It was winter and it seems that today was a bit colder than usual plus it was a bored day for him, so he decided to go somewhere in Hyakuji and because he was curious how's the shrine in Hyakuji, so he went to there with a scarf on. Then when he reached to the shrine, Haru was whistling when he saw the shrine, after a long way to come here, actually not that long, it's just Haru who overthink it. He was walking to the shrine, it seemed that the shrine had been there for ages, he then scanned the whole area in the shrine, but no one there. "Really.. Today sure is a really calm day.. hm.. I wonder is there someone who take care the shrine.." Haru then sighed.

He couldn't find a person in there, then Haru wanted to use his power to make sure if there was no one there, but when he wanted to do that, he remembered that if he too often used his power, it might be ended like on the hill in Hyakuji. So he decided to not use his power this time. He then walked until he reached to the front of shrine. Haru then sighed heavily and put his hands on his pocket.

"What a boring day... I hope something strange happen today.." He then walked slowly to the side of the shrine, he was searching for a tree so he could slept calmly right there. Then he found a quite big tree, not as big as the tree on the hill of course, it's just like the ordinary tree but a bit larger. "Hm.. It's a quite odd tree.." He said while he put his body down to tree and close his eyes slowly.

So, this was the shrine he had heard about. Haruma was not much of a religious man. Mainly due to being raised in a lab, and his parents being athiests, he never knew much about religion and spirituality. But still, he had the feeling that a shrine would be a nice place to relax. A place were people could go to and feel at peace, and to be alone. And both were things Haruma wanted right now.

Upon arriving, he looked around, failing to notice anybody in the area. Good, he was all alone here. He looked up at the shrine before him, not exactly sure what to do now. So, he simply sat down, looking up at the thing.

Asher tucked his hands a little deeper into the pockets of his black overcoat, shivering slightly against the wintery chill. The grey-and-black plaid scarf wrapped around his neck helped, but Asher was never one for the cold temperatures... He preferred the warmth of an Austrian summer. Still, there was something to be said for the scenic beauty of Hyakuji. He hadn't been there long, but it was growing on him quickly.

He wasn't going anywhere particular that evening -- he had just set out to take a walk, as he often did, reflection on a few verses from the Scriptures in hopes of realizing a new spell or technique. After awhile, he had become almost oblivious to his surroundings, simply walking along whatever path he happened to cross, until he came to the local shrine. As he stepped up onto the shrine's grounds, he looked it over with a sincere curiosity. It was a far cry from the elaborate, Gothic-style cathedrals he was used to at home with his Paladin order; this was simple, outdoors, and felt very foreign to Asher.

So this is what a Japanese shrine looks like. It seems so... Aesthetically lacking.

As he continued to walk closer to the shrine, he noticed Haruma sitting there, seemingly just gazing up at the Shrine. Hands still dipped into his pockets, Asher walked alongisde Haruma, coming to a stop next to him. Unaware of the other man's presence over by the tree, he offered a simple statement as a greeting to Haruma.

"Bit of a cold evening to be sitting outside alone, wouldn't you say?"

"yaawn" Haru yawned away while he still closed his eyes. knowing it was winter, maybe if he overslept right there, he would be frozen and dying because of it. and he deserve to be call an idot guy. really. sleeping on the outside in the winter!? geez, didn't have any briliant idea?

Haru then slowly open his eyes, and scratched his head. "geez, today is really a bored day, eh?" Haru sighed, and looked up to the evening sky. staring on the sky, he even didn't know if there's already someone who came to the shrine, thanks to the headphone he had on, he couldn't hear clearly what noise surround him.

Haru then sighed, still sat down under the tree, looking to the skies, and daydreaming wished that something strange happen in his life today. Then after awhile he stared at the skies, he changed his sight to his own iPod, and it seems that the battery would be empty in no time. "It seems, my boreness will become more bored."

"Bit of a cold evening to be sitting outside alone, wouldn't you say?"

The timid young man let out a yelp at the person suddenly appearing by his side. The thing about Haruma, was that it was really easy for someone to sneak up on him. Although seeing as it was someone from his school, though he only saw him briefly, he realxed a little. Sure, he was still a stranger to him, but he felt better at least seeing him once, than him being a complete stranger.

"I-It's ok. I-I'm used to the cold." And the intense heat, and electricity, and everything else his parents had used to try and coax mutations out of him. The thought made him shudder. Still, sitting quietly in the cold was a nice change of pace actually. Slowly, he stood up.

"D-Did you come to pray here? Sorry if I'm causing any trouble. I only came to get some peace and quiet. I-If I'm in the way I can always leave." Better to leave rather than cause trouble. That was Haruma's way of life. Not really one to stand up for himself really. Whenever things got heated...well...bad things happened.

((Alive! Apologies for the unannounced absence due to bubonic plague. Mea culpa.))

Asher simply smiled slightly, dipping his head down a bit and breathing warmth into his scarf. The guy seemed kind of... Nervous. Oddly so, for someone just bumping into someone at a shrine. He wasn't sure if his stuttered speech was from the cold, or from a particular defect --but he figured it was better just not to approach that topic.

"Oh no, it's fine, really," he replied, turning his head briefly to look at Haruma, "This place is open to everyone, right? Besides, when it comes to praying, this isn't exactly my kind of spot... I'm used to something a little more elaborate, a little more ceremonial... And a lot warmer, come to think of it."

As Haruma rose up to stand, Asher turned himself just slightly toward him, to seem a bit more engaged and approachable.

"Just taking a little time to think to yourself out here?"

"GREAT!!" Haru was shouting in his mind when His iPod died! Haru then sighed "Alright, it's death.." Haru said while he put his iPod on his pocket and stood up, looking around, looking to the back and now to the up tree. when he turned his head up, he saw a branch, the branch wasn't so big, but Haru thought maybe that branch could hold his weight for a while.

So, Haru turned his body to the tree and decided to climb it. Haru then climbed the tree and slowly to the branch, "alright!" he said to himself, it seems that his prediction about that branch could hold his weight was true, he was a thin boy after all. Haru then raised his hand and yawned again, "Hm.. What a boring day..." He mumbled as he tried to put his body down on the branch. but he heard something cracking,

crack..

"Eh?" it was a small sound, so he wasn't so sure if he was right, Haru then shook his head, ignored the cracking things that maybe it was just him.

Crack!

"What the?" He heard it again, so he quickly scanned the branch if it was still ok? but when he scanned it, it was fine. the branch still really good, really clean. It seems that there weren't any crack in that branch. So Haru ignored it again and back to close his eyes.

CRACK!!!

"G-GWAAAH!!" He shouted when the branch was broken, Haru was really surprised, and he fell down with the tree branch up him followed with a big BUMP! when he fell to the ground. "AWWW" he shouted in pain when the tree branch fell down to his body.

Good. He hadn't done anything to offend this person. It seemed he wasn't really into praying in shrines either. Maybe he was catholic or something? He did speak of grander places right.

"Y-Yes. I-I came here to have some time alone. I've only come here recently. J-just enrolled only a day or so ago. I'm not sure how I can deal with all these strange people..." Funny how he was referring to them as strange, when he was probably the biggest freak in the bunch. But he couldn't tell anyone that. He's be an outcast, or worst.

Still, this person seemed nice, and not in the phony "I'm going to stick a needle in you" kind of way either. "S-So, what brings you out here?" Suddenly, there was a loud series of cracks, followed by a yell and the sound of something, or someone, falling from a great hight, followed by a yell of pain. Haruma couldn't help but jump in surprise, and a little bit of fear.

"W-What was that?"

"Another brand new student then, I see?"

Enrollment at this school must have been pretty strong -- Asher felt like he was constantly meeting completely new, or at least relatively new, students. He was grateful for it, though, as it was always nice to run into people who were in a similar position to his. They had all seemed so friendly, too.

"It can be a bit jarring I suppose, growing accustomed to being surrounded by people with all kinds of strange powers... But we're all alike in that area, right? So it shouldn't be to difficult to--"

In mid-sentence, he was taken aback by the sudden sound of something loudly cracking and falling. Turning sharply, he raised his fists on instinct, as if expecting someone to be trying to jump him.

"Who's there?!" he called loudly.

"aw!" Haru shouted again "It's hurt! you stupid branch!" said Haru while he still tried to get the branch away from his body. now.. Haru wanted something weird happen, right? so, his wish was fullfiled and there you go. Something weird was happening! Haru then gave up, he couldn't get the branch away from his body. Haru then sighed and rest his head on the ground, just hoping someone would come before he died because of the cold. Haru then raised his hands up to his head and looked to the sky depressed. "First.. My iPod.. and now this.. great!" he shouted in his mind.

Until he heard someone shouted from the front of the shrine, it seemed that that boy heard him falling down and was kinda surprised, Haru thought. "Great!" He thought when someone shouted. "Oooiii! Who are you??" He asked a stupid question, instead of asking to help him out, he asked who was that person? and before the person could answer Haru's question, haru asked again in louder voice "Are you okay? Are you surprised because of me?" another stupid question came out from his mouth. geez... While Haru was waiting for the person answered his question, Haru then tried to looked to the front of the shrine, but he couldn't, he tried from the side to the side, but still the result was zero, The branch pissed Haru off because that branch didn't allow Haru to look away to the front of the shrine. and because of that! Haru sighed a bit. and just wait for the person came or at least answered him.

Though still a bit afraid, Haruma made his way towards the front of the shrine, catching sight of the person who was now pinned underneath a large tree branch. He didn't seem to look like a bad person or anything. But why was he up in a tree anyway? Just hanging around.

The thying, androgonous young man made his way over, trying to pull the branch off of him. Not much luck though, considering he had the physical strength of a little girl (no offense to all little girls out there). If he...no...one, he couldn't control it, and two, he really, really didn't want to. He just kept on trying to shift the branch. Maybe that other person would come and help to.

Training to be a demon-slaying Paladin made a kid a bit paranoid, it seemed. What Asher had first assumed to be an ambushing attacker was really just another person falling from a tree and getting stuck under a branch.

"You gave us quite a startle there," he said, walking over toward the pinned young man, "Hanging out in trees can be a bit dangerous, you know... You really should be careful."

He took a hold of the branch at one end, squatting low and then standing up to try to pull it off to the side. Alone, he wouldn't have been able to do it, but with two guys working on it, the branch was lifted slowly and tossed safely aside.

"Are you alright? That was a long fall and a mean branch..."

"Aw aw, easy there guys.. hehe" Haru said while he held down his pain when the two other boys tried themselves to lift up the tree. seeing them like that, Haru then decided to help them too, so he tried to pushed the tree from below, even it was hurt, Haru still help them with some pushed in the branch so that's, "Guys, in 3, okay?" He said to the other boys, giving them signal to put all of their strenght in-- "3.. 2... and..." Haru stopped as he take a deep breath then "1!" He shouted as he pushed up the branch while the others two boys were lifting up it to the side. And yeah! the branch was gone from Haru's body! and now he was free! freedom!!

Haru then slowly get his body up to a sitting position while his hand rubbed his stomach. "ehehe, sorry for the trouble guys! and thanks!" Haru said to them "And yeah, I know hanging out in trees can be a bit dangerous, but it's just, I'm really enjoying it. hahaha" Haru laughed as he raised his other hand to the back of his head and then turned his head upwards to where he was falling. His body still in pain because of that branch, It was really hurt. "Hehe, yeah, I'm okay! Thanks!" Haru nodded to the other boy who was asking him. "Actually, This is never happening when I'm hanging out on the tree.. Hrm.. Maybe today is my bad day afterall.. btw! you guys, are your hands alright?" He smiled as he looked at to the other boys.
