Personality Description:

His spirit is one of fire, seemingly always ambitious and wanting adventure. He's a professional fighter, very competitive in nature. Most genera jock-likel extrovert personality traits apply for this young chinese boy; confidence nearly overdone, a lackluster yet intriguing(bothersome) approach/way of talking, etc . His heart is one of indecisiveness however, the one drawback and almost balancing point on the scale of his alignment.

He's more along the lines of the cool guy that words and badgering anger floats right over; there is very little change of anyone getting under his skin, unless they've tried to do something personally. He never turns down a challenge, always willing to do combat especially.

Personal History

Upbringing

Chang Lee, a young boy originally from Hong Kong, China. His life has had quite the number of twist and turns since his birth, none being too positive an outcome in the long run. His parents had passed before he'd gotten to the age of eight; a combination of bad age-timing birthing effects and other things of the like eventually draining them. This confused such a young child, someone who had no just become so accustomed in life up until that point with the mundane patterns that kept him happy.. enjoying daily lunches, going out with his family, circus's , amusement parks, buying toys.. all of the wonderful things not only Chang should've know, but any child were now gone from him around that period of time.

His life wasn't spiraling out of control in reality, just mentally. His family swarmed him with attention; he instantly moved into his Grandparents house after their lovely daughter being the last to pass within that same year. His Grand Father was a Jeet Kune Do Master in Hong Kong named Bao Leng. The family had discussed it over many times while trying to keep Chang preoccupied with his current schooling and daily life rather than thoughts of dead relatives.

They had came to a decision around the his eighth birthday, one that would supposedly be a grand addition to the young boys life. After all, not only would he be doing something constructive, but he'd be learning principals towards life.

Pre-Hyakuji

Up until the age of thirteen, Chang had known nothing short of a great life after his parents abrupt deaths. He not only became more comfortable with their passing through spending time with not only his Grand Father, Master, but went to visit their graves occasionally. His family continued to give him much attention, and his crowd of friends had grown quite strong. He stood out, becoming more attentive to appearance among the public; this is what began making him become a little more mixed in with what the real world can do to a young man.

Through his growing confidence, when the boy who had began competing at the age of eleven reached thirteen he began to overlook others. He foresaw things he perceived as absolute at times, obnoxious traits that began to cause problems within his home. It wasn't as if he was actually changing and ignoring his Grandparents, yet the social media World subconsciously made it so. With the stress between these things, he began acting out in school; fighting other students and even getting juvenile detention. That was minor however, there were numerous cases arising from just him going out in which him brawling with grow men would get him charges.

After a case in which legally Chang's hands had been labeled weapons to save his hide from indictment due to him being involved in situations way too big for his age in the first place, his family began to worry more. His Grand Father had been the closest to the young cursed soul, feeling that he had to be the one to make a decision beneficial before hope was lost for Chang's future.

There wasn't many choices left.

Hyakuji

Chang arrived at Hyakuji around the age of Fourteen reluctantly, moving to Japan by the hand of his entire family. His Grandparents had actually decided to pick up and settle in Japan for the rest of their days, as they couldn't bare seeing Chang's life go to waste from a life built crudely in China. He was starting over to an extent, joining a new competitive World of Martial Arts, entering a new school, but feeling not a bit different.

If anything, he felt a tad worse. His Grand Father made it a point to be more stern, the worry of his Wife being agitate and stressed with the problems caused by Chang's actions could not present themselves any longer, he would see to that. He was previously retired before the move, just with less extra-time on to set upon his grandson; with a new home, he had a completely new schedule.

He trains Chang thoroughly, trying to keep his nature about Jeet Kune do and life steady with one another. His parents may have passed, but his family didn't want him thinking that meant his life had fallen in meaning. It was a shame that the fire happened that day, but there child was still alive luckily being babysat by those who sought his care at the eldest ages of eighty five and seven, it was destiny for them to raise him in a sense.

His school work stands as remarkable, he's never known the life of a sloth a day of his life thanks to his upbringing and way of JKD living. Whenever he's not doing schoolwork he's training and vice verse. Being a Junior, he feels preparation for real life began for him years ago with his current level of maturity; with this, his Grand Parents are happily funding him for everything he wants, be it for his sponsorship(oh yeah, they sponsor him) or personal use. They do this due to him saving from portions of tournament earnings after cuts have been made.

JEET KUNE DO

Jeet Kune Do (also "Jeet Kun Do", or simply "JKD") is an eclectic/hybrid system and philosophy of life founded by martial artist Bruce Lee with a simple, direct (or straightforward movements) and non-classical style. Due to the way his style works, Jeet Kune Do practitioners believe in minimal movement with maximum effect and extreme speed. The system works on the use of different 'tools' for different situations. These situations are broken down into ranges (kicking, punching, trapping and grappling), with techniques flowing smoothly between them. It is referred to as a "style without style" or "the art of fighting without fighting" as said by Lee himself. Unlike more traditional martial arts, Jeet Kune Do is not fixed or patterned, and is a philosophy with guiding thoughts. It was named for the concept of interception, or attacking your opponent while he is about to attack. However, the name Jeet Kune Do was often said by Lee to be just a name. He himself often referred to it as "The art of expressing the human body" in his writings and in interviews. Through his studies Lee came to believe that styles had become too rigid, and unrealistic. He called martial art competitions of the day "Dry land swimming". He believed that combat was spontaneous, and that a martial artist cannot predict it, only react to it, and that a good martial artist should "Be like water" and move fluidly without hesitation. In 2004, the Bruce Lee Foundation decided to use the name Jun Fan Jeet Kune Do (振藩截拳道) to refer to the martial arts system that Lee founded. "Jun Fan" was Lee's Chinese given name.

::LEE'S PHILOSOPHY::

Jeet Kune Do (JKD) is the name Lee gave to his combat system and philosophy. Originally, when Lee began researching various fighting styles, he gave his martial art his own name of Jun Fan Gung Fu. However not wanting to create another style that would share the limitations that all styles have, he instead described the process that he used to create it:
I have not invented a "new style," composite, modified or otherwise that is set within distinct form as apart from "this" method or "that" method. On the contrary, I hope to free my followers from clinging to styles, patterns, or molds. Remember that Jeet Kune Do is merely a name used, a mirror in which to see "ourselves". . . Jeet Kune Do is not an organized institution that one can be a member of. Either you understand or you don't, and that is that.

There is no mystery about my style. My movements are simple, direct and non-classical. The extraordinary part of it lies in its simplicity. Every movement in Jeet Kune-Do is being so of itself. There is nothing artificial about it. I always believe that the easy way is the right way. Jeet Kune-Do is simply the direct expression of one's feelings with the minimum of movements and energy. The closer to the true way of Kung Fu, the less wastage of expression there is. Finally, a Jeet Kune Do man who says Jeet Kune Do is exclusively Jeet Kune Do is simply not with it. He is still hung up on his self-closing resistance, in this case anchored down to reactionary pattern, and naturally is still bound by another modified pattern and can move within its limits. He has not digested the simple fact that truth exists outside all molds; pattern and awareness is never exclusive. Again let me remind you Jeet Kune Do is just a name used, a boat to get one across, and once across it is to be discarded and not to be carried on one's back.

TECHNIQUES/PRINCIPALS

Doragon Bodi

Dragon Body is passive, and nothing more than the understanding of his physical training and its results. From lifting incredibly large weights to other insane methods of advancement, his body has far surpassed the standards for a human being. Speed, strength, endurance, stamina, and reflexive abilities are very high, expected of someone who's been training within Martial Arts all of their life. The body moves as water. The body is a weapon. He has immense speed and physical strength, seeing as how things like hitting boulders and eventually breaking them became practice for him. He has other practices mentioned previously to mimic the same level of this achievement exampled.

The body is all.

Hanmā

Hammer is an active technique/skill that revolves around a more advance, almost super natural practice personally of Chang. With an inner ki/energy, he is able to reinforce his fiercely quick attacks with transparent burst of ki. This burst of ki work as 'pillows' of damage between an opponent and the user, as the users body part in use will have ki resonating around the momentum of their strike. This is useful for various reasons defensively and offensively, making it a main principle of his way of the Dragon. He can intercept physical attacks ranging from weapons to fisticuffs, and even some projectile attacks with this ki enforced attacks. This attack actually works to the point in which if it hits directly, its at
full effect, but can indirectly strike an opponent with the ki resonating around the active attacking limb. If his opponent is at least a one foot within range of the initial hit, you'll feel damage from the passing pressure of the small ki wave that came with the hit.

Adorenarin

Adrenaline works as not even a technique per say, but more along the lines of combative ability booster triggered by more natural means than trained techniques/skills. Naturally as time go's on throughout a battle, he will become more excited with the fight whether he be in control or not. It is unlikely, but more desired for him to want a losing fight, as the more tattered and beaten he becomes, the more he could feel the blood pumping for the competition. After the The Chang reaches a certain level of damage; at least being hit 5 times by any amount of damage, He's a hot head, but it's rare that it's instinctively used to amplify attack speed and power further. This is only a momentarily lasting ability however, going for four post after activation with a 3 post cool down. With his body already having natural enhancements through sheer brutal practice and dedication to the meaning of 'hard work', it could be estimated his speed and strength are amplified times at least two while this is in use.
