Instead of horror, or just plain disgust, the boy only intensified his gaze upon the ragged undead as it consumed the corpses in a matter of seconds. And to his awe, it had healed to what seemed to be devastating attacks moments prior. To be honest, Youhei wasn't exactly quite sure to call that magic or some kind of ability, but there was only one thing he could say about it. It was pretty awesome. Not that unfortunate dead person, mind you. "Hey, you two!" The boy pointed towards the two faceless commandos, who were just haplessly firing off their guns without good reason. "Shouldn't you be protecting this guy?!" But looking at their trigger happy faces and twitching fingers quickly told him that they were otherwise preoccupied with their fun time. Everyone was having such a swell time beating up that ninja-looking man, except for Youhei. He frowned in disapproval. Giving out an exasperated sigh, the boy stooped downwards toward the man before lodging his two palms underneath the fabric, hems of the suit, and with it, the weight of a hefty human being. "But it looks like I got the boring job this time," To the man's surprise, Youhei would be able to lift him with little to no effort, as he slung his hefty weight onto one shoulder. "I'm Hayakawa Youhei," The boy gave the wounded man what seemed to be a reassuring smile - but would he really be safe with this guy? Something about him just seemed...extreme?"And I'll be saving you now." As the knives came flying outwards from the thing, Youhei tightened the grip of his fingers into his palms, not in anxiety, but rather, anticipation. Although Dawn deployed her crystal projectiles to meet the things in flight, there was only one problem - Youhei was on the complete other side of the rest of the party. Another thing was that he was carrying a full grown man on his shoulders. A bleeding man at that. He swore for a moment that his shoulder felt a bit moist. Shudder. "There's no way that can hit me," The boy spun upon his heels, weaving and taking all the necessary steps to evade the wave of knives. In retrospect, they were fairly easy to dodge. "Not even a scratch!" ...As for his 'hostage', the edge of a hilt seemed to poke out from the body, causing a stream of blood to spurt from the guy's behind. Comically, of course. Or not. Youhei eyed the dagger for a moment. Maybe if he ignored it long enough, it would disappear. Yeah, that was probably a good plan. "Hey, old man," The boy referred to him in an over-casual manner. "That guy over there looks pretty tough," Youhei pointed towards the Jonin with his free hand-finger. "You wouldn't know how to beat those things, would you?" Even Youhei knew at this point that blindly shooting and punching that thing would cause more problems than good. However, what was more bothering him was why that thing was on such a rampage in the middle of the road. He looked at the business man with a gaze of suspicion. Why was such an insane looking murderer after such a helpless hap like this guy? To be honest, Youhei thought he looked pretty weak. Like, below average weak. "...Don't tell me you're a bad guy." |

(Got the go ahead from Vaz to post without him, so it continues!) Kell had to admit that she nearly screamed when she heard Elizabeth's voice. Holy crap, that was a close one. She knew how strong the maid was, and how bad off she'd be if she took a full on punch. In this situation, that would leave her as little more than ninja food if she had been unlucky. When the bonds were released, she coughed as she dropped to the floor. Damn, she never knew that the swapping technique could be used on people. This ninja bullshit was getting her so mad, but the situation wasn't anywhere close to resolved. In fact, she was imminently close to death as she saw a bunch of knives heading for her while she was defenceless! At the last moment, Elizabeth stood in front of her and took the attack. She set her teeth in a scowl as she heard the maid's explanation. "Well, next time, don't fucking block for me." She snarled. "I'm not here to get my friends hurt in my place. The only body shields I want are the enemy!" In that way, she was both less and more grateful than she should've been. She adjusted her tie, mood incredibly sour as she saw the fight progress. ---- The two commandos destroyed the last of their comrades' bodies, cursing in some foreign language as they fell back after hearing Youhei's response. They were understandably on edge, given that they were up against an opponent who could squash them like flies at a moment's notice. The CEO didn't protest as he was lifted up by Youhei, though he did groan in pain from his wounds. The ninja had messed him up pretty badly, though it wasn't anything fatal. He was about to thank the boy when he suddenly felt a sharp pain in his rear. Well, that wasn't good. "ARGH!" Yep. Definitely not good. And now he was being accused of things that weren't his fault! "I'm not a bad guy! I pay all my taxes, and I've never done anything illegal!" WAIT. WAIT A SECOND. This guy was one of the body doubles, wasn't he?! "As an executive, I hear about weird things all the time. A couple years back, there were rumours that there these stealthy monsters were killing all these businessmen all over the world! And some of them said that they were vulnerable to salt, for whatever reason. It had to be the good stuff, though. Not regular table salt." The CEO groaned. It didn't seem like he was the real deal, but the blood loss could account for a lack of presence. Could he be trusted? The commandos certainly seemed to think the opposite was true, as one of them passed an assault rifle to Youhei and offered to take the supposed executive out of his hands. ---- Dawn's crystals managed to keep the majority of the knives away, as Rikina deflected the rest with her attacks. As she was the only one not attacking right now, the young mage was in position to both hear about the supposed weakness and spot a small gourmet food store across the street. Could it be that there was some luxurious salt in there that would help them out? Oddly enough, the ninja wasn't moving much like a ninja right now. Sure, he was as fast as ever. But that slippery grace that had infused his every step before he healed had been replaced with more aggressive movements. A second point of interest was that he didn't seem as aware. The cloaked ninja actually turned away to Youhei and the corporate trio. That mistake would quickly be punished as Rikina managed to cut across its left leg. Apparently, the forcefield remained down. With a distinctly human-like yell of anger, it spun around and tried to smash the dark elf into the floor with one clenched fist. |

Dawn frowned, this situation still wasn't resolving. It was almost as if this zombie wouldn't quit. This was really starting to get on Dawn's nerves, she didn't really like people that prolonged fights that they were obviously losing. She wracked her brain trying to think of ways to handle the blasted thing. After realizing that she could use her sigil again Dawn thought to herself that trying to end this now would probably be the best option. Especially considering that the force field seemed to be down, at least that was Dawn's assumption when she observed one of the others manage to land a wound on the creature. The creature turned to counterattack it's attacker, Dawn had to try and intervene to attempt to do something. Quickly thinking, Dawn materialized a crystal shard and brushed her fingers against it, planting a sigil onto it. She sent the shard flying towards the elbow of the creature. If she was lucky she could take of its whole arm by embedding the shard into it's flesh and then blowing up her sigil, if she was unlucky the explosion should still knock the creature away. |

"Think nothing of it," Elizabeth said, looking back to her as she pulled out the knives, "Look at it as, 'protecting my investment', if you understand what I mean." Liz continued to pull out the rest of the knives, the sound of them clanking as they fell to the ground. Liz couldn't be bothered whether the rest were blocked or not, blinking once at the scene. She began to refocus on the main target, watching it act differently than before. "I believe it is time we finish this being off," Liz stated, moving forward to the target as it was distracted by attacking a nearby student. Proximity alarms would go off, realizing that something small was rushing towards it. She'd stop for a moment to let the object hit the being before making her own attack. After the damage was done, she'd sprint to the being and crash right into it, hoping to slam it into a nearby wall at full force using her strength. |

Rikina had been glad to see that Kell was uninjured, thanks to Elizabeth's timely intervention. Still, Kell did rage at Elizabeth, though she chalked it up to Kell's pride in her self-reliant nature. Still, Elizabeth took it well. Kell was struck by the fist of the enemy, even as she tried to dodge backwards. Moving with the punch heavily degrade it, but she nearly broke her rib. She let out a chilling cackle that sounded to be a mix between pleasure and pain, though her slasher smile was ever darker now. "Don't worry Kell! I'll get you a body shield! How's about I carve his rib cage into a makeshift buckler for you? Anyone want me to carve his femur into a shiv?" was what she called out, as she leapt up to try to stab it's face while it recovered from it's punch. |

"Salt?" Youhei looked back towards the man dubiously, dumbfounded by the irrelevance of his words. "What is he - some kind of snail?!" Obviously, the boy found it difficult to see how a common household condiment could halt a bloodthirsty, corpse devouring murderer in his tracks - but honestly, what else could he do? "Damn it," Youhei scratched the back of his head annoyingly, trying to recall the last time he had the luxury of having salt. To be honest, he had merely been eating instant noodles, candy and packaged meat for the last few weeks! He would much rather use the salt instead of throwing it in the Jonin's face, but unfortunately for him, lives were on the line. "Alright, alright," Youhei half whined, shaking his head in slight disbelief. As he heaved the man onto the mook's arms carefully, the boy returned the provided gun with a slight brush of the hand. "I think you would do much better with that," The boy smiled towards the faceless man, whom was roughly the same height as the other. Honestly, these guys go far too unappreciated with their work. But to Youhei, they were still pretty damn cool. "Hey, outta the way!" As he said that, Youhei was already half way through the road, dodging and skimming past the still attacking students. Stab-stab. Explosions. Seriously, they were way too violent for his liking. The shining lights of the building beamed into his eyes as his hands felt for the handle to the door. Before long, a rambunctious teen would slam the entrance open, making his grand presence well-known to anyone in the store. With the breeze flowing against his hair and stirring the folds of his clothes, Youhei shot his gaze around the room, to anyone who happened to look at him funny. "This is a hold up!" Clenching then pumping his fist into the air, the boy shouted loud enough for anyone in the near proximity to hear. "Give me all your salt please!" That look in his eyes as he rolled up his sleeves in anticipation would easily tell anyone that he was dead serious. Very serious. Edited by MegaBreak, Feb 5 2014, 09:50 PM.

Spitting in rage at Rikina, the undead monster reacted to her taunt by drawing a particularly large knife and rushing in. Just before it could stab her, Dawn's crystal came in and managed to pierce its arm. No, more than that. Its arm was blown off by the detonation, keeping it from impaling the dark elf in one vicious moment. In that moment, its face was pierced by Rikina's knife before being tackled through a nearby wall by Liz. The creature was not done yet, though. Its bones were broken and it was wounded all over the place, but it started moving in liquid-like ways to slither out of the maid's grasp. With a vicious yell, it drew yet another large knife and sought to slam it into the android's head. At the very last second, Kell jumped in the way and blocked the knife with her arm. She hissed in agony as the almost sword like weapon started piercing the false limb. "I don't want souvenirs! Just kill the damned thing!" The wrestler shouted in pain. She was forced back a few steps into Liz by the sheer strength of the cloaked abomination, the knife slowly working its way through her false arm as it kept on applying pressure. Before long, the blade would go through the harder than steel limb and start stabbing into her head. ---- Meanwhile, the man hiding behind the counter didn't protest. He simply collected the salt, cowering from Youhei as the sounds of battle raged outside. Twice he looked back and made an effort as if to speak, but decided against it and simply got back to work. When he was done, the shaky cashier just set it down on the counter, cringing if the teen got near. "What are you going to do with it?" He asked shakily, as if he was talking about a bomb placed right in front of him. ---- Before it could finally end Kell's life, the creature suddenly turned to the distance. Two voices spoke in perfect harmony, filled with unrelenting hate and rage. RIDER The jōnin writhed in agony for a few seconds, before falling to one knee. Its voice and mind belonged to it again, yet it was still shackled by its absolute orders. With slow, elegant movements, it stood back up and prepared to fight once more. |

Dust started to form after the fresh crash into the wall with the being in her grasp, hoping that the attack may have done the trick. Unfortunately, it began to move again and out of her grasp. Elizabeth turned and looked at it's estimated location, seeing it ready to attack her but Kell jumping into defend the attack. With the attack blocked, Kell demanded an attack while she had it occupied. Liz held Kell close in case things got chaotic, Elizabeth already thinking of what to do. Just like that, she reached out and grabbed the beings arm and began squeezing with her gynoid strength, slowly squeezing tighter and tighter. Hopefully the being would release its grip on the knife, Elizabeth would remain the squeeze on its arm regardless. It would suddenly turn away, collapsing to one knee and then coming back for more. Elizabeth shoved Kell aside, ready to take on the creature once more. She prepared herself, calm and composed. It wasn't hard to pull this off since she could just not show emotion. That being said, her calculations were running various trials as to best possible outcomes of the upcoming fight. |

Snatching the satchel of salt in one fell swoop, Youhei completely disregarded the prominent fear and confusion lingering on the cashier's eyes. "I don't know," Instead, the boy returned it with a look of disbelief, before breaking out into a shining grin, the whites of his teeth nearly sparkling like those action novel protagonists. Flipping the back a few times in the air, Youhei caught the thing in mid flight, feeling the weight of it's contents bouncing quaintly inside it's clothed body. "Whatever feels right!" The tip of his thumb shot upwards as he, in his own way, thanked the clerk for his somewhat submissive co-operation. With a spin on his feet, the boy threw open the doors once again entered the street. Without looking back at the man, Youhei raised a hand in acknowledgement. "I'll pay you back one day!" The chances of that were next to none. As he rushed back into the street brawl, Youhei arrived with a renewed vigor and a somewhat arrogant look on his face. "Stop right there!" Running into the middle of the fray, he pointed an offending finger towards the Jonin, a fearless smile hanging on his lips. A shy wind blew his hair as he entered the scene, smiling wickedly as he did so. "Or I'll be forced to use my secret weapon!" His "secret weapon" being a bag of salt. With the pouch flung over his back, Youhei basically issued a challenge towards the creature, with little more than a common household condiment. Giving a look of reassurance towards Kell, Rikina and Elizabeath, the boy threw himself into the front lines. "Don't worry - the old man told me this'd work!" However... what exactly was he to do with it? To be honest, he wasn't particularly skilled in the arts of salt oriented combat. Figure that out as I go - worst comes to worst... Getting into no specific battle stance, Youhei gazed into the strange anatomy of the monster. I'll just shove the salt into it's face. Seemingly decided on that particular plan, Youhei nodded to himself in approval. After all, it worked on snails, didn't it? |

"Awwkay, I'll just make souvineers after all this is done, kay?" Rikina shouted back. In the fact of her mind, she wondered what she could make as a present for Kell once this was all over. Maybe a wrist guard; Rikina certainly didn't want Kell to lose her remaining hand! There was then a voice from the distance, with the word 'rider' coming from them. It turned for a second, before getting back up. Since it seemed to be in pain from the word, she started shouting "Rider! Rider! Rider! Rider! Riiiiiiideeeeeeer!" to see if it would hurt worse. That being said, as she was shouting it, she also rushed towars the Jonin, attempted to jump onto it's back, and cut through the spine of it's neck with her knives, in order to decapitate it. |

Once more, the elite ninja was in dire straits. Wounded and still semi-conscious due to its hasty revival, the creature was caught in a hold by Elizabeth. With its arm immobilized, Kell was able to pull her impaled limb off with the maid's help, cursing in pain as she clutched her wound. It seemed that she'd be leaving it up to her team for a while as she tried to motivate herself again. The creature would not wait so long, though. With a horrid yell, its eyes bugged out when it saw Youhei come in. Apparently, that high-grade salt he took from the gourmet food shop was worthy of freaking out over. With a hiss, its forearm bent in an anatomically impossible way, as it the middle of the bone suddenly grew a joint. The knife in its hand flew into the air as it made another sign. This time the elite was fighting seriously. In an instant, Rikina's vision was clouded as she briefly saw a vision of Paradise. Was it the sort of illusion casted on prospective recruits to the Hashashins to convince them of the rewards that awaited them? Whatever the origin of that spell was, it'd keep the dark elf distracted as the jōnin swapped places with Kell yet again with another jutsu. Now the wrestler was being held still while her friend came at her while swinging knives. It performed a panther-like leap into the air, kicking his large knife at Youhei as it swung the now steel-hard points of its cloak at Elizabeth. Unfortunately for the ninja, he used the wounded leg to kick the knife, which led to its course veering slightly more to the right than intended. Would Youhei still be able to dodge the lightning fast attack, though? |

Elizabeth watched as the being reacted to another ally ran towards it, continuing to keep her grip on the being to keep it in place. She followed the course of the knife, her head remaining in place while her eyes tracked the knife. Within an instant, the creature was at the knife in the air, kicking it towards the ally who was coming. Liz immediately looked back to her grasp, realizing she was now crushing Kells wrist with her gynoid strength. "My apologies," Liz said, releasing her once she realized it was no long the being she was holding in place. After apologizing, Liz looked back to the being before suddenly being hit by the hard points of its cloak, catching her off guard for a moment. Liz fell back and causing her to stumble, crashing into another wall. |

Dawn quickly reacted to the knife flying towards the boy, while it was still quite off course it was better to be safe then sorry. In an instant a crystal knife flew towards the blade that the creature had thrown. At this point the fight had been going on for quite a while, even though Dawn wasn't certain that this salt would work it was probably their best shot as of the current point in time. Quickly making her way closer to the boy carrying the salt Dawn sent three more shards flying towards the ninja in an attempt to wound and distract him from the boy. She kept her eyes peeled for any more attacks that the creature tried to make against the boy, from the speed of the attacks Dawn figured that she would have to react really quickly to be able to do anything about them. This fight was really difficult, Dawn had been wondering what this creature even was. With its superhuman skills and speed she was quite surprised at just how outclassed she would be if it was a one on one fight. Thankfully though there were multiple people there. |

The brief image of paradise didn't even phase her, for better or worse. Rikina worked her own psionics to repel whatever illusion there was, shouting "Nice try!" to inform the Jonin that what she perceived to be his plan failed. Unfortunately, she misjudged the jonin's intent. She merely believed that the jonin was trying to make her flinch; she wasn't going to let a silly illusion dominate her, so she kept swinging her knife. Fortunately, due to the fact that Rikina was half a foot shorter than Kell, her knives wouldn't hit the luchadore's throat if they hit. |

As the lightning fast attack came barreling towards the area of his left chest, Youhei only narrowed his eyes, gripping the small satchel even tighter than before. Digging his feet into the ground, the boy prepared himself, eyes locked solid on the incoming projectile. But to his dismay, it was hit, by some kind of bluish, cerulean hue. As it sparkled through the air and reverberated a soft hum, the crystalline blade made a straight collision into the titan knife, deviating it's path just slightly enough to brush past Youhei's clothes to the side. With a look of surprise and slight confusion, he gave the girl a small thumbs up, followed with a smile, commending her brave feat. "Nice shooting!" At the very least, he knew that she was a friend. To be honest, everyone else here seemed to be doing their own thing. Which would be totally cool, except when there was a rampaging murderous ninja on the loose. It was too bad he was actually looking forward to dodging it though. Besides, he was never one to refuse the kindness of others. "Well, I would've liked it better this way anyways," With a small smile of challenge, the boy began moving; every step and effort seeking no such waste in unnecessary movement. "Sorry, but you give me no choice!" And as the blades once again converged upon the Jonin in co-ordination, Youhei knew it was his cue to entrance. It all happened in an instant. The floor rushing past him, the distance between him and the thing falling each moment. After a few select moments of sprinting, the boy halted, and pounded the ground below him with both speed and power. It held it's toll upon his legs, but that initial impact would soon make the ground fall beneath him. In a split second, he would be sent high into the air, a brown bag dangling by his side. "That's it!" All the while dropping with an exhilarating grin, the boy seemed to be having more fun than he should be having. "Eat," He twirled in the air a bit, experiencing the nice peaceful breeze of the wind. "My," Retrieving a fist from the bag, the boy formed a punch-like attack, as he proceeded to scream at the top of his lungs. "Salt!!" With a savior fist, Youhei would plummet downwards with a handful of the white condiment gripped in his hands tightly, an ember of valor flickering in his eyes. |
