NICE DRIVE!
|
With a bright flash, the Fire Division squad appeared within the seaside train station; Hiro stood at the center of the group of five. Glancing around they would notice the area seemed to be laced with a thick fog. Near the train at the current platform was a small group of several Englishmen in black suits. To some degree they brought to mind the members of the B.P.R.D. although these men had a far more dignified air about them. "Come on," Hiro spoke softly to his squad as he advanced towards the train itself and the men working. "Hiro Tsukasa I presume? We've already loaded the cargo." one of the men questioned as he pulled aside the door to step into the train car. He spoke in English with a clear accent. "Yes," Hiro answered him in return speaking English as well, "Then leave the rest to Arcadia. We'll contact the Hellsing Organization first thing once we have secured the package safely in its proper place." "Alright," the man answered and then began to speak in Japanese addressing the entire group, "This is a passenger car. Two cars back is a storage car holding the cargo. From your location there are several more passenger cars and a dining car mixed in before you reach the front of the train. There won't be any other passengers besides the conductor. We'll let you take it from here." Having explained this, Hiro nodded a thanks and the man bowed as he then moved to join his companions. It had been a long, but thankfully uneventful, journey bringing the artifact to the coast of Japan. Now the task of defending it would fall to Arcadia as they transported it via train back into Hyakuji where they might store it safely within Arcadia Mansion. Without hesitation, Hiro Tsukasa entered the passenger car and motioned for the rest to follow. With a soft sigh, Hiro took a seat around the center area of the passenger's car and stared out the window enjoying the scenery of the coast wrapped in the thick gloomy fog. They would probably need to discuss how they'd defend the entire train just to be safe, but for the time being there was no rush. The train was moments from departing and nobody would be so foolish as to attack it at the station itself. Especially when members of Hellsing would still be present to intervene in such a battle. |

Mira kept her demonic presence under tighter wraps than even usual. there could be a literally painful, yet all the same understandable problem when a high level demon like herself was there. Once the English gentleman left, she entered the train car with the other members of Arcadia. She sat down and waited for the discussion of tactics to begin. If he was open for input, she had suggestions. Edited by Tzauri, Feb 5 2012, 10:03 AM.

Now, let's play together...under the clearest of blue skies.

Erin sat quietly in a seat across from Hiro, looking around. She didn't really recognize any of her team members...she was hoping for at least one familiar face, but since she was new to field work, she figured she should have expected this. Even if she had seen them around at HQ, she didn't think she had ever really been in an extended conversation with any of them, at least not to where she could identify them by name. "Ah...I'm Erin. Nice to meet everyone." She said, introducing herself to her teammates. Of course, Hiro she knew already. As for protecting the cargo, she did have an input. "If I keep watch, I can probably see them coming from a distance of about 300 meters, although I may not be able to identify them very well." She said, "I'm an Aeromancer." She explained to her new teammates, who probably didn't know who she was. "As long as we leave a window open, I can sense things by the air for a good distance...unless they teleport in, or something like that." Solid objects will always displace the air around them, and Erin's primary ability was to sense the air precisely enough that she could pick out objects by the 'silhouettes' caused by the displacement, even at large distances, and omnidirectionally, too. The weakness was that there had to be a contiguous trail of air inbetween her and where she wanted to see, and with every window closed, the train car was hermetically sealed, or close enough. "If we leave a window open in each car of the train, I can also see into the entire train from any one car...although leaving windows open probably doesn't do much for our security." She admitted, "So I'm not sure if it's a good idea or not...If we just leave them cracked, it would probably be good enough, but still..." |

Bocky took a window seat on the train and just smiled. This was going to be his first real mission, not counting the whole cathulu battle. He wondered what exactly they were going to transporting. Must be something important if it needs to be so well hidden. Bocky spoke up as people began to sit down to share a thought."So we are supposed to be defending this package and hide it from whoever wants it. Why don't we do the old switch-a-woo with it so even if someone tries to, they will take a fake. Or we could just all stay back with the package and just knock the block off anyone who tries taking it." |

"Yet if we tried to switch the package I'm sure who ever is looking for it will know. At least that is how I feel, or at least would do in their situation. They are also probably going to have us scouted in some way." Daemon says with a smile from the back of the passenger train. Yet he lazily looks out of the window, and stares deeply into the bleak night sky. After a few moments, he lets out a sigh. Who would of knew that he would of been called into a situation this soon after joining Arcadia. |

"His english is good!" Haru thought as he watch carefully Hiro and the guy in black suit talking each other eventhough Haru didn't know what they're talking about. After a while they were talking to each other, the guy in black suit then turned to the group and started to talk with them in japanese. He said that this car was a passenger car, And Two cars back was a storage car holding the cargo, and There won't be any other passengers besides the conductor. After Hearing the explanation, Haru then turned his head to the two cars back, and back again to Hiro as he followed Hiro entered the passenger car. After get in, Haru then took a random seat, plus he was the last person who entered the passenger car. And it seemed, this was the right time to discuss some plans while they still could think easily withouth someone or something disturbing them. After thinking like that, then someone in the group started to open the conversation with introducing her name--Erin--and continued it with explaining about her power. Hearing Erin explained her power was making Haru a bit impressed! she was aeromancer and she could sense things if there was any air in the area! "Wow! That's awesome, Erin!" Haru said to Erin. "Oh.. sorry.. I haven't introduce my name yet, right? hehe" Haru said as he suddenly remembered that he haven't introduce himself to the group. "Name's Haru! Nice to meet you, guys! And my power is Sound Manipulation! hehe" Haru then introduced himself to the group. "And yeah, I agree with him. If we tried to switch the package I'm sure who ever is looking for it will know. It's not that simple afterall.." He stopped his words "Eventhough Hiro-sensei said that it's simple.. Haha" "Ah yeah Hiro-sensei, It's about the enemies.. Have another info about them?" Haru asked Hiro again, actually he knew that Hiro have mentioned about the enemies when they were still in control room.. But still, Haru wanted to make sure again about it if he missed something important in Hiro explanation. |

"The Hellsing Organization's orders were very specific regarding the artifact," Hiro began after the rest of the group had a chance to weigh in on the situation, "While it's being shipped in a simple looking wooden box, the box also has special properties masking it from detection. There's no real way to swap around a large box like that with a similar fake we don't have handy. Opening it to swap the actual contents would nullify the edge we're getting as Daemon's comment is most likely true." "Although I think Erin's idea might be handy," Hiro added thoughtfully, "If our thieves intend to claim the relic during the train ride then they probably already have a good way developed to get on board and inside. Having open windows probably won't matter. My only concern is some sort of air-born attack, but then again... with you being an Aeromancer, Erin, I'd like to imagine you could easily deal with something like that." Slowly, the train began to whistle as its movement began; pulling slowly out from the station as it worked towards its full speed. "So I think we'll go with Erin's plan," Hiro concluded, "Beyond that... if you want to spread out to the other cars feel free. I feel like staying in this one that's adjacent to the cargo car personally, but I want everyone else to use their best judgment. We'll keep in contact via the Link and group up as soon as possible if something goes wrong." "Until then," Hiro laughed playfully as he lounged back into his seat and glanced out the window cracking a smile as he noticed the full moon hanging in the sky, "Enjoy the train ride~" |

"I could stand guard in the cargo room. The way I see it, they'd probably like to take whatever it is without having to fight us." she offers "If I wait there, they'll be too busy keeping a scythe out of their face to just snatch it and run." She then wondered something "Hey, what exactly are we even guarding anyways?" she asked. Edited by Tzauri, Feb 6 2012, 11:17 AM.

"Oh, thank you." Erin replied to Haru, "It's something that took me a while to get the hang of." She smiled at Hiro's acceptance, happy that she was able to contribute meaningfully. "Alright. I'll keep watch through the wind." She declared, shifting a bit in her seat to get into a more comfortable position - she was going to be sitting there for a while, after all. "I can't use my Windsight and my regular sight at the same time, so I'll be sitting here and focusing. If there's something important, just nudge me or send me something through the link." If they were approaching externally, she would be able to give plenty of advance warning. The only other possibility was an invasion from within - if the assailants were somehow already on the train. It was possible, but...She had seen the B.P.R.D. members outside, although she didn't really know who exactly they were, she got the feeling that they were a pretty secure organization. She was sure that the train had already been checked for those kinds of things. But there were still two things she wanted to bring up... "If I were the person trying to get that package...If I was the person we're up against...there are two targets I'd go after." She figured the best way to figure out the enemy's plan was to put herself in the shoes of the foe. "First, I'd probably try to replace the conductor. That gives control of the train. And second, I'd probably try to decouple the cargo car, to separate it from its defenders." She said, thinking carefully about what her enemies might try. She didn't know whether or not they actually knew which car was the cargo car, but if they didn't know already, they'd probably find it if they got on the train. "So...I guess we should watch out for those two things once the fight starts..." With that said, she closed her eyes again, activating her Windsight. "I'll start standing guard. I'll send a message through the link if I see anything big moving." Edited by Erin, Feb 6 2012, 08:59 PM.

Bocky spoke up and said "Well I guess that's the plan. I guess ill go to the front of the train and keep watch over the conductor." He paused for a moment before continuing "After all I want to be where possible action is." He began to walk towards the front car, where the conductor was, before stopping suddenly. He said to everyone "Oh, and I'm Bocky" He then continued towards the car. |

"I'm sorry, My name is Dae.. Gah!" Daemon says as he grabs hold of chest, dropping to the floor of the train. As soon as he hits the ground, he lets out a blood curdling scream. He rolls around on the ground, with bones breaking almost everywhere in his body bringing his change. Slowly he becomes what most would greatly fear, a Werewolf. "I'm Daemon Wolfbane." He says with a growl, as he slowly stands back up. Spoiler: click to toggle

"No problem!" Haru said to Erin as he gave a thumb up "Alrighty sir! Let's enjoy the train! hehe" Haru said to the group as he heard Hiro said that until then enjoy the ride. Haru was excited, but in the other side he was curious about something. Erin then started to talk about the enemy's plan if it was her, and after she was finished to talk. Haru then nod slightly "Yeah.. I think you're right, Erin. And as you said, We shouldn't let our guard down, right? hehe" Haru chuckled a bit as he turned hos glanced to the outside of window. "It was a calm night, the wind was really great in here, I wonder how's up there?" Haru thought to himself as he turned his head to the top of car. Haru turned his head to bocky as bocky was started to walk away to the front of the train and suddenly stopped and introduced himself to everyone, his name was Bocky. "That's a cool name.. I guess" Haru thought to himself as he stood up, yeah, he couldn't just sitting relax in there while everyone was already made their own action. "Alri--- e-eh??" Suddenly a boy in their group was shouting as he grabbed his chest, dropping to the floor of the train. "O-oi! Are you alright?" Haru was surprised, then suddenly his body was changing, and now he became completely like a werewolf. Seeing that Haru then in reflect did a step back as the werewolf introduced himself, and his name was Daemon. "Y-you.. a werewolf?" Haru asked in confusion, was he still controlling his own concious? If not, then it'll be a trouble for the group. |

Mira was far less shocked than one might think she'd be after that episode. While she did jolt from her seat after that incident, that was only because she heard a scream and wanted to be scared. After all, it'd practically be hypocritical for Mira to be judgemental. Besides, the last time she met a werewolf, she was attacked. Hopefully, wolf boy wouldn't come to the same conclusions Terado did, ones which had been false, though 'common sense'. Hopefully, well, hopefully, at the very least, wolf boy would put two and two together and realized that Arcadia's higher ups knew that she was a demon when they let her in. In a sense, Mira feared Daemon's werewolf form. But not for it's teeth, claws, or strength... but for what might be the raw strength of it's sense of smell. But she kept a straight face. |

"If you paid attention at the briefing," Hiro answered lazily at Mira's question, "The Hellsing Organization wasn't providing us any intel on the artifact. They wanted to avoid the off-chance it was somehow intercepted by their enemies or even third parties that might take an interest. We'll know when we get it back to Arcadia. Or I suppose sooner, if things take a turn for the worse." Just as everyone began to take the initiative and split up aboard the train, a wondrous transformation occurred for one of the members as he became a werewolf. Hiro remained unflinching as the situation occurred; merely cracking a smile instead. He'd already reviewed the files Arcadia kept on their new recruits. While it might have been unnerving for the others, the situation was overall a boost to their current matter. In this state the boy would have heightened senses to help with detecting any threats. If said threats should appear, he would be much more valuable to the group in this form as well. As everyone took their proper places, Bocky eventually found himself at the front of the train with the conductor. He was an elderly man dressed sharply as a butler of sorts. As the boy got closer the conductor glanced back and gave a friendly smile. "Hey boy," he spoke with a tired voice, "Everything okay back there? I may not be an active member anymore, but the Organization saw it fit to have me handle this. If a fight breaks out back there I won't be of much use so I hope you Arcadia guys can handle it." |

Erin came out of her trance for a moment when she realized that something was happening around her. She had been focusing on the fringes of her vision to look for approaching enemies, but just beside her, one of their teammates seemed to have collapsed. She opened her eyes, the map of the surrounding area in her mind being replaced with the familiar interior of the train car. "Ohmygoshareyouokay!?" She said in a panicked voice, leaning down. He was screaming and it sounded like his bones were breaking. But she realized that he was...transforming. She wasn't all that relieved...it meant that he wasn't dying, but...was he in control of himself...? His wolf form was really terrifying, and Erin scared easily. But...he looked like he was still himself...he was speaking after all. She took a tentative step back, but allowed herself to breathe again. Even though he looked really scary, he probably wasn't going to go berserk on them. "S...sorry...I didn't know." she said meekly, apologizing for her panicked outburst earlier. She had really thought he was dying. "I'll...go back on watch." She said, a little shaken. Sitting back down in her seat, she closed her eyes again, seeming lost in thought as she scoured the area with her power. She could still speak while using Windsight, of course. It was difficult for the scene to leave her mind. She...had also once experienced an unimaginable pain. An evil item that had to be ripped out of her. The feeling like her entire body was rebelling against itself... "Is it...is it like that...every night...?" She asked in a weak voice, towards Daemon. Edited by Erin, Feb 10 2012, 02:50 PM.
