Supposedly he's not allowed here... this is an All-Girls dorm after all. But he can come with the intention of 'visiting', right? Hana did call her after all.

...Gosh, a girl's room looks so... weird. Not saying he hadn't seen the interior of a girl's room before but... a girl's room in an All-Girls dormitory is just... surreal.

So why was he here in the first place? Well, considering that he had little to nothing to do on Christmas, Hana had decided to call and invite him to spend Christmas with her. He probably should have thought that she had something weird planned in advance considering she had told him to come to her room, but... why the hell did he oblige he had no idea. And... to be honest though... the memory of the WDA Christmas party a few weeks earlier was still fresh in his mind that he was tempted to just lock himself in his room for the rest of December. But...

...Yeah, he came anyway. Someone please explain the enigmatic construction of his mind.

But before that, should he be afraid of sitting here all alone in the living room of a girl's dorm room? It really feels ominous, like something bad is going to happen.

The teenage kunoichi looked into her palm with a smile. She was proud of what she had made for Seth's Christmas present. While it had taken a lot of time and effort, her patience had definitely paid off. Now all she had to do was hope Seth would like it. Quickly putting together the gift and placing it carefully into a small black giftbox, she slipped the present into her pocket and walked out into the living room where Seth was waiting.

"Thanks for coming!" she cried in a cheery tone, sitting beside him. From the expression on his face, Hana could tell his thoughts were still lingering on what happened that day.. "Ah.. By the way, I'm really really really sorry for what happened that time.. I thought that if I had a little to drink, I'd.. Ah..! I'm really sorry!!" Still, he'd come here when she asked him to so she could trust that was a sign that he wasn't mad at her.

Though her memories of that day weren't exactly crystal clear, she could remember enough to know that she had caused a lot of trouble. Especially when they were alone.. Well, at least he knew she had romantic intentions for him. Even if she was drunk at the time.

"Aaah... aha... yeah, don't worry about that. It's fine now," And he had Jameson to thank to at that, come to think of it. Had he not barged into the scene to settle things with his lecture he was quite sure things would go a whole lot uglier. At the very least, he's on good terms with Youma again. Or... well. He should have said, at least she's not pretending to ignore his very existence. Though he's not sure if that's something to celebrate about; she takes the chance to punch or kick him every time they meet now.

So uh... okay. They're here... what now? He glanced around, finding nothing that might suggest anything about a party that's going to be held here whatsoever. Well... she didn't specifically mention party, all she did say was something about spending Christmas with her. In her dorm room. For whatever reason. "So..." He hummed softly, tapping his fingers on his lap and nervously glancing around the room, occasionally catching Hana's... strangely expectant eyes.

...

"...Uhm. Want something to drink?"

Facepalm.

Hana lowered her eyes and mumbled, "Really..?" Truly, Hana had no regrets about what happened that day.. Though deep, deep down, she felt just a little bit bad for him having to go through all that. But the events that day weren't for naught. She found out quite a bit about Seth, and it seemed like she wasn't the only girl who was interested in getting closer to the boy beside her. It just made this whole scenario a whole lot interesting..

Should she make sure he was aware of her advances? After all, if she didn't make it clear, how would she ever know that he would step up his game and take the lead? After having the silence broken by Seth's nervous fidgeting, she decided it was best to wait. It's not like there was anything on the line for this anyway. "You're thirsty? Why didn't you say so! What would you like? Tea? Coffee? Hot cocoa? Or something cold perhaps?" she called out, making her way to the kitchen.

Those other girls.. That short brat who somehow understood her intentions. Although Youma was irritating, she was nothing Hana couldn't handle. And then there was that other girl.. She was formal.. very formal. She didn't seem to know normal mannerisms at all. Not to mention, she didn't seem capable of "loving". They were nothing to worry about. In fact, the teenage girl laughed at the fact she actually thought they would be any competition.

Walking back to the living room with two mugs of Seth's selected drink sitting on the tray she was carrying, Hana smiled and set the drinks on the coffee table. Noticing the childish glint in his eyes, the girl couldn't help but giggle. "Ano, Seth.." she said slowly, with a hint of cheekiness, "Could it be.. you really like hot chocolate?" Realising her own words, her face took on a look of surprise before she disappeared back to the kitchen with a quick "Hold on a minute!"

When she reappeared, Hana had in her hands a packet of marshmallows. "You have to have marshmallows when you drink hot chocolate, right?" she laughed, slipping into the couch beside him and leaning toward him. "Here." Without warning, she held one of the marshmallows between her two fingers against his lips, gently guiding it forward as he opened his mouth. Seems like they were caught in another ambiguously intimate moment.

There was no doubt, the sight of hot chocolate elicited a small excited squeak from the boy. Nice of her to remember his favorite drink, he thought as he eagerly took a mug and started downing the content without a care of how scalding hot it is. "Nice of you to remember my favorite drink," Seth said with a satisfied sigh, apparently forgetting his earlier dilemma as he paused to talk before a marshmallow was suddenly stuffed into his mouth. Well, she probably shouldn't have done it so suddenly like that, the boy nearly choked on it.

"Gah... Ha...Hana you idiot..." He said, gasping for breath with watery eyes after managing to swallow whole the unnaturally large piece of marshmallow that had blocked his air passageway for a whole minute. Also, that's the first time he had called her an idiot, isn't it? "Jeez... when you're feeding someone you don't do it with the intent to kill..." He said, regaining his senses fairly quickly as he himself took a piece from the packet in her hand. "Do it like this..." Begin counterattack. The boy himself leaned over her, eyes staring lazily into her eyes, the marshmallow hovering over her mouth, lightly grazing against her lips as he said, "... as gentle as a lover's first meeting..."

Troll.

Like he's actually gonna feed her, wishful thinking, readers. Seth gave one little mischievous smirk before withdrawing himself away from her, popping the marshmallow into his own mouth. "What, you didn't think I was actually gonna feed you?"

"Ah, sorry sorry! I didn't mean to choke you!" she apologized, waving her hands in front of her as if it was a misunderstanding. "I'll get you some water!" However, before she could move, Seth had suddenly moved in on her with a marshmallow he was holding barely touching her lips. Taken by surprise, her cheeks had taken on a little bit of color. It wasn't like she wasn't used to it .. It's just the person who was doing it didn't usually do that..

A discreet smile appeared on her face. Had Seth not learned from that first time he teased her? She would always turn it around on him, because unlike him, Hana was actually serious with her endeavors. "If you're not gonna feed me then.." Grasping her chance, she moved toward him before he could do anything. Her hand laid against his chest, their bodies with a zero gap, she gazed into his eyes just like he had done to her moments before. ".. how about a kiss?" she murmured airily, tracing his lower lip with her finger.

Before Hana and Seth could break apart from being so intimate- almost on top of each other- the door to the bedroom swings open, and there stood a girl.

The girl isn't tall- just about 5 feet 3 inches. With a pair of glasses, her long, straight brown hair loosely tied back in a white ribbon behind her, and dressed in a hooter and a pair of royal blue jeans, the girl seemed to have just returned from some sort of sports outing. Of course, however, the paleness of the skin and lips will hint to those who are observant enough that she has been physically weak, at least for a little while.

She looks shocked, as if she has witnessed something very unexpected.

Tsubame has been notified about a new roommate coming to live in her room a while ago. Given that she has been living in a room for two people by herself- and has enjoyed herself doing so- except for complaining a little about the change in arrangement, she doesn't really have any other choice but to agree to it. However, since as soon as she has received the notification about the move in of the new roommate, the incident where she was stalked and cut in the waist has happened, she has been living in Osiris's mansion- regardless of whether it was out of her will or not- ever since, this was her first time actually meeting her roommate.

Of course, Tsubame know very well herself that this is not going to end well, simply because how much privacy she actually needs for herself for various reason. But then again, having a roommate may also be a good disguise in itself. Thus, she has not done any sort of arrangement for moving out, or anything of that, and simply looked forward to- not enthusiastically- meeting this roommate.

But to see that her roommate was acting so intimately with another guy in a shared room on the first encounter…

'Shocked' is the blandest word that Tsubame can use to describe her own feeling.

However, her expression quickly softens into a smile, and walks into the room.

"Gomene~ Please don't mind me and continue~" Not really seeming to care that she walked into what may seem be done intimately between two lovers, the girl brings her shoulder handbag into the room, and throws it onto her own bed.

She takes a quick peek at the plants on her side of the room- the ones on the kitchen top and/or the bathroom, she is almost certain that they are probably all either dead or thrown out, and notices that the plants are… not watered. She has asked Yuri to help her with the plants, and the girl did comply. However, that was only until before this girl, Hana, has moved in. Afterwards, Yuri has stopped going, simply to prevent the raising of suspicion. And, as expected, they are all dead. If not all dead, they are almost all dead already.

A silent anger brews within Tsubame. While she cannot blame Hana for not watering her plants, it still hurts her a lot to see her babies die away so poorly from hunger, instead of dying from battling valiantly on combat zone.

Yet, no such anger showed up on Tsubame's face. She knew that she needs to keep a facade on, at least for now.

The Floramancer proceeds sits down on her bed. Her chin resting on her left palm, her left elbow on her right palm, and her right forearm resting on top of her crossed legs hanging from the bedside, Tsubame looks at Hana and Seth, with a bright grin on her face. It seems that the girl is quite interested to actually watch them kiss- or do whatever they are going to do next.

Was it simply because she was on top of him? Or was it the seductive aura she's exuding, numbing his limbs so that he couldn't move? He was quite sure he had been through something similar, it felt like deja vu, though he couldn't remember when. With the girl pressed on top of him advancing ever so closer, her eyes staring lazily into his like a spell that binds her victims, mouth parted slightly, feeling her warm breath on his face, her slender feminine finger gently tracing his lips-

Click.

As if Hana wasn't bad enough, having someone else walk in on them was worse. WORSE STILL, the other girl doesn't seem to be complaining. In fact... What the heck is that girl looking so enthusiastic about?! "N-no!" Clearly denying and clearly embarrassed, the boy immediately shoved Hana away from him, getting up to his feet and coughing, "Uhm... yes, I'll go get something to eat..." It was an excuse he came on a whim and he had no choice after that but to quickly withdraw to the kitchen. But he would do anything to avoid being the center of awkward attention. Crud dammit, that girl was dangerous, how could he forget that?!

Part of him was wishing he had just gone through with it.

No! Bad thoughts, dirty thoughts!

This time seemed different.. He was reacting a little differently from last time. For one, he didn't have the "deer staring into headlights" petrified look on his face. But could she simply be just imagining it? Maybe she had wanted this for too long that she was willing her eyes to see what she wanted to see. Was he really looking at her lips as if he wanted it too?

Seemingly unperturbed by the girl who had entered, her focus on Seth did not waver. Was it because she didn't care? No, it wasn't that.. Was it because chances like this didn't come often? Pretty much. Last time she tried this on him.. Let's just say it didn't end up how Hana would've liked. She wasn't going to stop now if she was somehow given this opportunity. Even if they had a spectator.

To her dismay, this unexpected interruption caused Seth to push Hana away from him and the moment was lost. Dammit.. And she was so close too!! Her expression as she got up was not of surprise or shock but rather a bored look. He had fulfilled her despised expectations.. All because of this girl!! She side-glanced over to the girl with hidden displeasure.

"It was a joke! A joke. Don't take it so seriously," she managed to say before Seth made his way to the kitchen. While he escaped to calm himself down, Hana directed her attention to the newcomer. Who was this girl? Now that she thought about it, it must be her roommate.. Boo. Just when she was enjoying the benefits of living alone in her dorm.

As customary with every female she met, Hana looked her over. She had a very cute face and she was attractive. She was a possible threat.. Locking eyes with the girl, she looked on as if sizing up her opponent in silent battle. After awhile, the raven-haired girl smiled and asked in a sickly sweet tone, "Might you be my roommate?"

… Sickening.

Tsubame could almost smell the same exact aroma that she would get from someone of her own rank from this roommate of hers. She doesn't have proofs, or anything of that sort. She could just tell that this smile of hers, this tone of hers, and even this demeanor of hers is just… sickening.

Call this a woman's intuition, but Tsubame already knows that she would rather have had her old times back, when she still have the room all to herself.

"Tsubame Adamas is my name, but you can call me Tsu as well~" Replying with a similarly sweet tone, the girl nods and says, her legs shifting from being crossed on the left to crossed on the right. "Don't worry~ He's not my type." As if she has read through what Hana was thinking about, or something of that sort, the girl adds.

It is rather obvious that this woman is not your ordinary oh-so-cute-and-innocent kind of girl. That sort of girl has long disappeared from the face of earth, really. Actually, maybe not, but there is not much of those around. At least, not in Tsubame's world. She could tell this much from how this girl has looked at her up and down before she actually start greeting. This is the typical thing that people, especially girls of her age, would do, judging them up and down and see if they poses a threat or not.

While Tsubame doesn't really care whether or not Hana thinks of her as a threat, she knows for a fact that she doesn't see Hana as one. Even if Hana sees her as a threat, and tries to mess with her, she'd make sure that Hana won't get to that stage. Things will be over before it starts. That's how she works.

The floramancer proceeds to reach for her bag, and starts to take out some stuff- pajamas, electronics, shampoo- some essentials- and finally, a heavy stack of documents. She pauses a little in the thought, and then turns towards Hana again.

"Thanks for taking care of the room while I was gone, by the way~" The girl speaks again, quite naturally. "So how long has this been?"

… That is, if you are not someone who is guessy and who never reads into things.

But most girls has more than enough imagination to insert their own implications.

...Not her type... gloom... wait, what's he being so hopeful for anyway? Crud dammit, he doesn't need any more trouble than he already has. The boy sighed exasperatedly as he began absent mindedly chopping the carrots with a cleaver, wearing a pink flowery apron in the kitchen. This always keeps him calm, especially after what happened just now, and especially after what's happening... what's happening now, what are those two talking about...?

...What is he supposed to be doing here anyway? Hana asked him to come, so... he did.

...

Okay, so he's too curious for his own good. The boy took a potato and a potato peeler and began skinning the potato as he peered out of the kitchen's doorway, trying to eavesdrop on what the two girls are talking about.

Hana watched on warily. This girl.. Somehow, she seemed dangerous. The kunoichi could feel the heavy atmosphere, and she knew she wasn't the only one contributing toward it. If all that shinobi way of life taught her anything, it taught her one thing -- Appearances can be deceiving. Even so, the way she spoke startled her a little. It felt so odd, with her cheery voice conflicting with the instincts of danger that Tsubame's presence was giving her.

Crossing her arms, Hana held her head up a little higher with a pretentious expression on her features. "That's not what I'm worried about," she said in reply to the bespectacled girl's reference to Seth. While it was true if she were interested in Seth that it'd cause problems, her main worry was the reverse. After all, she'd be playing a losing game if the boy had his heart set out on someone else.

Now, she couldn't control everyone he met. The best she could do was to get women who could lure him in with their looks to back off. Despite that, she couldn't help but worry that he'd fall for someone else and all her effort would have been for nothing. Those thoughts aside, it was interesting to find that the girl knew what she was thinking.

Perhaps it was just common sense after witnessing the previous events, or maybe it was more than that. Though something told Hana her roommate's perceptive skills were something to watch out for, even if she was overreacting. It was better to be safe than sorry, they always say.

Hana keeps silent as the girl begins unpacking. Her eyes watch her every move, like a hawk. There was nothing suspicious among her belongings although that stack of documents were intriguing. Where had she gone to begin with? She was gone for quite awhile. Well, whatever. It didn't affect her, so what was it her business to ask?

The girl spoke again. Was that.. hidden sarcasm? Her mind wanders to the plants that lay dying around the dorm. Ah, yes. She was probably mad about that. Probably. It wasn't her fault they were dead. It wasn't her responsibility to keep them alive, nor was she asked to water them. Not that she'd honor that request.

"I moved in about a month ago," Hana replied, breaking her gaze off Tsubame and sitting back down on the couch, leaning her arms on the back of the piece of furniture. "If you were referring to how long Seth's been here then.. not long." She crossed her right leg over her left one and looked back at the orange-brown haired girl. "Tsu, was it? My name is Nakamura Hana."

"Mhm, Hana-chi is it? It's a nice name~" The pretense continues. Tsubame, before Hana has even given approval, has already put a nickname to be associated to her name. Just what a typical, cheerful, innocence, silly girl would do, befriend each and every single person out there that ever comes her way, first thing first, with a nickname of sort.

But she knows that, by the way that the interaction has moved, that they both are not your-typical-girl. They both seem to have something hidden underneath.

Tsubame knows very well what she is hiding, and why she is hiding what she is hiding, but for this girl?

She merely laughs a little inside. At least she did spend time, immediately after she got the name of Hana Nakamura, to look up this woman. Not much really struck out to her in terms of a threat to her life, she concluded after her long, long, analysis of Hana herself. Others? She didn't care enough to remember. Something about her being from some sort of distinct family history, or something. Well, samurais, ninjas, knights, nobles, assassins, rich people, whatever. Something distinct like that. Was she a rich daughter? Or was her family from a samuraihood? Tsubame didn't even bother to remember anymore. She has seen too much of these profiles to actually care.

… Unless someone has paid her a high enough sum to actually research the woman, or if she has to spend some time to re-evaluate the threat that this woman poses to her, she'd not bother about finding out about this woman's secret at all.

Of course, if this woman managed to push too much of Tsubame's button, that's another story.

"Figured as much~ Being hospitalized for a month does render a person senseless about various things~" Well, that was more information that she has gotten out from one mere question. The bright smile continues to stick on Tsubame's face, as if someone has super-glued it onto her as a standard expression. "Tsu was actually wondering why a cutie like Seth-kun would be in her room, anyway."

Tsubame knew very well that, given the volume that the girls were speaking between themselves, it will only be natural that Seth, who merely went to the kitchen, would hear each and every world of theirs very well.

And this is also when the girl's sarcasm undertone plays up a notch, under her superficial personality.

"But it makes sense now that I see my roommate." The girl's eyes turns a little from the original, cute glance to a more mischievous, sly glare- which, oddly, only would normally remind people of a cute, sly prankster girl- and says,

"You're in the heat, aren't you~? Sorry for disturbing, neh~"

Even though she was saying that, there was not one bit of sorry in the undertone that Tsubame has expressed it in. While Seth may not sense it, due to its cheerfulness, there is a rather high possibility that Hana can hear it.

Hana.. chi.. ? That nickname was ridiculous. Giving people nicknames to strangers.. Wasn't that something a stupidly outrageous and ignorant person would do? Like those annoying girls with their naive charming smiles and their innocent upbeat attitude.. It really pissed Hana off. She may have been posing as a girl like that but.. even she had her limits. As much as she would've liked to shoot her mouth off at this ridiculous nickname Tsubame had appointed her, she kept her mouth shut.

She knew very well that Seth was peering out from the kitchen's doorway, trying to listen in on them. Detecting presences was one of the many talents Hana had picked up as a kunoichi. So it was all in her best interests as she simply smiled and pretended all was well. "Hospitalized?" she repeated in a shocked tone, widening her eyes with a hand to her mouth to imitate concern. "Are you alright now? It would be a shame if something were to happen to you.." The ends of her mouth curled slightly, a slight provocation.

Matching Tsubame's bright smile as if she were a mirror, she questioned in a calm voice, "Cutie? What happened to not being your type?" While the anger levels were slowly starting to rise behind her facade, the Floramancer's last remarks were even more of a cause for her to blow up. However, it was important for her to keep her cool. If she didn't, she'd lose this.. this situation which had somehow warped into a game.

"You've got it all wrong," she laughed, running her fingers through her hair, "I wouldn't be so discourteous as to engage in such lewd acts in our dorm while my roommate is away~ After all, they have love hotels for that, don't they? .. Nante ne!" She giggled lightly before looking up to meet Tsubame's eyes with the same mischievous, sly glare in return for earlier. "Though next time you go away, I'd get someone to water those poor plants.."

The eyes of Tsubame turned a little cold for a second, when she hears that Hana actually mentioned that "it would be a shame". She knows for a fact, as far as what's going on right now, that Hana actually wishes that she never comes back. It'd be more of a shame if something doesn't happen to her.

However, this did not show up in her face at all, either. Instead, the girl continues her slightly more devious grin, and replies, "Ara, thanks~ I've always been a lucky and healthy person though, so I am not too worried~"

Tsubame is a master in concealing whatever she is thinking about, and she knows it all too well. She knows that this cold glare is a slight slip of information on her real side that she is giving, but at least, if this girl is smart enough to see it, would see that she is not only devious and has another side, and that other side could potentially be dangerous, too. If this woman wants to start something, she'd have to at least wait for Seth to be gone first. Which, to be honest, she doesn't think it happening any time soon.

She then proceeds to press her index finger upon her lower lips, and puts up a rather thoughtful look. "But is he no~? I mean, while he is not my style, I do know the cuties from the nots~" The girl then proceeds to look at Hana again, dropping her finger and shows Hana her same ol' innocent smile, "Besides, even though he's a big bully, he's rather attractive when he wants to be serious~"

She is pushing this girl's buttons.

She wants this girl to show her true face. After all, this is going to be hard to have both people playing the facade game from this points onwards if they are to live together. More like, regardless of how much they'd like to prevent this, a huge fight will happen regardless, so why not erupt now than later?

Besides, whoever loses this game of tolerance right now, is probably going to be the person who is being framed as the "villain" side for the rest of the time they have together in this room. As much as Tsubame doesn't like being the cute and innocent victim, this is not a bad quality to have on her profile to actually hide under the radar. The more contrary between her outer and inner image, the better.

The girl merely replies with her devious, questioning smile, until the point where the woman mentioned her plants. At that point, she shifts a little, and continues to smile on, as if the comment flew pass her like a feather.

"Ah, about those plants, eh? I think my friend just forgot to come and water them, so~" The girl says, pulling her legs closer to her chest, and enclosing them close with her arms, her fingers crisscross in front of her knees, and she turns her head towards the now-dead plants. "It's just a small hobby of mine. I'll just have to restart~" Her voice still naturally cheerful. "I expect no~thing from you, at all." Again, sarcastic undertone and double meaning at work.

However, if Seth actually remembers Tsubame from the tournament, he'd realize that this is not some truthful speech from Tsubame at all. Is this out of manners that she is replying in? Or is this something else?
