Mira didn't keep a purse on her. In the 'butch to girly girl' spectrum, Mira was definitely somewhere on the butch side. She did, however, keep a wallet on her, for her money and stuff. However, she was checking how much money she had when... yoink! A man trips Mira and snatches her wallet from her. Flustered with both anger and embarrassment, Mira hops up and decides to retrieve her stuff the only reasonable way... by chasing down the guy and threatening him with a scythe. The man was running, but didn't expect the fairly fleet of foot young girl to start chasing. Mira left her intentions clear, as she shouts "GIVE MY MONEY BACK YOU THEIF!" repeatedly She summons her scythe to try to scare him into giving her stuff back, but the man's face just turns back and he sprints even faster, forcing Mira to give chase. She keeps shouting for the man to return her money, but he keeps running... and so does she. It's clear that Mira's 'harbinger of the end' training contained at least a little cardio. |

NICE DRIVE!

"Where the hell do ya think you're going?" a male's voice shouted out angrily as Akira Fudo stepped forward and socked the thief hard square in the face stopping his advance and most likely either knocking him back or flat on his back. Akira had been out for his usual nightly activity of keeping vigil for any demons in pursuit of him or merely preying on the city. However, thus far, Hyakuji had been rather quiet activity-wise.![]() Turning the corner ahead he had sighted the chase coming towards him and heard the girl cry out. Realizing some scumbag had swiped something from a young girl was more than enough to set him off and force Akira to get involved using the full ability of his demonic strength to punch the thief at full force. However, before he could further taunt the scum he noticed the girl that had been giving pursuit was actually carrying a rather large scythe in her grasp. "Woah wait, holy hell, is that a real scythe!?" Akira questioned in disbelief. Though he came to Hyakuji fully well knowing the type of place it was he was still far too new to be adjusted to such sights as commonplace. However, more shocking than Akira Fudo's reaction would be what Mira could sense about this dark mysterious newcomer. Though he looked like the average teenager, Mira could clearly sense that the body before her was that of a demon; and not just any demon. A very powerful one well known among all other demons. Though he had never before taken up a human form or possessed some body for activity in the human world, there could be no doubt in Mira about the presence she sensed. It was Amon, The Lord of War. |

As she chased the man into the alley, an overwhelming presense filled the air. "Crap... him." she thought. Apparently, though Amon wasn't known to go into the human world before, at least in concealed form, he wasn't very subtle, where Mira had practically burned it into her own subconscious to keep her own demonic presence concealed to protect herself. She could only assume that the only reason why 'Amon' would be in Hyakuji would be to hunt her down, 'kill' her, then perform a banishing spell or ritual. After all, she knew that after her actions, there would be a lot of reputation of hell to be gained for that sort of thing. So why didn't he attack. Maybe Amon was just not any good at concealing his presence or something. Maybe it was a trap. Mira would play along, and play dumb. She had little choice. After all, Mira herself wasn't even a fraction at her former 'cause the end of the world' level of power. She could only hope 'Amon' was terrible at remembering pictures. Not like there was a shortage of pictures in Hell of Mira, in either of her forms. After all, she had previously been royalty so far as Hell was concerned. "Oh, thanks." Mira told Akira. "Yeah, it's my spirit weapon. I call it 'Ash Edge'." she mentioned. Was 'Amon' just playing dumb? She took her wallet, and slipped it back in her pocket. Her scythe was still out, but she holding it in a non-threatening manner. "I'm Mira." she introduced herself. |

NICE DRIVE!

"Ah nice," Akira answered at Mira's explanation as he rubbed the back of his head a little embarrassingly, "Sorry, I'm still new to Hyakuji... so I haven't quite gotten used to it yet." Smirking a confident grin, Akira pulled back his right leg and kicked the thief hard in the stomach forcing him for cough and hack in pain; it certainly seemed like something ruthless the Lord of War might do were he in a human form. Although, in truth, Akira simply despised shady people like this guy. "Akira Fudo," he answered back giving his own name as he nodded to her and turned around as if starting to walk aways, "Anyways, I wouldn't worry about that guy any more. That scum should be out for awhile~ Though with a weapon like that you probably didn't need my help. Couldn't help myself though when I saw what was going on..." Laughing a little, Akira began to head back off in the other direction. Was this truly Amon? Even with Mira masking her presence one would imagine that the Lord of War would suspect something. Yet here he was, now, with his back turned towards Mira with no weapons and entirely open and defenseless. Or was it some kind of veiled taunt? Not knowing what had happened between Amon and Akira Fudo, Mira would have no way of truly understanding what had happened. |

Well the guy seemed ruthless enough to fit the bill. But she's amazed the even still, she hasn't been caught. Either she was really good at hiding her presence, it was his weak point, or both. Or none of the above. In other words, she wasn't sure why, she had a logical reason. It seems like half the people she ran into seemed nominally friendly, but might have a conviction or duty to kill her significantly above the average joe if they found out the truth. At any rate, Mira lets go of her scythe, and it vanishes into thin air. She watched her back, moving the other way. "Forget about dodging a bullet... I think I just dodged an anti-tank shell there." she thought in her head. |
