Mira had thought she'd found a good place to be. A restaurant catering to the tough as nails type. Granted, she lacked a bike. Noise, tough people, and more. She could get used to this!

Granted, it seemed that people here liked to pick fights. In fact, a plain as day warning mentioned that 'the staff, establishment, and patron are not (legally) responsible if someone beats the crap out of you. In fact, this was the type of place where it was almost seen as the usual for someone to pick a fight for no reason. It was in fact, almost encouraged.

And Mira was just... rather bored. Near here table, there were a few unconscious idiots in biker jackets. They wanted to prove to her that this was not the place for cute little girls in colorful outfits. However, the precise reason she wore those types of outfits was to have half an excuse.

"Come on! I thought this was supposed to be a place for tough people! You morons ganged up on me, and you each fall after a few choice blows with an effing wood." she mentions.

"Isn't there anyone here worth my time? For anything." she thought, stuffing more chili fries into her mouth.

Violence was an odd thing. One of the largest flaws in humanity's development. No matter how much of a pacifist one was, there were only a finite number number of Ghandi's in the world. Everyone else had a break point before they started swinging wildly. Terado had learned the art of patience and tolerance over the years. Millions of days, hundreds of centries had taught him how to contain his more animalisitc tendencies. However, it was places like this that made him feel young again and actually act the age that he looked.

The werewolf was chugging down a beer he had had to wrestle away from some clod in a leather outfit. Terado sat there, chugging down the beer at the bar with a certain gusto, feeling his younger days returning to him and an old vigours fire being lit, no thanks to the beer mind you. He swung around on the bar stool, resting his elbows on the bar that was now behind him, his long raven mane falling over his left shoulder.

"That wasn't something you normally hear...." he said to himself as he scanned the room for the source of a somewhat misplaced girlish voice. His amber-red eyes came to rest on Mira and he chuckled. The little imp of a human had some moxy, he could see that right off the bat. He got up from his position, his workboots making loud thumping noises as he approached Mira, beer in hand.

The girl would see a rather large man, larger than most men, wearing a tarnished blue cap and a red ribbon to hold his hair together. Terado's chest sported a white-shirt covered in various speckles of grease and dirt, while his legs were covered in the lower half of a set of denim overall, while the top part was tied around his waist, making use of the sleeves to secure it in place.

"You're a little firecracker. Coming in here by yourself." before draining his beer.

He placed the now empty beermug on Mira's table, "Did you come in here for any particular reason?" Mira would see his eyes looking through the shadow that Terado's cap cast on his face.

Mira clutched her wooden scythe, before cleaning her mouth of chili. It would be awkward if she had to fight wearing her lunch on her face. It seemed for now, the large man only wanted to talk.

"In fact I did." Mira mentioned "I hear this is the type of place where people end up in fights a lot... and let's say I'm not the type of girl who watches b-rated soap ops for kicks. I came here because I wanted some idiots to try to beat me up."

She sighs.

"Problem is, I was hoping someone here was actually strong enough to give me a challenge." she sighed. She then points at the buff looking bikers.

"A few well placed blows with a wooden practice weapon was it took to clock out those nimrods. Heck, I didn't even have to use any of my frackin' powers." she mentions.

"Sounds masochistic." said Terado bluntly.

Terado began to circle the table, moving towards the oppossite side to which Mira was sitting. His eyes however were fixed on her. His nose even more so. "A girl seeking battle, with a practice weapon that is most unusual for a place such as Japan." Being as old as he was, despite his appearance, Terado had travelled the world time and again through the various centuries and seen how civilizations had grown and developed.

Scythes were an uncommon weapon within Japan. Practice Scythes even more so.

Terado took in a deep sniff of air, loud enough for Mira to hear he was doing so, before he spoke, "Tell me, why does one such as you seem to give off the smell of brimstone?" It was a smell that was hard to mistake, sulphur, but why did she smell like it? Terado could sense an aura around the girl, one which he had never really sensed. It seemed....similar to something, he couldn't place it just yet.

Terado was gaining and old feeling again, one he hadn't felt since he'd last sealed a totem spirit. Perhaps feeling was the wrong word, more of an instinct due to his current situational awareness.

He leaned down over the table, lifting the peak of his cap a bit, "What's your name, Firecracker?"

"I said try. I'm not a masochist. I just like a good scrap." Mira smiled "I use a practice scythe because I have a spirit weapon scythe. No sense in have a practice weapon that's nothing like your good weapon. And I get the feeling that even here, a real bladed weapon wouldn't be taken well."

It seemed that Terado smelled brimstone on her. She knew why, brimstone, paired with fire, is a rather well known feature of Hell. Still, she keeps her composure. Mira is a master of lying, understandable since her father was the Prince of Lies.

"Dang it! I swore I got that smell off me, I took like three baths and a shower just to get it off!" she thought.

No matter, it wasn't like sulfur was exclusive to Hell, she thought up a lie in a split second.

"I grew up in a rather desolate place, and it had an active volcano nearby. In some parts of it, you couldn't walk around without getting the smell on you." she lied.

It seemed that the boy wanted her name "My name's Mira Morningstar." she mentioned.

Mira wasn't the type of being to attack automatically, but it was clear that whoever it was had some power, that seemed to be trying to dampen her naturally aggressive nature.

Terado listened carefully to how the girl spoke. Certain key words sticking out such as, Spirit. Scythe. Desolate. Volcano. These words were ringing in Terado's ears and the smell was starting to grow thick in his nostrils the longer he stayed around Mira. He stood up to his full height, looking down at the girl. "Mira Morningstar? Hmm....Never heard of you. However, I've smelt people like you before."

Terado's nails grew ever so slightly, just enough to be sharp enough to break the flesh should enough pressuer be applied. He continued to speak, only now he was slicing a very thin line along each of his forearms as he spoke, "I am by no means a demon hunter, but the smell you have around you unmistakable. Even if a human lived around a volcano, that smell doesn't cling to you forever, let alone more then a few months maxiumum."

The giant man's pupil's became predatory as he began smearing the blood from the open wounds around his forearms and uttering the chants for Blood Spattered Shield and Bloodied Razor Edge under his breath in Alnu. The moment he was done, he slammed the table splintering it, "I don't detest demons, so long as they stay put where they belong and you, well you're just way off home territory aren't you?"

Terado's eyes had a fire inside them, burning with old battles of having to seal away malicious Totem spirits who had run rampant around the Earth. A young girl disabling an antire group of burly men like this? For no real reason aside from wanting a fight? She was just like those Totems.

He would seal her just like he did to them.

Mira looked shocked, she hadn't expected to be caught. She'd taken every step to avoid being caught. She just should have gone to New York City or something, forged a few documents, and voila, she was home free.

"You'd fight with all these people around? Ever hear of the phrase 'collateral damage' or 'somebody innocent could get hurt'?" she tells him under her breath "I don't figure you'll listen to who I am and my story. And I bet you probably expect this to be some gambit or something for me to hit'cha when your guard's down, but if you want to fight me, then do you really want to do it here?"

Mira quit suppressing her demonic aura to force something to happen, granted, nothing much would be sensed by people without people without some sort of supernatural power. Her aura was strong, yes, even suggesting someone with an extremely high position so far bloodline goes... though with a lack of anything actually evil in her aura.

"I'm not sure how skilled you are at aura reading, but this should tell you a few things regardless. Do you still want to fight? At the very least, do you still want to fight here?" she asked him under her breath.

Mira loved to fight, true, but she didn't want to get in a death fight with someone who probably had good intentions. She was here because fights were known to start, and it was accepted.

Terado scoffed, "You're one to talk about collateral damage and injuring someone. You come to a place like this, screaming for a fight and when one actually presents itself, you suddenly get concerned for your surroundings?" The Sentinel found it odd for a demon to be concerned about the well-being of mortals. Quite strange. Still, he didn't mind if a demon was courteous enough to want to move the engagement elsewhere.

Terado was slowly sensing her aura eminating from her. He could smell it now. The thick black stench of the underdark and the pungent aftertaste that came with it. It was familiar to him, although he was grateful he didn't have to smell it frequently. There was something strange about this aura itself, powerful, but he couldn't quite place all of its characteristics. A dark grey as oppossed to black? That was the best way Terado could explain it to himself.

"If your story is good enough I might lend you an ear, as for now, get walking before I throw you through the wall to get you outside." he snarled quietly so that only those within earshot, namely Mira, would be able to hear. He made certain to let his own aura go undetected. He wasn't about to unleash his own ferrocity in here like Mira had. He'd save that for when he had to.

"Look, fights break out in this place. Heck, they brought the fight to me. I like fighting for fun. Killing good people... not so much." Mira told the lycan.

Mira sighs, she's a bit anxious. She walks outside, and tries to move the fight a considerable distance. She also didn't want word to break out. She left the pay on the table before hand, so not to cause any (extra) trouble.

Once they get outside, she starts explaining. "Now, let me explain. I am Mira Morningstar, daughter and backstabber of Lucifer Morningstar, yes that one, and former horsewoman of death of the apocalypse. Well... that's probably not the best way to start that, but bear with me. I'm actually the reason why everyone here isn't up to their neck in Armageddon right now." she starts "You see, a couple years before my birth... which was only like in the teens years ago actually, Dad got tired of waiting for Armageddon, so he and God made a bet. He could do it early... unless God could tempt one of his horsemen of the apocalypse into not doing so. Long story short, I showed a shred of honor, kinda smashed the little stone that tethered me and the others to this plane of existence... and ended up getting resurrected by god. Granted, at a fraction of my previous strength. On the plus side, I'm sort a 'semi ascended demon', about on the spiritual purity of your typical human. Now, 'going back to whence I came' isn't such a good idea... I doubt Dad is very happy with me, I already have trouble sleeping at night, what with worrying about some literal assassin from hell trying to kill me. And of course, it gets more difficult when you consider the 'smite first, ask questions later' approach to dealing with demons."

Terado listened to Mira's story and it was a rather interesting one for sure. However there was one thought that he had learned about Hyakuji while he had been here, even if Terado hadn't been around as long as people like Lavender. "One thing that you might be missing is that, you're not the one preventing apocolypse. I've heard stories about the people in this town taking on an ancient Egyptian God called Zorc. With that in mind, this leads me to believe you're just another demon inviting an unwanted threat."

Terado's arms were still covered with his magically enchanted blood, having the hardness and sharp edge of bladed steel. Unless he saw something within the girl that made him change his mind, he was going to have to deal with her. If what she said was true, then he had to nip what could be a potential problem in the bud. When one was affiliated with Armageddon, it was never a good thing.

It was then, that for the first time, Mira would feel Terado's magical aura. Almost like needles were prickling her skin she'd feel it and then slowly she'd start to see it as it crept out from the caves of Terado's inner spirit. It was simply just something feral, a blood red aura that could only be described as a never ending series of fangs and claws with Terado at the center of it.

"I may not be a demon hunter, but once I'm through, you'll wish I was." Terado let out a roared and charged towards Mira, his hands flat and aiming to stab the girl with hands that had the power of blades.

Just FYI, he's not transformed yet, Terado still 100% human looking ^^

"Great, I thought something like this would have happened." she thought. She wasn't sure on how to reconcile those facts. Maybe there were different factions all trying to end the world. But now wasn't a time to mull over cross-religious theology.

It looks like Mira had only one choice. Beat the crud out of him... then spare him.

"Grah... Should have hid in San Francisco." she muttered under her breath.

Her scythe quickly appears in her hands, and she shifted to her true form. His aura was strong, but she had little choice but to face him... it seemed rather... feral at any rate.

Spoiler: click to toggle

"Don't accuse me of not trying to reason with you!" she shouted.

She then swings the oversized scythe at him. She needed to force him away just long enough so she could summon her horse and not be vulnerable.

'There you are." said Terado under his breath as Mira revealed her true form. He wasn't phased as she summoned her scythe and as such did not let up his charge. One hand raised itself up, aiming for the flat part of the scythe from below and knocking it upwards as Mira swung it towards Terado, reangling it and making it soar over his head, while Terado slashed out with a what seemed to be a karate chop movement.

He had no sharp claws to speak of in his human form, but at this range, even if his hand touched Mira a little, she'd see that she was being cut. After all, even demons bled. They were just far better at taking a hit. "I'll follow my own reasoning! Its the only thing I've found to be 100% true!" shouted th Sentinel.

He had to keep one thing in mind when dealing with her. Her weapon, her powers she'd yet to show and the environment. The scythe was an easy weapon to counter, so long as you managed to get inside a certain range. Either that, or stay outside of the range of the scythe entirely.

Mira blocked Terado's attack with the strange gauntlet she was wearing. They weren't supernatural, beyond modest self-repair capabilities that wouldn't really aid her in a fight, but they weren't made of an earthly material, and were quite tough. However, they were damaged by the blow.

"100%!? You can't be always right! And you've got me all wrong!" she shouted.

She backed up a bit, and delivered a swing to keep him away for just a moment rather than outright hit him... hopefully enough time for her to summon her horse.

"I've lived countless lifetimes and had plenty of time to contemplate through all of them! If you want the right to say I'm wrong, you gotta prove it to me like everyone else!" shouted Terado in reply to Mira. Her gauntlet at taken the brunt of his attack, but it wouldn't keep the Sentinel from achieving his objective. He dodged her attack easily, but judging from that it may have been a feint. What was this girl planning?

Terado didn't like transforming where people could see it. He generally liked to keep people unaware of his feral-self. However, he couldn't and wasn't about to let up his assualt. He began to chant quickly in Alnu, "ʇəlqoƃ pəʞɔɐɹɔ əɥʇ ɯoɹɟ ɥʇɹoɟ llıds 'ʍolɟɹəʌo puɐ əƃɐʇuıʌ ɹɐılıɯɐɟ ɯoolq." before slicing each on of his palms open. He did not charge Mira like his had before, but he moved towards her, thrusting his hands forward and firing what could only be described as a large, double buckshot of blood towards her.

His blood kept on flowing from his hands, pouring out far more than it should from such a wound. Terado however continued to spray it towards both Mira and their surroundings, causing blood splattered lines to form on the ground and walls.

"Perfect." she thought, she had enough time to summon her horse now. Mira instantly appeared slightly higher in the air, as her skeletal horse appeared under her and let out a bone chilling noise.

"You never even gave me a chance beyond an explanation! I was honest... and you went for my throat! " she shouted.

It was clear that he used blood magic. Either that, or the guy she was fighting was an emo among emos. Some of the blood invariably hit the horse's leg, though Mira herself stayed clean. She started riding towards Terado, upping her speed as she approached him, before swinger her scythe.
