"Store seems quiet today..." "Well with your little girlfriend MIA, and Star busy with other things, it seems as if your the only one with nothing going on. Ha! That's got to be sad Ikki!" "Shut up Kal! Although now that you bring it up, I am worried about Tarin...she has never been gone this long...but I guess she has to help her dad out with some important mission....not much I could do, or say to stop her.." To those that didn't know about Ikki's situation it would seem as if the boy was holding a conversation with himself, but to the few people that knew him well, they would easily be able to tell that he was once again locked in a conversation with the demon that had been residing inside the young male. "Hate to say it, but I miss the little runt. At least when she was here your life was exciting, I miss the battles that arcadia was in, when will the next mission be?!" "You act like I know...its whenever Hiro-sensei gives the call...besides, I like the down time..gives me a chance to study, and actually catch up on my school work, and finish the stuff mom sent for me to do, so I'm not complaining...besides summer is almost here, and that means I'm going to be spending time with mom again, so you need not be in a hurry to see action, I'm sure we will see plenty...soon enough..." Ikki said as he finished putting some books away, as he turned to look around the store. It was empty, and to be honest Ikki liked it that way, it gave him a chance to poke around the back room when Hiro wasn't around, although he was one to follow orders, he couldn't help but study some of the older books that his leader kept locked away. "I hope Hiro cooks you alive for looking at his books.." "Your just mad because I found that book on Atlantis...which by the way...why are you so against finding this place? I couldn't imagine why you would care..." He asked as he began to dust off some shelves as he attended to his duty's within the store. He had been curious as to why Kal had avoided anything to do with the city of atlantis, but figured it was just the old demons cranky ways. Ikki glanced out the window as he watched the people go about their daily lives. He had to admit, it felt good to have a moments peace in his life, even if he was sure it wouldn't last long. "Hey Kal...do you think its possible for a person to become so comfortable...that they lose sight of their dreams?" "Oh there you go again..trying to sound all deep and profound...I don't know how Tarin puts up with you...but if your asking me do I feel your slacking from the real reason you came here, and no I don't mean the impress Hiro goal...then yea...you have lost your way slightly, but that's human nature kid...your still growing, that and you need to hang out with your guy friends more..." "Hahahaha I only have one guy friend...and Meglumar...isn't the 'Let's hang out and play COD type'" He said with a chuckle as he made his way towards the front desk, opening up a book as he went over his supernatural studies work. Maybe he did lose his way, or maybe deep in Ikki's heart, he just didn't care anymore. Edited by Crow Hiroshima, Mar 17 2012, 03:22 PM.

(I'm so sorry that I've taken so long to post this.) Hayzel fiddled with his rosary as he walked down the streets of the inner part of Hyakuji. Having grown curious about the origin of his grandmother's heirloom, the boy had visited the local museum. While he was there a woman in the Egyptology department had enthusiastically explained that what he through was some sort of religious cross was actually an Ankh that had been fabled to relate to the fall of Atlantis. The woman had corrected herself by saying Atlantis has been proven to not exist, but the concept still seemed to excite he; not to mention the fact that most things thought not possible somehow become reality when Hyakuji is involved. His curiosity unwavering, the boy had decided that he'd head to the local bookshop to find out more about Atlantis. Finding himself at the entrance to Eldritch Influence the boy gently pushed inside then looked around the shop. Not wanting to waist his time browsing he went to the front desk only to find that the book he was looking for seemed to in use by someone in the store was using it at the moment. Sighing, the boy began to flip his tail around then look out into the store. At first he thought that he should leave and come back later, but being an impatient person he decided to peep over people's shoulders until he found the book she was looking for. Going from table to table, the neko began to spy on the various patrons of the bookstore. Nearing someone that seemed to be reading out loud to himself, he quietly stood on his tip toes, trying to see over his shoulders. Normally he'd have perfect balance due to his tail, but unfortunately a store clerk passed by and brushed the appendage out of the way, causing him to fall over on top of the boy reading. "Oh! I'm so sorry, it was an accident," the boy said while pushing away from the brown haired male. Edited by Hayzel, Mar 20 2012, 03:31 PM.

(No problem) Ikki sat undisturbed for quite some time, only turning to look at the door when a customer or two came on. It was always like this, girls comming to the shop to find books on love potions, or the wanna-be mage trying to learn more about magic, or in the most common of cases, the Arcadia member looking for the entrance, either way, Ikki helped them as best he could, and went about his day. He listened as a few customers talked, making sure not to dive too deep into their conversations, he didn't like spying on other people, no matter how much Tarin would say it is necessary to know more about them. It was when she made comments like that, that Ikki found a need to check his room for wire-taps. But his peace would soon be interrupted as a figured suddenly started to loom over the young boy, causing him to turn to see who it was, but before he could turn, suddenly the figure was on him, causing him to fall over onto the floor. "What the hell?!" Ikki said with a grunt as he looked up to see the blonde before him. What was this guys problem? Did he want to fight? "Yo! What's with falling on me! You need something? Its just as easy to get my attention by just asking for help, not falling over on me!" He said with a highly annoyed tone. It wasn't like Ikki to get so upset by something so small, but more then a kid falling on him was bothering the young boy at the moment. "Welcome to Eldritch Influence....how may I help you?" Ikki asked, still clearly upset, but deciding it was best to just do his job, and move on. Besides it wasn't this kid that had him upset, it was something more. |

Hayzel blushed darkly and gave a slight bow. "I'm so sorry! Someone knocked me over," he explained while apologizing for a second time. After brushing of his clothes a bit, the boy looked up to the other male then gave him a shy look. "I-I'm looking for a book on Atlantis, but the clerk at the front desk said someone was looking at it," he said, his face twinging with embarrassment, "So I decided to look around to see if anyone has it with them." The boy folded back his ears in embarrassment, feeling bad that he upset the other. Pulling out his rosary, he began to gently roll the beads around between his fingers before turning around to face the opposite direction. "Again, I'm sorry to have bothered you. I'll be going now."
