There are lies, and there are truth. Both of them can be either sweet and beautiful, or bitter and ugly. In general Mina simply will not approve of lies, regardless of whatever it is. But right as of now, she seriously wished that whatever she's seeing at the moment was a lie. A big, red zero at the top left corner of her test paper. Undoubtedly and unmistakably enough, she's very depressed. "How can this be..." The girl said in a dark and gloomy voice, gripping her test result tightly and glaring at it as though it's an abomination that had just contracted a deadly disease and must be purged in the next three seconds before it destroys the world. "How can an Ace Inspector... fail in a test... This is... inconceivable... impossible... there has to be a mistake... That is right, the teacher made a mistake..." The girl slowly set the paper on her table, taking out a pencil case from her bag and took out a red pen, uncapping it, and started scrawling a '10' before the big red zero. "There! That looks much more pleasant to the eyes," |

Oliver was once again wandering the halls of the school after having skipped out of class early. It wasn't like he was a genius or anything, he'd just already done the school thing on an advanced schedule. He was a high school grad when most were graduating middle school. Jonhson wanted him freed from school obligations. As such he'd jsut already been through this stuff and on an elite level.. The only reason he was even attending now was to live out his cover identity. Well, either way soon enough he happened across that girl he was getting all too familliar seeing around. It was weird how, like a week ago he'd never seen her once and now they ran into each other all the time. Yup that sure was weird "You know there's a proverb that says meeting once is chance, meeting twice is fate, and meeting three times means there's a destined bond between the two." He said eagerly as he approached the girl. "That must make you my destined woman, no~?" He said glancing over to her paper. "Ooch, trying the whole 'write it in to fool the parents' bit? Never very successful." |

"It depends on how you define 'destined'. Am I supposed to bring you misery for the rest of your life?" Mina retorted coolly, capping back the pen before picking up her test paper and shoving it in his face. "I am quite unsure whether you are blind or not, but it clearly says here that I had achieved perfect mark," She didn't even try to hide the fact that she just forged that! Seriously not sure whether she's a great or a terrible liar. "What is your business here anyway? I do not wish to associate myself with a delinquent," Well, he HAD been skipping classes. But it's not like she had actually bothered to keep track of his attendance or anything! He was clearly a student in this school and she had barely seen him anywhere near the school compound whatsoever, whether it was in clubs, classes, or even the Yuki dormitory. Perhaps he thought the school was way beneath him and he had no obligation to continue his studies whatsoever. Breaking the rules of the school... breaking the law... She despises someone like him the most! And the girl made her thoughts very clear on her face, giving him an irritated glare as she took her bag to stuff away her test result- "Mina-san!" Oh? "Ruki. What is it? I am quite busy at the moment," The girl said, somewhat not dropping her very formal tone as another girl with short black hair approached her with a notebook in her hand. "Mou... we've been friends for years, why do you still talk like that?" The newcomer said, pouting slightly before giving a shrug. "Well, anyway, here's my exercise book. You said you wanted to copy the answer... but really, can't you do it yourself for--KYAH!" The girl gave a yelp of surprise as all of a sudden Mina leaped at her, slamming her to the ground and clasping a hand over her mouth. "Not. Another. Word," Her voice was particularly murderous at this point, glancing nervously at Oliver behind him. Of all the people. HE. Particularly THAT GUY. MUST NOT KNOW. ...Not that she hadn't given everything away already. |

"Ehh, now no you should be kinder to your friends." Oliver said glancing to Ruki. "Especially the cute ones." He basically shoved Mina off and knelt down on one knee, offering her his hand as he threw on a dashing smile. "Ruki.. what a cute name. It really suits you." He said as he helped her stand, flashing her a small wink. He glanced over his shoulder as he did so, looking to Mina. "Copying? The great Xanadu?" He laughed. "Isn't cheating against the rules..?" He sighed heavily. "I guess an enforcer of the law thinks she is above them.... That sort of thing is called corruption, right? How unsightly.." Well it wasn't like he got many chances to be superior to her. "Hmm.. I wonder if I should tell the teachers..." He said glancing around. "Or perhaps I should inform her dad, I have him on speed dial.." Oh yes, he was enjoying himself quite a bit. |

"D-does it?" Ruki couldn't help but blush at his compliment, nervously taking his hand and getting up to her feet. "T-thank you..." She stuttered and stepped bacj slightly, twiddling her thumbs together. Mina however, could only scowl at the sight. "Ruki, you need to get out of this place, lock youself in an anti-radioactive saferoom and wait until the dudes in HAZMAT suits arrive. It will take three weeks before you can live a normal person's life again," Yep. She doesn't hold back. Which is probably not a good idea considering his retaliation. "Wait, what?" That was a slip on her part. Her cool exterior was cracked at the prospect of being told on. She knows it's against the rules but...! But... No buts! She doesn't have any excuse! The girl glared at him with a mixture of anciety and aggravation, weighing her chances... Should she admit it...? Should she lie again...? She still has to keep up the image of the perfect Ace Inspector Xanadu! But... she's breaking the law... And her choice? "Hmph! Go ahead and spread your white lies! No one will believe you anyway," A really big sweatdrop appeared on Ruki's head. Come on Mina... not again... she thought, sighing exasperatedly. |

"White lies...?" He said with a scoff. "White lies are harmless ones. I don't tihnk you understand that phrase.." He turned away from her before placing a hand on his chin. "You should be able to take make up exams tomorrow if I recall correctly, otherwise people with low test scores are forced to spend golden week here, right?" He said turning to her. "Well~ Since you have a 100% you're surely not in danger of that right~?" He said with a false cheerfulness. This was simply too much fun, he could string her along and bait her perfectly. He knew all her weak points. "If you have to take extra classes your entire class will know you failed... The great Xanadu, I wonder what they'd say.." He said pausing before turning back. "Not that it matters to you miss 100%!" "well... I guess if you WERE performing badly I could help teach you.." He said pausing. "Oh... Wait. I could review the material with you, and then you can use that review to refresh your memories and then you can help your classmates learn it!" He said pointing to her with a snap. "I mean you obviously know it well, but it couldn't hurt to have me help you refresh on it right? For your classmates sake!" Even if he'd had his fun, he didn't want her to fail or have to spend her break studying. Even he had a heart. Besides, even if she acted like Chetri she was different. He didn't hate her all that much by now. While she was annoying and an egomaniac she had a few good traits. He'd let her off easy and allow her to keep her pride this time. |

Well... Yeah! Of course, she doesn't need to worry about that...! She... always gets perfect score. Yersh. The girl doesn't have to worry about the make-up exam tomorrow, and she definitely doesn't have to worry about failing, and she certainly doesn't have to worry about having to go to school during golden week and risk having her friends know just how terrible she is in her studies and look down on her... because she's perfect... ... Ergh... How she hated him... "F-fine..." The girl said grumpily, keeping her eyes averted from his, very irritated at how he managed to chase her into a corner. Despite her delusion of how great she is, the girl knows very well she is just... not good in academics. At all. "Ooh, can I come?" "I do not wish for you to contract a terrible men-destroying disease, so no," "Aw..." |

"Well... it's not like it'll be free though..." He said placing a hand on his side and his other hand on his chin. "I mean a review with me is taking up my time. And you wouldn't want to be indebted to me, right? Because then I could use it later.." He paused glancing to the girl. "OH! I've got it! A date." He said snapping his fingers. "We can go to a festival during golden week and you can wear a yukata... That'll make us even, right? A bit of your time for a bit of mine. Sounds fun, no?" He said, knowing full and well that it didn't sound fun at all to the business minded girl that hated him. "Well.. that's only if you're free for golden week in the first place. But then with your grades that's no problem, right?" He said with a smile filled with menace. Ultimately she either had to say no and loose her whole golden week or say yes and endure a date with him. This was a win-win for Oliver any way you slice it. First he gets to force Mina into a date and thus completely defeat her, or she is revealed as a sham and he gets to scoff at her for that. Not bad.. |

You know she'd never agree to that. Leaping forward and grabbing a handful of his shirt she glared at him angrily as the girl desperately raked her brain for a counter, though managing to come up with nothing more than "You... you little..." The girl hissed, returning that menacing grin of his with her own brand of loathing grimace. She shouldn't have accepted his help, she knew he was going to take advantage of her... "...Tch..." The girl said finally after minutes long of not being able to defend herself, shoving him away as she strode out of the classroom. "After school. Room 313 of Yuki Dormitory. Do not be late," The girl muttered curtly without turning back before she exited through the door, leaving Ruki to glance between the doorway and Oliver nervously. "Uwah... I don't think I'd ever seen her so tense like that..." |

"Eh?" He glanced to Ruki with a small smile. "She's an assertive person, so naturally when control is taken from her she gets mad. I was already anticipating that... I suppose I jsut can help but tease her. With most stubborn girls I'll give up right away but she is actually quite fun.." He planted his hands on his sides and sighed heavily. "Even so, that stubbornness is so not cute~" He glanced to Ruki before flashing a broad smile. "Hey can I get your number? Since you're mina's friend if you ever needed anything I'd be glad to help!!" ~~~ "Three thirteen.." He said glancing at the door, knocking quietly. "Mina..?" He said glancing around, flashing smiles at any passerby. The girl's floor was like a paradise. Only women, no men to ruin it. A glorious place that he could only visit rarely due to living on the other side of town and the rules about boys being her in the first place.. Either way he waited at the door for her, the inside of a girls' room always said lots about them. He was curious how hers looked.. |

"E-eh? Sure?" Ruki said timidly, taking out her phone. "Just be careful around her though, she can get a bit wild sometimes. But you probably knew that already," She said with a giggle. E-mail address get! ~~~~~ Knock knock. "KYAH!" No one would probably have expected a scream from behind the door the moment he knocked, or the crash that sounded as though a bookcase had toppled over. "W-wait, hold on! Don't come in yet!" There was the sound of a lot of things being shuffled around and moved, and it sounded as though there were two people in that room? "Mimi, you idiot! That's not supposed to go there!" "Uwah! S-sorry!" "Argh, forget it! Go get the door, I'll clean up the rest!" The sound of footsteps died down slightly, and accompanying something that sounded as though a large heavy box was shoved along the floor to another part of the room was the sound of locks after locks after... locks... being unlocked, sounding like a perfectly played song. After the last click of the lock was hear the doorknob was turned, and the door creaked open ever so slightly, just enough for her to peek through the opening to see who it is. "A-ah... Oliver, c-come on in," The girl muttered timidly under her breath, opening the door a little bit wider to let him through. She barely had time to prepare for his arrival whatsoever. She was wearing a green zip-up jacket over a striped sweater underneath, plus a pair of glasses over her eyes, her hair was messed up as though she had just woken up from a nap. She doesn't seem to care about how she herself looked, as the girl guided him into her room. "S-sorry, it's a little bit messy though...?" Messy? She had clearly attempted to clean it up earlier, so how can it be messy? The room was quite neat and orderly, there was a table under the window with books stacked neatly on top of each other, a single desktop system somewhere at the corner of the room close to a bed, a large closet... a typical room for a girl, really, though undoubtedly a whole lot less girly and frilly compared to the rest of the rooms on this floor. The bookcase was covered in curtains for some reason. "Uhm... p-please sit! Yeah!" She said, gesturing Oliver to a desk at the middle of the room. "D-do you want anything to drink? I only have tea, though..." The girl said nervously, somewhat averting her eyes from looking directly at him. Hey, come on! Why is she so nervous when he's around? He's just here to tutor! Awawawa.... |

"I see.." Oliver said girnning sheepishly, trying not to laugh. She really had made a huge effort. She hated him and yet she went through all this trouble? Was her pride really so delicate? Or could it be... Her nervousness, the cleaning, the rushing around, was it possible..? No, it was almost certain! The cause of it could only be that one thing! He glanced to her, a grin spreading quickly. He stifled it and tried to compose himself, not wanting to play his hand too quickly. He glanced around the room, inspecting everything carefully. "So.. this is where Mina lives.." He said before turning to her and flashing a thumbs up. "Good job on cleaning, it's nice!" He said before planting his hands on his sides. "Your outfit is plain but it suits your figure. Even in plain clothes you're still a beauty." He said before sitting down at the desk and dropping his bag, shuffling through it for the books. "Say Mina.. I wouldn't happen to be.. The first male visitor to your room, would I?" He said, broaching the forbidden topic. |

"E-eh?! N-noee! That's ridiculous, I-I mean... this isn't the first time, you're not the first time! I've... I've had lots of guys come in here before! Yeah, lots! And we did lots of stuff too! ...WAIT NO!" Only just realizing how wrongly her words could be taken she rushed off towards the kitchen with her face hidden in her hands. "I'll go make tea!" Hau... calm down... calm down Mina... She's seriously overthinking this too much... The girl had to regain herself, breathing heavily as she leaned a hand on the kitchen counter. Bwah... This is so embarrassing... C-come on... why is it that just having him in this room making her so darn flustered like this...? "What have you done to her...?" Suddenly came the same voice but this time, instead of stuttering and being downright anxious, it was full of anger and irritation. Turning around Oliver would find Nana in the same outfit as Mimi, leaning against the doorway that led to another room, breathing heavily and looking somewhat pained, her face red in embarrassment thanks to the mental synchronization with Mimi. "Listen you... I will not tolerate any kind of shenanigans you decide to bring into this... We do this quick, then you will leave... And no one will be any wiser..." Geh... dammit, where's Mimi... they've been separated for too long... |

"Lots of stuff..?" He said trying to stop himself from laughing. However before he could continue he heard her voice again from a different direction. Another Mina? Ah! He splitting power, now everything was starting to make a bit more sense. She had been acting strangely because of being split up. "Eh..? Oh.. so you two are split up! so that's why you seemed so cute all of the sudden." He said finally understanding. She was using her power which seemed to alter her personality just like Jameson's power made him James and Mason. "Well, yeah. That's my plan. I'm not intending to do anything lewd.." He grinned a bit leaning forward. "You're the one who brought it up~ what were you expecting? A kiss for each correct answer..?" He said with a grin. He motioned for her to sit beside him as he opened up his book. "Well let's get started, since you're all business." He quirked an eyebrow. "Though.. are you sure today is good? You don't look so hot.." He paused before laughing. "Well you always look hot! But I mean you seem sick." |

"How about a punch for every word you say?" The girl raised her fist, shaking it angrily at the man in front of her. However her bout of ferociousness didn't last long as she simply slumped to the floor, clutching her head in pain. "Ergh... Mimi! Where are you?!" Shouting was probably not a good idea, it makes her head throb. "I-I'm here!" Almost immediately her other self emerged from the kitchen, carrying a tray with teacups and a pot filled with tea. "Uwah! Nana, wait! Hold on!" Seeing Nana sitting there with a pained expression on her face she hastily set the tray on the table, "S-sorry about this Oliver!" pausing briefly to apologize to Oliver before rushing over to Nana, holding up a hand to meet up with Nana's own... And then there was one Mina. Rubbing her head and hissing slightly in pain. "Ergh... you have given me quite the trouble..." Mina said grumpily, her headache receding as she pushed herself back up to her feet, and in no time at all regained her usual business-ey composure. "Now, will you stop playing around so we can get on with out work?" The girl said calmly, taking a particularly large stack of books from her desk, walking over to Oliver and let the books fall with crashes and bangs in front of him. "History, Science, Mathematics, English, Geography especially," The girl said as she sorted out the books neatly in front of him. She had to put aside the tray from earlier to make room for more books. Some of them were bought months ago, scrawled and written all over, probably had been used tons of times to the point where it resembled scrap paper. Some of them were bought quite recently, probably still in their plastic wrappings. There were also about half a dozen of thick notebooks that probably contained notes and reviews made over the last few months, maybe even years. Well... One thing's for sure. Despite her terrible grades, she really was serious about studying. |
