NICE DRIVE!
|
Letting out a long yawn, Hiro Tsukasa propped his legs up on the desk within the Library-based class room he frequently used for the Supernatural Studies class. He was lazing about for several reasons. First, that he had actually be on time ahead of the students. Second, things had been crazy recently and between ancient eldritch horrors from beyond the stars and rampaging boyfriends Hiro was keeping quite busy. Finally, however, was the clear fact that today was going to be an easy day for him. Unfortunately, the same could not be said for his students. 3RD PERIOD'S DEMONOLOGY EXAM HAD ARRIVED! "Meh, I hate being early," Hiro complained as he shook his head slowly and then tilted it back to stare at the ceiling of the room. Though a lot was going on in Hiro's life, and the threat of the Time Stones loomed in the background things didn't feel all that bad. Since Cthulhu's defeat, a great weight had been lifted off the mage's shoulders. Though he was sure it wouldn't be the last problem Arcadia would stare down, Hiro knew that they'd be ready for the next issue as well. For now though, a more pressing matter remained. The first period Supernatural Studies class has slogged through the Dark Realm in a pre-created scenario Hiro had devised as a means of testing their knowledge from the past few lectures. This model had held successes, failures, and some complaints from the bureaucracy within the school. Taking this in mind, Hiro had revised the exam for his other section of the course. WOULD THEY SURVIVOR THE TERROR OF THE DEMONOLOGY EXAM!? |

Now, let's play together...under the clearest of blue skies.
|
Erin entered the room, for once actually looking happy. Over the past month or two, it had seemed like she was in a heavy slump of depression, but today, her mood was noticeably brighter. She wasn't completely like she was before...the old Erin probably would have happily skipped to her seat. Instead, she just calmly walked in, taking a seat in the front row as she usually did. It was the best position to hear the instructor clearly from, after all. "Hi, Hiro." She said, giving a small, but friendly wave. Supernatural Studies was by far her favorite class, and she rarely had trouble with it - although Demonology was something she wasn't likely to read up in on her own, she spent a lot of time in the Arcadia Scryptorium doing private research into whatever she found interesting. She was actually starting to look for ways that she could pursue a career in supernatural studies. But Hyakuji was somewhat of a one-of-a-kind school, and she hadn't been able to find any kind of college or university that offered courses anything like it. But she was still in her Junior year, so she had some time. If she couldn't find anything, she figured she could probably ask Hiro for advice. But for now, she'd rather focus on class...especially since there was a final today. She had studied hard, and she had no doubt that she'd be able to ace a written exam...but practical exams were another story. Erin panicked easily in tough situations. If she could just stay calm and remember what she had studied, she was sure that she could pass. Maybe if she partnered up with someone, she would do better...but she wasn't sure whether or not that would be allowed... Edited by Erin, Feb 10 2012, 01:45 PM.

The stupid dream walked into the room, having no idea what to do, she walked towards the other student in the classroom and asked, "Hi, my name is Thianbang, but you can call me Yume-Chan, how are you? Any idea what we should do in this class?" It would seems she has no idea that there's a exam today. |

Artemis walks into the room with her bag in hand, a smile on her face as she walks in. She finds an a seat in the front row, setting her bag down and sitting next to Erin, "Hello," she says with a wave and smile to Erin, "Nice to meet you!" She adjusted herself into the seat, tucking her skirt under legs as she sat. She looked around at the library and all the books that were present, "This is a pretty neat library huh?" She asked in general, to no one in particular. She looked back forward and smiled to Hiro, "So, what's on the agenda for today?" she asked him. |

The day had finally arrived - when supernatural studies, at least this specific class, was to be dealt its final exam. It had been in the works a long time now, and even with all the things Hyakuji's students had to go through, including other school work, threats towards their existence, and relationship issues, it had been creeping towards them still. They knew it was coming, and anyone with a decent sense and savvy around them, knew to prepare well for it. Their standard classes along could prove a hassle if not approached correctly, so the final exam was doubtful to be a walk in the park. They had to be ready to face god knows what would be thrown at them. In spite of all Jonny Desmond had done, he would admit, he was still a little unnerved by the prospect. The boy speedster stepped into the room with a backpack over his shoulders, stuffed with a combination of books, paper, pencils, and other small bits and pieces he had brought along just in case. His green eyes wandered across the place, taking in the students present, as well as the teacher sat at the desk. Perhaps instinctively, Jonny's hand moved to his chest, just to confirm the pendant gifted to him by Pazuzu remained present, and it was lowered once he realised he had nothing to worry about, yet at least. Jonny had now long had an agenda with demons, though he felt his intentions were noble, or at the very least, non-harmful. Pazuzu's gift was given to him to bring Justice after all - and as a measure of protecting his friends - whilst the time spent with the Jack brothers had been done as practice for this. But it was still not a certainty that he would be truly prepared for what Mr Tsukasa had in store, and as much as Jonny's relationship with the teacher was uneasy at best, he had definitely heard the rumours - and seen hints - of the man's power. Even if only tempoarily, he had thrown up another's speed to match his own, and his name was spoken amongst the demon kind. The man was a master of the arcana - and unbeknownst to Jonny himself, so much more - so any plan set by him was one to be wary of. As much as magic seemed to have its rules and logistics, just what those were varied from type to type it seemed. The only thing stopping the students from having to prepare for potentially anything, was that the subject matter had to relate to demons. But there was nothing else Jonny could do now, with the day upon them, and he made his way to a spare seat by the window. "Morning, Mr Tsukasa." He at least had the courtesy to be polite and say hello, as he sat himself down in the chair, placing the bag down on the desk in front of him. His eyes fell back to the doorway soon enough, keeping an eager eye out, waiting for a few certain someones to enter the room. |

"Supernatural Class, it was not a bad class, wasn't it?" Haru walked into the classroom, he was excited today because he didn't get lost again in his school. Usually he always get lost in his own school, but not today! Haru was already knew which room it is, so Fear no! He thought to himself as he came in to the room, and saw there's already four students in there and a sensei. It was Hiro-sensei! and the students.. Haru have no idea, all he knew in there were Erin and Hiro-sensei. After finished scanning the room, Haru then turned his head to Hiro and bowed "Good Morning, Sensei" Haru greeted Hiro with a soft voice, and then turned his body to where everyone are and bowed to them as he said "Good Morning Everyone" After saying that, With his innocent face, Haru then rose his body and slowly walked towards the nearest chair, took a seat on it, put his bag on the tabble, and put his hands on his bag innocently. He was ready for the class today! It was Simple, Plain, Not complicated, there wasn't anything weird happened to him this morning. It was just completely plain. Haru then let out a soft sigh, "Ah.. This is a peaceful day~" He mumbled to himself innocently. Maybe if it was a cartoon movie, you all can see Haru's face like his mouth become cat's mouth that like a 'w' and his eyes became strips. ...... Pla~in .................... "It's.... just too... Plain!!! What a boring morniing!!" Haru shouted in his mind as suddenly he made a weird mimic on his seat and then started to act weird. "AAlriiiightyy!! Let's start thiiis, Seenseei!!" Haru shouted as he rose his hands up excitedly!! He knew that this was in Library-based class room, but still he didn't care, Haru was sick with this plain moment. it tasted weird! |

Slowly strutting down the hallway towards her third period class the incognito Kimi silently wondered about what she would do if she ever ascertained the exact truth about the shady organization known as the Wo-Shing Society. Though from what little information she had already obtained she was unsure if her search her would yield much fruit. Apparently the group was all but annihilated by the combined efforts of several lawful groups. "And it seemed Tsukasa-sensei was in on this too," the shape-shifter mused as she turned into the class. Newspaper details were somewhat scarce but one picture showed a man who bore a striking resemblance to the world renowned magician and teacher. Slowing her pace as she entered the room the impostor looked over her fellow students, letting her gaze linger across the one and only magician, mayhaps a tad too long. A small, crooked smile graced her lips for an instant before melting into her usual stolid appearance as she quickly crossed the room and took a seat in the second row. Her thoughts quickly turned to what she had heard was on the agenda for today. "So what of this Demonology final? Students have been whispering about it like a nameless fear not of this earth," Kimi asked to no one in particular. Though being in school was not her first choice for going undercover she couldn't help but relish the excitement she felt. Things like this were not even possible back in her world. |

Celia walked into the classroom, hoping her broad experience with treasure hunting in the lost ruins of ancient civilizations would help her. She did a cartwheel into class as usual, then sat down. "Hey everyone!" she told them. Edited by Tzauri, Feb 11 2012, 05:00 PM.

"Good afternoon, Tsukasa sensei!" Selene greeted as she entered the library where the supernatural studies class, no, test was scheduled to take place. Being from a long family line of wizards, it was naturally the English heiress' favorite subject, bar none. And added to that was the fact that a good number of her friends were also taking this class with her as the corporate heiress quickly spotted Jonny, while knowing that Yuki would also show up soon; both of whom attended the same subject in the same time period as herself. "Hi Jonny!" Selene called out to Jonny, smiling and waving as she did. "And you too, Erin!" the corporate heiress called out cheerfully as she walked past Erin, giving the aeromancer a friendly pat on the back. "And of course, Yume-chan you're not forgotten!" Selene added as she patted Thianbang on the shoulder as she walked past her to find her way to a seat behind Jonny, before catching sight of Celia - whom she remembered seeing at Underground 10 during her singing Tesla coil concert with Jen, waving at the redhead before giving her a wink and a smile. |

Ethan was in bright spirits as he stepped into the class room and sat down at his usual desk. After all, today was test day, and on test day that meant that they had to focus on a piece of paper, scribble down the answers, and absolutely not talk to anyone. All the above was just about perfect for him as he had no desire to interact with anybody after last incident's fiasco. Furthermore, he had perfect memory, so if the teacher talked about it or it was in the book, he could merely go to that memory and print out the answer perfectly and neatly. Just in case something went wrong, Ethan had already brought out several pencils of different lead types, several pens of different ink compositions, and several leaflets of paper for any means. He was absolutely ready. All would be well, except a thought wormed a way into his head. 'What if he accidentally didn't teach something on the test?' This once again sent him down on a bad spiral of negative thoughts. 'That's nonsense, Mr. Tsukasa is a good teacher. 'But everyone makes mistakes, he could have accidentally taught the wrong things while having the right things on the test. Or maybe he is using an old form of the test and he didn't realize that one of the things he taught is now not being taught from last time and he doesn't know it. Which means I don't know it. Which means I will fail. Which means I'll have to repeat a year. Which means I will have to go through a whole year trying to explain why I am older than everyone and I can't do that because I can't talk to people properly and that means I will faint which would lead to me fainting over and over which will become a habit and send me to the Nurse's office often and everyone will think I'm an ill boy and try to help me which will cause everything to be worse and worse until I can't get enough oxygen because I keep fainting and then my mind will turn to mush and then I will be a vegetable and then my parents will stop giving me life support because they're very elitist and won't waste time on me and that would lead me to die and I don't want to die because I don't know what's there and I will die and then I will be lost in unknown and then I won't be able to handle it because I can't handle something I don't know and then I'll be something I don't know and I don't like that...' Ethan's internal monologue kept going on and on and on, accounting all possible and impossible events that could happen while he took the test. He eventually curled up into a ball and started to block out everything around him. So far, he hasn't even considered the possibility that it was a practical and not a written exam. "So—succubi are into that kind of stuff, eh?" Santiago ran his fingers over the text of an open book he had been reading for the past few minutes, unaware that students were filling into the library for class. It wasn't until he emerged from the rows of bookshelves did the Argentine notice that several students were already seated and waiting. Instead of immediately seating himself as well, however, Santiago first glanced at the other students before returning his undivided attention to his book. There had been some familiar faces he had spotted, while some were not as acquainted to him or desirable to look upon. Not that it mattered though, since he had other things on his mind at the moment, such as how to seduce a succubus in seven minutes with nothing but suave words and yo-yo tricks, among other unrelated and perhaps seemingly worthless topics. As he seated himself at random among the students, Santiago couldn't help but suspect that he was supposed to remember something important, something that related to the class that he was in now. The small suspicion was dismissed, however, as he was aware that it wouldn't matter much if he remembered. After all, he did not bother to study for the class at all. While there was certainly interesting facts within the course that he admired to a degree, there were other pressing matters at hand that had caught his attention off school. In short, he had no idea what he was doing. |

*Fawning Internally*
|
"Hello, Tsukasa-sensei," a somewhat monotone, if not tired, voice greeted the teacher. Aisia Asakura made her greeting and quietly walked into the room, then set her bags down on the desk next to Selene. "Hey, Lavender," she greeted the corporate heiress. "Are you ready for today's Final Exam? I... don't know if I am," she sighed. She'd more or less heard of how the first exam went through Otoha's rather exaggerated recount of the events that her sister went through, so she wasn't sure which half was correct and which half was bullshit. Either way, she was also expecting that students who took the test now were likely not going to take the same test format as the first set of students - that would make things a lot easier for those in later classes than they have to be. Right now though, she was... also worried about something else. Her current state of mind. Something was changing, she could feel it, but couldn't place her finger on what exactly was changing in her. Her recent arguments with Ayane and discussions with Terado weighed a lot on her mind at the moment, so that was probably going to distract her - that wasn't a good thing to have right when the exam started. "... Considering that Hyakuji kind of imploded on itself the last time, I don't think I've ever taken a final exam here. Any hints, Lavender?" she asked. |

Stuff of Legend
|
Sharlen-as-Diaage strolled into class, tapping into his host's mannerisms in order to accurately portray the way the girl would have walked if her body wasn't a soul-less shell for him to live in. For a moment, Sharlen felt a pang of guilt. He hadn't really WANTED to devour her soul...but he'd needed a body...and she was a bad egg anyways. The young human - young by Sharlen's standards, anyways...almost all humans were "young" by his standards... - who taught this very class... That man, Hiro Tsukasa, had been this girl's target. For some strange reason, she seemed to think that fame was important, and that the best way to get it was to kill famous magic users. Sharlen-as-Diaage shrugged to him/herself and sat down. The demon struggled to keep from smirking. As much as he didn't want to brag...this was demonology. He was a demon. As long as no one knew his true name, he would be fine, and probably do well on the exam. With the host-body hiding his aura, he would seem like just any other wannabe sorceress. He allowed himself to smile with the pretty latin girl's lips. He couldn't figure out why he hadn't gone to high school back when he had been at full power. It would have been the perfect way to learn about humans. Such wonderful creatures. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Kenneth yawned as he walked in. Blech. School uniforms. Was the only real thought on his mind. Because the school's dress code was being enforced more firmly now, he'd been forced to set aside his usual bright colors and provocative style. But just because he had to wear something specific...no one ever said how he had to wear it. Kenneth's lips almost curled into a wicked grin, but he turned it into a charming smile. He wasn't quite sure how he was going to act yet around these people. He didn't have enough to go on, therefore his unstable personality had yet to "click." He lightly scratched the "V" of golden-tanned skin that showed where his shirt was partially unbuttoned. For once, he wasn't deliberately trying to be seductive. It just came naturally as he stretched. He'd studied. Not like he actually expected to get an "A", but he was a gypsy. Magic was part of his heritage. Just not Demons. He unconsciously chewed on his bottom lip for a second, tugging on the tiny braid that hung down next to his ear today. He'd woven in a few glass beads shaped like leaves, and had a tiny green ribbon woven in as well. He sighed, mumbling to himself. *"Amria...tests are latcho. Dook is okay...but mulo...those things are nasty..." Then he turned his attention to the teacher, and smiled. "Sar'shan, Phuro Tsukasa?" Hey, the guy was an accomplished magician. Just because he was Gaje didn't mean he didn't deserve respect. ((OOC: *TRANSLATION TIME!!! Amria - generic romani curse or swear latcho - literal translation is "bad," possibly unpleasant Dook - the Sight, or magic in general Mulo - spirits who possess mortal bodies, possibly demons Sar'shan - quite literally "How are you?" Phuro - a wise/respected elder Gaje - anyone who isn't a gypsy)) |

NICE DRIVE!

One by one, Hiro greeted each student as they entered the class and after everyone had been assembled he stood up and sprang into action. "Alright, so we all know what today is," Hiro began with a grim tone, "The past few weeks we've been learning about the nature of Demons, how to combat them, deal with them and even contract them for our own benefit. Now it's time to put everything I've been teaching you to the test. I learned a few things from the other section's Final which has already been ran so we're going to change some things up in here." "For one," Hiro continued as he snapped his fingers causing a paper to materialize on everyone's desk, "This will be a written test instead of a practical exam. No notes, no books. You either know this stuff from paying attention in class and doing the work or you don't. As soon as you are finished bring this to the front desk and leave it with me. Then you're free to leave class and head on to an early lunch. It should go without saying, but I won't tolerate any cheating on this test. If you have those kinds of aspirations, remember what class you're in. I know we also have some who have just transferred in. I'm taking that into account when I look at your test so for today just play along and don't worry that you've missed all the lectures because you weren't enrolled yet." "You'll have till the class ends if you really need the time to sit and puzzle things out in your mind. They are all short answer. Most simply call for a term or single word, but some will need a bit more thought. You've got ten questions each worth ten points for a total of one hundred. There's also an extra credit question to help make up if you get one wrong.," Hiro commented as he sat atop his desk, "BEGIN!" The Test

After Santiago tossed the book he had been reading under his seat, he picked up a black-ink pen and looked over the questions that were before him. Apparently there was a test, one that he was certain that he was not going to pass. Still, the Argentine was determined to attempt to make the most educated guesses he could muster, and so with every question that he came across he took his time dissecting them as much as he could to understand them. When he had finally finished filling out the exam paper, Santiago left his table to turn in his work. After he had done so he left the room to initiate the use of his acquired free time, unaware that he had forgotten to bring along the book he had been reading earlier. |
