LOCATION: The French Alps, Savoi France.
Time: 4:30 AM

BOOM

"AUGHHH!!!" Oliver groaned as he stumbled forward. "Help. Help. Where am I? Help! I'M BLIND. It finally happened this time! I went blind! and deaf! oh god! I HATE THIS MISSION." He said tripping and rolling down into the snow.

A beautiful woman arrived helping him up, a classical french beauty with the deep raven hair, full lips, large chest, and doe eyes. Her visage apparently worked a miracle on Oliver whom immediately became reoriented and healed of aforementioned blind and deafness.

"My god. I love this mission. Note it down Seth, Favorite mission." Oliver said with a large grin.

"I heard you would be being with the on your way..?" She said in broken Japanese. "I am.. not so good with talking japanese."

"Oh my god, a woman that doesn't talk. It's a dream come true."

"You.. speaking too fast.. can't..."

"I said.. <"we have a job to do, let's get started."> Oliver said in fluent French.

<"You speak French?">

<"Is it not the language of love?"> He said flashing her a grin. And so it was the three moved down from the open mountains into a log cabin to meet their collaborators, Oliver chatting with the woman all the way.

What he's noting however, is that Oliver is a womanizer. Like that's not a public enough knowledge already.

Well, at least he's having fun.

"I guess," Seth replied with a small exasperated sigh and a shrug, ears still ringing and eyes still burning from the somewhat unconventional teleportation method devised by Edmund. Though he would still probably take this over a bike any time...

Maybe.

Oliver yawned loudly as he walked down the stairs, stretching out. They'd already been there an hour, he's had plenty of time for various things and now he was coming back down fresh out of the shower, fresh change of clothes, and just in time as their informants were finally back from their mission to gather data on the target.

"Where's Luanne?"

"Who?" Oliver said idly.

"The French woman whom got you earlier."

"Oh! Her. Uhm. Bathing. Upstairs."

"..What? Why?"

"Let's focus on the mission, shall we? Getting all hung up on where everyone is or names is that really how men on a mission should spend their time? Let's TRY to prioritize." Oliver said sternly.

"R..Right." The man rolled out a map on the table. "In one of the nearby lodges Kuroki Souta is meeting a client. In the snowstorm there's no vehicle that could manage to access it other than helicopter which is obviously too loud. There is ONE other option, though."

"It's lower on the mountain. We're going to ski down slope to the building?" He said with a grin.

"You two are. Our job ends here with getting you the location."

Oliver placed both hands on the map grinning ear to ear. "Skiing into an enemy base in a snowstorm. I love this mission."

Loving this mission for all the wrong reason... Oh how he had to refrain himself from the intensely burning desire to whack him at the back of his head and be done with it. For the first time in his life he would probably prefer to ride the bike across town and risk killing himself than having to spend the last hour sitting there alone in his room while Oliver was... out doing something else.

Hush you.

"Pretty daring plan you've got here. Let's just hope they're not gonna greet us later at the finishing line with hails of bullets instead," He said, walking over to the window and peeking out at the snow-ridden landscape. Well, with all the snow around they probably wouldn't even notice them coming in the first place.

Reminds him of that one mission he played in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2.

Oliver was ready for the mission within a short span of time. Boots, clothes, bullet proof vest, coat, scarf. It was a mix of his black raid gear and clothes to combat the cold. The end result was pretty comfy and also practical. He'd need to ditch most of it once inside but for now it was a nice protection. All black, a red scarf. Wait this reminded him of a certain OTHER outfit he had...

Well he'd ignore that coincidence.

"Visibility will be too low for them to see us coming from very far off. We're going to be fine." Oliver said confidently. He wandered outside to the Ski slopes and took out a snowboard strapping it to his feet before jumping off the porch onto the fresh snow, sliding around on the hill before coming to a stop. "Should be fun, right?" He said eagerly. "This kind of thing I can get behind.." He said before turning and kicking off, taking his time so Seth could keep up.

Well isn't he confident. The boy gave a sigh as he grabbed his own pair of skis and strapped them to his boots. His everyday attire actually worked well at this time of the day (very early morning), and for some reason he refused to get any more protection for himself save for the skiing gear. "What I don't get..." He said, leaping out to the snowy slopes and skied alongside Oliver, making their way down to the lodge at the bottom of the mountain where Kuro was said to be at. "...Is how my idea of a skiing trip became an undercover mission to capture the underling of a criminal mastermind..."

This is so not how he imagined a skiing trip should be.

You sure are good at skiing though, I just realized.

As they moved down the slopes they would suddenly hear the winds howling begin to increase, the snow grew more and more thick around them. Luckily their headsets used it's own tiny battery to power a short range signal so they could still talk, but no one outside the local area would be able to reach them at all... Including Beaumont, whom at that moment was desperately messaging them...

Not that they'd know...

As they went down the slopes they'd find the course relatively clear. Once down far enough Oliver took off his goggles and looked around. "Should be close." He said into the earpiece.

He moved around the area boarding up and down the area, looking for any sign of the building but.. Nothing. There wasn't any building here at all. This entire place was completely devoid of anyone... OR anything. It was jsut a large valley in the mountains full of... nothing.. "Something isn't right here..." He said into the mic. "Let's head back to ba-"

A thunderous sound... Oliver knew what it was instantly. He saw an alcove not far and grabbed Seth, running him over to it just in time...

And soon the two were buried in an avalanche. A small cave and in front of them a wall of ice and snow that would kill you long before you dug through it..

".... We were tricked.."

"What? How?!" Unlike Oliver he's not as quick to accept the fact, as he immediately darted towards the entrance of the cave, slipping his glove off his hand and sliding his bare palm over the ice and snow blockade. Cursing under his breath he pulled his hand back and forming it into a fist. Dammit, no damned snow is gonna stand in his way, he's just gonna punch his way out--!

You idiot, DON'T! V suddenly yelled inside his head, stopping him before he could do anything. With that amount of force you could cave us in!

Dammit, why the hell does he have to think logically at this time?! "Then what are we supposed to do?!" It's really surprising to see him so worked up and anxious, pacing back and forth in a futile attempt to calm himself down. THAT'S STUPID, HOW ARE YOU SUPPOSED TO CALM DOWN RIGHT NOW?! "We've just been tricked by those we thought were our friends, Kuro is out there doing whatever the hell he's doing, we're trapped here and we can't finish out mission, and more importantly WE'RE GOING TO DIE!!!"

It was extremely rare to see him snap like that. The boy breathed heavily after letting it all out, glancing at Oliver once before slumping to the ground, dejected. He's been ridiculously edgy since their little briefing back at the office, and this was all the spark needed to blow up all that pent up tension in him since knowing he was targeted by a criminal mastermind for whatever reason. "Just... what the hell..." The boy muttered under his breath, raising his bare hand up in front of him, pretending to be staring at the invisible magical symbol that was supposedly engraved under his skin that bound him with the half-phantom, who was probably watching another episode of Gokaiger in her room and yelling excitedly while making ridiculous poses.

Is it possible to summon her here to the other side of the Earth and have her carve their way out? Three people are better than two after all...

No. That's totally not the case. He's not gonna call her here just to have her work. Even if she is technically immune to dying of hypothermia.

"Come morning time the slopes will warm up and melt.. Most likely this place will loose structural integrity and cave in. If we dig through the snow we'll die of frost before we get out or be crushed.. If I use my lasers i might can melt us a path out but it will also head the ice and probably collapse the snow into this cave.. If i use the lasers to carve the cave back a bit we will be safer from collapse but we'll need to wait for rescue and there's no reason for anyone to look for us for at least a day and they will have no way to find us."

He closed his eyes taking in a deep breath. "Luring us out to a cave and collapsing the snow on us. They wanted us out of the way but not dead.. most likely..." He said as he folded his arms over his chest, contemplating deeply.

"We'll we could use that..."

He summoned his V Driver. "WV's Rider kick generates a lot of force, speed, and energy... We might be able to kick all the way through the mountain of snow... However.."

"My body will be left behind stuck in the cave as the snow collapses back in. I'll be basically completely trapped.. Still you can go get help and so long as it doesn't take TOO long I should be fine.."

"Hell no,"

Very blunt, and very straight to the point. Are you seriously saying that... Seth should literally kick himself out of the avalanche, out towards safety, and just LEAVE Oliver here in the middle of a snowstorm nowhere, and potentially left to his death? Well, fat chance. Like hell he's ever gonna agree to it. He's protesting the idea like a kid though, sitting there silently at the dark corner of the cave all curled up, pouting and sulking.

"Oi. Dumbass.." Oliver said shoving Seth with his foot with a sigh. "I have super thick thermal clothes, a safe location, and I'll be in your body so I won't be bored. I'll be fine And if you wish to continue this argument all you have to do is one simple thing."

He crouched down and ruffled the boy's hair as he grinned broadly. "Name a better idea." He said flatly.

Basically this was their only choice, it wasn't like he loooved the idea himself. But this was the best they had as far as ideas went. If Seth had some sort of amazing stroke of genius in the next five minutes then that would be fine, but as far as things stood this was the only plan that made any sense.

"Listen..... we're partners right? That means we trust each other.... Right now I trust you 100% to protect my body. I only put it in harms way knowing that you're there to protect me.... Don't betray my trust by refusing to even try!"

Dammit, don't go around putting it that way! Now he'd feel terrible whether he leaves him here OR went along with his plan. But really, shouldn't he be grateful Oliver is the one doing the thinking here? You know how ridiculously indecisive Seth is, it would take forever if Oliver ever let Seth make his own decision.

Because really, he wanted a route that wouldn't risk anyone. But even as he raked his mind he really can't come up with anything.

Seth grimaced slightly, dropping his head and stayed silent. Not sure whether he was contemplating the decision or still in his silent protest. But seriously though, they have to come up with something! Either go with the plan or stay here and die! Don't you trust your partner?!

...

"Argh, FINE, FINE!" He yelled in defeat, immediately getting up to his feet, taking the Legend Memory out of his pocket. "Sheesh, does this mean I have to stay in WV form until we get your body out?" Admittedly the idea of a masked man in a suit of armor with a long billowing red scarf wrapped around his neck suddenly barging into a hospitable area to ask for help is... a bit strange. "Where are we supposed to get help anyway? We're practically in the middle of a snowstorm at nowhere last time I checked,"

"Hurm... good question. I guess the first option would be going back to that house we left and the people that betrayed us, also. No Just leave your belt on and the psychic link will remain. That should be good enough."

Derh... alright, let's get this over with... After Oliver had placed his Rider Memory in his Lost Driver he placed his own Legend Memory in his own Lost Driver. Oliver's Lost Driver seemed to vanish to nothingness as it reappeared on Seth's own belt, forming a Double Driver. "Henshin," It's like a ceremony or something, to say that word. Pushing the arms of the Double Drivers pieces of armor started to surround him, fixing around him in such a way to form Kamen Rider WV Rider Legend. With it's signature golden band and red scarf.

"Let's... put you somewhere safe first..." Seth said, picking the unconscious body of Oliver up and placing him at a particularly solid looking corner of the cave. Hopefully that part would hold, in case the whole place does gets caved in. "...Stay safe, alright?" He said, momentarily forgetting that Oliver was quite literally in his own head.

I tell ya, three minds in one body is just too much... The metavirus commented, obviously not pleased in his current situation.

Well, whatever. Just hold on there for a moment. Seth took out the Legend Memory from the Double Driver, placing it in his Maximum Drive slot where it announced [MAXIMUM DRIVE]. A massive amount of energy flowed from the Double Driver to his foot. "Rider Kick," He said, before driving his foot to the blocked entrance, practically drilling himself through the thick wall of ice and snow, defying physics all the way through, breaking out of the blockade moments later.

As expected though, there was a massive rumble. Looking back the hole they just made started to crumble, before the whole area started to cave in. Seth had to fight the instinct to leap back into the cave to get Oliver's body, and instead just stood there, grimacing a bit behind the jet black mask of his. "Alright... to the cabin it is,"

Once free of the cave it didn't take that long at all to return to the place where they had met the people and first arrived. Perhaps only now would they realize they'd never been given names. They'd never learned any details at all about these people. What was so obvious in hindsight had eluded them completely in the moment...

'Best not to enter in kamen rider mode.' Oliver said folding the belt closed and canceling the henshin. 'They probably don't know about RxL and it's good to have a ace up our sleeve.'

The return to the house was not pleasant. Dead bodies littered the room. The men that had helped them were all dead. Coming down the stairs was a single figure. The Crow Head Thief, still in his mask. "So good of you to make it.." He said coldly as he raised his gun to the boy."The star of today's performance.. Seth Ryouga.."

"Well... There is one more member of our little dance today.." He said pulling out a mobile phone and turning it to the boy, revealing a picture of Youma, bound, gagged, and unconcious.

"Please note the wounds she has that haven't healed.. Let me assure you her immortality is of no value to her now. She is truly and wholely in very real danger.."

'Seth... s.. stay calm..'
