She'd turned the chain against him. He should have expected that. He'd turned her sword against her, not that that had worked particularly well. Spike grabbed his left fist and jutted his elbow out throwing himself forward at her, throwing his body in with it. What had he been thinking. There was no reason to think about things like strategy or-

Falling forward his arm was cut again. His mouth shifted but he made no noise. He wasn't sure what had happened. Rematch? Had he lost? Was that the end? As his now thoroughly destroyed arm was thrown to the side a limp bleeding mess hanging from his body he threw his right in as well. A raw punch, no form behind it. Just slamming his fist forward as hard as he could as his body turned in pain. "RRAAAAAAHHH!"

Who knows whether her strike hits or not. All she knew after she drew her sword and swung it at him, there was this powerful shock to her head, a sickening CRACK, a blinding pain, and she was thrown backwards a good couple of feet, landing on her back in a cloud of dust on the ground, spread eagle and motionless. Hakurouken feel at her side with a clatter, bouncing off the ground once before shattering brilliantly in thousands of pieces.

Was that the end?

"YOUMAAA!!!"

A distressed yell came from a distance, as one could see a boy running urgently towards the downed contestant after tossing himself off from the spectator's stand, "Youma!" He yelled again as he skidded to a halt, immediately getting to his knees to address the completely immobile half-phantom. "Youma-hey... come on, wake up! You're stronger than this, right...? CALL THE MEDICS, DAMMIT!" It was clear that he was more than just concerned or worried about her safety at the moment. The boy cursed himself mentally as his fist met with the ground in frustration. Dammit, why the hell did he even let her in this tournament?!

...As his fist met the ground, at the same time he could feel a much smaller fist knocking him lightly at the side of his head. Not only was he terribly glad to know that easily meant she's still conscious, but he was also surprised at how gentle she was. Compared to all the times he had been on the receiving end of her punches... "Idiot... you're gonna... get me disqualified..." The girl said in a shaky voice, trying to push herself up to her feet, but only managing halfway there. Partly because she needed some time to straighten her head, but also partly because Seth's not letting her.

"You idiot!" The half-phantom was taken aback from how hysterical his voice sounded. He's not exactly good at hiding his emotions, much less knowing that... oh, no she can't. The power canceller's still at work. But she probably doesn't need her ability to smell out emotions. The mellow and bittersweet smell of his compassion and worry was obviously apparent on his face. "If it's gonna get you disqualified with me interfering with the fight then I'll make it so! I dunno why I decided to let you into this fight in the first place, but I do know that I regret doing so and I'm taking you out!" Goddammit, why the hell is he crying now?! She knows he's worried, but to that extent? Gaaah, this is so embarrassing!

"O-okay, alright, sheesh! I quit, is that good?! Now stop doing that, it's gonna destroy my reputation!" She flustered, feeling her cheek burn red as she turned away from him with a huff and pouting. Sheesh, why the hell is she so weak against him when he's like that...? It was then her eyes caught Spike... however he's doing.

...

"I take it back," She said, suddenly sounding steely and stern. "I'm not quitting yet,"

"Ha?"

Spike slammed to the ground with a clear thud having resolved his final attack. Spike laid there dazed, ready to rest up for his next fight. She quit so he could just collapse now, right? Then she took it back and he jerked up staring at her. Damn it. He'd been so close to making it out of this clear and free.

"You should listen to your boy friend and quit." Spike always supported his opponent's decision to give up.

Haphazardly trying to rise to his feet the bike slowly rolled back behind him, giving him a way to rise up. It supported his weight as he rose to his feet and om the end threw his leg over it sitting back down. The bike wasn't moving so well, slow and jerky, but Spike wasn't really moving at all at this point so that was good enough.

Spike revved the bike, which at his point was wheezing more than roaring. It sputtered to a start billowing out smoke as it clunkily moved toward Youma... Or not. The two instead moved to retried the chain that had been launched at her earlier. Spike grasped it with his right hand and started to spin the chain by his side.

Now the bike was jumpily heading toward Youma though Spike's main intention now was to hit her upside the head with this chain as they closed the distance.

"Wait, Youma! What the hell are you thinking? Listen to me won't you!" She heard the boy said in desperation as the half-phantom pushed herself up to her feet, still feeling quite dazed from the earlier hit to the head. Of course, she heard him but she had no intention to listen to him. Sometimes the half-phantom can be a little bit too stubborn for her own good.

"Sorry boy, but I can't just back away," She said with a grin on her face, pushing Seth out of the way and walking a bit sloppily towards Spike as he mounted his bike. "I have pride too you know," The girl raised a hand, pointing a finger it at the chain-wielding rider. "How can a seven hundred years old half-phantom whom had made an infamous legend of herself lose to a kid without any powers?"

"And for your information... and to everyone else watching this fight... HE IS NOT MY BOYFRIEND!!!" Dammit, when is everyone gonna stop thinking that way? The girl crouched low as his opponent jerkily approached her, ignoring any kind of resistance or protest from her master attempting to stop her from fighting anymore, and immediately dashed forward. Quite unlike Spike, she was mostly fine, save for the throbbing pain on her head after that last punch that she couldn't recover from.

Yeah, she couldn't use her powers. Right now she's nothing more than a powerless fifteen years old midget trying to take on a burly manly bike rider wielding a chain as his weapon. But as stated earlier, even without her powers, two of her valuable aspect is her quick speed and agility. Her only options this time are tactic, quick thinking, counterattacks, using her opponents strength against his own, staying alive and staying conscious.

Luckily for her Spike's not gonna go any faster than that bike's going. And that bike's going slow.

The chain's going pretty darn fast though.

CRACK!

The half-phantom gasped in pain as she sidestepped slightly, the chain missing her head, but unfortunately made a solid smash on her shoulder. Of course, had it been something that's much more solid like a stick or a baseball bat it would have broken her arm off completely, but it's still quite painful. Coupling with the fact that right now she literally has the constitution of a midget...

Arm throbbing in pain, the girl kicked off the ground when she was practically face to face with the sentient bike, quickly using the motorcycle as her stepping stone to jump above and over Spike's head, throwing her foot down HARD at him in the process. She lacks power at the moment so she had to rely on gravity to deal damage.

Well, to put it simply, thing's are not going to go well for her from now on. Much to Seth's dismay.

"I expected you to be blunter." Spike didn't expect the one who so actively tried to win to circle around an issue like that.

Spike saw her jump and then step off the bike. That wasn't a bad idea was it? Pretty smooth move really. Spike was impressed, but as far as he was concerned it was time to make a counter-attack. If she was bringing her foot down on him then he was bringing his fist up to meet it.

She was going to be upset it she expected that to stop him, though he admitted trying to punch incoming attacks was probably a stupid move ninety percent of the time. "HHHRRAAAHH!" He couldn't help himself though. Spike saw his ideal outcome here. She flipped and smacked her head into the ground behind her.

Alright, she underestimated him. He still has a LOT of energy to fight despite having taken quite a beating before this. Also godDAMMIT, NOW she knows just how strong his punch is, considering she doesn't have any powers at the moment. The brutishly strong punch met with her foot, feeling as though she had landed HARD on the ground on one foot after jumping off a who knows how many stories building. "Keh...!" Luckily her reflex is as good as ever, bending herself the moment her foot struck, absorbing some of the impact, though she couldn't help but be thrown off her balance and off the air, just like Spike planned. I mean, it's not easy using your opponent's fist as your footing.

"Right, that didn't work too well..."
The half-phantom muttered in annoyance, quickly scrambling up to her feet after her unceremonious fall to the ground, backing off rather quickly trying to keep her distance from Spike and his bike.

...Not sure what else she's supposed to do. I mean, she can't really go against Spike and his bike head-on now can he?

Spike half-heartedly grinned. "Now I'm willing to call it a draw." He felt pretty satisfied. Apparently he'd felt the need to collide a couple more times before he was satisfied. He still wanted to win but now he didn't feel like he would be able to decisively end it, so there was no real reason not to leave it to the Judges, was there?

But despite saying it, he still revved the bike's motor, the bike jerking to a start and rolling forward. A heavy collision could still do something even if it didn't have a lot of speed behind it. He'd stop in a beat if she surrendered, but if not he'd slam into her again.
