Hyakuji 2.0 Template Character Name: Shirou Kishi Gender: Male Age: 17 Height: 173 cm Weight: 60 kg Description or Image of Character Appearance: ![]() Occupation: Student/Vanguard Fighter/Digimon Tamer Grade Level: Junior Powers/ Abilities: Shirou has no innate abilities of his own, though possesses a large number of items that have their own unique quirks about them. His greatest strength however lies within his imagination, being able to quickly piece together a plan based of what he is presented. This provides for a surprising amount of adaptability to any situation, allowing him to use any of his tools in a fairly efficient manner. Perhaps stemming from his nature as a Vanguard Fighter, he is more than capable of imagining his own victory, no matter how hopeless it all seems. Though, in order to make up for his own lack of actual abilities, Shirou is partnered with a creature known as a Digimon however. Through his D-Ark, Shirou is capable of supporting his partner through battle and the Tamer is well-versed in issuing rather precise orders. While bearing no real name other than what his form dictates, Guilmon is Shirou's loyal partner. Of course, while in battle he tends to go feral and easily follows Shirou's orders, the dragon Digimon is rather aloof otherwise. He is overly curious about the world around him and will often follow the most interesting thing (or smell) when left unattended. Despite his innocent nature however, Guilmon is still more than capable of defending both himself and his Tamer. As with most Digimon, he goes through several forms either when his Tamer is in danger or when Shirou allows for him to do so with his D-Ark. Guilmon is a bit hard to control however, and is often getting Shirou into trouble. Still, the two enjoy each others company and wish for no other partner. Baby - Jyarimon ![]() Jyarimon is a Slime Digimon and as such it is young and crispy. It is an extremely scarce Digimon, whose population is small. The Fresh-levels of Dragon-species Digimon are small in absolute number, and it is said that most of them are captured or die before they grow up. You wouldn't know it to look at it, but there are tiny, closely packed fangs growing within its mouth, and it is foreseen that it will grow into a powerful Dragon-species Digimon. Although it is powerless, it has the disposition to face those with bigger bodies than its own, and that becomes the reason for its low survival rate. Attacks
In-Training - Gigimon ![]() Gigimon is a Lesser Digimon who is quite energetic. He has a rough personality, and is ferocious despite its small size. There are more than a few even larger Digimon that were deceived by its appearance and suffered a counterattack. The temperature of its bites are hot like with Jyarimon. Attacks
Rookie - Guilmon ![]() Guilmon is a Reptile Digimon. It has an appearance like a dinosaur that still retains its youth. Although it is still a Rookie, its potential as a "Combat Species", something which all Digimon naturally possess, is very high, and it hides the ferocious personality of a carnivorous beast. The mark drawn on its abdomen is called the "Digital Hazard", which is inscribed on those that have the potential to cause massive damage to computer data. Attacks
Champion - Growmon ![]() Growmon is a Dark Dragon Digimon who is called the "Deep-crimson Demon Dragon". The childishness it had when it was Guilmon has vanished, and it digivolved into a wilder, more brutal Digimon. Also, although it is a Virus Digimon, Shirou's personality managed to keep him on the side of "justice", because it will be faithfully obedient. Growmon's roar has the power to shake the solid earth, and before battle it raises its voice to an offensive roar to intimidate the opponent Its shoulders are adorned with the symbol of the Digital Hazard. Attacks
Ultimate - MegaloGrowmon ![]() As its name suggests, its body has grown gigantic, and its upper body has been metallized with the strongest metal, "Chrome Digizoid". It is able to take flight with the two vernier attached to both of its shoulders, so it is possible for it to perform both anti-air and anti-ground attacks. In order to suppress its rampaging due to excess power, a restraining tool similar to a bit is attached to its jaw section. Also, since the "Assault Balancer" extending like a cable from its back section is extensible, it can be used to impale the opponent. It has the "Pendulum Blades" equipped to both of its arms. Attacks
Equipment You Have: As a Vanguard Fighter, he possesses two important things that mark him as one. The first, notably, is his deck. Shirou runs the Dimension Police clan and utilizes the Dimensional Robo archtype. The deck's focus is a powerful center line that aims to overwhelm his opponents. This deck represents the justice Shirou believes in, and its ace card, Great Daiyusha, can be said to be his own personal avatar. Dimensional Robo Decklist Vanguard Fight Gloves (Green) - The other mark of a Fighter is a pair of gloves that he is always seen wearing during an actual Cardfight. It is said to contain a piece of the planet Cray and allows the user to truly vision his units on the battlefield. When paired with the correct device, it allows for Cardfights to actually be viewed as if the Fighters were on the planet themselves. Beyond this, they contain no real special properties...though when used in tandem with another item in his possession, he is capable of something far greater than being good at a card game. D-Ark (Red/White) - An item which defines him as a Digimon Tamer. A strange device that came to being when Shirou made a fateful encounter with his comrade in arms, Guilmon. It serves a basic function of being able to scan and identify other Digimon, as well as track digital signals. However, it carries one extra function when used while he is wearing his Fight gloves. Rather than the traditional Digimon TCG (now defunct), he can "Card Slash" his Vanguard cards through the reader on the side, granting his partner extra abilities. He hasn't quite figured it out yet, but he has the following limits:
Ultimately, Vanguard cards do not carry the versatility of the intended card game. Unless specified, most of the cards in his possession simply give Guilmon extra attacks (whether or not they are effective is still uncertain). Noteworthy Card Slashes are as follows:
Residency Request: Yuki Schedule: Homeroom Teacher: Lavender 1) History 2) The Arts 3) Phys Ed Personality Description: Shirou is a friendly and courteous man. He can easily get along with most people, and often carries himself in a jovial manner all the time. He always tries to be gentle with people, and has no bad intentions with anyone. Although it has been shown that he can be a little confused from time to time and has a really odd dislike for attracting too much attention. However, it is known that he can get worked up over little things rather easily, especially when it is something that he is passionate about. Regardless of his odd quirks however, he is a strong leader and ultimately is a person who cares more about those who are around than rather than himself. He is strangely charismatic when it counts as well, though that could be his obsession kicking in more often than not. This often leads to a lot of big gambits, but somehow they end up working for him. Personal History: As a kid, Shirou was someone who was fascinated with History. Tales of old, both fiction and non, were something that easily caught the boy's attention. These tales are what inspired his sense of justice and what provided the basis for his ideals. He fashioned himself after the great heroes in these stories, the honorable Knights, and upheld a strict code of conduct since then. This is what inspired him to take up his favorite card game, Cardfight Vanguard. He couldn't help but take an interest in a game that revolved around an army's center and those that support him. It was through that his personal justice found a physical representation in his favored clan: the Dimension Police. He wasn't very good at the start and made a number of mistakes, but eventually made a name for himself in the Cardfight Circuits that the clan always brought up his own name when it was discussed. Of course, this normal life wouldn't last for Shirou. His imagination apparently attracted people and was gifted with a strange device from an old man at a Clock repair shop. It was said that his justice could very well bring the lost balance to the worlds, both digital and mythical. He was told that even Cray was in danger, but wasn't really sure what was meant by that. This encounter united Shirou with his loyal partner, Guilmon and soon enough, his quest to figure out what that strange man meant began. Along the way he had to fight other creatures like Guilmon however and as such his only clue was to follow those signals and Guilmon himself as he had a knack for searching them out. And the biggest concentration of these Digital Monsters...seemed to be in Hyakuji. Shirou is no closer to solving the mysteries of the Digital Hazard than when he started. However, he has begun to understand and deepen his relationship with his partner. Through this, he has been able to attain new forms and access to new cards. Further, he has been bringing Guilmon out more often rather than keeping him locked away...which only serves to let him cause more trouble at times. Mashed Potatoes? I imagine the proof is in Pudding. Edited by Yosuke, Jun 28 2014, 09:09 PM.
