Downtown Hyakuji - The GENCOM Corporation - Main Hall and Reception 08:00 (AM) - Sunday The GENCOM Corporation, a large headquarters consisting of three buildings. The reception, and main hall of the GENCOM Corporation was located in the tallest of the three buildings, on the ground floor. Despite being a common day for holidays, the corporation looked as alive as it did on any other day, with staff running about, seemingly to be extremely busy. One could even say that they looked too busy, although, given what was happening within the corporation, they really didn't have the time to be stopping for rests. The reception area itself was quite vast, and filled with clients and staff, and various other staff who didn't appear to be part of the GENCOM Corporation itself. It was very much what you would expect of any corporation. The reception itself seemed to be just as busy as the rest of the great hall, although fortunately they appeared to have enough staff to deal with the large volume of people coming in and out. There seemed to be three main receptions. One for GENCOM, one for the Rabenschwarz Group, and finally, the most quiet of the three receptions, the Dernbach Research Foundation's reception, which was the one the Bracers would need to go to. The Bracers who had taken the request would have been informed of the date and location of the request. They would have also have been informed that Yukari would act as the group leader. The group itself consisted of Yukari, Ami, and Levia. Yukari would have also have been informed to bring her weapon, concealed, of course. The other members of the group, however, would receive no such request. Whether they met at a pre-decided location beforehand, or met up at the GENCOM Corporation's headquarters was down to them. The automatic doors parted and Yukari walked into the reception area of the GENCOM Corp HQ building. She was wearing a knee-length lavender skirt and a nice white button-up collared shirt. She didn't really have any nice formal shoes or heels so she wore her usual calf-length brown boots. It could generously be described as business casual but more accurately described as just casual. Spoiler: click to toggle Over her shoulder she carried an assuming cylindrical bag that contained the sword Valestin-sensei told her she should bring. Yukari had no idea why though, this was supposed to be some kind of test of their quartz equipment or something like that right? Looking around the reception area, Yukari saw she was the first of the group to arrive. She sat down on a couch near the reception desk and crossed her legs politely as she waited for the others to arrive. |

"Curious question," Levia remarked to himself as he arrived at the lobby of the Gencom building. Of course, remarking to himself probably meant that anyone in the vicinity would hear him too. "Why would we need a team leader? Its just a meeting with some business people, right?" Sure, they were supposed to test some new Orbment tech that this company had made, along with all the other Quartz they had prior, but that shouldn't be dangerous. Looking over the three receptions present, it didn't take the boy too long to find the one he sought. "D...De...Der...Dernbach!' Levia read as he traced over both Gencom and "utter darkness". Walking over to that respective wing, the boy happened to catch the eye of one his team mates, swords woman Yukari Shima. "Good morning, Shima-san!" Levia wished cheerfully as he approached with a wave. He immediately saw the oddly shaped bag their team head carried, and ventured a rather accurate guess as to what laid inside. If his guess was right, it would seem that this was to be much more difficult than what he had been led to think. And much more dangerous. "What's in the bag?" But, being the type of guy that Levia was, he decided to ask cheerfully anyways. And now, the only one left to be assembled would be Ami. Perhaps out of all the people assembled in the guild, Levia had next to no idea what that girl was like, aside from being quiet, a possible shut-in, enjoys mumbling to herself and listening to music. Despite what his seemingly aloof personality may suggest, Levia seemed to have a good capacity to read others. Edited by Fallen_shinku, Jan 21 2014, 03:35 PM.

Ami sighed, glancing up at the ceiling of the main hall as she strode through. Silently. While tossing a pebble she grabbed along the way, tossing it higher and higher with the same amount of force, until it hit the ceiling and fell away at an angle. Shame. Headphones at her shoulders. Music, as always. Jeans. Normal ones, always works for whatever situation, save for formal occasions. Jacket. Fur-lined, orange with a red outline. It is winter, after all. Black fingerless gloves. Grip is always good. Better when not having your skin rubbed off. Sneakers. Brown, no discernible logo. They work, they're comfy. All punctuated with a yawn coming from her throat. Still, she chose this request of her own volition. Rigorous science was nothing new to her, considering her parents and their jobs. Hell, even the hall looked familiar. Though...That's probably just how all large corporations are. Large halls, multiple reception desks. Anyways. Sunday, 8 AM. During this time, the most likely thing she would be doing is...simply sleeping, basking in the warmth of the bed. But money talks. And so does motivation for change. "But why a group leader..." Random muttering. Why a leader? What would possibly need to be tested for a group to have a leader? Maybe something crazy. Something that required multiple people to operate. Coordination. Working in tandem. Most likely option. Other things as well. Safety. Two to a thing, one overlooking the other. Who knew. She didn't. It was just testing. All it was. And there was the reception desk. Dernbach. Certainly was small, especially for the number of people around. Walking. Simple walking, a small corner of her mind mourning the loss of the pebble. And there they were. The other two. Their names...Crap...Yukari...and...Levia. Hopefully. If she was right, more power to her. Maybe. In any case, time flowed forward, culminating in the anticlimax of Ami striding towards both Levia and Yukari, halfheartedly shouting "Oi!" at the two while giving a...rather lazy wave. |

"A group leader is chosen for when an unforeseen situation arises, and a decision to act must be made quickly." Ami and Levia would find that her muttering didn't quite go unheard as a short girl stood behind Ami, in what would appear to be a Hanbok, a traditional Korean dress. The fact that Ami was so tall only made her look smaller than she was.
The young blonde haired girl's eyes seemed to drift from each person, until fixing on Yukari, or rather, the bag she had with her. With a pleased look, she returned her gaze to the group as a whole as she began to speak. "I am Sun-hwa Heo, the Chairman of the Dernbach Research Foundation. On behalf of the entire Dernbach Research Foundation, I would like to thank you three for accepting our request. If you will follow me, I will brief you all on what the test will consist of on the way to the research floor." Judging by her rush to move the group, it was clear that Sun-hwa was either very busy, or didn't want to stay in the reception hall longer than she had to. Some of the group may have been wondering how Sun-hwa was informed of the groups arrival when none of them actively went to the reception desk to request for her. Perhaps the intensive security of the Reception Hall, which would become clear the moment Sun-hwa had led the group away from the Reception Hall, and towards a heavy security door. Security cameras littered the entire Reception Hall, and private security guards had eyes that covered the entire room. Clearly one of them had reported the arrival of the three, and requested an ID check. As you would expect from a Security Company, top tier security. Even at the high security door, which was equipped with a fingerprint, retina, and voice scanner, there were two security guards. Although, what the group would probably find unusual is that despite her high rank, the security guards showed no signs of respect. In fact, they went as far as to greet the Bracers, but not Sun-hwa herself. Once passed the doors, the security remained just as tight. As Sun-hwa led the group to what appeared to be elevator, she began to speak. Perhaps the group would realise that she only started speaking about the test once they had passed the security doors, out of the reception hall. "As you may be aware, NOVA, the device used by your guild, is the result of the Dernbach Research Foundation's latest project. It is still in early stages of development, and far from having its full potential unlocked. At the moment, each of your NOVA currently has a limiter placed on them to prevent them from operating at full power. Your NOVAs are currently only able to operate at a level proven safe, which is only one third of its potential. During this experiment, we plan to have you three test a NOVA with one of the limiters released, and observe how it affects your performance. The tests will be conducted in a safe environment, so you need not worry for your own safety." By the time Sun-hwa had finished explaining the test, the group had already used the elevator, and were on the fifth floor, being led to a large open room which was clearly used for testing. In the centre of the room was a table with three objects that resembled a necklace, no different from the Bracers' own NOVA, with exception to the fact that each had two quartz fitted into it rather than just one. Standing by the desk with a small laptop in hand was a young scientist, who immediately turned her attention to the group of Bracers. Along with her were two other scientists.
"Welcome, you must be the Bracers. I am Hyun-ae Kim, the head scientist at the Dernbach Research Foundation. Please put on the NOVA found on the table. There is a label with each of your names on. Once you have them on, we will begin with the test. Also, Yukari Shima, could you hand that bag over to one of my colleagues. The sword provided to you by your Guild is actually one of our prototype weapons, so we would just like to have to assess its condition." |

Levia turned when a tired greeting reached his ear. Coking his signature smile, the boy half-waved in response, because whatever motion he done with his hand seemed more akin to brushing dust out of the air than any actual wave seen before. "Good morning," Levia snickered lightly. "It seems someone forgot to have breakfast today." A light poke at Ami's demeanor. It was then that another voice announced its present. "What a shame... We are expecting something to go horribly wrong then," the boy replied without missing a beat. Despite it actually taking a few moments for Levia to spy where the voice had come from, his motormouth was already several clicks ahead of his mind. When he finally did see the origin of the voice, Levia couldn't help but wonder how he could've missed such an oddly dressed individual in the first place. Blonde hair, and some sort of ethnic dress. In a lobby filled to burst with black and white business suits. In hindsight, perhaps it wasn't such a smart move to talk back to the a person of high stature. But Levia didn't knew the meaning of such a word. Instead, he stared at the strange looking individual, bringing his hand up to cover his mouth. An expression of surprise, and utter speechlessness, except for... "Grilled cheese!" Levia was reduced to a spasm of coughs. He must be feeling sick today. Though, to be honest, he was rather surprised that the chairman/chairwoman of a corporation could be so young. Or, at least she looked young, but everything from her speech to the way she carried herself suggested otherwise. Though, one thing was for certain; she had a very intimidating and strict presence. This was exemplified when she practically dragged them off the lobby without anything more than half an introductions. As for the measures of security cameras that littered the place, it flew over Levia's mind. After all, he was invited here, what did he had to worry about? Though, he did wave and smiled back as the guards greeted the Bracers. And not Sun-Hwa. When they arrived the elevator, well, Levia barely paid attention to Sun-Hwa's briefing, too busy gawking like an elementary student on a field trip. You would think that the blonde had never seen an elevator before. "A third of their potential, huh?" the boy suddenly remarked, proving that he was indeed listening. Levia remembered back in the Bracer's test, where Yukari had cleaved a rock gorilla in two. Times that by three... The boy's eyes shot wide. "Those things are dangerous!" An obvious understatement. Though, in a place like Hyakuji, you would be hard-pressed to find something not dangerous. When they arrived at the room, Levia's eyes naturally drew towards the table with NOVA equipment. Walking ahead of the group, the boy took a moment to inspect the jewelery, before fishing out the one that was labelled his. "There's two Quartz in these... do they all do the some thing?" The one he had picked prior was the Tear Quartz, which, according to Valestin, assisted in the healing of injuries. Thankfully, he had never had to use his, so Levia was still, more or less, clueless about the NOVA in general. Reaching for the remaining two necklaces, Levia tossed each to their respective owners. "Here guys, catch." Lets hope the things weren't volatile or anything. Edited by Fallen_shinku, Jan 24 2014, 05:14 PM.

A boy Yukari recognized from the Bracer test but she didn't know know very well was the first to arrive. He seemed to know her name, presumably from the notice that went out to the team assigned to this GENCOM job. Yukari was willing to guess that this was not Ami. "Good morning, Levia-san was it?" She smiled softly and nudged her head in the direction of the bag on her shoulder. "I'm a swordsman, if this is a test of our skills then it only makes sense that I would need to bring a sword." This was not of course the completely honest answer but it was a plausible one and Yukari would probably have brought her sword anyway even if Valestin had not specifically advised her to do so. A girl in a casual outfit and headphones on her shoulders walked in and suddenly Yukari felt much less under-dressed for this setting. She nodded and waved back to the girl whom she assumed to be Ami. Before she could say anything else they were greeted by a short girl in a traditional eastern garb. The woman, who introduced herself as Sun-hwa Heo, led them deeper into the building. Yukari tried to make a mental map of the path they had taken but she was much more interested in the high level security. She listened as Sun-hwa explained about the NOVA device they had used during the Bracer test and Yukari was surprised to learn that the device had not been functioning at 100% during the test. She recalled how the strength quartz in her NOVA had allowed her to cleave a rock bear in two with a single slash. "Will this test require us to fight another monster?" Yukari wondered what kind of test this would be when the group entered a large open room and were bid to put on a NOVA by a scientist who introduced herself as Hyun-ae Kim. Yukari stepped forward to put on the necklace with her name on it but then looked a little curiously at Hyun-ae as she was asked to hand over the sword bag. "Will I not need the sword for this test?" She unslung the bag from her shoulder but did not hand it over just yet. Frankly she would prefer to keep it for her own peace of mind. |

She had breakfast. Just not a large one. Would be good enough for now. "Morning, Levia, Yukari..." Say what you will, but the fact that she was quiet didn't mean she wasn't listening constantly. She was quiet, not inattentive. Besides, music helps to focus. Science! But the girl...Well, first off, how'd she get behind her? Especially in that outfit...And how short she was. Genetics is a cruel thing sometimes. At least she got a good roll. Not natural 20s, but up there, at the very least. But she was the chairman She made the request. Testing shouldn't be so bad. Ami followed behind, looking around silently at the cameras and general state of security, heading through the heavy security door. Of course there was security this high. Secrets are worth money, after all. Lots of it. The fingerprinting, the voice scan, the retina...It could all be passed. Technology was not infallible. Nor were the two guards, who she greeted with a small nod. They said hello to the three of them, but not to Sun-hwa...Strange. Maybe one of those 'We hate our chairman and we want to get rid of her' type things? Too cliche. This wasn't a story. Security stayed tight. Expected. Things can trickle in, but that doesn't mean people inside wouldn't want to leak things out for the right price and moral stature. Her ears perked up at the mention of the test, a hand slipping inside her pocket to lower the volume of her music. One-third...But... "Would that mean that the increase would be exponential or additional...?" It did matter. The larger the power given, the larger difference there would be depending on the answer. And yet, the primal thrill of power. It would be interesting, no matter how it increased, or how it worked. She was still curious about it, that much was true. But still. Also, the elevator was pretty nice. Silent, just the four of them. Except for the explanation. Ami followed along, looking around the room in mute curiosity. Large. Was anything in this room? Possibly. Sealed hidden doors. Five floors could disguise a number of things. Also, the head scientist. Everyone was taller than Sun-hwa. Genetics really are something. Also something worth noting was the necklaces. Two instead of one, the most obvious difference. "But...if it's one-third potential...why only have two inserted?" Maybe the second one was being held back. Maybe both reacted and created more power than both added together. Who knew. Well, this corporation knew. They did say they made it, after all. Unless it was one of those 'We found this first but we have no idea how it works' things. Explanations always lacking. Tossing them wouldn't be a good idea. Maybe. Either way, Ami caught the tossed necklace with her wrist, twirling it around before hooking it with her finger, taking a close look at the quartz inside. Dammit, Levia...But nothing exploded. Yet. And most likely, it would stay that way. |

"By a third of its power, I mean that NOVA is capable of processing three Quartz at once. Your NOVA are set to only process one, however, which is as good as saying a third of what it is capable of." Sun-hwa's answer was directed at Ami, who inquired about the increase in NOVA's capabilities. While saying that NOVA was only operating at a third of what it is capable was true in a sense, it was also misleading in the sense that it didn't actually automatically mean that NOVA would perform exactly 33% better with one of its slot limiters released. Meanwhile... "W-What are doing!? Don't throw them! You could break them!" Oh, Levia, really? Throwing experimental devices around isn't safe at all. Fortunately, they didn't explode, or cause any horrible disaster. "Don't worry, we will return the sword immediately after the test is finished. You won't be placed against any monsters, and you won't need your sword for the duration of the test. We wouldn't keep anything so dangerous inside a corporation building." In other words, I wish we could keep monsters, but we aren't allowed to. Meanwhile, Hyun-ae went on to answer Ami's question. "Your NOVA, up until now, has been operating at one third. This is an experimental model designed to operate at two thirds, which is why it has two out of the three slots filled." While the scientists waited for Yukari to pass them her sword, Hyun-ae handed each Bracer a piece of paper detailing what exactly their experimental model of NOVA did. While one of the Quartz would probably appear familiar to those who studied the Quartz the Bracer Guild had offered them, they would find that another Quartz did not appear so familiar. Levia's NOVA Ami's NOVA Yukari's NOVA "During this test, you will be required to engage in combat with a combat hologram that is used to train soldiers. While they will not physically be able to harm you, you will feel pain if you are hit by them. Remember that these holograms are programmed to be the perfect soldier. It should be enough to push you all to use your NOVA to their full extent. When you are ready, please proceed to the centre of the room, and let me know when to start the holograms." |

Levia smiled mischievously at the scientist, as even Sun Hwa didn't utter a word at his antics. Besides, it had all worked out; none of the things exploded or what not. Additionally, the others were able to catch the accessories without fumbling, drops or fowls. Of course, if something bad had happened, Levia would probably be singing a very different tune. Turning over then to Sun Hwa, Levia let out a sigh of relief as the short girl mentioned that there would be no monsters in the test. Truth be told, housing monsters in a corporate building would be extremely unconventional and unsafe, though, admittedly, not all that surprising. Though, one thing did made Levia curious; if the NOVA's were supposed to operate at such a high performance, why would they need an experimental version to operate at 66%? Perhaps a more studious mind would investigate this, but Levia was no such thing. And he didn't particularly cared. As quick as the mild curiosity had come, it then left the boy's mind. Receiving the slip from Hyun-ae, Levia looked over it briefly. "Huh, water..." Levia remarked, looking back between the two quartz around his neck and the paper in his hand. It seemed a bit redundant to him, but who as he to complain? In anycase, it would be best to get this over with. Then maybe they could go for some lunch. "I wouldn't mind some cake right about now," the blonde remarked to himself offhandedly, stuffing the sheet of paper into his pant pockets. Walking off leisurely into the center of the room, Levia looked not at all like someone that was about to engage in some combative training. In fact, he looked more like a kid going to buy some ice cream. The boy's attention span has probably already dawdled off to lunch. "Well, lets get sta- Wait a minute, wha's a perfect soldier?!" Wouldn't that be a bit too much? After all, Levia himself never had any sort of training. Wouldn't fighting a soldier be asking a too much? An image of getting beaten from all sides by a generously and voluminously haired individual with an incredibly sized sword filled Levia's mind. Even if it couldn't physically hurt him, Sun-hwa had said that they would be able to feel it. All of it. Levia gulped, a stray drop of sweat rolling down his temple. |

Hmm. So this was only two-thirds. Not full power, but still an increase. Which was still good, no? Technically, it would be double the power, from 1/3rd to 2/3rd. Like she thought. Still good! And no monsters. Well, she couldn't do much against a rockbear, so...also good! Probably just fight against a human, easy stuff. Hopefully. Now let's see... Ami took the paper, reading over the description inside. "Limited use..." Not all goo news, then. But still, nothing for mobility...Just general keeping people off their feet and stationary. Which...suited her. Good, good, good stuff. Still easy, still not a bad request, get a small living wage, life goes on, happy happy fun times involving testing out experimental technology from a corporation without any knowledge of how it worked. Perfectly fine. Quartz looked nice as well. How did they work, anyways... But bac- Holograms. Okay...Perfect soldiers. Well...Um...Did they have to go that far? Maybe? Yes, no, possibly, we're sadists, we like seeing you suffer, why? Not so easy after all, then. Ami sighed at the news, striding towards the center of the room and pocketing the slip, placing the necklace around her neck. "Perfect soldiers...Crazy people." |

[OOC Note] Since Hitomi is busy, I will continue this topic. Just pretend she is still around and doing the trial. "Are you sure that they can handle perfect soldiers...? Maybe we should place the setting a little lower, just to be on the safe side..." While Hyun-ae did keep her voice low, it was obvious she was voice some concern to Sun-hwa, although, Sun-hwa's expression was anything but concerned. Sun-hwa had the expression of someone who firmly believed in their technology, and her reply would make that clear. "If we do not place them against such opponents, then we won't be able to properly gauge the power of NOVA. I am confident that NOVA will make even the untrained strong enough to face against soldiers." Hyun-ae, despite still looking concerned, nodded her head as she gave one of the other scientists the signal to start the trial. One scientist approached a computer located in the corner of the room, and started to type away. Moments later, a large glass wall separated the scientists and the Bracers, and then several other glass walls separating each Bracer from each other. In other words, they were each in a one vs one fight with a hologram. The Bracers wouldn't have to worry about the glass, as not only was it designed to withstand even high calibre shots, but also powerful explosions from grenades and even bombs. Opposite each Bracer, as if out of nowhere, a hologram of an unarmed soldier was created. Although the Bracers were told it was a hologram, they would probably have an extremely difficult time telling it apart from a real human. The holographic soldier wore standard security guard clothes, however it was immediately clear from their stance that they were highly skill in fist to fist combat. "The test starts now!" Immediately on those words, the holographic soldiers rushed towards each Bracer, attempting to catch them off guard, and strike first. They were aiming to paralyse the Bracers by forcing them into some lock or another that would prevent them from moving. Edited by Mayu Akabane, Feb 8 2014, 10:59 AM.

Hyun-ae short little quip was not missed by the ever perceptive Levia. Sadly, that only caused the blonde to go into a deeper duress. It would seem that Hyun-ae's confidence was not shared with any other individual in the room. But, before the boy could voice a protest, glass walls fell down from the room, separating him from his fellow members. "Y-yikes!" Levia jumped back, pulling his ponytail closer to himself, lest it be caught. Getting yourself pinned under a wall just because you left your hair long would be mighty inconvenient. A worried expression made itself even more apparent as Levia regarded the glass, fearfully poking it with a finger. It seemed to be made out of much more durable stuff than the numerous cabinets and china he had back home. Which meant that he wouldn't be able to run. The boy began to have cold feet. Perhaps this wasn't such a good idea... Levia thought, turning as the another individual appeared in the arena with him. "Huh...? You're just some guy..." Levia spoke in a surprised tone, perhaps a bit out of turn. His posture immediately loosened, seeing that the man looked exactly the same as one of those security guys he had seen before. Regaining some of his posture, Levia scratched the back of his head lightly, as if he had just done something embarrassing. "I guess you're not that kind of soldier...eheheh..." Levia chuckled uneasily to himself. It would seem that the fact that the man's stance and composure signaled him to be an extremely capable combatant flew right over his head. Then, in the next moment, the soldier flew towards Levia. The boy did the thing any person would do when a muscular grown man jumped at you. "Uwah!" he shrieked. Throwing his arms forward in a reflex, Levia tried to remember how to use the NOVAs. Though, now that he thought about it, he had never used the thing before. And unlike the passive ones used by Hitomi, the ones provided by Sun-Hwa were all the active types. Did they worked the same as magecraft? If they did, Levia would be able to manage; though he couldn't use most spells, he knew how to. But which school? Which kind? The boy drew up a blank. And then the unthinkable happened; due to the surprise and urgency of the situation, Levia tripped upon his heels, falling backwards. Well, guess he'll just have to do what felt natural. Not that it ever worked before. "Orbal art-!" Levia gasped as he lsot his footing. Falling flat on the ground, he turned his attention to the approaching hologram. "Water Grenade!" If this didn't work, Levia was more or less done. Maybe he should've paid more attention when Valestin was going over how to use the things. |

Ami looked around, before quickly browsing through her phone. Lucky that she always got warranty on her things, considering her ability. Good music, hmm...In all retrospect, why bring fragile technology to a combat situation? On the other hand, why not? Her hand brushed upon the touchscreen multiple times, muttering to herself. "Military, huh..." Quite a few bands. Power metal. Perfect. This would serve for now. She took a deep breath, slipping on her headphones as the glass fell down, making sure they kept a snug fit. Really, what luck to find a pair that fit her so well. No matter what, they wouldn't fall out. At least, 99% of the time. But this wouldn't be the 1%. Just a simple fight. False confidence transfers over to actual confidence eventually, no? Truth be told, she didn't know what to expect. Just keep breathing, listen to the music, and try your best. They were perfect soldiers, but there were quartzs. Odds still not in her favor. And yet, why not fight? It was testing. She tapped the glass absentmindedly, watching the hologram appear. Large, definitely. Intimidating. Seriously, that technology was amazing. If it were any other day, she probably would be asking about details. But for now. That ma- hologram was coming to her. Head-on. Ami clicked her tongue, waiting. A bull. Would he topple over? Possibly. Possibly not. But the first move had been made. And she made one in kind. Specifically, running straight at the man and attempting a jump over, slightly decreasing her own gravity as assistance. Dodge the first. It was always the strongest attack, no? One of intimidation. "Primo Victoria." Just a whisper under her breath, mostly for her own self-esteem and steeling herself for pain. But the first victory will be her's. At least, she'll try. Primo Victoria, indeed. |

While the holograms may have not been equipped with guns, or any weapons, they were still military class training programs, used to train GENCOM security staff. They were taught a variety of different close combats styles, ranging from defensive styles aimed at paralysing the opponent to offensive styles aimed to completely neutralise a target. While the holograms couldn't actually kill, they were still set to defensive combat, so the hologram's primary goal was to disable the opponent from moving rather than make a lethal strike. On Levia's side of the battle, he would find his NOVA reacting to his words, and one of the inserted Quartz glowing for a moment before a small orb of water appeared directly in front of the hologram. However, the holograms reaction to the orb was almost instantaneous, immediately raising crossing his arms in front of his face to safeguard himself from any damage as the condensed orb of water suddenly exploded, pushing the training hologram backwards a handful of metres. With a remarkable sense of balance, the hologram actually managed to stay on his feet, and without wasting time rushed once again towards Levia, pulling back his right fist before thrusting it forwards as Levia came into his range. On Ami's side of things, as if reading Ami's movements, the hologram slowed down his dash towards her as she began hers towards the hologram. The hologram then forced himself to a sudden stop as Ami made her jump. The hologram reacted to her jump by trying to take hold of her foot, however thanks to Ami's gravity reducing ability, the hologram's calculation weren't as accurate as they should have been, giving Ami has room to avoid the hologram's attempt to bring her down. |
