I got a PHD in KICKING YOUR ASS!
|
The air was still and there seemed to be nothing but peace and quiet in the forest. When the occasional leaf fell from a treetop, it would simply drop gently, slowly, as if it had decided to just let go and come down to the grassy earth below, waving, sometimes spinning, but most of all seemingly floating lazily for a long time until it finally reached the ground. There was no sound... none. No birds chirping, no branches waving in the wind, for there was none. If a person decided to walk by the only sound he/she would hear would be his/her own breathing and footsteps, which would not even echo in the empty woods. At the center of the clearing, holding a fan in one hand and resting the other on the wakizashi secured to his belt, a tall white-haired man stood, atop a large boulder, looking up to the blue sky with a rather pleasant smile on his face. His garments seemed old and tattered and looking closely at them you could probably tell that sometime in the distant past they used to be white. It was a rather old kimono, the kind used for ritual suicide or 'seppuku' centuries ago. It was time for the new members of the newly-created 'Martial Arts Club' -as they liked to call it- to arrive, and Master Yun, head of the Black Lotus, though standing right there, seemed quite distracted and immersed in his own thoughts. When the students started to come inside the clearing, he didn't seem to notice at all...

Look at his little dance

Erin Sansai arrived at the first meeting of the Martial Arts Club. He'd never done any real fighting besides a few brawls with classmates and crewmates. He was more than willing to learn how to fight properly though. It'd probably help him in the long run. And in any case it was something to do for a while, and it might even be fun. He hoped he'd do well in this. He saw the master. For some reason he felt somewhat afraid of him. He certainly didn't have any reason to. It wasn't like the master was likely to strike him down or anything. Maybe he was just strong. Thinking on it he wasn't certain if this guy was the leader of the martial arts club. "Hello sir." said Erin as he entered the clearing with a bow. The master wasn't really paying attention, but it was still polite. |

The Devil Pig is here!
|
Walking into yet another clearing with the flyer in hand, Trystan glanced around him. The heavily forested area reminded him greatly of the bamboo forests in which he and Laoshi used to train in. Quiet and overwhelming, the darkness at night was such that one could easily lose their self within it. Feet stepping quietly through and picking the path of least resistance within the foilage, he made his way towards the area on the map that was marked, supposedly with a cartoonized version of Master Yun's head, as the place of the meeting. Despite his pledge to Laoshi and the faith he had in the style he learned, he had to wonder what type of man Master Yun would be like. Laoshi had been a venerable old man, despite his constant urges to eat, drink, and play around constantly with women. Humble, but still highly skilled, to say the least, he had lived a life that no Knight (ooc: the rough english translation of 俠客) would have found incomplete, filled with its good share of drama and adventure. Shaking himself from his thoughts, he took another look at the map before heading forwards once again. Then, he saw Master Yun, the supervisor of the Martial Arts Club. In the middle of the open-aired clearing, the man stood atop a boulder, a fan in one hand and a short blade tucked into his belt. The unfiltered light spread itself onto his tattered-looking kimono, giving him an aura of brightness that seemed to fit well with the pleasantly content, but pensive, expression on his face. There was no doubt about it - this man had formidable skill, and was one who would have more than enough to teach those with an open mind. If he had to rely on his instincts alone, he would have said that this man and Laoshi were close enough in skill that one wrong move would lead to the demise of the other. Moving closer towards the man Trystan held up his hands, his left palm over his right fist, in a traditional Chinese greeting. "Good afternoon, Master Yun" |

It is such a good idea to follow behind Trystan as they are joining the same club, since if she tried to find the way herself, she would most likely have lost her way, as usual. And indeed, she has chosen the right man to follow, as Trystan seems to navigate his way around the place with unbelievable ease, or maybe it just seems unbelievable from her eyes. Well, she finally reached the place, following behind Trystan, and saw Master Yun, the Martial arts club. There the man was, standing with an air of peace and power, giving out an aura of a king, yes, this is a great martial artist, a great man. Even just standing near him was rather pleasant, as his peaceful power seems to smooth the heart and give confident and tranquillity to those nearby. Yes, this man, was formidable, he reminded her of the Taoist master that taught her YiJin-Jing and XiSui-Jing, a great master whom always give others a sense of security and serenity, a man of great wonders. His eyes were deep and sharp; a peaceful sense of power came from it, as if an entire universe lies with his clear pupils, showing that his internal strength is indeed, strong beyond imagination and measurement. He is, one of the greatest Zhimeng has yet to met. "Greetings, Master Yun, thy student is here to pay her respect." Note that, while she is not a student of Master Yun, it is common for junior martial artists to refer themselves as student to great masters as a form of respect and honour towards the master. "Thy student is willing to learn, I beseech thy guidance." As she gives a traditional Chinese bow with both arms up and hands joined to the master. "As long as there are no sparing or fighting involved" Zhimeng made an mental note to herself, she hopes that this martial arts club would be interesting, but hopeful she doesn't need to truly fights. She hates fighting. Edited by Kounoko, Aug 14 2008, 02:42 PM.

A silver and black figure could be seen running through the trees of the forest. There was one thing, that Nickle had never learnt to do while he had been here at Hyakuji, one thing that he'd always lacked. That was being able to fight properly. He'd been able to get by with sheer muscle and agility for far too long now. It was time to learn to fight properly. His masters at the Rei temple had been patient with him, as only a monk could, but had bestowed very little upon him other than teaching him how to keep his stance balanced and use as little movement as possible when fighting a combatent. Now it was time to expand. He spotted the large rock and several other people there already. It was time to put the ninja in Uma Ninja. He slowed down as he came to the clearly, breathing a little heavily thorugh his sekkou uniform's mouth covering. He looked at the white haired man atop the rock. Nickle approached the rock, placing his open right palm over his closed left fist and bowed to Master Yun. This was the way he would always bow to the Rei monks, whether he recognised the sign was unknown to Nickle, but it put his mind at rest, knowing that he showed a sign of respect. He raised himself up and looked at the master's chest. Looking at him in the eyes could suggest he wished to challenge him. Likewise if he stood with his hands on his hips. So he stood with his hands at his sides, speaking only, "Good day to you Sensei-sama. I have come with the sincerest wishes to become one of your pupils and benefit from you tutilage." He glides through the air with the greatest of ease, he's the daring young man on the... Oh right. Where were we? On the treetops a lone figure moved, gracefully leaping from tree to tree with little effort. The being was clearly male, and clad in what seemed to be...a Blue ninja suit. However, the odd thing was that his weapon was...a giant blue pencil. "Oi, aibou. Why the hell are we back here after so long?" a spiritual figure asked as it floated behind him. It looked exactly like the ninja, save the fact the mask wasn't on. Short, black spikey hair with white streaks, a scar shaped like an "x" on his forehead. "We need the cash, Nagi. This was the only job we could seem to land with our qualifications. The fact we dropped outta high school in the last year didn't help much." the other replied, stopping and remaining on a tree. Nagi and his partner seemed to be hired for something, but what? "Uh...where were we supposed to go again?" he asked, now lost. He couldn't make heads or tails of where he was supposed to go. |

The man in white kept looking up, completely oblivious of the people now present. Long after they spoke he continued staring up into the vast, open sky, breathing deeply. His expression was one of tremendous peace and harmony with everything around him... the earth, the universe... it was almost... holy. After a good five minutes, his head finally moved ever so slowly, turning towards the students. As his eyes adjusted and were able to perceive them they grew wide in an instant and his face turned to one of pure panic as he saw them. "WHHAAA!!!!? WHO THE HELL ARE YOU PEOPLE?? WHAT DO YOU WANT FROM ME!!??" The man jumped off the huge rock and took his blade out, pointing it at the students as he was half-hiding behind the rock, shaking. "W-Why... how come I didn't hear you coming!? Are you like, NINJAS or something!?" |

"Si- Sir," Erin stumbled back a bit. "We're your students." Why the hell is he scared too? He straightened back up. "At least I assumed you were the one who's going to be teaching us." He looked up. He see something up there? Erin didn't see anything but... the sky. It was very plain and normal. Not at all interesting to him. He looked at the teacher. Lots of students around. |

Nickle jumped backwards when the blade got pointed at him and when the man shouted, screaming, "YIKES!" Having successfully put a distance between himself and the man, Nickle then composed himself a bit to try and understand the situation. Had he been so deep in meditation or trance that he'd not heard any of them? More so, why was he acting so jittery? As to his last question, Nickle answered, stepping forward a bit, "I'm not sure about the others. But I am, in a manner of speaking. I also came here to be your pupil." Nickle rubbed the back of his neck, hoping that this wasn't some cruel twist of fate or joke. |

As Nickle finished speaking and started rubbing the back of his neck, he would feel Yun's razor-sharp blade press against the front of his neck, right on his throat. The teacher was standing behind him. Nobody saw the man move, no one even saw him "disappear" from his previous spot. They all became aware of it only after he spoke, low but audibly fort all, his lips right next to Nickle's ear. "Oh are you, boy? Then you're going to die by my blade right now, ninja..." For those who were able to see his face, it seemed to be covered in shadow, his long white hair falling on his face, but his eyes, mere white slits stood out, narrow and vicious.

Nickle's eyes widened as he felt the razor at his throat. Nickle could not believe with the speed with which he'd moved. He swallowed gently, his nervousness slightly visible in his eyes. He'd never been in this kind of situation before, but he figured it would be in his best interests. "If you're percieving me to be a ninja, as in a back-stabbing assasin, then you've got me all wrong. I'm part of a group of celestially chosen guardians dedicated to protecting this world from demons." Nickle's ninja garb then began to turn silver and slip off on him like mercury, before forming in front of him in the form of a small black colt. "See. This is the one who chose me." Blitzer rinnicked loudly as the knife was pressed close to Nickle's throat. Beneatht he ninja outfit, Nickle was wearing a set of camo cargopants, a black t-shirt and sneakers. Nickle prayed like hell he wouldn't have to resort to violence right away, because he hate to hurt his teacher before he really even was his teacher. |

"Oh for god's sake." muttered Erin as he saw the events happening. Can't these people just leave each other alone... That one's supposed to be a teacher... He was rather confused by the horse, but that was just something his mind was free to get back to later. He shook his head slightly. He shouldn't look down on the teacher... Well he was an amazing fighter. Surely even minor lessons from such a strong person were liable to rub off something on the students. He stood there waiting for the conflict to be resolved without him. He simply didn't feel any need to step in, not like he could do anything anyways, and with his fellow pupil out of that outfit perhaps the master would simply let it be done. |

"Huh. Weren't we supposed to be the only guys in tights?" a figure asked another. Both were clad in blue ninja suits, unarmed at a glance but it was clear they had their tools and such on their person. "I dunno. But whatever, you know the plan right?" he asked, receiving a nod. He then looked everywhere else, in the area around the students, several other ninjas were present, all hiding through various means, camouflaging with nature, and other things. It was apparent that they'd be very hard to notice. But....what were they doing? |

"But Grand Master," Replied Zhimeng to Master Yun, "We are all here to join the Martial Art Club, to be thy students, to learn from thee, for thy name is great among us." Not knowing what really happened, this is about the only things Zhimeng could think of saying. Just what is going on? Why is the grad master acting like this? . "It is saith that thy great powers shock the heaven and earth, bringing devastation to the devils and gods, to call you a Martial-God would be a insult to your great abilities." As she remembered the stories that people have told her about the great legend before her. "And here we are, to seek thy advice and training, I beseech of thy, do not forsake us, for we are here to be thy disciples." |

Ryo stood listening. He was currently trying to realign his body's ions so that it would work more efficiently. He was watching from the sideline. He wasn't going to pull any stupid stunts just yet. |
