Mina wouldn't have done this. Especially not with Nana. She really doesn't know how it managed to happen, but since the last time they met Mina had been deathly avoiding even the mere mention of Oliver's name in her room. Saying that she hated him would be an understatement. She just wanted him dead. But... at the same time she herself doesn't know why she seriously hated him. Because he was a pervert? Because he was extremely blunt? Because he had no tact? She couldn't think of anything that could actually warrant Mina hating her at all. And deep down... there is a part of her that felt like all this hating was completely nonsensical. Like a child throwing a tantrum over something stupid and pointless on Mina's part... And that part of Mina had left her this morning, before she was even awake. Mimi had gotten off bed early that day, donned her work clothes just out of habit and went out, leaving Nana to continue snoozing in bed. Well, she's asleep, so the effect shouldn't be too bad. After reassuring herself that her other half wouldn't die in her sleep she started making her way out of the dormitory, and set off towards the one place she supposed she could find him, the Willicott Detective Agency. Mimi just... wanted a talk with him. That's all. And in what seemed like no time at all, she was there. Her hands raised and hesitating slightly. Can she really do this? He... sort of hated her as well. What if he just slammed the door on her face, or simply ignored her? But... even if that was the case, she can't blame him. He would simply be returning a similar kind of hate towards her. Nothing more, nothing less. So it was... kind of her fault as well... ...No. No, she has to settle this. Her mother wouldn't have wanted her to have a fight over something so trivial like this. With her face set she knocked on the door. |

Oliver was always early to rise. Part of his military background, he supposed. Well it wasn't like he particularly enjoyed waking up early but it was a part of him and so he just went with it. First thing he did in the morning was clean his room, do his clothes, and eat breakfast. All discipline he learned a long time ago in a different life. Sometimes he wondered what the point of continuing this routine was, but most of the time he simply went with it. Next he went downstairs and began his workout. An hour of punching backs, running, and practicing his self defense. Sometimes with Chetri, sometimes on his own. He had the doorbell set up to ring down there as well, in case a client showed up or someone dropped by. And that's why when he heard the bell he was still downstairs. Oliver grabbed a towel off the rack, drying off his hair as he headed back upstairs. He was in a think black sleeveless under armour shirt. He tossed the towel over his shoulder, exiting the elevator and going to the door. He checked the little indicator light, making sure whomever was out there was friendly. Green, all clear. He opened the door asnd turned walking to the kitchen. "Come in." "Sorry I'm kind of a mess, you caught me in the middle of my workout." He said grabbing a waterbottle from the fridge, turning and leaning on the counter as he looked towards the guest. He practically choked drink as he recognized exactly whom it was at his door. He apparently needed to reprogram the light to indicate angry bitches as hostiles. "Oh, uhm.. What's up?" He said in a dry tone. "Need help on a case..?" He couldn't imagine it was a personal visit, and yet her asking for help on a case was equially ridiculous. He really for the life of him couldn't imagine why she was here. "Ah! Uh... uhm, s-sorry..." She couldn't help but jump a little in surprise, after opening the door to find him in... under armor? Was he training or something? "Did... did I interrupt you or something...? I'm sorry if I did!" The girl went ahead and bowed to him apologetically, looking about as flustered as she was sorry. It was clear from her demeanor alone that she wasn't Mina. Just a part of her who somehow had decided to wander around all by herself. She really shouldn't be bothering him at the moment, but... "I... hope you don't mind... Can we have a talk...? It's about Mina," She was a bit surprised he didn't just toss her out already. That only goes to show who was the more mature one here. And, well... the girl was relieved about it, at least. If it didn't make her feel a bit ashamed of herself. |

"Mimi..." Oliver said, instantly understanding the situation. Mina never would act like this. He wasn't exactly sure what the deal was with those two, but Mimi was much nicer and kinder and less assertive. In other words she was Oliver's ideal woman. When Jameson split into two it divided his personality, but this seemed different. He couldn't even imagine a world in which Mina had a side like this. Sure she had moments where she got shy, but he chalked it up to inexperience with men more than having a softer side. So then what was the relationship between Mimi and Mina? WAS she Mina? Or was she more like a spirit that resided in the girl? It was all pretty confusing to try and puzzle out and it wasn't long at all until he decided to stop trying. Especially when he had the girl right in front of him that had all the answers. As for why she was here.. taking her personality into account and everything else he could pretty much assume. Especially with how she was acting. He sighed heavily as he leaned forward, no longer leaning on the counter. Normally he'd take whatever she said in justification of her actions or in appology and move on but something seemed wrong with all this. "I don't mind talking about things with a pretty girl, but isn't it kind of wrong?" He said with a frown. "The things you'll say... Mina wouldn't say them. So it feels like it's not really from the heart. Even if you were to apologize maybe only a small part of Mina feels that way? So the real Mina wouldn't apologize at all. It feels like it isn't real, I guess.." |

"...So are you saying I'm not real?" All of a sudden her amiable and shy demeanor took a slight turn to the stern side. Before neither knew it a slight trace of anger was slipped into her voice, her eyes narrowed ever so slightly as she stared unblinkingly at him. "Are you saying that just because I'm not prominent, I don't exist at all?" She certainly looked angry now. Not to the point that Mina would get, but for someone who is naturally shy and reserved, it's easier to tell when they're angry. She stood her ground, standing at the doorway with her fist clenched tight, saying with a low voice, "Whether I'm Mimi or Nana, I am still Mina. Things I can say, Mina can say them. Even if I'm just a small part of Mina's heart I'm still a part of Mina," You can tell, by the way she's trying to defend herself, that she is indeed Mina. She would do her best to make herself the right one, even if it means having to completely contradict a fact or fiction. "I thought she was just hating you and being completely baseless, but I think I just found an excuse for her to hate you," She will stand her ground, and she stood her ground. If Oliver doesn't want to accept her apology, then fine. ...That is what Nana would say. And what Nana would say, Mina, too, would say them. But right now, she's not Nana. She's Mimi. And what Mimi would do is she would try to bring the conversation back to a much more civil tone, rather than let it fly off the handle. ...Like Nana. She gave a sigh, relinquishing the force on her hands and unfurled her fist as she swallowed down her anger. "...But a small part of her does not wish for this to happen at all. Deep down she regrets it, and wanted to make it up. Her mother isn't the kind of person who would make enemies," |

"Woah woah, calm down.." He said waving his hands in front of himself. Man, she really could get worked up. She really WAS like Mina after all. A small thing sets her off and suddenly she was going on a long winded rant. However, Oliver did imagine that his words were a bit cruel. For Mimi whom was only half a person and the half most often hidden away being told she didn't exist must be hard. He sighed heavily as he listened to her and shook his head. "Mother this.. mother that.. I'm sure your mom was an amazing lady but it's not fair to compare yourself to someone else all the time.. Well I guess we're getting off topic with that." He said rubbing his neck awkwardly. The fact was if they went down that route he'd probably just make her more angry than she already was. He leaned back, mulling over what she said. He'd ignore the 'reason to hate you' thing as just another example of Mina overreacting. As if he was supposed to know how her power worked right off the bat, he couldn't be blamed for having doubts, right? Only an idiot would assume everything worked the way they wanted it to and just go with that. "She wants to make up...Why? It's not like it matters right? I'll be fine even if she hates me and she has her own life. It's not necessary for the two of us to get along." He still had a hard time even believing that she wanted to apologetic at all. She seemed pretty clear in her pure hatred last time. Not the sort of thing that was ambiguous, when you shoot someone in the head. He rubbed his forehead with a glower. "Listen, maybe it's for the best we just leave things as they are.." |

She was actually stumped on that. Just as she had no solid reason to actually hate Oliver, she had no solid reason as to why she would make up with him at all. It was just as he had said. It's better isn't it? It's easier to just... let it be. Just forget about each other, don't bother to associate yourself with the other, it's just a pain in the ass to continue doing so. She doesn't have to apologize, she just have to... move on. But she can't accept that... "...Is it wrong to want to do something just because you want to...?" The girl muttered somewhat dejectedly, her shoulders slumping in disappointment. "Do I really need a reason to want to make up?" |

"It's not wrong." He said quickly as he looked at her. It seemed like she really was struggling with this. If it was something like that.. something she'd decided after working on it so much in her mind, then even he couldn't complain. He'd have to accept this. But just any kind of acceptance was wrong. After she'd come all the way he owed her at least a good one. One that she'd remember. He sighed heavily and stood to his feet, approaching her he took both arms and put them at his side. Oliver wasn't a man for whom pride meant much. He lied to survive for years, and even now he would lie, cheat, or steal to get by. To him pride was an idiot's game. To get caught up in your own delusion of superiority that you worried about ridiculous things like bowing. Well, but, he could say that all he wanted but it really was hard to bow to someone else when you're a man! He leaned forward, bowing his head to her. He closed his eyes taking in a deep breath. "Shouldn't I be the one saying sorry..?" He said slowly. "In the end I dragged you out against your will... all for my own selfish desires. I was nothing but a burden from start to finish... So.. I'm sorry." He said before standing up. He flashed her a small sheepish smile, rubbing his neck awkwardly. "Let's just call it even at that.." He said, feeling rather embarrassed. "Your intentions got through to me. You don't have to worry.." |

You know, she wanted to apologize to him, so why didn't she expect he would take it? Well, it was more because she didn't expect that he would apologize as well, so she was a bit surprised. Mina would have denied it, but Mimi alone... she accepted it quickly enough, with a big meek grin to boot. "Eheh... I guess we're both sorry then?" This was better than Mimi expected. At this point the two might even be able to hang out as friends! ...But then again, there's still Nana... Mimi may have apologized but she still feared that her other half's pride would override this comple- A sudden jolt of pain shot through her head. Her vision suddenly pulsed with red veins, eyes blurring as she fell hard on her knees. One word escaped her mouth with a gasp, "N-Nana-", before she slumped forward and crashed on the floor, completely unconscious and motionless. ...Wait, how long has it been since they were separated?! |

Well that had resolved nicely.. If only she were this easy to deal with all of the time he'd probably Heh, yeah right. However this quiet moment couldn't last for long. Especially not when Mina was involved. The fact he had made it this long was proof that only half of her was in front of him. However this wasn't some argument or case, she collapsed right in front of him! He leaped to her, grabbing her in his arms before she hit the floor. He stared at her, completely dumbfounded for a moment before finally snapping from his reverie. "Eh...? Ehhhh?!?" Oliver said in shock. This was bad! She was out cold.. she said something about Nana.. Was Nana in trouble? Or was the reason she passed out Nana? Either way that was the only clue Oliver had to go on for now. He picked the girl up and turned to his bike.. Well.. part of him was glad she was out cold for what followed.. ~~~ He threw his shoulder into the door, forcing it open. He'd picked the lock easily, something she'd no doubt be quite upset to learn, and got into her room. No one seemed to be home so he'd let himself in. "Hello..? Nana..?" He said quickly surveying the room for the girl. He moved back to her room, still carrying Mimi. He moved into the room and spotted Nana.. also unconscious.. Nothing left to do. He dropped the girl onto the bed gently, adjusting them for comfort. He'd just have to call the doctor. |

Quite possibly a subconscious reaction the two had, the danger of being separated for too long prompted their brains to think, 'The moment they're back together they have to merge immediately.' So the moment Oliver had placed both of them on bed together, there was but one Mina. That somehow seemed to do the trick, the girl finally stirring slowly after being unconscious for so long. The girl gave a somewhat painful groan as she opened her bleary eyes, raising her hand to rub her head. "W-Winston...?" She gave a weak mumble upon noticing the other person, wondering what is he doing here. The last time she remembered seeing him was at the office... to apologize to him... then he apologized as well... ...Uwah. Honestly, she couldn't believe everything from before had just happened. It really does goes to show that, even if Mimi was a part of Mina, she's missing Nana, the much more prominently prideful part of her when she went to Oliver. He was right, the real Mina would never personally go to him just to apologize. But she did. A part of her at least. And let it be known that even if it's just a small part of her, she's still Mina. She had went to Oliver, she had apologized. He apologized as well. She will accept it. Sometimes it's the small part that can do the biggest of change. Yeah yeah, we get it. Well, putting that aside... she couldn't remember what happened next, really. Her body had unconsciously split when she was asleep and had been separated for... quite a while. Everything just went black after meeting Oliver. And now she's awake, back in her dormitory room with Oliver besides her. "...I see. Your help was appreciated," It wasn't that hard to deduce what just happened. Being a psychic is an added bonus to deduction. "But your concern is no longer needed. I am fine now," The girl said to reassure him as she slid her leg off the bed to get up to her feet, only to have her knees give away the moment she got off the bed and fall down to the floor with a crash, her head spinning. It was too much to hope that she would be fine. She had been separated far longer than she had been before and her brain had taken a massive toll. She couldn't think or stand up straight, her vision was fuzzy, she was feeling hot despite the cold morning atmosphere, her breathing was shallow and labored... |

Oliver sighed heavily as he caught the girl in his arms. He'd now caught her two times, she kind of owed him one for that. He'd make sure she was made well aware of it later. But for now making sure she didn't die was most important. As soon as he felt her head from catching her he knew the source of her problems. She was sick! In such a state, how could he leave her alone? No matter what he had to help her now. That was part of his pride as a male. What a pain... He laid her down on the bed, and brushed her hair back from her face. "Stay."He commanded. "If you want me to leave then you have to get better first." He said taking his hands from her head and placing them onto his sides. He wandered over to the sink and got some rags, wetting them and putting ice in them. He walked over to her placing one on her forehead to cool it. However, he stopped and held his chin. He eyed her for a moment. "Should we... take off your shirt?" He said looking to her. "I mean if the objective is to cool you down.." He said barely hiding a grin. Even now he couldn't stop himself from teasing her. "Ohhh~ The pants too~ Maybe you should be completely naked??" |

He got a pillow thrown hard at his face. Well, at least it's a pillow and not a brick-bullet thing. And it was more of a reflexive action of her annoyance at his habit than anything else. Though she was a bit too weak to even talk at the moment and all she could do was growl at him before slumping back into her bed with her face hidden under her arm. Dammit, she can't toss him out at all now, can she? It definitely sounded as though he would not budge even if she threatened to shoot him in the head again. Crud dammit... "...Then if I get better, will you leave?" The girl mumbled slowly under her breath. "...Can you get out of this room for a moment...?" It was less of an order and more of a request. The girl paused for a moment before lowering her arm, noticing that he was still there. "Oh, come on! I cannot change with you here!" The girl yelled hoarsely at him, her face burning redder than it already was, this time the blanket and tossed it feebly at him just to shoo him out. Is he really staying here to help her get better or is he here just to tease her to death?! Literally?! |

"Hahaha~ Fine fine~" He said as he turned his back to the girl, stepping out of the room and closing the door before sighing heavily. Even with a fever she was no fun~ ~~~ His cooking skills were average at best. He had a few meals he could prepare well but not a wide range and it mainly came from training on the matter and not some innate skill. His knowledge of which spices compliment which meat was basically nonexistent, but given a recipe that told him what needed done he could prepare anything with relative competence. So that was all to say that very soon after he came back into the room with a bowl of rice porridge that was actually quite good, and some chicken broth soup, easy on solids since she was so weak. Chicken soup was what they gave a cold in America, the rice was for her Japanese side. Wait is that racist? Well whatever, he just wouldn't say it out loud. He moved over to her, placing a hand on her forehead as he leaning in close to her, trying to gauge how her fever was doing. "Mmm.... Still not well..." He turned to the food and grinned a bit. "Shall I spoon feed you..?" |

The girl couldn't help but give a little squeak of nervousness when he leaned close to check on her. Well, at the very least she's not shooting him anymore at the slightest of touch, yes? "I still say you do not have to do all this..." The girl said with her face red, half-hidden by the blanket she pulled up to her eyes. Hard to tell whether she's actually annoyed by him being here or was just embarrassed that he was actually staying to help her get better. The girl stared at him bringing her rice porridge AND chicken soup. Oh come on, one should be enough, right? It's not like she could actually eat all of them! "I can feed myself, thank you very much!" The girl snapped abashedly, reaching out to snatch the rice porridge from his hand. But in her haste the girl accidentally spilled quite a bit of the content on herself, "OW!" eliciting a yelp pain from the girl as the scalding hot porridge splashed her hand. Like that's the end of it. Out of reflex the girl tossed the bowl away at Oliver's face. First a brick-sized bullet, now a bowl of steaming and scalding hot rice porridge. His life sure is fun. |
