TIME: IT WAS THE DAWN OF THE AGE OF MAN... OR JUST DAWN LOCATION: WE'RE LOST IN THE WOODS!!! HEEELLPP!!!! "Another idiot with no powers made it to round two...?" Deus said in surprise. "What a shock... I wonder if he can really beat this swords chick.." "Are you... interested in a fight for once?!" Chronus said eagerly. "I'm just worried I may have to reap his soul if he dies.. That'd be a huge pain.." "S.. should have known.." Chronus said with a sigh. "Well either way it should be interesting! FIGHTERS, BATTLE!" Edited by Cypriss, Jan 31 2012, 09:56 AM.

Let's be honest here, even if it may sound a bit arrogant. Her first round was too easy, and in her opinion barely proved to be much of a warm-up. You could say she was a bit disappointed because the only reason why she joined this tournament was to fight. It's been... so long since she'd been challenged by anyone, and after living for so long fighting for her life it just became apart of her. Not fighting somehow makes her edgy and she needed somewhere to vent it out... And she's disappointed to hear that her next opponent will be someone who doesn't even have any powers... goddammit, where the hell are all the strong ones?! At least give her someone who can get her in a pinch! Seriously what is some dude with spiky hair gonna do to her?! ...Is what she wanted to say, but she managed to get back to the stadium after her fight, getting to watch a small portion of his opponent's previous fight. Let's just say... this Spike Ito person... may be able to entertain her. |

How could Spike not be excited hearing his opponent was some sort of swordsman. It sounded like fun. A lot funner than fighting some machine gunner. Not that he hadn't enjoyed that, but it hadn't felt like a fight once she started shooting. After all Spike was a brawler and you couldn't brawl bullets. Spike had a chain draped over his neck, and his gut had been wrapped with bandages, his uniform jacket hanging open revealing his chest. He wheeled the bike onto the field. "I'm going this alone, alright." He patted the bike and grinned. He'd made his entrance last time. Now he was just here to fight. Hopefully he'd have fun with it. Otherwise there was no point in being here. Spike cracked his knuckles. "How about you just give up now girly." He had to make it to the next round after all if he wanted to get his rematch. Probably should have paid more attention. He wasn't entirely certain that Jen even made it to the next round. Well, beating whoever beat her would do just as well. |

"Tell that to yourself, durian," Well, this person certainly made an interesting first impression of a badass. To think he actually survived his first round against someone who wields a machine gun. The girl couldn't help but give a small smirk of excitement. All in all he might not be what he seemed on the outside; a normal delinquent without any powers. Well, what's the use in talking. Fight's started and she seriously hoped this Ito kid can satisfy her need for a good fight. Else she'll just slaughter him like she wanted to but never did with that Gene kid during her first match. "Saa... come on then, make your first move," She declared, folding her arms as she stood there stock still like a tree stump. Part of her actually doubted the fact that he doesn't have any powers. How else would he have been able to get to the second round like this? "I just hope you're physically and mentally prepared to lose to a girly~" |

Spike laughed. It was great. His opponent was even willing to throw out some worthless banter. That was an important part of a fight, even if he had no idea what a durian was! "I'll start as long as you don't mind bein' beat down by some powerless punk." Spike used his opening move. It was the only one he really bothered with so it would come as no surprise to anyone. His weight shifted as he prepared himself. A blind charge straight at his opponent. If she was underestimating him he'd take advantage, and if she was relying on her trick he'd break though. As he entered his distance he struck at her with a... RIGHT STRAIGHT! "OORRRRYYAHHH!" He was throwing his punches full force from the get go. |

"...An idiot through and through," The girl muttered with a somewhat disappointed sigh, unfolding her arms as she held one hand in front of her as though gripping something invisible, all the while Spike was charging straight at her like a bull...! FLASH! A bright explosion of light erupted from her outstretched hand, potentially blinding anyone who decided she wasn't actually gonna do anything worth of thought. At the same time within the flash of light, one of her endeared sword, Hakurouken materialized in her hand out of nowhere, held upright with its tip pointing straight at Spike's charging body! If he doesn't stop now or roll aside or... I dunno, whatever, he might as well just run straight forward and would result in himself being impaled by the sword.

He jumped it. "Of course!" You can hardly expect Spike to be impaled. And you can even less expect him to stop charging, so he jumped. Such a rudimentary move as magically summoning a sword out of nowhere wasn't impressive. His last opponent had summoned guns out of nowhere. That was obviously more impressive! Sure, being in the air meant he couldn't dodge or anything, but he had never been one to dodge anyways. Spike continued with his original plan and slammed his fist forward. He could hardly be satisfied with a fight if he couldn't even throw his opening blow. Didn't matter if it hit but he had to throw it. |

Crude and rash, not to mention daring. She has to give him credit for his tenacity, but that's not gonna falter her. The moment he threw his fist downward yet another bright flash of light erupted from her, this time summoning her Big Fucking Sword Roukanken. She gripped the sheathed Roukanken and held it in the way of his punch to intercept it.
Like she's done with just that. Good thing he decided to get up in the air, she's not letting this chance go. holding her oversized sword in place she tightened her grip on Hakurouken, swinging it over her head in at attempt to knock him HARD on the head and knock him out with one blow! Of course, she's using the back of her blade so...no harm done. Maybe.

Spike had thrown his punch into a big fucking sword. He grinned cheerfully. His opponent took out her big gun... sword. She took out another powerful weapon.Pulling back his arm he fell to the ground, lifting the chain on his neck up to catch the blade coming down on him. That much he could deal with. Blocking a sword strike though, that was exciting.
Throwing himself back he pulled the chain away, holding it between his hands. He had to admit. Swinging around two swords like that. Spike would be okay giving up his title to her is she won. Not that that was a real possibility. Still, what should Spike do? "Your turn to attack." He crossed his hands behind his head. He was trying to piss off his opponent. He couldn't help it. She was too arrogant. He'd put her in her place. |

Quite the gall he's got, looking as fearless as ever even in the hands of someone whom could potentially chop him up to bits if she wanted to. Or so she thought. "You're seriously gonna give me that free hit?" The girl asked, though she unsheathed her Roukanken nevertheless, the gigantic silver blade in comparison to her otherwise much smaller frame shimmered in the dawn light. "Well, I'm not complaining," That was one last sentence from her before she placed the hilt of Hakurouken in her mouth, clenching it tightly between her teeth, using her now spare hand to wield the sheath of the oversized sword like its the real deal. It looks obnoxiously ridiculous and completely impractical, but the half-phantom had achieved something a whole lot crazier back then when she was still powerful. No more talking, partly because she can't talk now, and partly because she's gonna start beating the crap out of him because he told her to. Or at least, that's how she understood it.
At speed that's completely improbable for someone her size and carrying that kind of weight, she rushed towards Spike with speed that could rival an athlete, the two swords and a sheath primed for the kill. She crossed the Roukanken and the sheath in front of her as she got close, before swinging them in a large cross-shaped arc. Thanks to the length of Roukanken she can cover a pretty huge ground with that alone. |

Obviously that sort of swordsmanship was something that could destroy him. Spike gritted his teeth. He was up against an insane enemy. Who put a sword int heir teeth. "You didn't give me my free hit." He wanted to dash in. He wanted to. HE WANTED TO! He couldn't help it. Spike was a madman and a fool, and it should come to no surprise. Spike dashed forward. It was safer to take the blow from the massive sheathe than the small sword. And that was safer than being cleaved in two by the big one. Not that Spike consciously considered any of that. He fought on nothing but gut instinct. Spike charged, laughing! She thought she was something? He didn't know what she was going to do so he picked the large blade. As long as he knew what one was doing he could work with that. He would face that giant sword head on! As he realized the path of her blades arcs he moved into the massive sword's arc. That, many would way is the exact wrong way to fight but if Spike took that blade on then he would surprise her. The chain doubled up between his hands he clasped the blade between his hands... As if he had the skill needed to do something like that. Well, he did grab it, but he didn't stop it. The blade cut into his shoulder as it flung him away. Rolling against the ground spike stood up, glancing the clear cut in his uniform and the blood. It wasn't so deep that he lost the use of his arm, though it wasn't pleasant by any means.
The motorcycle sat there, considering the situation and being a motorcycle. |

...The hell, is he seriously that much of an idiot?! If surprising her was all he wanted to do then he certainly got his wish. The girl was momentarily stunned at his overly rash charge as he was tossed away by her strike. She stood there, staring at him with her mouth slightly open in disbelief, Hakurouken dropping to the ground with an audible clang, as he inspected the damage on his shoulder. God... dammit, he's even worse than Seth... at least the boy knows better than to actually CHARGE STRAIGHT INTO A SWINGING SWORD. Wait, dammit don't falter! One of the worst thing you could do is to space out in a fight! Shifting her footing she quickly kicked Hakurouken off the ground, before anchoring her other foot on the ground and turning on the spot, kicking the smaller sword by the hilt and sending it flying towards Spike's stomach with deadly speed and accuracy like an arrow!

He'd left his opponent agape, so that had to count for something. Unfortunately she soon regained her sense and kicked a sword at him. Like that was a reasonable reaction. Maybe throwing a sword at him but kicking it? Still Spike barely had time to come up with a comeback with the sword whizzing though the air at him. Now was his chance to try to turn it around. He would shift to the side, kick the sword to the ground then raise it against its owner! The plan was flawless. Spike's side was cut as he shifted. He hadn't had enough time to think up his plan and enact it. His side bled but that was alright. There was nothing he could do to not bleed against a sword. The blade fell to the ground by his side, it's momentum stopped by his flesh. Lifting it up, he pointed the blade back at her. She could probably teleport it out of his hand or something but that didn't matter. He didn't know how to use a sword anyways, though he assumed it was like a bat but you always wanted to hit with the same end. "Thanks for the present." Spike charged with his enemy's blade in hand, ready to swing it straight down if he got into range.

"I'm only lending it to you though," The girl wasn't particularly perturbed that her own weapon was being used against her, though it does irritate her slightly to see her beloved sword being used without her permission. She tossed the oversized sword sheath to the ground and raised her empty hand as Spike rapidly approached her, apparently attempting to stop the sword with her own hand?! Well, no. FLASH!!! That was one seriously ridiculous reaction speed if you think about it. The sword was brought down, the very edge of it touched her palm, forming a thin slice on her hand. The stinging pain acted like a beacon, and at that very moment she dispelled the sword, AND re-summoned it in a bright flash of light. In less than a millisecond, the alignment of the sword was completely turned around. She's holding the hilt of Hakurouken in her outstretched hand, while Spike was holding the eternally sharp steel blade of the sword.
"I'm taking it back," The girl grasped the hilt of the sword, mercilessly drawing it from her opponent's hand and hopefully slicing off any part of his body that she could while he's holding onto Hakurouken. At the same time she drew back her oversized sword, swinging it in a giant arc to once again smash his skull with the backside of the blade. It's really annoying to hold back in a fight.

She caught the sword. That was fine. He wasn't a swordsman. He'd admit it in an instant. His left was free so it was a chance to throw a punch. Of course the blade suddenly magically flipped around and he was holding the blade. He left a trail of blood in the air as he pulled back his right from the blade. He lowered his body as his left cut through the air going for her face. The motorcycle would have sighed if it could do that sort of thing. It may have been a crude choice but the bike had seen enough. It was time to roar into action! The engine roared as the bike cut its way across the battlefield The bike popped a wheelie, and slammed into the side of the blade coming down towards the back of Spike's head before twisting and hitting the ground behind him.
