Good thing it's sunny for today, such a nice weather to have a stroll around the amusement park. Flying past the giant of a mechanical contraptions like the Ferris wheel and the roller coaster, a blue and black robotic bat-camera hybrid beeped and squeaked as it took pictures after pictures of the crowded surroundings of the amusement park, flying high and low, weaving through the heads and legs of people around, randomly taking pictures as was instructed by its owner.

After a few more minutes of picture taking the Bat Shot V2 received a signal from its owner to return, snapping one last picture of a man playing a dart game with an audible beep before taking off to the sky, going in a straight path towards a single spot in the whole amusement park where a boy with jet black hair in his usual black sweater and cargo pants was sitting on a bench drinking from a cup of hot chocolate. The boy, named Seth Ryouga, noticed the Bat Shot squeaking as it flew towards him, raised his hand and snagged it from midair, the mechanical bat-camera hybrid transforming back to a camera. Did it get anything? Inquired the voice of the metavirus in his head, as Seth turned the Bat Shot around, flipping through the digitally taken pictures for something... incriminating.

"No... nothing," The boy said in disappointment, setting the camera to his side as he gave a sigh. "Apparently the culprit isn't one to walk around in the open, or we got our leads wrong..." Well duh, if the culprit had been walking around in the open he'd be caught immediately. As of late there had been a distressing amount of accidents happening at the amusement park that most of them involved broken pieces of machinery, malfunctions with the contraptions, and the sort of stuff that had been bringing great loss for the owner of the amusement park. Though strangely enough none of these 'accidents' seemed... well, like an accident. It was as though someone had been purposely trying to wreck the whole area.

He probably was wrong for taking this case instead of leaving it for Jameson, but hey, why not. He's one of the WDA as well.

Holland was running through the park hurriedly her bag sling over her shoulder. She had learned about Doki-Doki land prior to her arrival, and had actually been here several times before out of boredom. She still had her gloves on because they were the only things that prevented her mind from entering into technology.

But Holland had scored great today. She happened to get into the motherboard today. It wasn't easy that's for sure. But some slight of hand and some quick reflexes lead her to getting in.

Holland continued running through the masses of people trying to make her way to the exit. Until she made one mistake to take a look back to make sure no one was following. At this point, she ran smack dab into a man with a black sweater and matching hair. Her bag tumbled off her shoulder and laid upon the ground open. She sat up and looked at her skinned arm and then realized her bag wasn't on her anymore.

"Oh, please forgive me for running into you!" she said hurriedly and then quickly looked around for her bag.

Crud dammit, that's the fourth time someone ran into us today! WATCH WHERE YOU'RE GOING DAMMIT!!! No, it's pointless to yell in his head, because no one would be able to hear it except for Seth himself. Luckily for her he does not hold the same kind of hostile sentiment as the metavirus in his head. Of course, things would have been a lot less awkward if the hot chocolate hadn't flew on top of his head, dousing him with the thick scalding hot liquid of chocolatey goodness. "...Ow..." The boy muttered in quiet agony, as he wiped the mess off his eyes, before bothering to take note on whoever, or whatever, crashed into him.

"Uh... alright, get up first. I'll think of your punishment later..." No idea whether he was kidding or not, but at least he had enough tact to help her up to her feet as he held out his hand for her. "But for now though, you alright?" The boy said, picking up a bag he supposed was hers, noting the ridiculous amount of electronics and contraptions stuffed in it. "...Right, I don't mind if you're collecting junks, but if you're transporting something as fragile as these, you may want to watch where you're going. Not that it matters anyway, these are just trashes..." He said, handing the sling bag back to her, rather not be asking why a girl would be wandering around an amusement park carrying a sling bag full of junks. Yersh, don't worry. He knows one other person who collects trashes and stuff and turns them to practical inventions and the likes. He seriously wished Jen would stay away from using his desk as her test subject though...

Holland was hesitant to take his hand through his comment but she took it and stood up. She quickly removed her hand from his and her face flourished a bright red. He offered her her bag and she almost had a mild panic in her head but she tried to stay calm and collected while accepting it back. Yeah, good luck with that.

"Oh...umm...thank you. Haa...um yeah." she said turning an even brighter shade of red. "You...just...never know what good you might find of stuff just...laying around...yeah that's it." At this point she was noticing the hot chocolate all over his hair and it was dripping over his coat.

"Oh I'm so sorry about your hot chocolate...please....take this..."and she offered up a small cloth from a front pocket in her bag. She generally used to to open door nobs and to open things if she didn't have her gloves on but...a rag is a small thing to sacrifice for not being discovered.

"Na, don't worry about it," The boy said, not even bothering to take the little piece of cloth and instead opted to just use his sleeves, wiping off the excess liquid and only making him look even messier than before, all the while taking a moment to study the girl in front of him. Reserved, not one of many words, probably doesn't socialize much. Perhaps something to do with-

Boom.

Train of thoughts interrupted, as a particularly loud yet distant groan of machinery could be heard from their spot. It's impossible for it not to catch the attention of the people around. If anyone bothered to look, somewhere in the distance the staple of the amusement park, the gigantic Ferris wheel, came to a grinding stop from its revolution, eliciting gasp and panicked screams from the occupants of the carriages. Though other than the Ferris wheel being stopped well outside of its predetermined timing, nothing seemed to be out of order. "Dammit, again?" The boy muttered in frustration, taking out his Bat Shot from out of nowhere. Honestly, that's the third time it has happened this week, something was DEFINITELY wrong.

"I'm pretty sure you knew about this already, but as of late the whole amusement park has been having a ridiculous amount of breakdown in such a short time span," He said absent-mindedly to the girl without so much of a reason, tossing the Bat Shot into the air where it transformed to a robotic bat before flying off with a squeak towards the Ferris wheel, no doubt hoping to find... at least something! "Everything seemed accidental, but at this point it's too obvious that someone's behind this... for whatever reason," He continued, watching the Bat Shot disappear to nothing more than a black dot in the sky. ...Or was it? He squinted off to the distance, noticing the speck of darkness that was the Bat Shot, initially getting smaller to his eyes, was now getting larger... wait, why is it coming back now--"UWAH!"

Unexpectedly the mechanical bat swooped down towards him at high speed with a loud screech, barely smacking him in the face as he quickly ducked out of the way. "What the hell...?" He turned around, only to find the Bat Shot already flying down towards him, this time hitting him squarely in the head. "OW!" The boy stumbled back, clutching his sore nose as the Bat Shot made a wide swerve in mid-air, turning its attention back to its owner, ready to assault him yet again like a hungry predator. "Why you little..."

In the end it's just a camera shaped like a bat, flies like a bat and screeches like a bat. This time before it could even get close to his face the boy had already snagged it from midair, holding it tight in one hand to prevent it from flying away yet again as it struggled and squirmed violently in his hand. Really, he could just crush it right here, right now, but it's a Christmas present from Jameson and Monty! D: "Aaah...! what's wrong with this little monster...?!" He muttered in annoyance, turning it around in his hand while keeping a firm grip on the trashing mechanical bat. "V, can't you fix this? You're good at everything..."

I can, but I would have to stop it from moving first. And the only way to do it is to crush it.

"No way," D:

"Oh!" Holland gasped when the bat thing smacked him square in the face. "Are you ok?" She watched him struggled with the mechanical bat thing until she couldn't take it any longer. She ungloved her hands grabbed the zapper than hung as a necklace around her neck. She timed it for one minute and then grabbed the bat from him.

Holland stood completely still, as if frozen, holding onto the bat. But, as she connected to the bat she knew she only had a limited amount of time before her buzzer would kick her out. Holland focused on what was around her at this point. Standard technology. Gears and memory. Lots of wires and connectivity. "This is a camera!" she said to herself. She thought quickly and on her feet. Only about 45 seconds left. She found the memory function of the camera. "I don't know what's on here...but I bet there's something of me if it's been around him." at which she completely erased the memory from the camera.

Ok...20 seconds. Holland quickly found the nearest circuitry and shorted it out with her mind. Luckily, it was only to the wings. An easy repair for someone that knew what they were doing and it wasn't ruined.

BUZZZZZZZZ. Holland was shocked by her zapper right at her heart. And she finished just in the nick of time. Holland fell back from the shock because she was usually sitting down while she did her "work". She shook lightly and stood up quickly..."It's um....ahhh....stopped. But...yeah..." she said just as some security guards of the park ran by screaming that the mother board had been tampered with. "I should really be going before everything gets out of hand."

All the while as she worked he stood there looking at her with curiosity, supposing she had been using her ability to immobilize the Bat Shot (whatever that ability is). Sure enough though, the moment she's done (though not in the most graceful of way) the Bat Shot was sitting on his palm, silent and motionless, just how an inanimate object is supposed to be. "Well... not sure whether I should be happy about this or not, but... thanks," What? She pretty much broke his camera.

"Yea, you really should go... who knows what else might happen," Seth agreed with her in a bit of a worried tone, shooing her away, seemingly keen to keep people away from the amusement park for the moment. So far there hasn't been anything terrible happening as of yet, most of them simply being cases of malfunctions and messed up schedules, but he really shouldn't be taking any chances. "Just be careful on your way out, alright?" The boy said, giving her a small wave as he turned around towards the Ferris wheel, intending to continue the investigation until sundown.

But before he could even take another step forward, his body started to move by itself, making a 180 degrees turn on the spot, striding towards the girl from earlier. W-whoa, V! What's up now?! It was the usual symptom whenever the metavirus suddenly started taking control of his body without his consent, and even after it had happened so many times before he still couldn't get used to the feeling of his body being hijacked without a moment's notice. Well, whatever the case, what the metavirus intended to do next was something Seth himself wouldn't have approved of, as he grabbed the girl by her arm, stopping her from going anywhere. O-oi, V! What are you doing?!

"You're the culprit, aren't you?" The metavirus said through the mouth of his host, a stern looking expression on his face, vice grip on the culprit preventing her from simply yanking herself away from custody. And as for the less sharp Seth, he could only mutter the word Eh?

No, V is not gonna go through the trouble of explaining how he came to that kind of conclusion.

Holland had left the man that had previously stood before her and began making her way to the nearest exit while the security guards were preoccupied. That was until her hand was snatched from beside her. She turned around and cringed lightly. Normally, she would have been able to prevent someone from grabbing her, but her mind wasn't in the right place...

"You're the culprit, aren't you?"

The words rang throughout her head. She was speechless. Her mouth tried to form words but nothing came out and then she snapped out of her crazy daze. She pulled her hand away and rubbed her wrist lightly. "I-I don't know what you're talking about. The culprit of what? I have somewhere...somewhere to be. I-I'm meeting someone in thirty minutes across town." she said lying.

"Now if you don't mind..." she said, turning back to return making her way to the exit.

Oh no you don't. Even before she could take another step forward a bright flash of light erupted right in front of her. If she was unlucky it would take a while to blink it away before she could see again. When the light had dissipated though she would find her way to be blocked by a silver-haired girl in green and white dress with a large green bow on her head, reading this month's issue of Shonen Jump, seemingly at ease considering that she had just been summoned from her room at Yuki dormitory to the amusement park. "What is it now?" The girl said nonchalantly, quickly flipping through the pages of the magazine before she ran out of interest, tossing it aside and was now focusing on the girl in front of her. "...Dammit, another girl? You really need to stop collecting them..."

Despite the somewhat questionable comment she was pretty sure this isn't your ordinary boy meets girl situation. The half-phantom, having a general idea of what's going on at the moment thanks to a little briefing Seth gave her before he went out for his investigation, glanced between the girl and Seth, attempting to pick up on the situation with her...nose. As usual.

So, if she's not wrong, this girl was suspected to be the one who was behind all this inconveniences around the amusement park. At least, it seemed like it for Seth. "So you're telling me you got the culprit..." The half-phantom said, sighing as she uncrossed her arm, placing her hand on her waist akin to a swordsman stance.

"What if I tell you... there's someone else with a worse scent than she has lurking around?" The half-phantom could sense it, the feeling of guilt and apprehension coming from the girl, so it wouldn't be surprising to think that she's the one behind the trouble that has been brewing around the amusement park. But she's not the only one the half-phantom could pick up. There's someone... someone else, with a more malicious mind.

The REAL culprit.

There was yet another bright explosion of light coming from the half-phantom, engulfing the whole scene in a blinding flash akin to that of a flashbang. At the same time came a loud noise that sounded as though a blade had just cleaved cleanly through metal at very high speed, the sound of a heavy thud as though something had just fell to the ground, and the sound of hurried footsteps. When the bright flash of light had dissipated, all the three would be able to see was Youma, standing there with her massive sword Roukanken resting on her shoulder, an unidentifiable mutilated and heavily chopped machinery or electronic (it was probably a vending machine just moments ago) sparking and fizzling with smokes coming out of it, and from a distance, they would be able to see a man running away before... turning into a large spark of electricity and disappeared into a vending machine?

Does that explain everything?
