Mugen stepped past the doors and walked across the creaky wooden floor, frowning a bit as he tried sensing any sort've electrical wiring within the building. Copper wires lead to lightbulbs hanging from lamps in the ceiling, and were connected to switches on the walls, but the entire system was ancient. In Mugen's opinion, they were just as likely to light the place on fire as turn the lights on. "Well..." He started, standing in the middle of the church and looking around a bit, "It's certainly not a very well traveled place. I don't think anyone's been in here in decades." Doors near the front of the room, where the priests would have stood, likely lead off to back rooms and supply closets. "I wonder if there's a basement...any idea?" They could have done worse for a home base: the place had lots of room, especially if they got creative with what was left of the pews. The door could probably be fixed and made a bit more sturdy, and Mugen even thought he might be able to do something about fixing the wiring and connecting the building to a power supply of some sort. "I guess you'd call it a real fixer-upper. It's doable, but do we have any other options?" He just wasn't entirely sold on the idea; The place had its pros and cons, so he was reserving judgement until he heard the others' opinions. |

"HEY!!! Dont go lifting me up without my permission!!! Gah!!!!!!! Where are you taking me!?!?!" Shiro flailed around and punch Spike wherever he could. Mostly the head and torso though it didnt seem like it was doing much at all. He kept doing this until they reached the doors of the old church. Finally he managed to squirm out of Spikes arms and fell on the old wooden floor. "Tch. Never do that again!!" said Shiro pointing his fingers like gun at Spikes face. "...No....Its no fun just pointing and shooting someone. I want the satisfaction of beating you with my fists." said Shiro lowering his hand and grinning. Shiro walked around the church and wow did it look like a dump. He stepped on some broken glass, probably from a window or something. "Some base this is. More like a dump if anything. You sure know how to pick the dont'cha Ito?." Shiro walked over to a chair that seemed to be intact though teally dusty. He dusted.it with his hand a bit then sat down on it. "Well it aint that bad i guess. beggers cant be chosers. So. Why are we here again?" |

And then Itou and Toyoshima crossed the threshold of the church, like a married couple walking into their honeymoon suite. … So after Mugen walked into the clearly run down church, Kazuya silently followed, looking about the place. The first thing that gets his attention is the amount of dust. When he first heard of the building, he suspected that ne’er-do-wells like Toyoshima would regularly spend time at a place rumored to be abandoned clearly. Despite that, the place has been just as abandoned as the rumors say. "It's doable, but do we have any other options?" "Some base this is. More like a dump if anything. You sure know how to pick the dont'cha Ito?." As the others vocalize their… less than optimal opinions, Kazuya decides, for once, to skip the random pondering on the obvious, and come out and ask the question. “So is there a reason we’re going to make our ‘base’ a massive building right on school grounds, as opposed to someplace a little bit harder to find?” |

"No, I just thought that since we were here and you mentioned it we should go look at it first. If you guys are the sort to walk into some deserted building and settle for it immediately then there's no real point in even gathering you guys." Spike spoke simply. It had been his intention from the start to make them participate in this. "I told you all. It's gonna be our base not some random place I pick. Why don't you guys throw something out." He actually didn't particularly want it to be this church. This was where he had set up with that guy so long ago. It would be like if he went to that club room he'd lost to those guys who actually wanted to use it properly. That was something from before. He gestured out the door, "Lead the way." He was looking at everyone as he spoke. He didn't particularly care who did it. "Actually do any of you guys have a bike or a car or anything? I mean I can do 2 on mine, but there's 4 of us." |

Mugen had to wonder why Spike hadn't just come out and asked for their opinion. "Well...I've got an idea, but no way for all of us to get there." He'd been back to the mountain hide-out only once more, to see if that strange student he had met was still around, but the fellow seemed to have disappeared, along with the pods containing those strange androids. Mugen supposed that if the guy wasn't going to use the place, then their little gang could use it instead. "It's on Mount Hyaku, some sort've bunker full of old lab equipment and computers." He grinned a bit, scratching at his chin. "I found it while...ah...hiking." He had also hacked the security system, and could come and go as he pleased. "It's got electricity, running water...could use a little cleaning, I think, but it'd make a really good base of operations for us. I think I'm the only person who knows, or cares, that it's out there." He liked that he had the opportunity to bring something more to this group than his own technical expertise...and if he had the gang with him, he'd feel a lot safer poking around the place. He didn't want to think of all the nasty stuff that might've been tucked away in all the dark corners of the strange bunker. |

"I have a.bike..but its a one seater so unless one of wants to ride in the basket in front then your welcome to ride with me. Whether youll be comfortable thats a whole different problem." said Shiro cleaning his ear with his pinky. Shiro thought for moment on where they should settle down and no place seemed to stick out to him...except. "Wait I know! How about that old dojo place? I hardly see anyone using it. Plus its a dojo! We can fight in there to our hearts content!" said Shiro completely ignoring Mugens idea. "Great! Since we all agree lets go there right now!" Wait they didnt agree to anything!!!!! |

A car. Yeah, a bunch of high schoolers have a license. Makes perfect sense. Granted, Kazuya can’t stay sarcastic about that, since he doesn’t even have a bike, what with his tendency to walk anywhere he needs to go. Before he can mention his plan for a place, easily within the city, he hears Mugen’s idea. A mountain base. An honest to god mountain base! “... Yeah, I was going to mention some abandoned house I found in the suburbs, but I’ll be honest, I don’t think it tops Mr. ‘Mountain Base’’s idea.” |

Spike grabbed Shiro by the neck of his shirt and pulled him up before letting go. "We're going to the mountains then I suppose." Truth be told he would have liked to use that Dojo, since he had dug the foundation with his own two hands, but the truth was that it wasn't the sort of place they could really take over. Too many people used it already. Not that he said any of that out loud. It was just something he though. "Doesn't an abandoned lab in the mountains sound kind of evil though..." He said that but he really did think it was a good idea. That sort of place was awesome. He wondered if they would end up fighting whoever actually owned it. That would be fine, since the original owners were obviously some variety of mad scientists. He shouldn't let Mare hear him think that sort of thing. Walking out of the church Spike put his hand on a motorcycle that definitely hadn't been there when they went in. "Alright Mugen. Get on. You're the one who knows where this place is so you and Kazuya go out there first." He felt like he needed to stay with Shiro so they didn't lose him, like that uh... Rat and grain puzzle. He didn't mention any of the key points like the fact that the bike was perfectly capable of driving itself and would come back for him. |

Mugen was a little surprised to hear so few responses. The dojo was too public for a private group like theirs, and besides that he doubted they'd be very welcome. He suspected that Spike and Shiro might have been right at home in a place built for combat. When they exited the church, Mugen was shocked to see the bike parked outside, engine idling. "What the hell? How'd your bike get here, Spike?" Their leader, however, did not deign to answer him, instead insisting that Mugen ride on with Kazuya to the base. "But, Spike...I don't even know how to drive! What makes you think I can ride a motorcycle?" |

"Bleh....The mountains sounds like too much off a hassle to get to though. That means walking and stuff...Well...I guess i could ride my bike up there. Though i doubt i could up with a motorcycle." Said Shiro as he walked out of the church. Mugen and Kazuya were supposed to head out first but thten there was the problem of no license....eh life to short to wait for licenses. "No excuses!" said Shiro grabbing Mugen and lifting him up onto the bike "If a cop tries to pull over then all you need to do is follow my secert technique of avoiding them." said Shiro with a serious face. He took a long pause before he told him anything. ".....Flip them off and then run away as fast as you can" said Shiro with a serious face and a thumbs up "Its always worked for me and Hell you have a motorcycle! thats like...10 times better! you can esily escape them" Somehow his logic seems to be getting worse with each passing day...or he is just stupid....How did he make it through high school!? |

So Itou’s got a bike? So long as he isn’t expected to drive it, it sounds like fun. Given that Mugen isn’t commenting otherwise, it seems that the plan sees to be that Mugen drive, while Kazuya sits in the back. In the meantime, Itou and Toyoshima will have their alone time. To do what? Hardly his issue. Maybe “the boss” and the delinquent are dating? They do seem far more intimate than with he or Mugen. Hell, they so clearly want their alone-time that Toyoshima’s reaction to Mugen declaring that he has no idea how to drive a bike, his idea is to just drive off anyway. “Who cares if you don’t know how to drive, drive anyway.” The problem with that logic is so obvious, Kazuya doesn’t even need to mention it. Not that it will stop him. “Swing and a miss, Toyoshima. If we don’t know how to drive, then we wouldn’t be able to drive away from the cops. Because we wouldn’t know how to.” Choosing to ignore any comeback Toyoshima, he looks to the bike, and then to Mugen. “So we can’t get there on bike. How did you get there the first time? Can we walk there, and leave these two to their alone-time?” |

"It's out of the way so it's gonna be kind of a pain, but if they like the mountains then we'll give it a shot." He scratched the back of his head. As Kazuya commented on the madness of Mugen driving without knowing how the bike revved to life. "Good luck. You should probably hold on." Spike offhandedly commented. The bike went, and it went fast, toward the school gate, and then it would keep going toward the mountains. That tech guy would work it out, though Spike's mysterious bike wasn't strictly scientific. As the bike shot off into the distance Spike stretched his arms. "Guess those guys you were fighting aren't actually coming back." Spike did like to fight so it was a bit disappointing. |

"Hold on? But the engine hasn't even..." Speaking of the devil, the monstrous machine suddenly roared to life, the frame shuddering beneath the befuddled riders. "Oh crap!" The motorcycle shot forward, inertia throwing Mugen for a moment. His arms and hands went wild for a moment as he lost his balance, and it was only by clinging to the gas tank with his legs that he managed to keep himself from falling off. Gods only knew how Kazuya was going to manage. The he felt the shifting of the gears as the bike picked up speed, and managed to grab onto the handle bars. He leaned forward, grinning and laughing a bit at the wind shooting past his face. The last thing Spike and Shiro would've heard from Mugen before the bike disappeared around a corner was a loud "WOOOOOO HOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!" |

"Make sure you come back with good news! Or else ill punch you guys right in the face!" said Shiro yelling before the bike went out of earshot. Great...now what to do?...He could always fight Spike right here but....he was too tired today. He has had his fill of fights for one day, but life had a way of throwing more fights in his face so that may not happen today. "Pfft! As if they would! I gave them a proper beating! Serves them right for picking on the weak. Assholes were trying to steal some money by intimidating a kid. Luckily I was there and for uh...small fee i helped him! Those who bully the weak need to taught a lesson!" said Shiro yawning. "Anyways if they value their lives they shouldnt come. Plus your here too so itll be 10 times as worse" said Shiro looking kinda bored. He kinda hoped the guys would come, since it would give him Spike something to do |

Spike felt a bit dull as they waited, having no real way to know what was going on. He supposed he could call, but he wasn't entirely confident that the Behemoth would make sure not to drop them if they weren't holding on. Spike clicked his tongue, bored and unsure what they should do while they wait. "So Shiro, anything you want to do that you can't pull off on your own?" Spike didn't have much in the way of small talk so he figured he would just skip past it and try to figure out what he could use to convince Shiro to stick around. The guy wasn't that hard to convince but Spike was also the sort that would wander off and abandon something that didn't matter without a second thought. |
