"You should relax, Natasha~."
Relaxing, however, was something Natasha planned on doing only after her gift for Kira had been wrapped. It was Valentine's Day, and from what she had heard from Maristol it was a day where it was normal for a girl to give chocolate to her beloved. And supposedly, according to her roommate, creating one's own chocolate to give was more expressive and fulfilling than simply buying it from the store. So Natasha had spent a good deal of her time looking up ingredients and perfecting her product—even then the chocolate she now had exhibited a small tint of bitterness. There was no longer any time to invest in her attempt for perfection, however, as making chocolate was a timely process for Natasha.

And so she took her prepared chocolate that had been placed in a small box, wrapped it up in painfully, plain crimson wrapping paper and set the intended gift on the dining room table without a second thought. Without hesitation Natasha set off to clean up whatever had been dirtied in the process of making the meal that had been prepared earlier.
"Natasha, I left a box for Santiago. Could you give it to him when he arrives~?" "E—eh?" Natasha exited the kitchen only to find that Maristol was already exiting the dorm, with the door closing before she could say anything. Knowing that there wasn't much that she could do about the matter other than to abide by it, Natasha went back to the kitchen to finalize the preparations that had to be done.

Kira was anxious, waiting to go to Natasha's room. They had arranged a time, but it seemed to be going so slowly. Kira had dressed to look rather nice without going as far to be 'dressy'. He had some roses and some chocolates in a cheesy heart-shaped box ready for her.

When it was finally close to time, he went over to the Fudo dorm and up to her room, knocking on the door. He was right on time.

At the ringing of her doorbell Natasha almost jumped, as she had not yet been able to place out anything related to the meal that she and Kira were to have. It was clear to her that she had fallen behind on her schedule, which was of course something that she had dreaded seeing as how it was Valentine's Day. Rather than making a desperate attempt to sort out everything, however, Natasha went on to answer her door. It was one thing to be late on her part, but it was another to keep Kira waiting.
"H—hello, Kira." Natasha had dressed herself in light blue dress that seemingly appeared to be similar to her other dresses. However, there was a notable difference when it came to her shoulders, as there were only straps present rather than the usual modest sleeves. She exhibited a small smile upon noticing that Kira was holding a heart-shaped object, though the blush on her face and the fluttering of her heart were more expressive of her feelings. "P-please, m—make yourself at home," Natasha continued before she took a few steps back out of courtesy, as she did not want to keep him standing outside. Just as Kira had a gift for her, Natasha remembered that she had a gift for him as well, a gift that she hoped would please him.

"Good Evening Natasha." He said in response as he entered her room. The smell of food wafted through the room as it always did when he came over. She always wanted to have a meal ready for him. Before going any further, he turned around. "You look great." He said complimenting her dress. He was almost surprised at her choice... it was so nice to see her getting braver. After quickly taking off his shoes, he handed her the box of chocolates and the roses. "Happy Valentines Day." He said.

With care Natasha accepted Kira's gifts, then took a moment to gently smell the roses. "Th-thank you, Kira," Natasha replied gratefully. "I—I think this is the first time—that I've had something such as this." She stood still for a moment while continuing to smile, as she was reflecting on her current feelings and her relationship with Kira, as well as how her heart had started to beat again with joy. "I-I—um—haven't been able to set up anything yet," she said upon remembering the situation he had been aware of previously. Natasha then led the way to the dining room, then continued on into the kitchen to both find something to preserve her roses in and to bring out the dishware for the meal that was to follow. However, she failed to notice on her way past the dining room table that there was something off about the two boxes that were placed on top of it: both boxes were both similar in shape, size and appearance. It wasn't until Natasha returned with a rose-filled vase in one hand and Kira's heart-shaped gift in the other when she noticed the two boxes. The sudden realization that she couldn't tell which one was hers to give to Kira made her realize that she was in trouble. One of them was for Kira, and the other was for Santiago from Maristol—neither of them could be opened, as doing so would certainly spoil the gifts.
Not wanting to panic right there and then, Natasha set down her received gifts on the table before making her way to the kitchen once again. "I—I just need to get a few more things," she nervously said to Kira as she collected some dishware. "-s-so you can sit, i-i-if you want to..."

"Its okay Natasha." He said following her into the kitchen. She always did so much on her own, Kira wished that she would let someone help her sometimes. She seemed so stressed at times like these. When she told him he could sit down to wait for her, Kira just shook his head, "Let me help. We can get to eating together faster that way." He said taking the dishes from her to take out to the dining room.

With little to no protest Natasha allowed Kira to take the dishes that she had been holding, though she did pause for a moment to watch him take off to the dining room. She knew by then already that when it came to work, such as what she was doing, that there was a low chance that she would be able to convince Kira to relax, even if she was conducting her work out of courtesy as hostess. There was no awkwardness felt over the matter on Natasha's part, however, as she had started to become used to it even if it went against her habits.
Not wanting to waste anymore time Natasha shifted her focus on the kotlety and salad that she had prepared beforehand, with her first moving the bowl of kotlety to the dining room table. All that was left was the bowl of salad, the pot of tea she had prepared, glassware, and eating utensils. Without struggle Natasha went back to the kitchen and handled both the glassware and utensils, though she almost stumbled into Kira on her second walk through. "S—sorry," Natasha quickly said, though she still lingered near Kira as she calmed herself down. She glanced at the two boxes for a moment out of concern, though she looked away as to not draw attention to them right away.

Kira just laughed a bit, "Its okay Natasha. Lets just get those to the table, we are almost done." Kira said, taking some of what was in her hands out of them, taking them over to the table. Kira knew that she liked to do all the work herself, but Kira wanted her to relax as well.

For a moment Natasha watched Kira approach the table with some of the glassware and utensils he had relieved from her, then set out to do the same with what she had left. She glanced at Kira, then folded her arms as she said, "There's—there's a bowl of salad—a-and a pot of tea still left." There was a nagging feeling within her that made her feel bad for informing Kira, yet at the same time she was aware that he wanted to help out. It was a conflict that Natasha realized would have to be resolved somehow in the future, though for now she could settle with what they both had going at the moment. "I-I'll get the tea, s-since it's hot," Natasha said as she trailed back to the kitchen. With the protection of a heat mitten, she carefully picked up the hot pot and slowly made her way back to the dining room, taking care as to not run into Kira as she did so.

"Alright." Kira said, letting Natasha head into the kitchen first, him following behind. After Natasha had passed with the Tea Pot, being careful to not run into her and the hot tea, he grabbed the bowl of salad and brought it out to the dining room, setting it down on the table. "Is that everything?" He asked, looking to Natasha.

"Y—yes," Natasha replied as she looked over what they had already placed on the table. "S-sorry if I troubled you..." She didn't finish the sentence she had initiated out of habitual instinct, instead trailing off as she glanced at the meal once again. Now that their meal was set out, it was time for them to enjoy their time together, or so she told herself. Without further interruption Natasha carefully seated herself after she had glanced at Kira. As for the box of chocolates that she had developed solely for him, she decided it would be better to withhold such a gift until later, where perhaps the issue of having two, similar boxes would be sorted out.

"Good, we can sit down together now then." Kira said with a smile, "And it was no trouble at all... I want to help, you don't have to do everything alone." She sat down rather quickly, Kira was going to be the gentleman, but she was already seated, so Kira went across from her and sat down. "This smells great Natasha." He compliments her. Everything she made was always great.

"M—maybe—" Natasha hesitated for a moment as she thought over what she was going to suggest. "—maybe you c—could try to cook with me, sometime." It was perhaps sudden, but Natasha felt that since they were in a relationship together there was a possibility that doing so would ease her conscious of habits, to in a way fool herself into viewing Kira other than as a guest and boyfriend within her residence. In fact, it was actually a fairly good way to develop connections with Kira in a way, now that she thought about it. However, Natasha was also aware that she would not force Kira if he didn't agree—after all, it was a simple suggestion on her part.
Not wanting to be completely idle while awaiting for a reply, Natasha started to pour tea for both herself and Kira.

Kira smiled over to her, "That's a great idea Natasha. It would be nice for me to see you relax and let me prepare a meal for you. I actually have just the thing for next time as well. But for now, lets enjoy what you have made us." Kira was all for the suggestion. It would be nice to see Natasha able to relax, and not so worried, and busy as she always seemed to be.

Before Natasha was able to completely set down the pot of tea she had been holding, she paused as she listened to Kira's reply, then smiled once again. Although she didn't consider herself to be a master of cooking, Natasha believed that she was experienced enough to a point where she could introduce Kira to the methods of preparing some basic meals. And of course, it would also be interesting to see what he would do.
But at that, Natasha resumed placing the tea pot down and returned most of her attention to the meal. When the time would come for her to find out, she would—but for now, as Kira had said, they were better off focusing on what was before them at the moment.

---

While there was still a small amount of kotlety here and salad there, Natasha was fine with the amount she had already consumed. Instead she quietly sipped from her cup of tea, using both hands to gently hold her cup as she did so. As she finished, Natasha caught glimpse of the boxes once again, thus becoming uncertain of how to deal with them once again. Hadn't Maristol mentioned that Santiago would be stopping by for a short moment to pick up his own box? If that happened, would he be able to tell the difference between which box was which?
