"So, why are we walking around the park with me in physical form?" The golden winged wolf asked his companion as they continued around the park. Honestly Fenrus had no idea why Lucidus was acting strangely, normally he spent most of his time hunting demons in the forest or other things of an adventurous nature. However recently he had stopped going on hunts and started becoming more quiet and not as enthusiastic as usual.

"Well, I just want to walk around for a bit. There isn't anything wrong with that is there?" Lucidus asked as he looked at Fenrus. He still had been troubled at his recent bloodlust whenever he got into a fight. Something was triggering it but he didn't know what, so he wanted to keep it from people to try and keep them unaware of what was going on. Hell even Fenrus didn't know why Lucidus was acting like he was.

Fenrus looked back at the ground as he continued to follow Lucidus. "No, I suppose not." Fenrus responded quietly. He guessed that Lucidus really musn't of wanted to share what problem he had. Eventually after several more minutes of walking Lucidus ended up sitting down on a bench. It was then that Fenrus began to talk again. "If something is wrong then you know you can tell me." Lucidus looked at Fenrus and he knew that Fenrus had nothing but godd intentions in his head but Lucidus didn't think that he needed to know. "If there was something wrong I wouldn't hesitate to tell you." Lucidus lied seriously. He didn't feel like Fenrus could help him at the moment and despite being his spirit companion Lucidus felt like leaving Fenrus in the dark was currently the best option, at least until he found out more about what's been happening.

Adalin whimpered softly as she descended, He green wings outstretched behind her. The feeling of the extra appendage catching air always made her feel weird. 'W-why are we here again... we d-don't start till tomorrow...' she thought to herself, and waited for the owner of her wings to respond.

Drifting lower she spied a head of soft blond hair. The thought of having to speak to a stranger, was enough to make the girl try and flap away, but her wings held firm, stopped by another force. 'We're here... so you know who to watch out for...' It wasn't much of a way to answer her question, and the tone implied he had something more sinister planned.

Closing the gap to the ground, she landed quietly behind the boy. A rush of wind followed her as it caught up. She tried to be quiet, and just stare at the back of his head, hoping it would be enough to satisfy Ehecatl. She gained hope until the gruff voice barked at her 'TALK TO HIM!' it growled. The sudden loudness inside her caused the girl to jump, letting off a quiet yelp, quickly followed by a string of words spoken aloud to the stranger. "A-areyouastudenthere"

Part of her thought, maybe she'd scared him, then another part wished he'd get up and run away so Ehecatl would stop being mean.

Lucidus continued sitting on the bench waiting and doing nothing but thinking to himself. He didn't have anything else planned so he was completely okay with wasting some of his time sitting on the bench by himself. At least relatively by himself, of course there was his companion, Fenrus there but other than that he was on his own. A quick gust of wind blew past him, Lucidus however didn't think of anything of it.

However when he heard a voice coming from behind him asking whether or not he was a student he turned around. He wasn't completely sure whether that was directed at him but seeing as there was no one else in the nearby vicinty of them both he assumed that this girl was talking to him.

Lucidus smiled before deciding to make a snarky comment. "If you sneak up on people like that you might start getting a reputation as a stalker." Lucidus said jokingly. "But to answer your original question yes I am a student at the school. Why do you ask?" His tone became more questioningly as he didn't know what the girl wanted, however his tone still had that light hearted tone and a smile on his face. Granted he was hiding the fact that he was preparing at any second for an attack from the girl.

After all, being on their own in a rather abandoned place it was a prime target for an ambush. Lucidus was noramlly ready for combat whenever it happened but he hoped it didn't happen this time around. He had a feeling that like the prevous times if he got into a fight he wouldn't be able to stop himself for a while. Not only that but he would probably kill his unfortunate opponent. He didn't want to become a murderer so it would be so much easier if a fight wasn't started. However it seemed like he only entered that state when he got injured so he just had to be careful if it ended up in a fight. However Lucidus watched and waited for the girl's response before deciding on any course of action.

Adalin blushed softly in emberressment and looked down, away from the boys cool green gaze. Just as quickly as she started talking, she was quiet again. A part of her wishing she could stay like that. Until the Dragon yelled at her again 'SPEAK!!!!' She jumped and cowered slightly. Though to Lucidus she appeared to do it at random, with no cause.

After almost a full minute of silence Adalin looked up at him and started to speak, softly. Her long horns shaking softly in nervousness. "W-well... there's this... voice... in my head... and he...." she stopped the sentence short realizing how weird she sounded. Taking in a soft breath, she breathed out, trying to calm herself "I-I'm... possessed... by a dragon... and-" Again she stopped herself, trying to figure out a way to phrase it that wouldn't leave her sounding like a freak.

Instead of speaking again her eye's started to wander, getting stuck on the weird looking canine that sat by the boy. "You... have a dog..." Adalin said softly as she looked it over, he eyes focused and bright. At-least she wouldn't have to talk to it.

Lucidus smirked as the girl blushed. Well that was definetly a strange reaction however she seemed like the shy sort. However so far he believed that she wasn't a threat. This doesn't mean that Lucidus wasn't on guard in case he was attacked instantly. The girl did jump for some strange and unknown reason which Lucidus sure as hell didn't know about. It seemed rather random if anything and it did make Lucidus a bit more paranoid about the girl, so far he trusted her to an extent that she wasn't going to try to kill him but he was still cautious.

Roughly a minute passed where the girl didn't answer his question. He wasn't going to ask another question until he had gotten some more information from the girl. However when she began to talk about a voice inside her head Lucidus's curiosty peaked significantly. The next sentence that she said pretty much explained what she was going on about. She was possesed by a dragon, that was an interesting one. He had heard of being possesed by multiple different things but he had never heard of someone being possesed by a dragon before. It was actually something rather unique.

Lucidus continued to listen but it seemed like the girl got taken a bit off track with the fact that Fenrus was sitting next to him. When she referred to Fenrus as a dog however it elicited a small growl of displeasure from Fenrus. "I am much more than a mere dog thank you very much." The wolf said as he turned to face the newcomer, normally he would ignore whatever conversations that Lucidus had with people but insulting him by referring to him as a common house pet was just rude. "Fenrus, calm down it was an honest mistake." Lucidus said as in one fluid movement he was standing on the ground about a metre or two away from the girl. Fenrus on the other hand turned to face the girl and looked her over before deciding it wasn't worth his time and lying back down. "You got a bit of track from answering my question, you were mentioning how you are possesed by a dragon." Lucidus said as he looked at the girl in front of him, his voice betraying no doubt in her words. He was rather interested in this whole dragon possesion thing and he wanted to hear more about it.

Lucidus' words only caused her to blush more. Someone actually being nice to her for once. Apart from her mother, father, and the occasional moment from Ehecatl, it was something she never got to see or feel. Feeling these thoughts the voice in her head growled 'He's a stranger, he's just being polite.... probably plotting how to hurt you...' 'No...' She just shook her head visibly, though yet again for an unknown reason to the boy Adalin was talking to.

Though the new speaking dog frightened her, the dragon possessed girl looked back toward Lucidus. "W-well... er... my mom... she had it... then... i got it... then..." Adalin's sentences were full of stutters and gaps, though she spoke clearly, it wasn't always an easy task to understand her.

Taking a quiet step toward Fenrus she did what she'd learned in books. Outstretching her hand with her palm out, she made soft clicking noises with her mouth to try to get its attention. "Why does... your... dog.... talk?" she asked in a hushed tone. She could tell from the warm sensation in her skull that Ehecatl hated every moment of this 'bonding'

Lucidus continued to watch as the girl in front of him blushed. She didn't show any signs of actually properly answering his question but it was okay. One had to have patience when dealing with this kind of person. She then said no before shaking her head, Lucidus was wondering if this was directed at her or the thing inside her head. It was really hard to tell which is why Lucidus preferred it much more that Fenrus could manifest in a physical form.

Eventually however the girl started to explain it granted very slowly and full of breaks but she began to explain it. Lucidus thought that it sounded at most like a family duty. If her mother had it and then she had it it seemed like it was something that the family guarded or kept locked away or something else. Lucidus decided to question if this was really the case. "So, you mean that this dragon was something that your family guards or something similar." Lucidus said with a smile. "I may be wrong but that is roughly what I've gathered from what you've explained to me." Lucidus commented light heartedly. This was getting more and more interesting but it still didn't answer his original question of why she asked him. However he would let that go for now, this dragon was far more interesting.

As the girl took a step towards Fenrus his head automatically popped up and began to look at her. The wolf sighed, she kept on treating him as if he was a mere house pet. When she referred to him as a dog again he was going to begin to argue but decided that it wasn't worth his effort. "Lucidus would you please explain to this girl why I am actually NOT a dog." Fenrus muttered with some level of disdain at which Lucidus could only chuckle at. He turned away from Fenrus and faced the girl again before going on to explain what Fenrus was. "Technically speaking he's not a dog, he's a spirit, he also is my partner as well as the source of my powers. We made a contract together and now we are stuck with each other." Lucidus explained as simply as he could. He could get into the whole details about him being from another world but that wasn't neccesarily needed at this point in time so he didnt bother adding those details in.

Adalin flinched visibly as the questions were asked of her. Obviously not liking being forced to speak more. But the nice presence of the 'dog' nearby was enough to keep her from clamming up entirely.

She waited on answering his questions and took another step forward, laying her hand atop the unusual canine's head. She didn't movie it, just held it there. ".... Doggy...." The girl said, as if she'd ignored that whole section of conversation.

Taking a breath, as if she'd been holding it in, she looked from the target of her affection back to Lucidus. "Yeah.. its sort of... like that...." Slowly gaining courage she began to scratch at its ears, assuming it would be similar to the cats she'd seen at home.

'Attack him!' The voice suddenly echoed through her head. 'W-why... he's nice...' she thought back timidly, not wanting to upset the being inside her. 'Attack him... because i said so!'

Taking her hand away, he expression went from that of timidity to one of sleight sadness. "E-Ehecatl.... says... I should try to hurt you..." She looked up at the boy who'd been so nice to her up till now. "I.... is it alright... if i try... I don't want Ehecatl to yell again..."

Lucidus smiled as the girl began to talk pet Fenrus. She was pretty brave despite being what Fenrus considered insulting. He knew that Fenrus wouldn't try to attack her or something without ample reasoning. He just stood there as the girl layed her hand on Fenrus's head. When the girl confirmed what he had asked Lucidus nodded in acknowledgement. He had pretty much hit the mark with what he had suggested. Still though it would be much more interesting to learn more about this spirit thing.

However when she said that someone was telling her to hurt him Lucidus got prepared. There was still a chance for Lucidus to defuse the situation so when she asked whether it was okay to attack him Lucidus moved towards her. While he was mentally preparing for a potentially fight he continued smiling. He eventually stood about a foot away from her and continued to look straight at her. "Is that what you want though?" Lucidus asked in a nice sounding tone. "Don't forget that it's your body it doesn't belong to whatever is in your head." Lucidus said as he prepared for a potential fight.

Fenrus however was already standing and ready in case the fight started. He knew that this could turn bad quickly so he was prepared to leap in and help Lucidus in the fight. However he admired that Lucidus attempted to diffuse the situation first, it was one of the major reasonings behind why he was the person that he formed a contract with him.

As Lucidus got up, and moved toward her, she only blushed and tried to step back. The closeness of him only made her blush turn a darker shade of red.

Looking away from the others gaze Adalin thought about what he said, coming to a simple conclusion "I... it is ... what i want... because if I don't... Ehecatl will yell at me more...." Glancing over the boy shoulder she stared at Fenrus instead, finding it much easier to keep her gaze on an animal then a human.

'Come on! This is perfect! He's right there! You could cut him in half before he could even react!' ((<- dragons assuming)) The dragon's voice was raised, its tone stern and angry "N-No! Th-that wouldn't be fair...." She said in a quiet mumble, her body beginning to tremble softly from the stress of the situation. The horns on her head starting to harden and jut out away from her in response.

A part of her, deep down inside wanted to do what Ehecatl says. He'd never purposely led her to harm before, only yelled when she didn't comply. "S-step back.... one attack should make him happy... I'll even go slow... s-so you can... dodge it...." Ehecatl only grumbled in response to the suggestion.

Lucidus lost his smile as the girl said that it was what she wanted because it meant that whatever was in her head would stop yelling at her. Well, that was a problem. He didn't want to get into a fight with this seemingly innocent girl but whatever was inside her head was seemingly forcing her to attack him or at least yelling at her to attack him. Lucidus however guessed more then likely that he would easily be able to avoid anything she threw at him since she had warned him that she was going to attack.

It seemed like the girl then argued with the dragon over something not being fair. It seemed like she wouldn't mind attacking as long as it was a fair fight. Lucidus sighed before he turned away. He began to walk slowly before sending a message to Fenrus not to intervene. He then turned back to the girl and smiled again. "Okay then give me your best shot." Lucidus said kindly enough. He was more then sure that he could easily dodge whatever was thrown at him. Besides he was rather sure that the girl wouldn't put her full power behind the attack. While he wasn't exactly completely sure that she wouldn't put her strength behind the attack he was confident that the girl wouldn't. That's was what Lucidus thought she would do from what he had seen so far.

However he decided he was going to have a word with whatever thing was inside her head after he dodged whatever she was going to attack him with. After all if there is something thats inside a persons head it shouldn't make demands of it's host. That wasn't what a spirit should do no matter what kind of spirit it is.

She looked up in response to him backing away from her. His words making her smile softly, glad she hadn't lost a friend due to Ehecatl's demands.

Putting out her right arm, she placed her left hand on the wrist, she was trying her best to mimic an anime she'd seen long ago, hoping this would make her seem less weird.

"P-please don't... hate me for this...." Slowly her right hand started to change, the first most noticeably thing was her skin gaining a light minty hue, that slowly got deeper. Then the bones beneath the altered flesh began to shift, On eye closing in reaction, and discomfort.

Two sickening pops echoed out one after anouther The first leaving her with 3 dark green fleshy nubs, the second caused large claws to erupt from them, leaving her with a hand like that of the creature inhabiting her.

During the process her unclosed eye had grown teary from the pain of the transformation, as the other opened it had changed, looking like that of a yellow cats eye, That part had been forced by Ehecatl, hoping to give her some sort of accuracy.

"I-I'm sorry you had to... see that..." Adalin said as he hands gently dropped to her side... "I-I'm going to attack... in.... 3..." She raised up her clawed appendage, aiming it directly at Lucidus's chest. "...2..." She took a stance, like a runner preparing for the sound of a gun. "...1... I'm sorry...." She said quickly and quietly

In an instant, she had lept, the power of it sending her flying, just above the ground, clawed hand extended in front of her. The back of her mind pleading for lucidus to dodge.

((Please dodge q.q, they're such good friends~!!!)

Lucidus observed as the girl's arm began to change into something much more draconic. It was a strange process but her arm seemed to turn into something that was resemiling a dragon's claw. It kind of creeped Lucidus out a bit but it was this girl's powers apparently and who was he to judge a person's powers. Lucidus replied to her statement about hating her for it. "Ahh, nevermind about it." Lucidus said with his stilly joyful tone. He really wasn't blaming the girl for it but the spirit or whatever was in her head was completely responsible for this and he was more than sure that he would let it know what he was feeling.

The attack that the girl had launched was wearily predictable, Lucidus realized that even if she was putting her full strength behind her attack he would probably be able to dodge it. This attack however was more than simple, he just ducked under the claw before moving so he would be back to back with the girl He was suprised though, he didn't know if that was the girl's only power but so far it seemed interesting.

However there was a time for getting to know the girl's powers later. Lucidus then turned to the girl not even waiting for her to turn around back to him. "So, is that thing in your head happy now?" Lucidus asked he wasn't sure if the thing would be so pleased with just one attack but hopefully it would. If it was then Lucidus could get onto more important things such as asking the spirit what exactly he was doing with abusing the heck out of his host.

Adalin gasped quietly as the boy dodged her with unexpected ease, causing her to go for just a bit more then she expected. That alone brought a soft smile to her lips, visible only to the canine who was still infront of her.

With a a loud *THUNK* her claws sunk into the back of the suprisingly sturdy park bench. Landing with a small form of grace, she resumed a natural pose, standing straight with her arm still stuck to the bench. 'Idiot... you made it to easy...' he grumbled, but none the less seemed satisfied with the result of her attack.

Her smile fading, she turned her head and looked at Lucidus, her normal eyes full of tears. "I-I'm stuck.... h-help?" She asked quietly, not even responding to the question, only concerned with getting her hand unwedged from the piece of bench.

Taking a step to the side, she pointed to the fleshy weapon now stuck helplessly. It wiggled occasionally as she tried to break free.

Fenrus noticed the satisfaction on the girl's face as Lucidus easily dodged it. He guessed that it was true that she didn't really want to hurt him. However he still wanted to know more about this dragon spirit. There weren't many dragons that ended up becoming a spirit that could inhabit someone. Most of the time they were to strong so this was an interesting case to say the least.

Lucidus had to stop himself from laughing as the girl was stuck into the park bench with her claw arm. It was quite frankly hilarious, it did show the girl that had little experience in combat or she would have planned for that before hand. However it did show that the claw was reasonably durable and strong otherwise it wouldn't of gotten stuck into a bench if it wasn't strong enough.

However when the girl began to cry Lucidus sighed he walked over to where the girl was placing both of his hands around her draconically transformed arm and pulled back in an attempt to get her claw unstuck from where it currently was. "You should be a tad more careful when your running around swinging that claw around." Lucidus said jokingly hoping that it would ease the girl's tears a bit. Lucidus had hoped that this would help divulge more information about the dragon but he was definetly starting to grow fond of this girl, despite the whole attacking her to shut the spirit in her head up.
