The Not So Perfect One

Luke was bored during the holidays and found nothing much to do but explore the school grounds. He wasn't lucky enough to meet a senpai though so he had to explore on his own. A walk was the best solution as it would give some inspiration to what's life in Hyakuji. Luke dreamed of one day being able to scale and see every inch of Hyakuji but of course with close friends. He sighed a little before taking a sit on the stairway before the main gate. He hoped for someone adventurous to arrive in the scene. |

After a pretty eventful night and arriving and Hyakuji, Nadia was finally at campus. She had gone to prestigious schooling before, but they did not have dormitories and did not have the kind of studies that Hyakuji High offered. It was a kind of rare deal that Nadia couldn't pass up. So when she pulled up into the parking lot with her rental car and stepped out, she was a bit happy to see a school that was different. There was no doubt things would be exciting here. And with plenty of daylight to burn before she had to register for her dorm room, Nadia would get to do the fun stuff, explore! So, she would start things off with a walk around campus. Surely she would run into some one that would make things more interesting. This was a high school after all. Wearing a thin black cami and a pair of jean shorts, it wasn't that obvious that Nadia wasn't a student. She didn't have her uniform on, but since it was the weekend, mot many other students had it on either. Approaching the main gate, the pink haired girl took notice to a sighing boy. With a cute smile, she waved to him to get his attention. "Hi there, you a student? I kind of need some directions..." She asked, throwing a professional ice breaker on the field. |

Luke turned from bored to excited after he saw the oh so hot girl came to him and asked for directions. Luke quickly deduced that it was best to be friendly and not over doing the coolness he always has. “The name’s Luke.. I’m also kinda new here so I can’t really give directions. Sorry. If you don’t mind, I would be glad to follow you around. What’s your name then? You’re a student as well right?” Luke said shyly as he rubbed his neck and smiled to the girl. He wasn’t really good with conversing with girls as he rarely sees or talk to them. At the very least, he wished there was some kind of training for this. He would pay any price to get tips or even essentials to survive the ever changing world that is filled with fishes or in this case, girls. At any rate, he remained concentrated with the one he had in front of him, a girl in need, a new friend to be made. |

Nadia smiled as the boy responded. It seemed as though she wouldn't be the lone new person starting at the school and while she didn't know 'how' new the boy was, at least she felt more comfortable with this place. He introduced himself first, which was something that Nadia should have done to. She could already hear her parents in the back of her head scalding her for being impolite. "Where are my manners? My name is Nadia. I'm actually moving in today and starting classes on Monday." She answered. It was the weekend after all, so there were no classes going on right this moment. "And if we are both new around, how about we just take a walk? It'll definitely be more fun than going it alone and it'll help us both out." She added, nodding her head once as she finished speaking. |

“Alright sure.” Luke accepted the offer smoothly with a smile as he moved himself closer to get a handshake from Nadia. “Well then, let me be the first to welcome you to Hyakuji High, Nadia.” Added the pretty boy or bishounen which was what Luke was usually called by some of the normal girls. He was merely being courteous, plus its good meeting new people in a new place. It will bring life to those who had ran away from their original place. Like Luke, Nadia has her own story to tell, her own memories to share and her will to befriend someone new. “So where do you want to explore first?” Asked the boy curiously as he stood there enjoying the look of Nadia’s face as well as looking from top to bottom. Heck, Luke is a guy so why not? |

Nadia smiled as Luke gave her a formal introduction to the school. It was good to know the teens here were kind enough to do such things. And while Luke was only one person, it still gave Nadia a positive outlook on her time here. "Well thank you Luke. You're too kind." She responded with a genuine and warm smile. With that, she started to walk up the rest of the stairs and through the courtyard that was the front of the school. Looking to Luke as he spoke, she nodded to him. "Well, the best bet would be the administrative offices. I need to let them know that I'm here and what dormitory I'll be assigned to. You know which building that is by chance?" She questioned, walking firmly with a slow stride so they could have a conversation. |

Luke smiled back calmly. He felt much joy after making a new friend within the school grounds. It was a good feeling anyway, at least one won't feel left out nor alone. As they walked, Luke realised that they were walking to the wrong place and the admin office was on the other end of the building. So, Luke quickly raced in front of the girl and stopped her. "Well.. we are walking the.. wrong way.. The admin building is right there?" Pointed Luke towards the other end of the building as he said those words. It was an awkward moment as Luke did some kind of a giggle with his eyes closed while rubbing the back of his head with his left hand. "I hope i didn't insult you.." Added the teenager as he walked towards the other side. He wanted to get there as fast as possible to avoid anymore of these awkward situations. |

Nadia stopped abruptly as Luke stepped in front of her and spoke up. She turned in the direction that he was pointing to and leered to see what was there. "So it is. Good thing I have you along." She said to him as she turned on her heels and chuckled a bit. As she started to move in the direction, Luke felt the need to reassure her that he wasn't trying to be insulting. She looked at him and put on a frown. "Yes...yes you did! You're a horrible person and I want you to stay away from me forever you loser!" She yelled, staying quiet a moment before breaking a smile and laughing. "Nah, it's cool, you have no reason to think you insulted me. Let's get going." She said, waving him on and as she started to head for the building. "So what made you come to the school? I assume everyone here has their own special gifts." |

Luke was shocked a little and stepped back as she yelled at him. It was still quite a sad thing to know but it was normal and Luke took it as constructive criticism. Right after Nadia said it was cool, Luke turned the opposite side with his back facing Nadia for a moment where he let out a huge sigh of relief. He was basically trying to be friendly and it was still alright before turning back and smiling. Soon after as they walked towards the office where Nadia posed a serious question to be answered. "Well.. I guess you could say it was for my protection.. I trust that my coming here was fated anyway.." Luke replied calmly as he looked towards the blue sky for a moment. "Plus, its more interesting here compared to the closed systems of my old home.." Added the boy who was filled with mixed feelings of his coming. |

Nadia nodded to his response. She could understand where he was coming from. Not all gifts were safe and welcome. Sometimes they were dangerous and other times they could not be controlled. At least here, they had the facilities to handle most situations and could keep things together. It was a safe haven for many and Nadia respected that. While she was here for her own reason, she wouldn't judge someone else based on why they were here. "Well, it seems like you like it, so I'm glad. I'm just here to get away from my family. They like to meddle and I can't really stand it. Besides, I needed to get out of the high society culture. It was boring." She said to him with a giggle. It wasn’t long before they reached the building and at their destination. "This the one?" She questioned, pointing to it with her thumb. |
