Okay, so this is... kind of stupid if he has to say anything. Remember that Battle City tournament he's participating in? Well, see, they're supposed to be collecting Locator Cards so they could move on to the finals, but... well. Since his first duel he's been stuck with only two... having gone through an endless exchange of equal win-lose ratio and now he's at... three wins, and two losses. Let's be honest, this is really getting silly, he needed to flip the table and change his luck so that he could actually advance...

And what, he's actually expecting to find another duelist in the museum?

... One down.

To be honest, Tsubame did not expect the last duel to end this quickly. It must have been luck on her side, or simply because she did plan her deck to control as many different situations as possible. After all, in a game of probabilities and possibilities, the more situations the cards in a deck can handle, the better.

The fact that she had almost everything in control until the last minute.... Well, it is a rather nice feeling, to say the least. It seemed to have been a good break from all the chaotic issues that she had to deal with recently. At least, for one, she doesn't have to dress in maid outfit working in cafe serving Osiris in an almost personal-maid style. That irritates her a lot, actually, when she has to do such thing, especially for Osiris.

Something about that Solomon guy just irritates her.

As she was thinking about all the things in her mind, her hand constantly plays with the newly acquired locator card in her hand. Her head was up in the air thinking about various things, and her feet brought her to the museum in town. It is interesting, actually. Given that Tsubame has never been to the museum before, the girl had expected her mindless wandering to bring her to somewhere else.

But that seemed not to be the case.

And what, she expects to meet someone here that duel?

...

... Nah~ There is no such coincidence, right?

But if someone offers up a duel, she would probably take it, too. After all, a challenge is a challenge.

It had been a long and tough journey, the boy thought as he took out one of his two locator cards, his very first one that has yet to be handed over to anyone. His second one had been exchanging hands from one person to another, never once staying with him for more than a duel. However this doesn't come with nothing. At the very least, you could call it an on-field trial-and-error session for his deck. It was risky, he had started the game knowing nothing about anything, and after all those fights he had retooled and reconfigured his deck to perfection. Or at least, he thought he did. Nevertheless, he certainly took great liking for his deck, it sorta grew on him. That's what happens when you put your heart working on something.

But still. He needed to find another opponent. He needed to get moving, move forward... get... more than...

...

How convenient.

That would certainly shock anyone in the vicinity, if it didn't call the security to toss him out of the museum. People parted away from him, edging to the sides as Seth himself walked over to someone... with a Duel Disk, a confident grin plastered on his face. "The name is Seth Ryouga and I challenge you to a duel!"

...Wait, isn't she the one whom helped that HEAT dopant?

"The name is Seth Ryouga and I challenge you to a duel!"

The announcement is so loud, that Tsubame couldn't help but to be startled a bit. After all, it is a museum, and the place is… quiet, usually.

She sighs lightly underneath her breathe, and turns around to face the man who has just announced her name. She takes a look at the duel disk around his arm, and knows just exactly what he wants.

So, this is a challenge, eh?

A light smirk appears, as she registers the word 'challenge' into her brain. Her smirk then brightens, and a bright, cheerful grin replaces it.

"Seth-san wants a duel with Tsu-chan, is it? Well, it'd be rude for me to say no, no~?" The girl says, taking her stack of cards out from her tiny pouch- which also contains her pda, seeds, and some first aid bandages- and slaps it onto her duel disk. The duel disk opens up, and the ground of the museum become a stage for dueling immediately.

As much as she doesn't want to disturb the peace of the museum, this is a challenge that she heard, and she ain't going to back down from this. This is a challenge. And challenge is what she lives for.

The thrills~

"Hmm, since this is a challenger… Feel free to take the initiative, sir~" The girl takes a stance, and pulls out five cards from her deck quickly.

"Now~ shall we start?"

Hrmhrm, perfect. He doesn't know just how many Locator Cards she has but who cares about that. It's about the battle, the duel, the pride of getting a quality fight, and he expected for her to be a tough one, just like his lasts.

Also, he just can't get used to the awesome special effects this little Duel Disk could provide.

Let's just hope the security doesn't decide to toss them out for disturbing the peace. "Very well then, you'll regret letting me go first," Without further ado, the boy slipped a card from his hand, epically putting it on his Duel Disk with metaphorical wind blowing. "Come, Rose!" At the same time the holographic figure of Rose, Warrior of Revenge materialized into view.

Gott, everything looked so realistic.

"Heh~ Seth-kun is the aggressive type, eh~" A mischievous smile appears on the girl's face as she comments, and draws a card from her deck. She looks at her hand, and tilts her head.

"What should I do~ It looks like the onee-chan there is going to hurt a bit if I leave her there…." She thinks out loud, her right hand wanders on top of her cards in her left hand from left to right, then from right to left.

In Tsubame's mind, of course, she has an idea of how she would play this out already. The 1600 ATK monster poses no threat at all.

"Jah~ I am going to set 1 monster, then two cards face down, and end my turn~" Grinning, the girl puts two cards into the spell and trap slot of the duel disk, and lay a card face down in the monster zone.

"Now, what'd you do~?"

"Mhm, he is as aggressive as a hungry lion~" He said, giving her his own mischievous smile. Looks like she's got something planned? Well, he's gonna mess up her day so the girl should be thinking twice about going against him. "If you don't mind... I'll use Bait Doll!"

He slipped one card from his hand, specifically the spell card that forces the activation of a trap card, targeting one of the cards on her Spell/Trap cards field. "No hard feelings, okay?"

"Mhm, no hard feelings."

Tsubame comments, slightly sour sounding, before revealing the card that was destroyed to be a face down Call of the Haunted. She ejects the revealed card, and sends the card into the graveyard.

Well, that messed up part of her plan, but that is not the end of the world. She still has control.

"Alright," He gave a smirk, satisfied at how he managed to get rid of a very familiar card that had been giving him troubles in his last fights. Well, whatever the case... after setting a monster, it's time to take it up a notch! "That's it, Rose! Attack and defeat her monster!" It was probably a very rash decision, considering how some face-downs have effects that activates when they are revealed, either manually or destroyed. But that's just him. Besides, cowards do not live, and that's the main rule of his Synchro Warrior deck.

The holographic female warrior immediately went into action without any objection, dashing forward and quickly cleaving through the holographic hidden card on the field! Who knows just what that card is, but who cares!

A bright smile appears on the floramancer's face when the Lady Warrior attacks and slashes through the face down monster card into two with her short sword. She reveals her face down monster, and the flash of a white, dog-like creature appeared.

"You got tricked~" The girl puts the monster card from her duel disk into her hand, and shows the opponent the effect of the monster, "When my pet's initial form is revealed, it will automatically destroy one card on the field, while I send three cards from my deck to the graveyard~"

The girl sends the card in her hand into the graveyard, and picks up the top three card of her deck, revealing each of them. "Now, by sending the top 3 cards- my Solemn Judgment, Call of the Haunted, and Glow-up Bulb- into the graveyard, Ryko, destroy my opponent's shadowed monster!"

This is a tricky and annoying mill, to be honest. Losing her all-negation and revival to a mill is very, very dangerous. However, with Glow up bulb and ryko in the graveyard… This can become interesting.

"Now, what'd we have hidden~?"

"Hmph..." Well. No matter! Even if he did got tricked it's not a great loss compared to her milling. She would probably be disappointed that the card she chose to destroy was his face-down monster, Synchron Explorer. The boy took the face down card with a huff, sending it to the graveyard as the card hologram on the field itself disappeared from view. "That was nice... but don't think it's gonna be over with just that,"

"My turn~" Tsubame says with a glee, and draws a card. She puts the card into her hand, and once again, pondered for a long, long time.

A little expression of upsetness shows up on her face, before she puts another card into the spell and trap slot.

'Well, there's nothing much I can do right now with what I have… I will set 1 card face down, and end my turn~"

Patience is a virtue. That she knows very well.

Of course, the boy here doesn't know the meaning of being patient. I mean, he does, but that's not how he does things, be it in battle, test, duel, war or love. In any case, he gave a sigh of relief as... uh. Tsu-chan? Right... he gave a sigh of relief as the girl didn't do much for her turn, merely setting a card on her field.

Well then. "Time to take out my specialty, Tuning!" As he placed a card on the field, a woman in a robe with a harp appeared on the field, playing a somewhat melodious tone, as at the same time, his whole deck flashed into view in front of him. "This allows me to search a Synchron Tuner monster from my deck to my hand, in exchange for milling a card," He said confidently, scanning his list of holographic cards that towered in front of him until he found his target. "Gotcha, Quickdraw!" One of the cards flipped to reveal itself as Quickdraw Synchron to Tsu-chan (DAMMIT WHAT'S HER FULL NAME), before the whole deck disappeared from view, and the Quickdraw Synchron card appeared in his hand.

"And now... Rose! Show her what you got!" The female warrior obediently complied, rushing towards the girl at incredible speed, bringing her sword down towards the girl! It will be quite a shocker, and it could leave her quite shaken, even if it was just a hologram.

For the entire time between Seth using the card Tuning, the holograph of a woman playing the harp, and Seth getting a card, there was no reaction from the girl at all. She has a rather complex expression on, as if she is trying to decide something for herself- is there something that she has under her sleeves in planning?

Well, there is nothing that she did at the meantime, so let's just assume that her face downs are not something that are meant to be activated.

Then income the attack of the Rose Warrior.

Tsubame's eyes widened, even though she has raised her forearms, criss crossed in front of her, to absorb some of the impact. Even though this is but holograms, this actually hurts, quite a bit as well. The girl couldn't help but to frown a little bit at the pain.

"… M-Mou~ Seth-san don't know how to be gentle~" The girl's lips pouted out after she steadied her stance. "Girls are beings delicate and fragile like flowers you know~"

She closes her eyes again when she feels another sharp pain from a short dagger slice from Rose's second attack. This must be the activation of Rose's ability when she inflict battle damage, eh?

"If you get some retaliation from Tsu's dear plants later on, it's not my fault at all, alright~?" The girl comments again, after taking the second hit, and draws her card for her turn. "My turn! Draw~!"

The girl presses something on her duel disk, and the card that she milled into the graveyard- Glow Up Bulb- ejects from the graveyard slot, and Tsubame grabs it into her hand. "And now, allow me to introduce the first member of the garden~ Glow up Bulb! By milling a card from my deck to the graveyard, I will special summon a bud from my graveyard!" As soon as Tsubame sends a Mark of the Rose from her deck into the graveyard and slaps the newly retrieved card onto the duel disk, a strange looking seed emerges from the ground. The seed blooms into a white flower, and, suddenly, the skin of the seed cracks, and an eye appears in the middle of the seed.

"And now~ I will return this seed into my hand, and call forth one of my ladies!" Snatching the Glow up bulb from the duel disk, the girl replaces the card with another card. "Come forth! Fallen Angel of Roses!"

Yea... delicate and fragile...? Sorry, he's got enough experience with girls to say otherwise. They're ALL tough and scary... Okay, not all but most. Look at Youma, that girl's a living nightmare.

"Not so fast ladies~ Solemn Warning!" Perhaps it was an error in the script, but who knows. What we do know is that he's activating a counter trap card that was there on his side of the field all along. As the card flashes with a bright white light an elderly man with a cane materialized into view, holding up his hand towards Fallen Angel of Rose. "Solemn Warning, I can negate the summon of your monster! With a price of course..." Immediately after he said that a burning pain shot through his chest, causing him to stagger slightly on the spot as his life point was reduced by 2000. "Geh... that's actually painful..." He said, chuckling darkly. "All's fair in love and war Tsu-chan..."
