The rain poured on relentlessly as the night sky covered the city of Hyakuji. A sense of gloom filled the air as the night continued on. Majority of the people were asleep at this late hour and all seemed to be in order in Hyakuji City. However, in downtown Hyakuji, a familiar face unknowingly made his return into the city, but not exactly the way he intended. A young boy ran throughout the deserted streets and took every detour in order to lose the annoyances on his tail. "Tch...Damn it...These guys just don't give up do they?" The black haired youth muttered angrily as he turned the corner in an attempt to escape his pursuers. He panted heavily as he kept his senses on full alert, ready to deal with any unwelcome surprises that he may stumble on. As he ran, his mind flashed back to the time where he lost it everything that mattered to him. He lost his job, he lost his friends and he even lost his revered alchemy. "I swear I'll get back my alchemy..." Ayato said with gritted teeth as he spotted one of his pursuers jump out from an alley in front of him and block his path. The man had a deranged look in his eye, and he had an unnervingly disturbing grin plastered on his face. He let out a maniacal laugh as Ayato stopped in his tracks, watching the man's movements like a hawk. "HYAHYAHYAHYA!!! FINALLY GOT YOU!" The man said as he primed a weapon on his arm. The weapon in question was one that the ex-alchemist knew very well. In fact, he owned one of them, not that the man knew about it. It was a mechanical gauntlet outfitted with a large pointed stake, a portable pile bunker. It wasn't exactly the most common of tool of combat, but the organization after Ayato made it their weapon of choice, as such, he knew very well how to deal with this guy. "Uhuh...Why not run your mouth when you've actually, you know...Got me?" Ayato taunted as he smirked at the man. Thankfully this man took the bait and immediately threw a fit. "WHAT THE HELL DID YOU SAY YOU LITTLE SH*T!?!?" "I think you know very well what I said. Unless you're deaf as well." Ayato replied mockingly as he smiled slyly. "Heh...This guy is way too easy..." He thought to himself as he watched the man slowly get more and more irritated with what he said. "I guess one more will do...Then I'll end this little farce..." He continued on in his mind as he noticed the man getting ready to start the fight. "Are you sure you know how to use that thing? I mean c'mon, I doubt you could land a single hit on me! I don't know how much they're paying you but whatever it is, it's definitely not enough!" He exclaimed as he readied his footing, shifting his weight to the side slightly. "THAT’S IT! YOU'RE A DEAD SH*T NOW!" The man roared in rage as he charged towards Ayato, his fist ready to throw a punch and fire the lethal stake. "Perfect...Just dodge to the side..." Ayato thought to himself as his body instinctively followed suit, shifting to the side, dodging the punch as he placed his hand on his wristwatch and pressed a button on the side. As he did so, his watch began to light up and a mechanical voice spoke up. "SYSTEMS ACTIVATED...BUNKER READY." As soon as his pursuer heard the voice come out from his device, his eyes widened when he realized what Ayato had just done. He glanced down at Ayato's right arm, and in place of his wristwatch, a mechanical gauntlet took its place, its crimson paint glistening under the moonlight. His eyes then turned to Ayato’s face, which had a smile on it that chilled the man to his very core. As far as he was concerned, he was a dead man at this point, and he mentally braced himself for death. "MODE CHANGE. MODE ZWEI ACTIVATED." "Wha...?" The man wondered to himself as he heard those words coming from Ayato’s pile bunker. The sound of the mechanism inside of the crimson gauntlet filled the air and Ayato began to swing the protruded end of the stake like a tonfa. "Don't worry. I won't kill you...This time..." Ayato said coldly as he struck the man hard on the temple with the cold metal bar, knocking him out cold. As soon as the man dropped to the ground, Ayato swung around his makeshift tonfa once more before switching it back to its regular bunker mode. "MODE CHANGE. MODE EINS ACTIVATED." "Now that's taken care of...I'd better get a move on before they catch up..." He thought to himself as he began running off again, once again not noticing where he was. He kept on running, focused on getting someplace safe. His mind slowly, but surely starting to lose consciousness. He had been on the run for days, and even considering his remarkable stamina, even Ayato had his limits. His vision slowly began to blur, his breathing getting heavier and heavier. "Ha...Ha...Damn it...I can't stop...Here..." He muttered under his breath as he struggled to keep moving through the alley he was in. In the distance, he could make out the silhouette of a person, but thanks to the toll fatigue has taken on his body, he couldn't recognize that it was someone he knew from his time in Hyakuji. Thanks to this, he instinctively moved to strike the said person, throwing a punch and activating his bunker. "BUNKER FIRE" |

It was... lucky to say the least, that it was definitely someone Ayato knew. Had it been anyone else he might have killed an innocent person. That's never a good page in anyone's book, mistakenly murdering an innocent person while being on the run from whoever. But for Seth... well. It's really hard to kill the one Made of Iron. His hand shook slightly, gripping tightly on the spike that nearly jammed itself in his cranium, staring at the culprit with eyes wide in surprise. And considering his lack of combat stance, he was so not prepared to have someone drive a giant needle through his head. "What in the name of..." Coming to his senses he gripped the spike hard and tossed it along with its owner back down the alley, tossing away his umbrella as he took a defensive stance. "Alright you... I don't know who you are, but you picked the wrong time to make a mess in Hyakuji! Identify yourself!" |

"That voice...This Strength..." Ayato thought to himself as he struggled slightly to free the stake from the boy's steel grip. Unfortunately, he wouldn't be able to do so as he was promptly thrown backwards a considerable distance. His battered body skidded across the floor a few feet before he quickly regained his composure. "Alright you... I don't know who you are, but you picked the wrong time to make a mess in Hyakuji! Identify yourself!" "Looks like I finally made it back..." Ayato said softly as he quickly processed the boy's words. "It's been a while kid..." Ayato said with a smirk on his face. "Seems like you've grown up while I was gone." The black haired youth said as he dusted off his clothing. He stood there for a moment as the rain continued on pouring heavily on both the two boys. "Looks like hanging out with Willicott did a bunch of good on you." Ayato said as he slowly walked towards Seth, coming out from the darkness of the alley into the brightly lit street. "Remember me?" Ayato inquired as he transformed his bunker into its wristwatch state. "No? Maybe this will give you a hint." He continued on before putting out his arm and performing the signature finger snap he used to do whenever he performed his flame alchemy. *SNAP* Edited by Rikuo, Jan 11 2012, 05:59 AM.

..."Are you an idiot?" He snapped suddenly in a stern voice, dropping down to get his umbrella before he catches a cold from the wetness. "Anyone can imitate that, I thought that brief moment in the WDA would have taught you something!" He really shouldn't be saying that when he's the one letting his guard down if he was still suspicious about the boy in front of him. But there was no way he could forget that voice, that lazy and confident expression on his face, and... mostly because V had reminded him who he is so he kind of cheated there a bit. "To clarify your honesty I'm asking the only thing the real Ayato would know; what did we do last year at the amusement park?" "But forget that... what the hell happened man?" He walked over to him urgently, noting his somewhat disheveled state, and the fact that he's out here without any shade from the rain meaning he was in a hurry, and he attacked someone without any consideration of who they might be... he could assume Ayato is now not right in the head but he calmed down after knowing it was Seth, so... "Is someone after you or something?" He said with a tone of concern, nudging him to follow him. They're going back to the WDA office. Or the school. Or... wherever, they just need to get somewhere safe. If he's not wrong, they're being watched... |

"To clarify your honesty I'm asking the only thing the real Ayato would know; what did we do last year at the amusement park?" "Amusement park?...Oh that..." Ayato wondered to himself as he quickly recalled the time where Seth brought him along to the amusement park in order to help a kid called Leo. However, before he could even open his mouth and answer his question, Seth began to talk again. "But forget that... what the hell happened man? Is someone after you or something?" Feeling Seth nudging his arm, Ayato quickly glanced behind him for any sight of his pursuers. They were safe, for now. For a moment there Ayato had let it slip past his mind that he was being chased by some rather dubious groups. "Well it's a long story. It'll have to wait till I lose the guys after me. Long story short, let's just say by some stroke of horrible luck, i've ended up on the run from some psycho organization for the past year." Ayato said hastily, getting ready to follow Seth wherever he was taking him... "Well well well...What do we have here? What a touching reunion!" Ayato's eyes widened as soon as he heard the voice coming from behind him. He quickly looked behind him to find that his pursuers had caught up with him. They were a pair of goons, much like the one he had knocked out shortly prior. The leader of the two sported a devilish grin on his face, while the other one glared at him, probably wanting revenge for his fellow goon. "Tch...Looks like we've got company kid..." Ayato said irritably as he clenched his fists before getting into a fighting stance, ready for a brawl. "Now now! Please calm yourself! You have something we want in that little brain of yours. None of us here want to harm you, just surrender yourself quietly, kukuku..." The lead goon said with false sincerity in his voice. "As if i'd go with you bastards quietly after what you people did to me!" Ayato roared angrily as he tried his hardest to keep himself from charging in alone. "Seth these guys wont give up as long as they can still walk...This is my battle, i'd rather not drag you into this mess, but I could use some help..." Ayato said with a small frown as he activated his bunker once more. Much like the man Ayato knocked out cold, the two goons also showed signs of surprise upon realizing what the boy had under his sleeve. However, their surprise was soon taken over with bloodlust, both of them pulling out their own bunkers. "SYSTEMS ACTIVATED...BUNKER READY." "I'll explain everything once we get out of this situation...So how bout it? Up for a small scrap kid?" |

Derh... so he had to return bringing back with him trouble. Whatever the hell happened tonight... "Frankly, I'm not ready for a fight tonight," He said, giving a sigh as he tossed away his umbrella yet again. "I have a dinner date I have to attend, but sadly you two ruined it by making me late, and now I'm wet from the rain and completely not presentable," He just said that for something to say, he never had any important appointment he needed to attend. Nay... he's just mad that his bro is being chased and harassed by a couple of thugs who doesn't know their place in Hyakuji. But he's not gonna say that out loud now is he? "I don't know who you guys are, or whatever damned organization you two are from... one thing's for sure, you're not getting out of this with just a couple of scratches," He said with a growl, holding a hand in front of Ayato, a signal to just let him deal with it, with everything. You just sit back and relax, you've been through much already. "There will be one mug of hot chocolate for you when we get back home. It's perfect during winter," He didn't bother to make a move though. Instead he simply raised both his hands and waved at the two goons to come at him. Two against one may not be fair, but... hey. Is it really gonna be a two against one? |

"I have a dinner date I have to attend, but sadly you two ruined it by making me late, and now I'm wet from the rain and completely not presentable." "Dinner date? At this hour? That's obviously a lie..." Ayato thought to himself as he let out a small chuckle inside his head. "Oh well...Guess I should just let the kid have his fun..." "I don't know who you guys are, or whatever damned organization you two are from... one thing's for sure, you're not getting out of this with just a couple of scratches. There will be one mug of hot chocolate for you when we get back home. It's perfect during winter." "Heh, well aren't you a bag of surprises?" Ayato said teasingly as he watched Seth's show of bravado. As Seth motioned for the two goons to come at him, they did so accordingly, sprinting towards the two boys. Ayato let out a smirk as he made a fast break towards the lead goon running towards him. "Like hell am I gonna stand here and watch!" The ex-alchemist exclaimed, performing a quick roundhouse kick to the man's side, sending the man crashing into the nearby wall and incapacitating him for a short moment. "The other one's yours kid! Show him what you've got!" Ayato shouted as the goon he was handling soon regained his senses and threw a punch at him. Not wasting any time, Ayato pushed the punch away using the side of his bunker, before delivering his own left jab into the man's gut, followed by a right straight into the man's face... As for the other goon (who shall now be referred to as goon#2), he paid no attention to Ayato, clearly provoked hard by Seth's taunt and as such, focused primarily on turning Seth into swiss cheese. Letting out a loud warcry, goon#2 threw a low blow towards Seth's family jewels as soon as he was in melee range and almost immediately after, the loud sound of the bunker firing filled the air... |

"Mattaku... are goons always so darn hotheaded...?" A sigh of exasperation came from his mouth as the goon rapidly approached him, his bunker at the ready to blast straight through his skull. Disturbingly enough Seth doesn't seem to take any precautionary measure to stop his attacker, instead looking as calm and as oblivious as ever. Dammit boy, get moving! "Why?" A sudden flash of bright white light erupted between Seth and his offender, lighting the whole area and blinding anyone staring directly at him for the moment. The goon wouldn't even come close to touching him as all of a sudden he would feel something crashing hard at his abdomen, tossing him back. "Dammit... calling me at this time of the night..." Came the irritated voice of a girl, in green pajama crouching in front of Seth. She got up, flicking her wrist and was obviously disgruntled at being summoned while she was asleep. "So? How many?" Youma asked without a hint of shock, fear or surprise on her face, raising a closed hand in front of her. "Just two," He said with a small smile as he walked away to retrieve his umbrella. "How long do I have?" "Thirty seconds?" "You're giving me way too much freebie," She said with an evil smirk. All of a sudden there was yet another bright flash of white light exploding from her closed hand. As the light dissipated, Hakurouken, her endeared sword, weapon of choice, still in its jet black sheath, was there in her hand. But no one was given any time to have a good look at it. Nay, no one had ever gotten a good look at her swords. Because the moment they set their eyes on it, Youma the half-phantom would have already gotten close to them, the sword itself already withdrawn from the sheath, ready to cleave them into two. That's what she's doing right now. Except... Seth was here, so she's limited to just cleaving the bunker apart. |

"What the f*ck!?" Ayato exclaimed in surprise as a bright light engulfed the area for a moment, causing him to stop what he was doing just long enough for the head goon to avoid the fist headed for his face. Realizing his error, Ayato snapped his focus back onto the fight. "Tch...Damn it Seth!" Ayato muttered irritably as he triggered his bunker's firing mechanism, causing the metal stake to quickly protrude in front of his fist. "Cartridge Load. Burst Set." "Time to finish this..." Ayato thought to himself as he mentally planned his method of attack. While his foe had knowledge on how to deal with a bunker attack, Ayato's bunker was special compared to theirs. Little did they know that he put in a few extra features into the device. To the thug, it might as well seemed like a glitch when he heard Ayato's weapon spout out phrases that made no sense to him whatsoever. "Ha! Are you sure you don't have a screw loose!?" The head goon said before letting out a demented laugh. "You're supposed to fire the bunker when you're making a strike! Not at anytime just like that!" He continued on as he succumbed to a brief fit of laughter. Ayato remained silent as he watched the thug laugh his pants off and by the time he had gotten over his laughing fit, the thug noticed a sly grin plastered on the former alchemist's face. "Had your fun? For your sake, I sure hope you have." Ayato said, not dropping his grin for a moment. "Big talk for someone who can't even use the pile bunker right!" The head thug said mockingly. "You know what? I bet you can't even land a hit on me with that thing!" He taunted, motioning for the black haired youth to come at him. "I'll take that bet..." Ayato said under his breath before breaking into a sprint, quickly closing the distance between the two of them. He threw a punch at the thug with the bunker in an attempt to spear him with the protruded stake. "Too easy!" The thug exclaimed as he stepped to the side to dodge the attack. However, Ayato wasn't done yet, and upon making certain that the goon had dodged his blow, he retracted the large stake, firing a cartridge at the same time. "BURST ACTIVATE" The sound of a gunshot filled the air as the stake almost instantly retracted, the blunt end of the stake hitting the thug square in the gut, sending him several meters away. This time, there was no getting up from that assault. "Well now that's done with...I wonder how Seth's faring." He thought to himself as he watched what was going on in Seth's end of the fight. ----------------------------------------------------------------------- Meanwhile... Goon#2 stared in shock and awe as he witnessed the exchange between Seth and Youma. Questions filled his mind on what exactly just happened in those few moments. And as we all know, most goons aren't exactly the brightest fellows around. As such, by the end of it, he was pretty much left with a mild headache. Giving up on trying to understand anything at the moment, Goon#2 quickly got to his feet and prepared to strike at Youma, who he supposed was the reason he got the wind knocked out of him. He blankly stared when Youma summoned her sheathed blade and not an ounce of fear could be found in his rather empty head. In fact, he was about to charge at her when suddenly... *BANG* A loud noise reverberated throughout the alley. Goon#2 turned to look where the sound came from. It was at this moment, he saw his boss being sent flying several meters into the air and getting knocked out cold. As one could probably guess, due to typical henchmen behavior, it finally hit him that he was way over his head at this point. Very much like a bad morning cartoon show, Goon#2 picked up tail and ran for his life, picking up his boss as he made his retreat. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Shortly Afterwards... "Well that was certainly very anti-climatic." Ayato piped up as he walked over to Seth and Youma. "Who's the chick?" Edited by Rikuo, Jan 11 2012, 12:35 PM.

"Just a friend and a freeloader," The boy said, not even once seemed to be paying deep attention to the fight just now, walking towards the two with the umbrella he had so unceremoniously thrown away earlier, moving it to shield Ayato and Youma from the rain. "And honestly, I'd rather not keep this up any longer than I'm supposed to," "No doubt," The girl gave a huge yawn, scratching her back as she began to walk away regardless of the rain. "I'm just... gonna head back home... get some sleep if you don't mind," She herself didn't seemed too perturbed by the unexpected event tonight, treating it more like an annoying bad dream than anything else. She also didn't seem to want to bother acknowledging Ayato's existence. Well, that's just how she is, forgive her if that offended you. "Oh no you don't," Before she could even get two steps away from the two boys she was yanked back by Seth, grabbing her collar, causing her to choke and splutter for a bit before spewing a fair bit amount of expletives. To which Seth ignored as he turned back to Ayato. Well, in any case... "I'm not sure if Jameson wanted to be disturbed this late at night... I just got back from the office, the paperwork were hell..." He shivered slightly, remembering the work they had just finished a few moments ago. not exactly the most enjoyable task of being a WDA employee. Paperwork are hell... "But yeah, why not come to my place? I'm going back to the dorm," "Peh... you're seriously way too nice for your own good..." |

"Just a friend and a freeloader." "Huh...Is that so?..." Ayato thought to himself as he continued to watch the interaction between Seth and Youma. It was...Amusing to say the least, watching how despite their personalities, Seth was still clearly the one in charge between the two of them. "What the hell did I miss while I was gone..." He continued to think to himself as he stopped himself from letting out a small laugh as he saw Seth grab Youma by the collar, garnering a rather humorous reaction from her. "I'm not sure if Jameson wanted to be disturbed this late at night... I just got back from the office, the paperwork were hell..." Ayato just nodded in agreement as he knew what it was like to deal with paperwork back during his time in the WDA. Back then they were still a rather new group, so as such the menial tasks such as paperwork never really dragged on to this hour. "I guess these guys have been busy over the past year.." He concluded in his head as he let out a small smile. As much as he hid it, he enjoyed his time in the WDA, and he was glad that they doing well, or so he thought at least. "But yeah, why not come to my place? I'm going back to the dorm," "Peh... you're seriously way too nice for your own good..." "Heh, she's right on that account." Ayato remarked in response to Youma's statement. As far as he remembered, Seth was never one to turn away from a friend in need, which at times ended up inconveniencing Ayato (much like the aforementioned amusement park episode). "But sure, i'll take you up on your offer. Lead the way kid." |

~~MYSTERIOUSLY THEY HAVE ARRIVED AT THEIR DESTINATION~~ Clack. Clack clack. Damn door... BAM!!! The door to the room 413 of Yuki Dormitory was kicked open with considerable force that broke it off its hinge. You know... the door opens outwards... The metavirus in his head muttered in exasperation, staring through his eyes at the door lying on the ground. "...I know that,"The boy said with a huff, walking into the room, picking the door up and fitting it back into the doorway as though nothing had happened. He had dropped Youma back at her room on the way here, and now he's here with Ayato in his own room. It's just as seedy looking as ever, despite his best effort to keep it clean. "Alright, first order of business, what was that all about?" |

"Wow kid...You certainly know how to make an entrance, that's for sure." Ayato remarked with a snicker as he watched Seth open the door via rather violent means. As he stepped into the room, Ayato made a mental note on its current state. While it wasn't exactly the most clean of rooms, during Ayato's last stay, he didn't really make much of an effort to keep his own room very clean either. If you had entered his room back then, it would be littered with papers everywhere and jars of various alchemic ingredients scattered all over the floor. Clearly, hygiene was the last thing on his mind the last time he was here. "Alright, first order of business, what was that all about?" "Hold on, just give me a sec..." Ayato said as he sat himself down on a nearby chair. After gathering a few moments to gather his thoughts, he began to speak. "As I said, i've been on the run this past year." Ayato said as he folded his arms. "But before that, I guess i'd better mention why I disappeared back then." He continued on as he let out a heavy sigh. It wasn't exactly the something he wanted to remember, but it was something he needed to tell in order to explain everything. "Well I going about my business gathering some materials on the outskirts of the city for my alchemic research..." *BEGIN FLASHBACK* "Tch, why the hell does this plant grow in such hard to find places!" Ayato grumbled to himself as he plucked the crimson red plant from the ground. "Well I guess I should consider myself lucky in the first place it grows near here." He thought to himself as he quickly placed the plant into a small zip-lock bag he took out from his pocket. "Well now that's over with, time to get back, Willicott's gonna kill me if I don't show up for work today..." He mused to himself as he pocketed the bag and began to walk back to the city. *SNAP* "Huh?..." Ayato thought to himself as he heard the sound of a twig snapping nearby. "I don't remember seeing anyone else nearby while I went here..." He recalled when an ominous feeling hit him. "Could it be the Ouroboros?...I was sure I covered my tracks completely...Then again, this is them we're talking about...I shouldn't be surprised..." He muttered softly to himself as he put on his pyrotex gloves, glancing left and right for any sign of activity. *Rustle* "Over there!" He exclaimed as he turned to face the direction the sound came from. After taking a quick moment to aim his shot, he proceeded snap his fingers, causing a giant ball of flame to engulf the spot he aimed at. *Rustle* "Over there too?..." He said under his breath, a scowl forming on his face as he raised his one arm in the direction of the rustling leaves. *Rustle* "Heh...You guys are making this way too easy for me..." He thought to himself, smiling inside as he raised his other hand, aiming for the source of the sound. With a smile, he snapped the fingers on both of his hands, causing two more waves of flame to spark and ravage the forestry nearby. "That should take care of that..." He said with a small sigh of relief. "Strange though...Most of the time they'd get me through more devious ways...They know about my flames and how to seal me off...Somethings not right here..." He wondered to himself as he stood there, waiting for the smoke to clear. "Sorry, but it's going to take a little more than that to deal with us" rang a man's voice from within the smoke. "Tch...You bastards still aren't dead yet?" The alchemist said with gritted teeth as he got into a combat stance. "Afraid not my boy..." Replied the man's voice with a joyful undertone. "By the way, if you think we're part of the Ouroboros or whatever sect you think we are, think again." The voice continued on. "They're nothing compared to us...Here, a souvenir from when we wiped them out from the face of the planet." The man said with glee as Ayato felt something land at his feet. "What the..." Ayato began to say before he quickly stopped mid-sentence at what he saw. It was the bloodied corpse of the leader of the Ouroboros. "It was rather easy to kill the lot of them. You'd think with all the alchemic knowledge at their disposal, they'd put up more of a fight." The man continued on as Ayato stood there, eyes widened in shock. "Well at least these guys went down fighting, unlike your Flamel friends. It's too bad your leader refused to tell us what we wanted to know before we ended his miserable life." "What!?...Old geezer..." Ayato muttered to himself as he slowly started to get filled with rage, clenching his fists. "Now the only one left is yourself, and apparently your oh-so-great leader passed on the knowledge of something we want, and you have that something." The man explained as the smoke cleared out, revealing a sharply dressed young man. His posture revealed nothing but sheer confidence from the man, from the way he stood to the way the smug grin wrapped around his face like a Cheshire cat. "Oh pardon my manners, I haven't introduced myself, my name is Gant, Robert Gant. Head of the Belkan Crusaders." Robert said as offered his hand to Ayato. "Now come Ayato, i'd appreciate it if you went with us quietly..." "Like hell I will!" Ayato roared with rage as he began sending out a torrent of fire towards Robert. "Oh...That just won't do..." Roberts voice range out from behind Ayato. "Sh*t!" Ayato cursed as he turned around to see the man right behind him. "How did-" And before he could even finish his thoughts, he felt a heavy blow to the back of his neck. His thoughts, his vision and hearing all swiftly blacked out afterwards... *END FLASHBACK* "So that's how I got abducted against my own will. I probably could have gotten myself out of that mess if I kept my cool instead, but what's done is done..." Ayato said with a heavy sigh as he leaned back on the chair he was on. "Before I continue any further, I believe you said something about hot chocolate during our little scrap a while ago? I'd like to take up your offer, all this talking has gotten me pretty parched." |

And despite him telling Ayato to tell him the full story, he barely paid any attention to a single word of it. "Ahah... yersh, that's interesting..." They boy pretty much lost interest halfway through, and was busy scratching Cho's (his pet white [formerly blue] cat) ears. He nearly fell asleep when Ayato reached the end of his story and was only brought back to the land of the living when hot chocolate was mentioned. "Oh thank goodness, it's over," He said somewhat bluntly, not even bothering to stifle his yawn as he got up to his feet, and headed to the kitchen. "Right... hot chocolate... two for me..." He returned from the kitchen with three mugs of hot chocolate, one extra for a mysterious person. "Well, you're still a student here, right? I think we all know where you're supposed to go next," He said with a grin as he set one of the mug on the table, walking over to the door holding another one in front of him as he sipped on the last one. "We have class tomorrow, and you're gonna have to explain to Hiro why you're late coming to class by a year," As though a cue for everything to end the door was once again kicked off the doorway, slamming flat on the ground as a groggy looking Youma shuffled into the room, absent-mindedly taking the mug from Seth, who seemed completely unperturbed by her uninformed visit, taking a gulp from the scalding hot chocolate before setting it on the table. She then proceeded to lie down and curl up in Seth's bed, faint breathing could be heard as she fell asleep almost immediately. "Get used to that," Seth said with a sigh of exasperation, picking the door up and fitting it back to the doorway. Well, I think this is like, a non-verbal declaration that Ayato is now Seth's roommate for the rest of his school life. |

"Ahah... yersh, that's interesting..." "Judging from that I probably lost him..." Ayato thought to himself as he watched Seth slowly get up and prepare the chocolate. "Well I suppose to sum things up, they kidnapped me, sealed off my alchemy and they want my brain for whatever sick plan they have." He said rather curtly as he stifled a small yawn himself. "Well, you're still a student here, right? I think we all know where you're supposed to go next. We have class tomorrow, and you're gonna have to explain to Hiro why you're late coming to class by a year." "Heh, he'll probably kick my ass for that." Ayato replied with a snark grin as he picked up the chocolate Seth placed on the table and slowly began to sip from it. Warmth filled his body as the sweet liquid went down his neck. It had been a long time since he last had anything properly prepared. It had mostly been junk food and whatever scraps he could scrounge up nearby. One time, he even began eating non lethal plants in forests in order to survive. As he drank the chocolate, he jumped slightly upon hearing the sound of the door flying off its' hinges. "Get used to that." "Hehe...I'll do my best..." Ayato said with a small sweatdrop forming on the back of his head as he watched the girl fall asleep on Seth's bed. Silence filled the air for a few moments as Ayato continued to drink the hot choco. "Wait! What the hell do you mean 'Get used to that'!?" Ayato exclaimed, finally realizing the implications of what the boy had said. Ayato ran his hand through his hair and let out a heavy sigh. "What the hell am I doing?...It's not like I can go anywhere else, or I can argue with him once he gets his mind set on something...I mean he does have that monstrous strength going for him..." He mused to himself as he quickly finished the rest of the drink before placing it inside the nearby sink. "Ahh forget it, i'll be crashing here from now on..." Ayato said letting out a yawn as he lay down on the vacant bed inside the room. "Thanks for letting me stay here kid...I suppose I owe you one..." He continued softly, before he quickly drifted off to sleep... Edited by Rikuo, Jan 18 2012, 05:57 AM.
