looks like no Achilles tendon this time," Jen thought as the rest of Nalrusha made its way into the basement; in place of legs, this particular demon slithered about on giant tentacle that took the place of what should've been the lower torso and legs, in a serpentine manner not unlike the naga of Hindu/Buddhist lore, and with the tentacles on its back acting as extra "arms", it certainly wasn't hard for the girl to draw that parallel. Jen knew she would need to make this one quick - she wasn't about to risk bringing the roof down upon their heads by collapsing the structure with all their fighting.

"A-HA!" Nalrusha exclaimed at the sound of sudden rapping against the bookshelves courtesy of Kell, and spun around excitedly to face the apparent source of the noise, unleashing its projectile as it did so, the explosion obliterating furniture and books and sending tremors running through the basement. "Nalrusha likes his humans crispy outside, juicy inside!" the tentacled horror remarked as yellow arcs of electricity raced along its tentacles as it created another yellow energy sphere.

"And now," Jen thought as she seized the opportunity created by Kell's distraction to strike; darting out of cover to attack the demon from its rear flank. The aim was to slash at where the neck meets the collarbone - at least if it bears anatomical similarities to humans it would mean there should be some major blood vessels in that area - the carotid artery and jugular vein, namely. Like a panther stalking its prey, the girl would spring onto the demon's back to put the demon in a headlock with her free arm, while looking to drive her knife into its neck and ripping it out in a horizontal slashing motion.

Nalrusha gave vent to a ear-piercing shriek as Jen's blade plunged into its neck, although the purple-haired girl would realize that trying to cut through the demon's powerful neck muscles to get at its carotid artery was like cutting an overdone beef steak with a dull knife. "Wretch! Speck! You will suffer for your insolence! SUFFER!" Nalrusha roared as it thrashed about and whipped its tentacles around, throwing Jen off its back, with her knife still stuck in the demon's neck.

"Oof!" Jen grunted as she was thrown off the demon's back, although the girl rolled with her fall, just in time to watch Nalrusha raise the tentacles on its back menacingly, before going into a wild stabbing frenzy with its combat pseudopods, each one somehow possessing a sharp spear point capable of generating enough force to embed themselves in rock. "A little help here please!" Jen shouted as she rolled across the floor to narrowly avoid being skewered, although no sooner had she gotten back onto her feet would Nalrusha suddenly whip its lower body around in a swinging strike like an alligator swinging its tail like a club, the blow sending Jen flying backwards and smashing into a bookcase!

"Hurensohn..." Jen muttered; she'd relaxed her body the moment when impact seemed imminent, using the same principle that allowed drunk drivers to survive horrific car crashes, and a relaxed human body could withstand surprisingly massive impacts. The purple-haired girl was certain that she hadn't broken any bones, but the blow nonetheless left her winded and dazed, and for the time being unable to move or defend herself unless one of her allies intervened!

ZEHAHAHA!!
"Aw, fuck." That shot nearly got her, but she had rolled away in time. Kell wanted to kill the damned thing right away, before it grazed her with a lucky shot. And by God, luck was not something on the wrestler's side. Nothing on its body she could grapple without dying, so only her wooden arm and speed could deliver her to victory. Just as usual, huh?

Of course, her thoughts on her luck being trash were dispelled almost immediately by Jen's attack. Jeez, that was some good knife handling there. Of course, it seemed like it was the mechanic's turn to suffer from some bad luck as she couldn't cut through the demon's blood vessels. As it concentrated on his new target, Kell ran up closer. Those tentacles would tear her apart easily, but she had the benefit of surprise right now.

That is, until her ally was slammed against a bookshelf. She had a good chance to kill the demon outright, but it could only come when he was focused on the killing blow. And as fast as Kell was, she wasn't anywhere near fast enough to stop it halfway through its attack. What did she care more about, getting the glory or protecting Jen?

The question was answered immediately as she splashed Nalrusha with the sap from her arm, elicting a pained roar from the beast-like creature. If she had delayed even a second longer by jumping on its back, the monster would've struck already and the group would be down to 2 people. For that, she would pay dearly.

"Nalrusha believes this belongs to you!" The demon roared as it pulled the knife from its neck and flung it at Kell. She managed to deflect it with her wooden arm, but the demon shot a single tentacle at the limb, seeking to tear right through it.

That was a big mistake.

The tentacle managed to pierce into the arm, but it didn't even get halfway before Nalrusha was forced to retract it from the searing pain. Unfortunately for the demon, the burning sap on its back and tentacle didn't stop, but continued to melt away at its flesh even as Nalrusha began to claw at his wounds.

Kell fell back towards her dazed ally, clutching her damaged arm as she grit her teeth.

"Jen, you alright?" She called out. It was Shad's turn to get something done while she attended to the mechanic. If he didn't cover them, she'd be so pissed.

(OOC: Keep in mind, it's a wee bit gory. I kept the description of the carnage PG-13 unless you want full details.)

Blam! Blam! The rifle's shots echoed throughout the halls as the bullets hit the back of the rather ugly demon, as Shad had taken up a position close to the cube, aiming to disable or at least wound the being. However, the demon merely grunted, yawning it off as if Shad had jabbed it with pencils.

"Tch, guy has some thick exoskeleton. And for the record, we're not meddling! You guys got us involved." He muttered, just as the demon turned to face him, ignoring the other two for the time being since Shad had a rifle that could pierce his hide.

"Annoying, little brat." The demon hissed, slivering over to the size mage awhile trying to prevent the sap from melting his tentacles. "Who are you to own one of our weapons? You stole it didn't you, stupid human. Ugly, pathetic human. Can't even hit the head, you worthless scum." With a swing of his unmelted tentacles, he slapped the rifle out of Shad's hands to the farthest wall just before Shad was about to fire again, then grabbed him upwards several feet by the robe collar against the steel cube. "Nalrusha will peel your skin off since you smell a lot better than those two...a bath perhaps?"

"Errrr.....kind of. I don't suppose you'd be in the mood to tell me about your boss and organization, huh?" A muscular fist slammed into Shad's face as he asked the question, followed by another one, as Nalrusha howled gleefully plummeling the young boy in a state of pure, unadultrated carnage, beating Shad black and blue several times over with fists, tentacles and some more insults for a few minutes before momentarily stopping to rub his claws since they were starting to smart striking Shad's body over and over despite Shad not even whimpering or screaming for mercy.

"Nalrusha is puzzled, are you not hurt or anything?" The demon growled, despite his own wounds really starting to get to him. The need to beat Shad silly was wearing down his adrenaline, and he may need medical help soon to patch up his neck. "Perhaps Nalrusha should finish this."

"Yes...." Shad croaked with a rather crooked jaw and a glaring purple eye, as both of his hands began to glow in unison, "Let's finish it." With a deep breath, he sped up the enchantment spell to launch it quickly under his breath. "Enlargement. Target: .222 Makazin Special Rifle Bullet. Original size:.5" W, 2" H, 7/16" L. . Change to 5' W, 4" L, 6"H."

At that sort of range, there was no time to dodge as Shad fired the beams directly into the demon's chest, in which the bullets (which didn't fragment inside his body) suddenly 'exploded' in size, basically doing what a cannonball does to a watermelon when dropped on it suddenly. In other words, it was a wee bit like Alien, but with a rather large bullet bursting out of the chest and expanding in width to tear the demon apart limb from limb.

Shad fell backwards as the tentacle released him and slid down the wall with blood oozing down his face, sore, bruised but glad that the demon was suffering a far worse fate than death. "And that....is why I hate most demons." He chuckled, too sore to move at the moment. "Oi, Professor Paimon! If you're there, it's safe to come out now! That demon guy is dead!"

Obviously, no answer came from Paimon.

"Eww, stinky!"
Was Culsu's only comment at the scene: she then gave a quick glance at her clothes, and found them miracolously clean. A mix between satisfaction and confusion appeared on her face.
"Stinky guts everywhere? Not on Culsu?"

The demon brought her hands on her nose. A strong smell was everywhere, probably emanated from the insides of the creature that named itself Nalrusha.
The smell was strong enough that even Jen could feel it through her mask, albeit faintly.
Culsu shook her head and was moving backwards, toward the crack in the wall.
"Culsu is confused" she stated, a note of alarm in her voice.
The green haired demon raised her hands forward, like she wanted to shield herself.
"Confusion is a form of order Culsu doesn't understand!"
Just what was causing the demon to behave like that?

In the room, aside from the stinky remains of the demon there was nothing, except for the three humans and lots of books, right?

Not quite.

As Jen snapped out of confusion, her eyes could clearly see a completely different scene.
The tentacular Nalrusha wasn't splattered all over the room at all. Not even Shad was that hurt like he though he was.
That certainly was the reason why the size mage was able to endure such a beating from a supernatural monster: he never really received it, and never really hit a metal object with his magic.

Narlusha was still alive inside the room, and had Jen's knife on his hand, just a faint trail of blood on his neck.
He was laughing and his squid like eyes were all on Jen.
"It's a pity your mask protects you from my miasma. Nalrusha will simply rip it out of your face and watch as you'll kill each other believing in the collective allucination your mind will create!"

The demon moved toward Jen, rising her knife high to strike the only person that resisted his powers thanks to a gas mask.

"Nothing broken, Kell," Jen remarked as Kell approached her, the purple-haired girl grabbing nearby shelves to prop herself up as she got to her feet, just in time to witness a heroic intervention by Shad that ended with the demon being killed in a spectacularly gruesome fashion, and leaving behind demon chunks and a really nasty smell - so bad, that even Jen could catch some of it through her gas mask. "Do the monstrous-looking ones always smell that bad when they die!?" the purple-haired girl exclaimed, shaking her head in disgust.

"Wait... what?" And then Jen blinked, and there still stood Nalrusha, and her comrades were nearby, seemingly confused. The demon was far from splattered all over the library. No, it was in fact very much in one piece save for that stab wound that Jen had dealt to its neck, though judging from its reactions said wound was little more than a mild annoyance. "Ah, Miasma... that explains it," the purple-haired girl mused as Nalrusha pointed out how her gas mask had shielded her from the demon's miasma.

"Just bring it," the purple-haired girl hissed defiantly as the demon announced its intention to remove her gas mask before attempting to slay her with her own weapon. As Nalrusha lunged forward in an attempt to perform a stabbing attack with the knife held in an icepick grip, the purple-haired girl would perform an evasive maneuver by turning her body sideways to allow the stab to miss her, and due to the demon's own momentum causing it to be thrown off-balance, Jen would proceed to capitalize by whipping out a can of sanitizing spray and proceed to discharge its primarily alcohol-based contents into Nalrusha's face.

"GAH! Nalrusha's eyes!" the demon dropped the girl's knife to throw its hands over its face as the aerosol spray stung its eyes something fierce, while the tentacles on its back flailed wildly, in order to deter Jen from attacking while it was blinded, and hopefully to score a lucky hit.

"See you later, alligator!" Jen remarked as she threw herself to the floor to avoid the demon's enraged swipes, retrieving her weapon before rolling across the floor to take cover behind a pillar.

"You must think Nalrusha must be pretty mad, spraying Nalrusha in the face and all..." the demon snarled as its sight gradually returned, now slowly slithering past rows of bookcases to hunt for the purple-haired gadgeteer. "But on the contrary, Nalrusha is a very forgiving demon," it continued mockingly. "Just be a good human, and come out to face Nalrusha, and you may get the mercy of a swift death. Maybe... your friends can't help you, human. So you can do this the easy way, or the hard way..." the demon growled gutturally as a deadly game of hide-and-seek was on.

"Kell~"

Wha- Was that Cariot? Kell looked around, her face a mix of annoyance and relieved delight. Shit, where was she? She had missed the blob a lot, even though they had only been separated for a few hours. Damn it. Damn it all.

"Kell, listen to me. I'm not appearing to you because of the demon's miasma. He's not dead. He's aliiiive. And invisible to you because you're in an illusion. Not the illusion of casuality or real life, but the demonic sort of illusion."

A plausible explanation. If he could control it, he would not want to clue Kell into its existence. But then....

"For a while. No, you didn't actually manage to hurt him yet."

Fuck's sake. That Nalrusha was a crafty bastard. So, what should she do? "Attack to the right!" Kell complied, only to punch a bookshelf. Ow. OW.

"As soon as Nalrusha finds you, you're dead meat, female human!"
The demon's tentacles flailed around like crazy as his arms were on the face, in an attempt to clean it and his eyes from the spray.
It seemed like some sort of desperate attempt at protecting himself from harm than anything else.
Nontheless, the chair of the room went crushed by their random flailing around.
"You're dead meat!" he shouted when he was finally able to see again.

Apparently, that loss of control was enough to weaken Nalrusha's miasma, whose effect were probably amplified by some of his powers.
Shad and Kell's senses could now see something like a blur between the illusion casted on them, and reality. To them, the real Nalrusha now appeared like an out of focus, semi transparent ghost flailing tentacles around.
In addition to that, the size mace could be very well aware that his injuries weren't real.

Unable to see well, the only figure that somewhat stood out to Nalrusha's eyes was the green dressed culsu, standing in the passage of the broken wall.
"Nalrusha will kill you!"
The monster threw a whip-like tentacle with all his strength toward the demon of the gates, an attack that never arrived: Culsu gasped in apparent panic, shielding her face with her left arm, but raising her right one in front of her. A rippling portal appeared, as the tentacle swept through it.
the exit of the portal opened itself right behind Nalrusha, and his own tentacle swept him on his back.
Nalrusha roared in pain as a red line on his back appeared where the appendage hit.
"Culsu is sorry!" the demon excused herself, waving her arms in panic "C-Culsu meant no harm!"

Certainly it was no time to wonder if she did that on purpose, but if the green Culsu was acting, she was one hell of an actress, looking really panicked.

The demon's angry ravings about the things it would do to Jen were met with nothing but silence as the girl maneuvered around the library with the silent grace of a cat, never staying behind the same cover for long as she kept on the move to frustrate Nalrusha's attempts to locate her. What the purple-haired girl needed was either to drag out the encounter until the effects of the demon's miasma on her friends wore off, or for the demon to expose another of its weaknesses for the girl to exploit.

Which suited her fine - patience was afterall Jen's strong suit, and all she needed was for the demon to make a fatal mistake, and she would turn the hunter into the hunted. Reaching into her backpack, the purple-haired girl removed a small lunch box - which looked like an innocuous food container if it weren't for a black pager duct taped to it with wires going into the box, its red LED blinking ominously. It was one of her favorite gadgets - inspired by the Bottlecap Mine from Fallout 3; it consisted of a lunchbox containing a couple dozen arcade tokens and a homemade black powder charge.

Except that Jen took the concept a step further, instead of relying on a proximity sensor to trigger the mine, the girl instead utilized a microwave-based receiver, allowing the device to be set off remotely on command with the right signal, essentially building a homemade claymore mine. Nestling the mine on a bookshelf between columns of books and securing it with some duct tape, the purple-haired girl would put into motion her plan to take down the demon with a cunning move.

As Culsu provided Nalrusha with a much-needed distraction, Jen figured it was time for her to act. "I thought you missed me? Here I am!" Jen shouted as she darted out from behind a pillar, waving at the demon to catch its attention. "Did I ever mention how hot you are? I mean look, you just gave my right hand a raging boner!" And with that Jen would flip Nalrusha the bird with her right hand.

"Nalrusha has had ENOUGH of your mockery!" the demon roared as it raised the tail end of its serpentine body and brought it down forcefully, sending cracks through the flooring as it did. Slithering towards Jen, the demon would charge up another energy bolt to fire at the purple-haired girl, who managed to duck it by the skin of her teeth.

"Close, but no banana!" Jen taunted as she broke into a run, but making no attempt to hide this time, instead ending up getting cornered between two rows of bookshelves with a pillar behind her. "Uh-oh, looks like you got me good this time!"

"End of the line," Nalrusha chuckled, rubbing his hands together gleefully, the tentacles at his back squirming wildly before raising them like spears, aimed at Jen. "Any last words before I make a human shishkebab out of your innards?"

"Yep, I just need to make a call," Jen remarked as she removed an old basic-type cellphone from her pocket, her eyes momentarily darting towards the bookshelf to Nalrusha's right - a single red LED blinking in the darkness.

"Make it quick," the demon rumbled, stroking its chin.

"Yes, got it," the purple-haired girl smirked as she dialed the pager's number on her cellphone; thanks to her gas mask concealing her face, it also provided another boon of making it hard to read the girl's expressions, thus adding a challenge factor to trying to guess her ideas. As Jen "paged" her homemade claymore mine, the device would begin beeping, the display window lighting up to show the purple-haired girl's phone number.

"Hmm?" Nalrusha wondered, momentarily distracted by the sudden noise as the demon's gaze shifted over to the apparent source of the noise... to notice something that wasn't there before. "OH SH-"

"Everybody down!" Jen shouted as she threw herself to the ground at the same time Nalrusha threw his arms and tentacles over its head in an attempt to duck away just a fraction of a second before the modified pager, activated by Jen's "call", send an electrical pulse that detonated the black powder charge. In a space of milliseconds, the lunchbox's lid ruptured from the explosion, sending forth a hail of screaming metal at supersonic velocities!

"Gah! What the?" Shad's injuries suddenly healed up in a instant, partly shocking and pressing himself against the wall holding his arm. His eyes narrowed angrily, just now realizing what had transpired against him. "Illusions...one of my most annoying weaknesses. Master never did teach me how to break one, but at least it's kinda gone now-" He then saw Nalrusha give chase despite it being rather blurry, slowly crawling along the ground on all fours awhile swapping the rifle for his ring.

A few minutes later, Jen called out for everyone to duck, as Shad was low enough to allow the sharp metal shards to pass over him as well as shred the books to pieces. His eyes teared in sorrow seeing all the torn pages, boundless knowledge and information, now forever lost to him. "I will...avenge you." He whispered, getting back up to his feet and walked around the pillar past Jen in a rather ticked mood.

The tentacles and arms were severely torn up, barely even attached by a few stray muscle strands and bone, his head wheezing fiercely due to a lone piece of metal puncturing his windpipe, and of course, the blood lost was not important at all to him. If anything, this jerk deserved what he got, as Shad chanted with ring in hand. "Enlargement. Target: Semi-tungsten ring. Original size: W 3", L 1", H .25". Changed to W 5", L 2", H 6'." With that said, Shad raised the now very large and thick steel pipe over his head before slamming it hard and fast down upon the currently wounded Nalrusha's left shoulder to deal severe pain upon him for trying to trick Shad.

"Shit. Demon scum, I'll put the fear of God in you yet." Kell spat on the floor, then started climbing up on one of the bookshelves. Halfway up, she spotted a blinking red LED in the dark. She immediately came to two conclusions. One, that had to have been Jen. Two, it was probably an improvised explosive she was holding.

Damn it. Kell knew that the mechanic was dangerous, but she had no idea that Jen's talents ran that far. She dropped down silently, ducking behind the bookshelf until the inevitable explosion came. Huh. Phone bomb. That was going to be a real topic of nightmares for the next little while.

In the meanwhile, she pulled out the flashlight that Jen dropped earlier and flicked it on for just a second. Alright, still working. She poked her head back out of cover and shone in the direction of the explosion for a brief second. Oh, fuck. From the back, she saw something that she really hated.

Nalrusha was slowly regenerating, the shard popping out of its throat as it looked balefully down at its prey. It roared as Shad caught it across its still-healing shoulder with the enlarged steel bar, but grabbed onto it and tore it out of his hands as the demon advanced on the mage. Kell had to move in quickly. She didn't really quite care what happened in the next few seconds, as long as she got her shot in.

"NALRUSHA WILL MAKE BURGER OUT OF YOU, PUNY HUMAN!"

It brought down the steel pipe, swinging with absurd strength despite its wounds. The luchadora could only scrape across its back with her holy sap infused touch, bringing a screech of pain that echoed through the library even as it continued its attack against Shad.

When Jen's bomb detonated, Culsu's eyes widened in shock and surprise.
Sharp debris flew in almost every direction, but a large part of them fell on Nalrusha's body, which indirectly shielded her.

With something that could be considered an inhuman feat, akin to the sudden movement a snake was able to do, Culsu stepped aside, tilting herself slightly on the side and keeping a palm open in front of her.
For a very brief instant, a very focused expression appeared on her, her teeths visible behind her contracted lips for some sort of effort.
Shards, shockwave and dust all faded in front of her. Suddenly, a scared like hell face re-emerged on the green haired demon, that sighed in relief and giggled histerically
"Culsu doesn't like friendly fire! Please don't do that again! Shards really hurt Culsu's skin! Culsu likes her skin smooth!"

With a shriek of pain that echoed through the rooms and the hallways of the lower floors of Dis's library, Nalrusha flailed his arms in the attempt to reach the horribly painful injury he received.
The tentacular demon let its grip on the steel bar, which flew away on the ground, tingling.

Whatever trace of Nalrusha's miasma had now completely faded, as pain began to be unbearable and he lost the focus needed to maintain it.
"It burns! It burns like hundred fires!"
Kell's strike with her enchanted arm appeared to be very effective, and his flesh was literally steaming, appearing like it melted where it was touched.
"Nalrusha...has to hide! Nalrusha has to survive!"
The demon suddenly abandoned every murderous intent, and found itself eager to leave, quckly crawling away. He moved in desperation, and toward the hallway, in a probably vain attempt to save himself.
"Nalrusha has to live!" he repeated as he was already leaving the room, blood flowing from the wound he received from Kell's holy arm.

"Oh... ouch..." Jen patted her head a few times to try to get rid of that nasty ringing in her ears, thanks to detonating explosives so close to her. "I got two words to say to you, Baldrick. CHA-CHING!" The purple-haired girl was pleased to see that her weapon did a number on the demon. It didn't kill him, but given its crippled limbs, it would mean finishing off their foe should be a simple matter.

The purple-haired girl's elation was short-lived, as under the illumination provided by Kell it was revealed that their demonic adversary was regenerating from its wounds - if they don't act fast, they risked losing their advantage and golden opportunity!

"I'm sorry about this Culsu-san," Jen apologized to the green-clad demoness, who nearly ended up being caught in the blast, although she'd managed to escape unharmed due to Nalrusha's body being in the way and soaking up the rain of shrapnel. And with Kell on the attack and wounding the demon - for some reason her attacks were super-effective!

"Oi, if that bastard gets away he's gonna heal and come back for us!" Jen shouted to the others as the injured Nalrusha tries to slink away from combat. "Jeez, what did you use on him anyway Kell-san? Whatever that was, it certainly seemed to be super-effective considering he still kept coming after being maimed by a hail of shrapnel, but a single strike from you had him running scared!"

"OH NO YOU DON'T!" Jen shouted as she made a sprint after the wounded demon, before performing a flying tackle from behind, latching onto the demon's upper torso and wrapping her arm around its neck in a sleeper hold.

"Human trash! Get off Nalrusha!" the demon roared as it trashed and bucked; despite Nalrusha's supernatural strength and thick hide, as it turns outs when isolated the neck was still a relatively fragile area in the demon's anatomy - and the sleeper hold; also known as the rear naked choke, seeks to exploit said weakness! And of course, not to mention Nalrusha was still regenerating his limbs, which restricted his ability to fight back, though the demon was nevertheless resisting with all its might!

"It's now or never, guys! I don't think I can hang on for long!" Jen shouted for her companions to take swift action as she hung on for dear life on Nalrusha's back, the demon gasping and gagging as it continued to flail about wildly; while the demon could regenerate flesh wounds and missing limbs, as it turns out like most creatures with a vascular system it still needed to get blood to its brain to live!

Yes! This arm was good for something, after all! Nalrusha was running scared, and they were in the final stretch. Time to finish him off before he got away. It seemed like the mechanic was finally asking her a relevant question, so the wrestler puffed up proudly as she responded.

"My left arm's made of holy wood! Against demons, this thing will scorch 'em like they're made of gasoline soaked rags!" She boasted. Of course, just as she responded, she was interrupted by one of the least sane things she had seen in a while. Despite being real close to the blast and a little off-kilter, the purple haired mechanic was running after the demon and even trying to choke him out!

"Jen, you're friggin' crazy! I LIKE YOU!" Kell yelled, half-laughing as she started running towards Nalrusha. "I'll put you under, demon scum!"

"Nalrusha refuses to die! I will flatten you and get away!" The tentacles of the beast tried to catch the wrestler, but she managed to slip past them and leap into the air with her wooden hand seeking to grasp the demon's face. "Oof!" Shad grunted, getting sent flying backwards and backward somersaulting from the first swing, somewhat dizzy for a few seconds afterword. His body ached somewhat from the pain inflicted, but thankfully the pipe wasn't made of pure tungsten but a mixture of light metals including tungsten. "Technically I'm more of a tofu person than a burger in the Netherworld. Hmm?"

He eyed something shiny on the floor next to him in the shadow of the bookshelf, which he snatched up to examine. "Huh, it landed here. Neat." He slowly got back up to his feet, brushing the dust and miasma off his robes awhile summong mana into his left hand. In his other hand was the toothpick he dropped earlier, which he drew back and aimed carefully at the open wound in the demon's chest. "Oi, miss Jen! Heads up! "Enlargement. Target: Wooden Toothpick. Original size: 1/8" W, 1/8" H, 3" L. . Change to 5' W, 5' L, 6' H." With that said, he launched the glowing toothpick directly at the wound awhile firing off the beam, in which as the demon turned trying to dislodge Jen, he felt a slight tingling in his ribcage, just as the beam struck him dead-on.

"Nalrusha feels....funny." The demon groaned, about to be torn apart in a senseless, gruesome fashion by the sudden large 'tree' that was about to grow in his chest.
