Two demons, led by the one that was opening a path in the middle of the flames, were now close to shirena. The water user promptly directed a stream ow water in his direction, while the other two prepared to attack.
The female of the two discharged an electrical attack inside the water stream, with the clear intent of electrocuting Shirena on contact.
The other dashed forward, with the intent of tearing him apart with his long claws.

---

The horned demon yelled "Damn it!" directing his water stream toward the taunting woman.
Of the other on the scene, one with a large sword stepped forward, and attempted an upward slash to split the woman into two.

---

The fake Heleth stared out of the windows as her breath was regular again. A fire was spreading in the distance, near the watchpost she sent Shirena to. Very good: that was more than a distraction for the people in that town.

Focusing back to her current problem, she turned into smoke once again and slipped below a door. On the other side, lots of tools and metal parts were scattered around.

Perfect.

She materialized long enough to take a screwdriver and dissipated again, moving to the closest door and lingering behind it.

Nothing happened. Nobody chased her down there.

It was obvious all along! Leraje had no reason to chase her! He simply had to wait near the seal and nail her down with his poisonous arrows!
She really didn't expect to be stalled like that. She underestimated that demon, that was now probably laughing in satisfaction as he easily found some dark spot to hide into.

She reached a wall and her pendant shone of a blue light as she opened a new portal that led her back outside, on the road to the square with the fountain.
She had to ambush her ambusher and gain the upper hand, or keep him busy until her allies would reach her...

Turning misery into meaningfulness!
Shirena, clearly in annoyance, quickly began moving out of the way of the electrified water. He quickly set hits hands and feet ablaze. There was little chance he'd be able to approach without an unhealthy dose of death, so he stayed content with simply burning as many things as he possibly could. He set off another explosion to launch him up to the windowsill of a nearby building, setting it ablaze with his aura.

He began taunting them, with a cocky grin. "You are the weakest demons yet! You can't even hit me!" He said, before launching himself further away, to a nearby fountain, taking cover, and preparing to blind the water users. They began to move closer, intent on dishing out some electrical death to the boy, as he quickly began to move around the fountain, trying to get a good view of the water demon, without letting them see him.

After a few moments, a good angle had been found, and he worked his magic, blinding them. Shirena keeled over, in pain, while the water demon began to panic slightly. Shirena, finally with an opening, blasted forward, and kicked the water user in the head, stopping the stream, and lighting her on fire. "Heh..." He began to feel a bit weakened by the usage of his blinding abilities, and stopped his focusing once it seemed she was incapacitated. He turned to the electrical demon, barely dodging out of the way of a burst of lightning.

Admittedly...quite slow lightning, but still.

Shirena quickly moved forward, blasting past the volley of electricity that came his way, and finally tackling the demon, with little finesse. They tumbled to the ground, with the demon ending up on top. Shirena, gasping slightly, noticed this quickly, and grinned, before setting off explosions on the soles of his feet, and bursting out of the disadvantageous point he was in, and flipping the demon onto its back in turn. He burst himself upwards, his feet finding the ground.

The demon, stunned that Shirena had broken free, and took off running towards the boy, as he stumbled, trying to keep his balance from the sudden stop of the burst. By the time he had caught his balance, the demon had been pulling back an electrified punch. Realizing what was happening, Shirena looked at the fist, and moved to the side, grabbing the demon by the arm, and bursting forward, in a constant flow. He grinned, wider and wider, as they approached the wall of a building nearby, and the demon was slammed into it. Shirena, sighing with his grin, content with the final move he had made, pulled away from the demon. The demon dropped to the ground, unconscious, and barely alive.

The weird woman continued to charge, even as the demon's deluge of water was unleashed upon her form. And the thing was... she advanced still through the stream, cape held up as if to catch...
What in the world...
The further she walked, the more water besieged her, and the more her cape seemed to grow, both in size, and depth. Yes, depth, because with its lower edge somehow hanging parallel to the upper line that the violet vixen held, the water that battered the came pushed back on it like a net catching prey, or perhaps more accurately in terms of the visual effect, a tap feeding a balloon.

A balloon that, eventually, was tightened shut, the four corners of the cape tied together to hold back the full mass that had been caught. And whether through genuine quantity, or another of the frustrating figure's tricks, the balloon was easily the size of a human semi-truck.
"Mine's bigger!" She gave a cheery yell as the demon with a large sword bore down on her, and in spite of the massive size differences between ther respective weapons, she swung faster, and much, much harder. With a slight blur, the balloon was brought down overhead, crushing down on the blade wielding creature with an immense weight. And squished down by its own force, the balloon was driven down into the ground, before finally the pressure grew too great, and the whole thing popped.

And where a deluge had been absorbed, a flood was now unleashed. Water erupted, with direction, size, and all too much power, tearing through the streets and threatening to crush those who were swept into something, and not away entirely. For several moments, the tsunami in the heart of a city would spew outwards, before finally the cackling character seemed to have her fun, and pulled back her cape. It shortened back to its proper length as she put it on, and aside of a few drips here or there, it ceased to spawn any and all H2O.

"I think I got more than you, mortal!" A veritable master of understatement, she waved to the corrupted youth... and the moment he blinked, her waving hand would be but inches from him, as was the rest of her.
"So, wanna wreck more stuff? You need to catch up."

The air vibrated in close proximity to the fountain in the large square where the fake Heleth and Leraje did battle.

The towering Astaroth was the first figure to emerge, her yellow eyes quickly studying the situation.
The fountain was still in place.

Behind her, Sophia, Seth, Heleth and Aya came out of the portal that closed itself a few instant later.

A stream of water came from the main road, reaching them to their ankles.
In the distance it was possible to see some buildings on fire.
"We arrived on time" Astaroth said "Derweze's seal is still active" she pointed at the fountain. "Their attack has been too perfect to aim to this city. they certainly know a seal is here. They're here to break it and weaken our realities. Don't let them destroy this fountain"

"Lady Astaroth!" a voce called from a window. The hooded figure of Leraje was barely visible "One of them arrived at the fountain, buy I managed to keep her at bay. She looks like Mastema's Daughter but I sensed that she's under some sort of shape shifting magic. That's not her real form."

"What!?" Heleth was surprised. Someone really did take on her appearance to fool others? That was going to be a serious problem. Luckily, she just changed appearance thanks to the Abraxas Stone. Nobody, except the few people that were there in Sheol Palace could know about her change. Of course, she still did resemble the short red demon, but she was now different enough.
At any rate that was an alarming news. A shapeshifter as an opponent could take the form of just about anybody.

"Well done Leraje" Astaroth said, as she stared at the flames on the roofs in the distance, pondering on what to do.

---

The fake Heleth's plan was interrupted by a loud slamming sound, and a stream of water coming in her direction. She turned into smoke and floated to a nearby window, reforming and staring in surprise toward the direction where the water came from. That certainly wasn't Shirena's doing. It was that other chaotic girl.
From there, she had a view of the square with the fountain. it appeared her plan was ruined by the arrival of none other than Astaroth, followed by that girl Shirena called Sophia, a female demon looking a lot like Heleth albeit horned and taller, and two other humans she never saw before.

Considering the sole presence of Astaroth, she knew it became next to impossible to take the seal alone. Anyway, she smiled in evil satisfaction as she dissolved and floated toward the source of that water. She still had two cards in her sleeve to play.
It didn't take too long for her to reappear where her two companions were.
"It seems reinforcements have arrived at the seal. Among them, there's a demon of the first hierarchy we all know: Lady Astaroth. Be careful Shirena, your friend Sophia and other humans are with her. She probably tricked them to help her."

Goodness, they really did a number on this place... Honestly he would've liked to have a walk around this city down here in the Netherworld just for a tour, but of course his first visit here had to involve this place being somewhat torn down and on fire. At least, this part of the city anyway.

In any case, "They couldn't be far, can they? The attackers I mean," If their objective is to destroy the fountain, they would probably do their very best to stay close to this place even if they are being countered. Everything seems quiet now, but if they're still around...

Right. "The first thing to do is to gather as much intel and information as possible on our current situation," Seth suddenly spoke up in a strong commanding voice, pacing and glancing about the area. "Firstly, Heleth and Sophia, you two can fly. Provide us with aerial reconnaissance," He said, throwing his hand up and pointing up in the air. "Astaroth, since you're from here, what is the defensive strength at this place?" If they are truly having trouble enough to have to call for reinforcement, they could probably judge the enemy's strength and act from there.

Who the hell appointed him as leader anyway...? Some of them will probably NOT appreciate that...

The sight of the village actually surprised Sophia a bit. Putting aside the fact that it was half destroyed and on fire, it was actually rather normal looking. She had expected it to be filled with monstrous looking buildings and statues of monstrosities, but this looked more like a rural village you’d find in Europe.

Well… onto business. The Valkyrie readied her spear, and surveyed their target. A point defence operation is it? This shouldn’t be a problem since she can just put up a shield around the area and there’d be no way the attackers would be able to damage it. But of course there were restrictions on that spell and to use it with the demons in hiding would be a waste seeing they can just wait it out. No… they would have to find the attackers first.

Then something unexpected happened. Seth was… giving orders? Quite professionally too she might add. Sophia grinned slightly at this rather rare show of initiative, and nodded her agreement. “Very well. My wings won’t last much longer but I’ll do what I can.” There was no way she was going to make that same mistake again, Seth may have saved her that time, but he’ll probably be too busy here.

Walking past the young man she gave him a pat on the shoulders. “I’ll leave things to you here, call if you need back up okay?” The Valkyrie then took to the skies, looking for any signs of the attackers.

Shirena nodded, grinning slightly. "So, they've come. This should be fun!" He said in faux cheerfulness, before looking behind him, hearing the heavy flapping of wings. He looked up, seeing none other than...Sophia, it seems. "Ooh, and it looks like one of them has come to play. This one's mine!" He said, before taking off, running behind a building nearby, and moving out of site, closer to where the Valkyrie flew.

As soon as he was within a reasonable distance, enough to see her more clearly, it was definitely Sophia up there, seeming to getting a better view of the surrounding area. He could feel a weird fluctuation in the air, almost similar to the portal that Heleth's father made when she came to the school in the first place, meaning that the others may be here as well, though there could be more demons for him to pummel...no, he wanted to keep his focus on Sophia...

Once she seemed focused in another direction, Shirena set off explosions under him, launching himself at her with a dark grin. With constant explosions underfoot, he quickly grew faster, and tackled the Valkyrie out of the sky, intent on taking her down quickly!

With a light twirl, the stranger in purple through her staff up and across her shoulders, arms lightly hanging over it and keeping it in place as she turned towards what one might consider her ally. She seemed to regard the fake Heleth like a child to be praised for her work, and indeed, gave them that very sort of pat on the head you would expect from a parent, aunt, or supportive teacher. She then turned her gaze to the young man that went off to fight his own friends.
"You know, I'm not sure he isn't dumb enough to believe that, even if you hadn't thrown his moral compass by a good... oh, I'd say 200 degrees. Never liked a mere 180 myself." Smirking as she swayed, the was a spring in the purple figure's step as she went along her merry way...

And some time later, some how, some way, she was chewing an apple as she proceeded to lean on Heleth's shoulder. The real Heleth's shoulder, uncaring for its changes from the norm, or indeed, that there might even be an objection to the usage of one's shoulder in place of a good wall.
"So a valkyrie and a demon of war walk out of a portal... sounds like the setup to a joke, no?" Before someone might be able to respond though, this odd figure would tap her staff against the ground... and clothing slipped, whether it was a loose shoe lace, or the kind of garments that one should not speak of. The strange ominous would use the brief distraction to slip, and she would certainly have the skill to deftly dodge halfhearted attemptsagainst her.

"Though... tossing in an acquaintance or two of the Olympians makes it intriguing. You, mortal oaf." She waved a finger towards Seth, a knowing grin spreading on her face.
"How is Aphrodite's loving touch these days? I imagine its been some time since she tasted fresh mortal 'meat'." It appeared there were quite a few things she could discern, with but mere glances and intuition. And she was going to enjoy this quite so.

The fake Heleth stopped when the woman patted her head, giving her a satisfied grin. "200 is as bad as 160." she said when the purple dressed figure moved on to take care of their opponents.

"It just means he will betray me. Like you will."
She turned into smoke and flew toward the square: both her temporary allies were the perfect lure to the attention of the hyakujan students and the Shedims with them. She now had time to get ready for her next move.

---

Heleth didn't take off immediately and was instead waiting for Astaroth's answer to Seth's question.
The gold eyes of Astaroth and the red ones of Leraje were both on Seth. The tall, imposing woman made Leraje look like a child next to her mother.
"The same one of a square with buildings surrounding it. A bad spot to stay, but easy to attack from the buildings surrounding it."
she paused, just an instant before pointing at a building in the opposite direction of where the water came.
"Leraje, take position in there. I want arrows on any bastard approaching from the roads you can see. We are going to..."

Her words stopped when the voice of the blonde figure in purple could be heard, appearing out of nowhere next to Heleth.
Obviously Heleth jerked away with a gasp, moving aside.

Aya barely had the time to turn and accellerate her reflexes. Astaroth instead moved like lightning, with a ravenous dash, attempting to grab the newcomer with her right hand.
The demon clearly perceived something was wrong. The woman's smell wasn't that of a human, nor that of a demon. That wasn't a kind of aura you could forget easily.

Her attempt that missed, as the knee guard of her armor suddenly slipped off. It was enough to cause a distraction that gave room to her opponent to dodge.
She dodged easily, causing a frown to appear on Astaroth's face as she mentioned Seth's connection to the greek goddes of love.

"Heh" Astaroth muttered as she let her guard down and reserved the woman a grin, staring at her with challenging eyes.

Heleth gave a glance to Seth, surprised by that revelation: that woman seemed to know quite a few things. Her eyes returned on the woman: who could she be?

"Hah! Hahahah!" Astaroth glanced at her knee guard on the ground as she began laughing even more. She closed her left fist and brought it inside her right hand.
"Speaking of Olympians..." the blue demon interrupted her laugh as the sound of her fingers snapping seemed to echo through the square "...they have a smell that is hard to forget"
She grabbed her right fist with her left hand, and her fingers snapped again.
"I wonder who among them could find interesting to support the Mazikins in their scheme. Who among them cound gain something, be it the simple satisfaction of spreading chaos? Who, I wonder?"
Astaroth turned her head, the snap of her neck could be heard.
"If someone could elect the Goddess of Mazikins, you would be a fitting candidate, Goddess of Chaos"

Goddess of chaos?
Aya's mouth opened in disbelief. The olympian goddess of chaos!? If hearing a gossip about Seth and the Goddess Aphrodite was hard to believe, that one was even harder.
True, Aya Taisha fought aliens, prevented the rebirth of an ancient god and was just dragged into the netherworld.
Just one year earlier, she'd dismiss demons and gods alike like fairy tales. If hyakuji told her something, was that anything could be real unless proven otherwise.
Still, she could never expect she'd meet Eris.

You know, explosions are kind of hard to miss because of how loud they are. Especially when it came in rapid succession like THAT. God knows who in their right mind would use explosives to actually propel themselves up into the air, but somehow it worked and that guy is on a collision course with Sophia! "Hey- WATCH OUT!!!"

FLASH!!!

Whether or not she heard of his warning he was quite ready to intercept the attacker himself. A brilliant flash of white light followed by the appearance of a nodachi in his hand, he was rearing to spear it right at the attacker, when-!

Distraction.

The young man wheeled around in alarm, his attention torn away from the Valkyrie and her assailant, instead directed towards the owner of a completely new and unfamiliar voice in their group. The sword was retracted from its original purpose, instead pointed warily at an odd looking woman who was definitely not there before.

As much as he doesn't like being caught in another person's flow, he let himself get caught in it. Not that he could help it. "...An Olympian...?" The young man muttered under his breath in response to Astaroth's claim, eyebrows furrowed in surprise and... quite the irritation, really. He's not one to recognize a deity be it just by their names or their actual status, even when they're shoved right up to his face (literally at one point). Mere mention of names, such as the Goddess of Chaos in this case, doesn't quite have much of an effect on him as it probably would with other more legend-savvy people.

That doesn't quite make for a lack of retorts however. "Yeah, I imagine she's missing her fresh mortal 'meat' too much to keep an eye on you. Or the other Olympians for that matter. What the hell are you doing here in the Netherworld?" That the young man barked angrily at the odd woman, his grip on the nodachi tightened. "You made Jonny deal with your millennium-old problem with the Titans while you guys just slob around doing nothing. And now you're here causing problems just for fun?!"

God he really hates Olympus and its people.

Things don’t look good… Death and destruction everywhere. The sight was very familiar to Sophia, but at least this time around the dead and dying were demons, something she had no qualms about. But, she did make a promise so she should get to work. Unfortunately it was pretty hard to distinguish hostiles and frie… accomplices this high up, but she tried her best until…

"Hey- WATCH OUT!!!"

“Wha…” The next thing the Valkyrie knew was a fiery body slamming into her. “S…Shirena? What do you think you’re doing!” She pushed back against the boy, beating her wings as hard as she can to maintain altitude and to fight against… what appears to be rocket boots? Since when can he do that?

A livid look appeared on Sophia features and she snarled at Shirena. “To Hel with this!” He had the element of surprise during the initial attack, but the Valkyrie was stronger than him physically. She drove her hands between his and her body and pried them off then attempted to throw him into a nearby building. Should she be successful Sophia would follow up by slamming into him before he fell and jamming her spear into his shoulder to pin him in place.

Don’t worry, she’ll heal him up after he gets a hang of himself. Maybe.

Shirena seemed to be unsurprised by her retaliation. He wasn't exactly quiet in his ascent, for that matter, and basically drove himself towards a counter attack. He also expected her to want to do him in quick, and with precision.

But thats just not fun.

As soon as he pushed him away, he gripped onto her armor, as difficult as it was, and pulled himself closer, gripping her left wing, and keeping out of the push from the opposing Valkyrie. "You think it'd be that easy, Sophia?" He said, with a slight grin, and launched himself to the side, using his strong grip to spin around Sophia, and get behind her, gripping her other wing! "Now, lets go for a little dive!" He shouted.

He quickly began blasting himself, and in turn, Sophia, downwards, attempting to position her in such a way that they'd collide with a building or the ground, with her taking the full brunt of the slam, and to be used at a shield.

"...Huh?" The lady in purple... tilted her head, a bit confused, by the way Astaroth spoke of her. Whilst the blue demon spoke of Mazikin and the will to spread chaos, the enigmatic figure pulled at bits and pieces of attire, giving them quick sniffs here or there. Aside of being pleasantly surprised by her own aroma in one part, and then horribly disgusted by another, she ultimately came to a stop, briefly making sure to brush back loose bits of hair that had sprung out whilst she searched herself.
"Oh... whats the Japanese way to say... Ara, ara?" There was a deliberate feigning of cuteness, before, quite loudly and prominently, she gave a loud - very loud - burst of laughter.

"You think I'm an Olympian? Please, if that were so, I'd still be stuck up on that mountain, with the worst audience a woman like myself could ask for. The senses of humour in some of that lot are simply appalling. But, I suppose when you've hung around them as much I once did, the... stink can stick a bit. " She seemed to... pinch, the air around her figure, and pulling on it, drew back a slightly murky cloud from across her form.
"The whole 'sister of Ares' thing wasn't exactly literal... not I imagine that some tellers of tales cared for such detail." And then, seemingly quite gently, she blew upon the cloud towards the group before her...

And it erupted into gale force winds - and with quite a stench too.

"He simply didn't mind me as much. My chaos led to conflict, and conflict is his sport. I suppose I should perhaps check with him at some point, its been... quite too long really. You mentioned something about the Titans? A 'Jonny'?" The goddess gave a total shrug and a shake of her head, indicating total ignorance as to whatever it was Seth was on about.
"Oh no matter, another day. Now then, which of you wants to try and fail horribly first?" She seemed almost... inviting, as she held out her open arms, a wide and beaming smile on her face.

Yeah, not good.

The wind gust was unexpected, strong and stinky. Heleth instintively shielded her face and covered her nose.

Aya, now distracted by Shirena and Sophia's airborne scuffle was caught by surprise as the nauseating stench entered her lungs.
"What the!?"

Astaroth clearmy showed disgust on her face, but her reaction was more composed. Except for the fact that she spat on the ground.
"You're of their same kind" Astaroth cut short "You just stink more"

"Heleth, help her" she said, with a barely visible gesture toward Sophia in the air "We'll hanldle it here"
A wide smile was on the blue demon's face.
"I'll punch your face, goddess, I promise. It may be hard to do so, but I'll feel so well when I'll manage to hit you!"

The shedim lowered herself as she dashed forward, her amber eyes focused on Eris as she began what appeared a full frontal assault with her bare hands.

Leraje, who didn't reallly have time to reach the building, closed on the woman as well, his two blades drawn. He didn't attack, he just prepared to assail Eris as soon as some space was made between the two.

Aya simply increased her metabolism, now ready to spring into action as soon as possible.

Heleth took off with her new wings, trying to get close to the air battle where a sophia and a black hooded figure were entagnled.
Her hair was extending, preparing to attack and bind that opponent.
As she approached, she realized the figure looked...familiar.
Could he be...Shirena?

Nobody seemed to notice a faint smoke trail, moving on the edge of the area, waiting for the right moment to manifest itself and attack.

Kuh...! So she's not actually an Olympian? That was actually a bit of a reassuring thought amidst the horrid gust of stank he's trying his hardest not to breath in, even through his mouth. Unfortunately that wouldn't exactly make the situation any more favorable, as the odd woman in blue started taunting and beckoning them to make the first move.

Somewhere within the very depth of his mind, another voice was raring to launch himself at her. He told him, "No,"

What? Why?! The voice in his head retorted impatiently. She's clearly looking down on us, a man doesn't walk away from a challenge!

"A man also does not let himself be baited by petty mockery!" The young man spoke out to no one in particular, actually taking steps away from the odd woman and positioned himself right in front of the fountain. He extended out his other hand, and with another flash of white light, materialized yet another weapon of his own, the spiritual katana Hakurouken. "Don't forget, our main objective is to defend this fountain. As long as they don't get close to it..."

Playing the impenetrable wall huh... The voice in his head said in an almost exasperated, disappointed manner. Though there was a growing sense of amusement in it. Aren't you usually the one to always jump in headlong into a fight?

"Believe me, you'll know when I do," Seth said with a grin.
