Celia sighs, as she opens up a book on the history of World War II, having been assigned it as reading homework. Why on the roof? Why not? It was high up, there was a good view... and the girl was pretty much nuttier than a fruitcake. Paying little detail to the surrounding area, she turned to the first page. She wasn't too interested in reading. Unless it started mentioning Indiana Jones's contribution to stopping the Nazis, her interest in the material, best case scenario, would be mild. And even she knew that Indiana Jones wasn't real. Regardless, the girl wouldn't miss a detail in the book. Enhanced perception wouldn't help her here, the words were printed crystal clear in the book. It might have helped her spot the tiny, fine print in some unsavory contract, but not here. "Let's see... A Brief History of World War II, Chapter 1..." she muttered. Edited by Tzauri, Dec 2 2011, 03:43 PM.

Thianbang was minding her own business flying through the sky when she saw some girl reading a book on the rooftop, having nothing better to do, she flies towards the girl, and hear her muttering something about world war two. "Ah, reading Gertrud Barkhorn's famous work I see. So, Literature home work?" She remarked, "Hi, I am SiongKoan ThianBang, but you can call me either ThianBang Chan or Yume-Chan." And then she smiled. "Come to think about it, a lot of us are called Yume-Chan~" Referring to two of her other friends. Edited by Kounoko, Dec 2 2011, 04:03 PM.

"Gertrud Barkhorn? Who is..." she thought. "Well... it is for literature classes... but it's for a 'comparative literature' thing. One half of the class reads what happened from the textbooks, the other is from autobiographies from the people who were in those battles, and we're supposed to compare them in class later. I got stuck with the actual history." Celia told her "Anyways, I'm Celia Stark, World's Greatest Treasure Huntress." |

"What?" Asked a puzzled Thianbang, "In that cause, why are you reading a alternate history fantasy instead of the real history?" Remarked Thianbang, referring to WW2 as fiction. |

"Alternate history?" she asked. "Did I pick up some book that asks 'what if...'" she thought. Celia quickly flipped through the book. She looks for references to a D-Day failure, to an Axis victory, to if someone assassinated Hitler, to a land invasion of Imperial Japan, to using the atom bomb on Nazi Germany, and even to a Nazi zombie apocalypse. She, of course, finds nothing. "Uh... I didn't see any 'what if' question answered or anything like that." she asked "Me thinks you've mistaken this for another book." |

"Yeah." Thianbang answered the other girl. Then the other girl starts flipping threw the book and commented that Thianbang has mistaken it for another book. "Nope, I am not mistaken." Said the witch,"What you are reading is World War Two, right? That novel about a fantasy war whereby the different nations of mankind fights each other around sixty years ago, right?" |

"I've heard of holocaust deniers... but World War II deniers?" she thought. Celia sighed. She actually knew that she, herself was insane. She'd be told this by classmates back home numerous times. She didn't personally care... being sane sounded absolutely boring... still, Celia had a good grasp of history. One doesn't become a successful treasure huntress without either being, or becoming well versed in it. But this girl seemed to be leagues ahead of her in terms of crazy. "No... I'm pretty sure World War II actually happened." she mentioned "My neighbor across the street back home fought in it, in fact. He used to tell me all the time about it." |

"Ah! I see." exclaimed Thianbang, "Another one whom have been con by the conspiracy of the world's government. You see, World War two never happened, it was just a Novel written by Gertrud Barkhorn that after gaining popularity, world leaders decides to rewrite history books and use it as real history to cover what really happened during that time, and use Hypnotization to make people believed that they have fought in such a war."

"World government?" she thought. Celia was crazy, but she wasn't a conspiracy theorist. "Sorry, but your theory sounds about as structured as the Great Arabian Sand Tower... Well, the Great Arabian Sand Tower when it's not the new moon." she mentioned "I should know, I found it." The Arabian Sand Tower was only a huge pile of sand any time but during the new moon, at which time, every night, it would become a huge tower of sand, with beautiful corridors and rooms. There weren't many traps, though there had been puzzles. It was one of her favorite expeditions, well worth the research, and wandering through a hot desert for hours on end... Ah, memories. "You have any proof?" she asked. |

" Great Arabian Sand Tower?" Thianbang started at the other girl, with a blank look, "What's that?" "Well, I don't have any proof at the moment." TB acknowledged "When governments of the world come together in a large conspiracy, they are rather good at removing all evident of the true. However, I have two animated documentaries of what really happened during that time, an alien invasion that killed many people, nearly destroyed many nations and was dfeated by united the powers of witches all around the world. See all about it yourself!" Said the witch as she took out two set of DVDs and passed it to the other girl. The two DVD sets are, naturally, the first and second season of the Strike Witches anime. "See the true history of what happened sixty years ago for yourself! Be awed by the Truth!" TB exclaimed, with a cheerful, gentle, friendly, polite and very dumb looking smile. "The Great Arabian Sand Tower is a tower in the middle of the desert in the middle east. During nights with a full moon, however, it shapes itself into a beautiful tower made of sand. It had treasure in the top... but it turns out that even if you take it out, the treasure turns to sand when it's not the new moon too." she told her "I have to admit though, it was one of my favorite treasure hunts, even if I didn't make a profit off it." She then listens to Thianbang's 'proof'. "Animated documentaries?" she thought. She looks at the front of the DVDs before handing them back. "That looks like an anime show, not a documentary." she mentioned "Look, just because it's on TV doesn't mean it's real. For example, as much as I'd like Indiana Jones to have been a real person, so I could get his autograph, it doesn't work that way." "She's crazier than I am..." she thought. Celia had been told many times over her life that she was completely insane. Functional, but insane. She'd accepted it as fact, and had stopped being bothered by such accusations. With her, however, she found herself more playing the role of the skeptic and the sane girl, roles she was in no way accustomed to playing. It was awkward, to say the least. |

"That sounds cool!" Responded TB to the girl's adventure. "Well, it's naturally an anime, liked I said, it's an Animated Documentary. You can also called it an Documental Anime!" The cute Shojo witch insisted and smiled, just like the brain dead moron she is. "What do you mean by Indiana Jones isn't real! I met him last year and got his autograph! See!" Was her reply, showing the other girl a page on notebook with an autograph that reads 'Harrison Ford' on it. "See? He's real!" Ok, TB's English has never been very good, she's only good in Japanese and Chinese. Edited by Kounoko, Dec 8 2011, 03:50 PM.

"Ooh! A Harrison Ford autograph, nice!" she says "But I meant Indiana Jones, not the guy who plays him." She then gets back to the conversation. "But I still don't believe you. You're going to have to get more evidence than that." she tells her "But, if anywhere is a good place to start looking for evidence, it's here at Hyakuji. After all, with all the magic and stuff around this place, it's as good a place as any." |

"Harrison Ford?" Said TB with a stunned and blank look,"Who on Earth is that?" The witch asked, "Play him? You mean there are imposer impersonating Indiana Jones? Oh, that sounds bad..." The confused witch asked. "Why wouldn't you believe me?" The witch stared at the adventure girl with tears in her eyes, "Am I so untrustworthy?" She weep, "I am really telling the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth. I vow to heaven on this! Please at least watch the Animated Documentaries." She requested, still with tears in her eyes. Like a puppy dog, only much dumber then any dog with an undamaged head will ever be. Edited by Kounoko, Dec 8 2011, 04:07 PM.

Celia sighs. She'd be accused of lying more than once. Well, Celia wasn't accusing her of lying so much as being wrong. "No, it's that Indiana Jones is a fictional character. Harrison Ford just plays him." she told her "Let me put it this way, under your theory about World War II being a cover up, the events of the Indiana Jones movies couldn't have happened, because the Nazis were involved. Some stories are just that, stories. I found that out, I tried to find El Dorado on more than one visit to South America, but no dice. I chased a fair bit of rumors and legends. Maybe it really exists, but I probably would have found it if it exists, and nothing came up on any of my searches." Obviously, her gut nagged her as the crazier of the two girls started to cry. She really didn't like to see other girls cry. Ok, few people liked to see anyone cry. So she figured it be ok, at the very least, the two shows would provide a way to kill an afternoon or two. "Fine, I guess I can watch it." she explains, taking the disks "But just so we're clear on this, Why do you think this event was true rather than World War II?"
