Note this is taking place DURING 2nd period. So uh, don't be in two places at once guis >:U

Alex had arrived to the city by train not even maybe... what an hour ago now? He'd already stopped by his dorm and dropped off his one military style duffle bag then headed back out. He did think about going to class, but the thought passed through his mind rather quickly. He was already late to first or second or whatever period it was, so might as well just wait to start fresh tomorrow right?

He considered going out to explore the town, but there seemed to be quite a large expanse between the dorms and the gate to get off of school grounds... and that's a lot of open space for him to get caught. And so, like a good boy he went straight into the main building... however instead of heading to his classes he just kept going right up the stairs 'till he reached the rooftop.

The wolfboy stretched out and relaxed a bit leaning against a wall. He rather disliked the uniform but he understood he had to wear it, but that didn't mean he had to wear it properly. He completely neglected to wear the jacket, rolled up the shirt sleeves, and also forwent wearing the tie. But hey, it was still the uniform right?

There was something of a cold breeze this morning, but he was used to that kind of thing so it honestly didn't bother him. Alex laid back putting his hands behind his head staring straight up. Yeah, that sky was the same anywhere wasn't it...

Valentine made her way up to the rooftop, having never been there before. She ditched her History class since she didn't see anyone come in nor did she want to wait any longer. She opened the door to the rooftop, sighing as she shut the door behind her. She looked out at the sky from the entrance of the door, a cool breeze passing her.

She walked forward to the edge of the building, looking at the view of the school grounds. She didn't notice anyone up there with her, the assumption that everyone was to be in class lingering in her mind. Valentine was also in uniform but unlike the other students. she wore a black skintight bodysuit underneath. She was given the suit so she could wear human clothes without the fabric causing irritation to her skin.

Alex blinked and sat up upon hearing the door open and close again. Someone else was here. He stood up preparing to... well he didn't know just what but thankfully it wasn't a teacher or some other authority. Just some little girl.

"Yo." Alex blinked at the small girl. "What's up, you lost or somethin'?" He asked stretching his arms a bit and cracking his neck. Surely she was way too small to be a highschool student right? She was a full foot shorter than him for crying out loud. Surely she was like... a middle school student or something right? But then again this was Japan wasn't it... The wolf-boy scratched the back of his head lightly.

Valentines ears slightly perked up a bit, much like a regular person would if a sound caught their ear. She didn't realize that she wasn't alone on the roof, Valentine turning to see who the person was. She looked to the young man, "I'm not lost," she said as she stared at him, her tone of voice her typical emotionless self. She walked forward a bit towards him, "Why are you up on the roof?" she asked him, knowing that he might ask the same thing, "I thought every one was to be in class."

She crossed her arms, leaning against a structure, her sight no longer looking at him but at the rooftop itself. Another quick breeze rolled through her hair, Valentine closing her eyes and letting the feel of the cool air cross her face as well. She looked to him again, "What class are you supposed to be in?" She asked him.

So she wasn't lost. That meant she was a highschool student... probably. Though he could only raise an eyebrow at her tone. It was pretty... blank wasn't it? Usually if he snuck up on somebody (or rather, if they didn't notice him) They'd at least have some surprise in their voice. He blinked when she moved towards him a bit asking why he was on the roof and stating that she thought everyone was in class. Or supposed ot be anyways. Well, he could probably ask her the same thing but there was no point in playing that kinda game. And it's not like she could tattle without getting herself in trouble too, right?

"Ah well, I was already late so I figured might as well ditch it altogether." Alex spoke with an unconcerned shrug. "Hm? What class...?" The black-haired boy paused for a moment glancing up. "I think... it was art. What about you, kiddo?" He asked with a light grin, stretching his arms up back behind his head.

She looked off again as he told her his reason for skipping, "I'd rather not be in this school to begin with," she said to him, her arms still crossed while leaning against a structure, "Art? Do they make you draw lines and squares as if you were babies?" She asked him. The young man then addressed her as "kiddo", her eyes showing signs of being ticked off, "Kiddo?" She asked him, "I'm not a kid." She says as she gets off of the structure and unfolding her arms.

She looked to him, "I happen to be older than you," her fists were tightened a bit but she calmed down a bit, sighing as well, "I was in History class but no one showed up." She says with a calmer tone, "No one showed up and I was not going to be there for no reason."

Alex only nodded as she explained she didn't want to be in school to begin with. Ah yes, a feeling he knew well.

"Art? Do they make you draw lines and squares as if you were babies?"

He raised an eyebrow, "What? No-... well, probably to start with I dunno. It woulda been my first day." he said with another listless shrug dropping his hands to his sides. He only blinked at the look she gave him when he called her kiddo.

"Kiddo? I'm not a kid. I happen to be older than you,"

"Ah is that so... my mistake then, shorty." He said with a bit of a playful grin, he did notice her hands balling into fists (So she had a temper.), then release but he wasn't about to hit a girl. Let alone such a small one, he'd probably break her. "Ah, history's boring anyways, and it always changes depending on where you are." He said crossing his arms with a solid nod to this. "Besides, it's a beautiful day and it'd just be a shame to be cooped up indoors. My plan is to get off campus at around lunchtime and go check out the city." He said stepping towards the fencing and glancing out towards Hyakuji. To be honest, Alex had never really been in a city. Hell, he rarely set foot on land, so to say he was curious was something of a major understatement.

Valentine looked away as he called her shorty, ignoring the name. The young man then tells her about his plan about going to the city during lunchtime, "That sounds better than being here," she said, a moment of silence afterwards, "Mind if I tag along?" She asked, looking away as she did. "I've been in the city a couple times so I know a little bit," She said to him, "If that's not a problem..."

She got a bit angered, having asking him if she could tag along, "I mean, it's not because I want company or anything. I'm only doing it because I don't want to get lost. So don't get the wrong idea." She looked at him, slightly irritated. She crossed her arms again, leaning against the door to the stairs.

Alex was a bit surprised she asked to tag along into the city, saying she'd been there a few times and knew a little bit. He was surprised mostly because the girl didn't seem to be too friendly at all. Well, she was talkative, but not necessarily hospitable about it.

Regardless if she wanted to tag along he had no real reason to say no or anything. He opened his mouth to respond but before he could she contiued speaking saying that "it's not because I want company or anything." and it was only so she wouldn't get lost and such.

When she would look back at him he would have an almost pathetic puppy-like sadface. He waited a few moments for it to sink in before speaking "Aww you mean you don't like my company?"

It almost would have been convincing, if he didn't have such a fake if not taunting tone in his voice. After a moment or two he broke into a grin and shook his head " 'course you can come along though I don't know how good I'll be at keeping you from getting lost, but if nothin' else you won't be lost by yourself. I wouldn't be too surprised if people tend to give you a hard time." He said glancing up at the sky. Yeah lunch wasn't too far off.

Valentine watched the young man give her a weird expression, also asking if she didn't like his company. She tightened up her fist again out of irritation, the young man telling her it's fine if she does come along. "Humans don't give me a hard time," she said, still a bit irritated, "It's the things they do. Like being annoying..." She walked to the edge of the building once more, placing her hands on the fence and cooling off once again.

She looked out at the wind blowing through the trees and grass, the air blowing through her hair. "I forgot to ask," she continues to look on at the school grounds, "What is your power? Is it genetic?" She looked around as she waited for his reply, her hands grasping the chain link fence.

"Humans don't give me a hard time, It's the things they do. Like being annoying..."

"Ahh well, things like that can't be helped. 'Annoying' is subjective. What you find annoying might strike someone else as perfectly normal." He said lightly, watching as the small girl walked over to the fence staring out before asking him about his power.

"Hm? Oh... well... I guess it's genetic... in a way... but then again it's not like I was turned or anything well, not that I can remember. Though who'd turn a small child is beyond me." He said, mostly thinking aloud. "Ah, well, I'm a werewolf." The black-haired boy spoke rather nonchalantly about it. "I mean, some people think it's genetic, but the way it can be transfered others think it's a disease." He shrugged again, "I can't say for sure. Oh! By the way, name's Alex, what's yours?" He asked flashing a light grin and holding out his hand to shake.

"I guess," she says in response to his comment regarding being annoying. She raises an eyebrow a bit as he mentions his power, "A werewolf?" She asked him, turning to face him as well with her back to the chain link fence, "I don't think I've heard of that." She starts to think a bit, looking off as he continues on. "Well, I'd like to take a closer look at that some time," She said as she looks back to him, "It sounds interesting."

The young man then asks for her name as he gives his in return, his hand out before her. She kept her arms crossed, refusing his hand shake, "My name is Valentine," she said while looking at him, "And please refrain from touching me." After a moment of silence, her stomach began to lightly growl a bit, Valentine looking away.

Alex blinked and rectracted his hand. Odd little thing wasn't she? "Well, nice t' meetcha Valentine."

"I don't think I've heard of that."

"Really? I thought most cultures had some kind of werewolf legend." He said blinking and crossing his arms lightly glancing up. Well maybe she was from somewhere else? Or maybe she was just sheltered...

"Well, I'd like to take a closer look at that some time,"

"Ah! No can do little miss." He said, his bright green eyes moving back to the girl, "I can't really control myself when I'm in the full on beast-mode... so it's... well... it's too dangerous." He said dropping his arms to his side. Alex blinked and raised an eyebrow hearing her stomach growl. "Ah, hungry? Well, it should be close enough to lunch time for us to be able to make it off campus. Whaddaya say, shall we get goin'?"

He asked moving towards the door back down into the building.

"Really? I thought most cultures had some kind of werewolf legend," Alex said to her. Valentine looked to him, "I don't think my culture is something most humans have heard of," She responded back to him, "As I said previously, I'm older than you." He then told her that he wouldn't allow her to see his beast-mode. Valentine crossing her arms, "I'll be fine if you do happen to lose control. It's not like I'm defenseless."

Alex then commented on her stomach growling, "I don't really need to eat," she said as she pulls out her bar of food, "I've been eating this for sometime and I'm doing fine." She takes a small bite, putting the rest away. "I'll go with you though."
