"Eh..? How is it my fault.. You're the one that decided to split and acted all weird.." He said staring at her for a moment before sighing. Whatever, he was probably going to be blamed for this no matter what so he'd just go along with it for now without putting up a fight. Even if he tried she'd just give him grief anyhow.

.. man, what a pathetic situation...

However matters only got worse when she revealed all her massive stacks of books. He couldn't help but stare at it all in amazement. "You're... You're crazy..." He said before cracking up. This was too much, everything that had happened until now was a lot but this was seriously too much! The way she studied suited her personality too much that it made it even funnier!

"This is your problem.. like.. everything that's wrong with you. This is it. You work so hard, harder than anyone, and yet because you're working so hard you try to do too much and end up worse off than if you'd never tried at all.." He said gesturing to the stack of materials. He grabbed her note book and flipped through it before tossing it in the trash, along with several others. "All of this is worthless.."

He turned to her and placed a hand on her shoulder. "Now before you get mad calm down and listen... This is all way too much. No one on Earth could memories all this material. You're putting in a lot of effort but working hard doesn't get you much if you're using more energy than you need to trying to do more than is possible.."

"Like these notes... you don't need notes on every single thing. You need to take notes of only the most important bits, your brain is an amazing organ. It actually very rarely forgets things. But the connections to the information weaken and are lost. Meaning all your notes need to do is remind you of the stuff you already know. Fewer notes on only the most important bits will reestablish the mental connections and then you'll recall the rest on your own."

He sighed heavily. "Okay, let's start on just the material for tomorrows make up exam. Then we'll meet again some other time and work on the other subjects."

He took out a very small, very neat folder of notes. One page for each class meeting organized efficiently. "Another key is always type your notes after class, it will keep the material fresh in your mind and reinforce the memories of it."

"Okay let's begin.."

...AND THEN THAT WENT ON FOR A LONG TIME...

Oliver yawned loudly as he set his pencil down. "Based on the latest run through of the material.." He said stretching out. He sat down took out his red marker and drew.... a 0....

And then he put an 8 in front of it. "You got an 80%" He said with a grin. "I wrote down the corrections.. You've really improved a lot.." He said as he stood up, stretching his legs.

She was still mad at him for tossing out all of her hard-earned notes without even contemplating about what might happen to him, but his more than sensible explanations just kind of stopped her from doing anything. So she went through his tutoring being all grumpy and grumbling darkly at his explanations, barely seeming to want to take a word he's saying at all.

But even with her lack of attention...

"...80%" The girl repeated with a slight look of disbelief on her face, holding the paper in front of her and staring at the big red 80% at the top left corner. "You... you are not joking..." She muttered lightly under her breath, somewhat feeling a bit lost after seeing her marks. Undoubtedly the girl was feeling quite euphoric knowing that her score had improved by 80% after a few hours of tutoring. This... this is incredible! This is--wait. The girl managed to hold herself back as she glanced at Oliver. Please, be reminded. It was this... thing, that taught her.

...Yeah, he taught her. And?

And... dammit, it's him! She seriously can't live knowing it was HIM who had helped her!

So? He helped you, right? What's so bad about that?

Well...! Well...

N-nothing's bad about it, it's just... well...

Nope. Her pride triumphed yet again. "Humph! Obviously I would improve! There is no way my performance could deteriorate much further, can it?" She is either being very arrogant at the moment or she's just being deathly honest. I mean, can she really get any worse than a zero? "But enough of this! Let us continue!" The girl said determinedly, tossing aside the paper and shoved another book in front of her with so much enthusiasm.

She... certainly wouldn't admit it in front of him, but he's been quite a help for her, and she's really grateful for it. And... well. Part of her was actually having fun studying for once. Even with him around.

Oliver sighed heavily in defeat. Was this really as grateful as she could be? They'd gone through all that and she was still treating him like the scum of the Earth. He'd been here tutoring her for five hours of his own time and yet she was acting like he was a scum bag! It really irritated him!

Wait.. five..?

BAM BAM BAM

Oh crap.

"The dorm levels are closing" Came a voice from the door. "Someone said a boy was still up here." The voice called in once more. "Hello?"

After eight the floors were closed down, girls and boys were separated to their own levels and the entrances between were locked with a keycard access. Of course the school's security was nothing Oliver couldn't handle but this situation wasn't good. He didn't even bring his Iphonic which meant no dreamweaver and no invisibility.

Oliver reacted without thinking. He grabbed her and pulled her along with him into the closet and slammed the door shut behind them. "Sorry! I really can't get a demerit!" He said glancing over his shoulder. "If I get one more I'm gonna get in serious trouble.. You'll get one too if she finds us so keep quiet!" All that skipping class was finally coming around to bite him in the ass.

He held a finger to his lips, "shhh"ing her as he looked out, completely oblivious to the fact they were crammed in like sardines for the moment.

Well he was only oblivious to it for a moment, so enjoy it.

The same went to her as well, I guess. Oblivious to the fact that they're cramped together like sardines in a cramped and dark closet only for a moment. But the moment she realized it, unlike him, she's definitely not enjoying this. ...Or does she?

OF COURSE NOT!!! "H-hey! What is... you are too close, stay away!" The girl hissed in irritation and embarrassment, trying and failing to shove him away from her. There's really not much spaces for them to be any more separate than they are now in the closet. Which is... being pressed against each other without being able to even move a muscle. It was pretty unnoticeable in the darkness of the closet, but her face was flaring red, blushing furiously at their current predicament. "Y-you bastard! You probably had this planned from the beginning! I knew I should not have trusted you--KYAH!"

A high-pitched shriek that was probably loud enough to be heard from outside of the room, considering her naturally loud voice. "Y-you idiot...! Don't touch me there!" She recoiled slightly, tensely grasping a handful of his shirt, blushing even more than previously thought possible. What the hell is this?! This pervert is seriously just taking advantage of this inconvenient situation! Being squeezed together so tightly like this in such a cramped space, with the atmosphere getting all hot and stuffy, the girl herself starting to sweat slightly from the heat, and the fact that she's reacting to just being in such close proximity with a male isn't helping her at all! It really couldn't be helped, this is probably the first time she had ever been so close to someone of the opposite sex before... and it's seriously bothering her a lot!

This... this is bad... she couldn't stand this anymore... screw demerit, she's getting out of here!

And... she's not getting out. A demerit... sounded scary... An Ace Inspector can't receive a demerit... It'll destroy her reputation as the all-perfect Xanadu, daughter of the Reality Breaker...

Why is her pride so strong...?

"...J-just... just don't... move... p-please..." The girl whimpered slightly, gripping tightly on his shirt as she leaned her head weakly on him.

He glanced down at her, eyes wide in surprise as she grew meek. He really... didn't expect her to have a side like this.. It was... shockingly attractive. He definitely wanted to molest her. Even so he wouldn't. When she'd asked so weakly and when she seemed so piitiable how could he do something then and call himself a man."You can trust me just a bit. I wouldn't touch a girl if she didn't want me too."

Even he was blushing a bit though. There.. W-Where was there? Where had he.. exactly.. Gh! Not a good thing to focus on. However before he could continue the sound of a door opening startled him. Footsteps could be heard clearly outside the door. He placed a hand on Mina's head, patting it gently to try and calm her.

The footsteps drew nearer. He was getting a bit worried... They were really checking thoroughly!

"Hey we found someone!"

"What?" The voice in the room replied, before rushing out of the room to join in the hunt.

Oliver sighed in relief.. "Thank god.."

Although he wasn't moving. Perfectly content to stay there.

She was admittedly a bit too scared to actually notice the teacher leaving the room. The girl was shaking as she stood there, clutching on to him as though her life depended on it. The silence went on, and on, and on...

...

Wait a second...

The girl finally raised her head, staring at the tightly shut closet door next to her. "Is... is she gone...?" The girl asked with a small voice, her grip relinquishing slightly, though still not brave enough to check it out herself. But... well. She really doesn't have to. Slowly turning her eyes back at Oliver she stared at him for a bit, eyes widening slightly as the girl picked up his emotions. The lack of worry, the feeling of relief, and especially... that somewhat excited feeling he's having that overpowered everything else. "You... THE TEACHER'S BEEN GONE A LONG TIME AGO, HASN'T SHE?!" Her eyes suddenly flared in anger, grasping his shirt tight and tossed him aside, sending him crashing out of the closet door and to the floor! "I HATE YOU, YOU KNOW THAT! I HATE YOU, I HATE YOU, I HATE YOU!!!" With her face flaring red in embarrassment she started tossing anything that's within her reach at him, most of which were her apparels in the closet, which consists of her everyday work clothes, sweaters, tracksuits, and she was probably too angry at him that she didn't realize she's tossing her underwear as well. "GET OUT FROM THIS PLACE AND NEVER SHOW YOUR FACE HERE EVER AGAIN!!!"

"Hate?" He said looking at her for a moment before seeming geniuinely hurt. "Hate.." He paused and glanced to the door, ignoring the bra on his head."Ergh..... That one's my fault.." He said shielding himself from the clothes. "I er.. got a bit carried away... It's not not like I did something indecent though! All I did was.. not.. move.. quick enough... Augh whatever! All your yelling is gonna make them return!" He said sheepishly. He turned and moved to the door, the sound of teachers returning was clear. He pulled the window open and leaped out, scaling the exterior of the building until he reached a tree, which he used to climb down.

"H...Hate.." He said with a sigh. "She really is impossible to crack."

~~~
A few days later Oliver was waiting outside the classroom when she emerged. He'd been purposely avoiding her to give her a chance to calm down for a while now. But this was the day the results from her make up exam would be shown. The fruits of his labors would finally show in her improved score, she might even be grateful for once! Not to mention the yukata plan.
Either way as soon as she emerged and was far from her classmates he approached. "Don't get upset, I'm just seeing how you did after the tutoring.." He said quickly. "After that I'm gone and you won't have to lay eyes on me!" He really had a hard time feeling like all that was his fault. She's the one who grabbed his shirt and leaned on him! Besides, he didn't even DO anything!
Urgh, so annoying..
The girl emerged from the classroom with... an unnaturally cheerful smile on her face, staring happily at a piece of paper she's holding in front of her. But upon noticing Oliver the girl immediately dropped the smile, putting on the extremely sour face she made a note of to always put on when confronting him. The girl simply stayed silent, glaring daggers at him as he stated his intentions. But after a few moments she slapped the piece of paper on his face.
83%.
Well. That's quite decent. Even if it's not exactly up to par with the 'usual' Xanadu's standard. "I didn't get a 100%. How do you explain that? Oh, I know, your teaching is sub-par, to say the least," The girl couldn't help but be condescending towards him in any way possible. Even if she was, deep down, very grateful towards him. If it wasn't for him she'd probably had to stay at school for Golden Week... God, but she will never admit that.
"Mina-san~" Suddenly came a voice behind her, and her friend popped out of nowhere. "I didn't think you'd get something other than another zero, that's great! You must've taught her well!" Ruki said to Oliver. "Did she give you any trouble? She hasn't done anything?"
"We have not done anything, if you must know, Ruki!" Mina replied in a defiant tone, her face turning red slightly remembering yesterday's incident. "All he did was come up to my room just so he could molest me to his heart's content! ...NOT THAT HE DID IT, MIND YOU!" The girl added hastily, noticing the look of shock and glee from Ruki. "A-anyway! We are leaving!" She said angrily, stomping away and leaving the two alone.
"Waah... she's like a completely different person..." Ruki said with a giggle as she watched her striding down the hallway with her nose high in the air. "I really dunno what you did, but it's nice to see her being less uptight for once," Seriously though, before Mina has got to be the strictest person she had ever known throughout the entire school. "Oh wait... she told me to give you this," Remembering something, she took out a piece of paper from her pocket, handing it to Oliver. The paper was folded, and if he unfolded it he'd find writings that reads:
"Start of Golden Week. Izanai Park. 8:00 a.m. Do not be late, or I will kill you go home,"
The girl simply stood there, eying him gleefully for his reaction.
"Haaahh..." He said frustrated as she stormed off. Storm was a good work for her. Rushing in, causing a panic, stirring things up and making a mess, and then leaving as quickly as she appeared for others to deal with the mess she left behind. Her actions were erratic and self destructive. She was, all in all, a pain in the ass. He eyed the paper and hunched forward.
'This is basically a date, right? I don't even know if I want such a thing with this annoying girl.' He sounded completely exhausted. 'I'm already at my limit for patience..' This was actually true. He was interested in girls for three things. Flirting, fun, and H things. There was no way a girl like that would flirt, she was the exact opposite of fun, and her definition of 'pervert' was seeing her in a swimsuit..
Perhaps it really was time to jsut call it a loss and give up on this one. She wasn't going to go anywhere any time soon and playing the long game was ridiculous. If he wanted a long drawn out relationship of only his one-sided feelings for a girl that annoyed the crap out of him he could already have there.
He eyed the paper and fussed with his hair a bit, not sure what to do. He glanced to Ruki and flashed her a smile. "Well, see you around!" He said leaving her behind before his smile faded and he went back to being conflicted..
What to do... what to do..?
