One does not simply eat one packet of mee goreng
Despite his eagerness to get to the final stage, he was forced to stop in his track as the tower itself rumbled, shook, and was ultimately ripped apart as the great abomination Cthulhu him(?)self rose from the infinitesimal darkness from down below, the behemoth tearing and splitting apart the tower, sending the remains flying across the island and seas, including the unfortunate Seth.

At the very least it did one good thing, snapping V out of his mad little reverie, enabling Seth to reclaim control of his own body after countless attempts to do so. "Dammit, FINALLY!" He yelled, though admittedly it seemed too late as he was flying across the air-

DIVINE FESTIVAL:
'EXPANDED ONBASHIRA'
"YAMA NO KI!!!"

It wasn't there moments before. The gigantic hexagonal tree log appeared out of nowhere, intercepting his parabolic trajectory towards sea and death. Of course, he probably could have planned it better so as not to have his life saved include slamming hard into the log and knocking the air out of him. "Gah... that... went well..." He muttered, clambering onto the floating tree log in the sky. "V, what the hell was that about?! Do you seriously want to get all of us killed?!"

I... I dunno... I just... lost control... You can't really blame him now, can you? V's already volatile enough as he is, and combining it with the maddening effect of... practically everything around them, anyone would go nuts. "No matter... but... damn that thing is humongous..."

"For crying out loud, couldn't they at least give us a chance to get to the next floor?" Shad howled in frustration, soaring through the air on a chunk of tower flooring. Already, he had shifted Excalibur to sword form, planted the tip down hard into the rock, tightening his grip to prevent him from falling off, placing both feet on the surface with knees bracing for impact. Thankfully, the drop was quick and swift, landing him over in one of the ugly fish-head fountain mouths by the right wall with a sudden splash.

"Ugh...." He mumbled, disoriented with his knees buckling and immediately let go of his breakfast into the water, his very body shaking from both the crash and the sudden pain in his head (from colliding with the tip of the fish-head's mouth and the massive roar). Still, other than a bunch of bruises on his hands and legs, and a scrape on his forehead, he couldn't tell if he was injured further (unless he had a concussion and didn't know it). His soul weapon was also activated, meaning that Cthulhu may decide to target him first.

'What the heck happened? One second we were rushing up the stairs, the next I'm sent flying without any time to guard.' Shad thought, attempting to measure the distance between the fish head fountain and one of the nearby rising bridges that was halfway demolished by the tower's destruction. Pulling Excalibur out of the piece of rock, he backed up a little with the lime-green water drenching his legs. "You ready, Excalibur? We're going to jump onto that halfway broken bridge nearby and then attempt to get up close."

As soon as Hiro spoke, Ryo and Sho averted their eyes. "Looks like we are out of options,"he said. They couldn't fight an opponent blind. He drew Model S out of his pocket. "I need your help to see without eyes, my friend,"he said to the Biometal. "BIOMERGE ACTIVATE!"he shouted as a white light erupted from the Biometal. It wrapped around Ryo and formed blue armor. "Biomerge successful,"Shadowman said. He could now sense the elder god's form. It was truly grotesque and hideous. This was fight was going to be ugly. (rim shot)

Adam let out a whistle as he looked at the massive form of Cthulhu shrouded in the smoke from the destruction of the tower. ”Looks like sleeping beauty woke up, could have used a few more millennia of beauty rest if you ask me.” Adam said with a confident smirk. There was no doubt in his mind that Arcadia would bring this beast down, the only question was how many of them would be left afterwards. Adam did not let that question linger in his mind, to do so would only let doubt take root and that would only serve to harm their efforts. No right now Adam chose to focus on helping to bring Cthulhu down that was all that mattered.

Closing his good eye on Hiro’s order not to look at the monster directly, Adam used his eye patch to gaze on the beast’s aura instead. Cthulhu aura lit him up like a Christmas, a very large evil Christmas tree with what looked to be a squid for a head. “Gun mode” The broad sword Adam held disappeared in a flash and was replaced by by to silver .454 Casull caliber style handguns. With a gun in each hand Adam took aim and moments later flash of light erupted from each gun as bolts of holy energy were ejected from their barrels one after another. The shots would pierce the smoke on a path towards Cthulhu’s abbs if you could call them that.

Damon felt sick. He felt legitimately sick with fear. He knew they were fighting a god but this right now, it put everything into perspective. The tower they were breaking into was demolished like a toy, Damon plummeting to the ground. He attempted to right himself in midair as black wings formed on his back, a trick he hadn't used in ages, as he slowed his descent back to the ground. Hiro's warning didn't fall on deaf ears as Damon closed his eyes, pointing towards where the massive beast was rising.

"DARK MAGICIAN! ATTACK!" He yelled out as he landed, his Persona appearing behind him and hovering in midair as it aimed it's staff at the beast and fired off a burst of dark energy. Damon was going to need a bit, dealing with Chizu's attackers and the wing formation had taken away more of his power than he wanted.

Darkness Gauge: 3/16 ((-3 (Medium Use) +2 Regen))

~*~*~

Meglumar yelled out in surprise before his persona formed in midair and grabbed him and Star, before landing to the ground with a thud, doing it's best to rescue the half nymph and his girlfriend. "By all that is holy..." Meglumar muttered out as the tower crumbled before them and some...THING rose up. This was it!

Meglumar aimed his left hand to the rising beast, knowing full well he had to act NOW. This thing needed to be stopped before they had to lay eyes on it, before they had to directly aim at it to slay it. A burst of explosive fire shot out towards the rising elder god, as Gallant aimed his shield towards the beast and let loose with it's Final Elysion, a surging beam of power.

Otoha's noise-cancelling chant was suddenly interrupted by the groan of the Elder God causing the entire tower around them to collapse and violently explode outwards. Thankfully for Hotaru, she was holding on to Otoha, so she wasn't thrown off.

The bad news was that they were BOTH thrown off and were now flying in the air.
"Oh God it feels like I've been launched into the sky thanks to a giant," Otoha gasped as she held on to her sister for dear life.
"This isn't the time for that kind of joke! He's awakened!" Hotaru yelled as she kept her eyes closed. "Don't look directly at him!"
"Well shit, how am I supposed to fight him then!? Yell at him to death!?" the troll retorted as she too closed her eyes and felt herself descend due to gravity.
"I don't know, but we have to do something now!"

With that, something shimmered in front of them as they fell, something that emanated from Hotaru's desire to protect her sister - it was her Soul Weapon, the Yata no Kagami!

All eight shields spun around them before forming a barrier before them, breaking small rocks and deflecting bigger ones that got in their way. Still, that didn't answer the question of how to get out of the way of getting eaten by the Elder God...
"Hotaru... is that..."
"I... I don't know how long I can hold it!" Hotaru gasped. "If you're planning on doing something, do it now!"

Otoha grit her teeth as she saw the outline of the Elder God just outside the border of Hotaru's shields. It's not like they could fly - but what if she decided to use her mouth laser to deflect them out of the way? It was just something she used for fun, but as something more practical... that would need a bit more focus.

Hmmm... focus, Otoha. Maybe she's right. I could... make a loud shout that, with enough force, propel us out of the way of this guy's maw!... But what do I say? Wait, do I even need to say something for it to work? No, it's gotta be something dramatic, meaningful... something with enough force to upset our current balance and push us out of the way!
"ONEE-CHAN! DO SOMETHING, PLEASE!"
"OH, FINE, FUCK IT THEN!"
With a deep breath, Otoha let out a powerful shout-

"FUS RO DAH!"
The force of the recoil from her shout launched both sisters away from the Elder God, sending both of them spinning and tumbling towards where Damon landed. The injury from such a launch could have caused a bit of injury if not for Otoha grabbing hold of one of Hotaru's shields and using it as a guard as they skid to a halt.

"Owowowow my arm," Otoha groaned as she picked herself and Hotaru up. Despite her super strength, the fall was quite a ways up, and it was only the power and direction of her shout that buffered the fall somewhat and kept her from outright breaking her arm. Still, it was bruised quite badly from the impact.
"Onee-chan! Are you allright!?"
"Yeah, just direct me to the nearest medic and I should be fine," Otoha chuckled through gritted teeth. "I can't believe that worked!"
"... I can't believe it either. Was that... something you came up with?" Hotaru asked.
"I wish I knew," she said as she dropped the shield and held her hurt arm for a few moments. "I need to rest for a bit, that was... kind of painful, ehehehe."

Hotaru immediately erected a shield defense between herself, Otoha, and Damon. "This is bad - he's already out! How are we supposed to fight him if we can't even look at him directly!?" she groaned.

"HEADS UP!" Lavender shouted as at the end of emptying her entire clip into the giant fish-man's head, before caving its skull in with a single, turbo charged punch from Revolver Knuckle, splitting Dagon's head open and spilling its alien blood and brain matter. This was quickly followed-up with a double-team surprise from Ikki and Adam as the two of them slashed at Dagon's legs, taking the giant fish-man down and setting it up for a massive ki blast courtesy of Bocky, further maiming Dagon as it hit squarely in the neck. Lavender simply looked solemnly, pumping her fist before retrieving a spare ammo clip and reloading her MP7A1.

"Sheesh, you just don't know when to give up don't ya?" Lavender spat in disgust as Dagon began to rise once more, its wounds regenerating albeit somewhat slower this time. And it was at this point that Hiro felt that enough was enough, as the Arcadia leader began his signature chant for the Dragon Slave, unleashing the incredibly destructive spell at the regenerating Dagon, utterly consuming its body in an awe-inspiring explosion of arcane energy.

"Let's see you regenerate from this," Lavender thought as it appeared that the blast had utterly vaporized whatever was left of Dagon. Nodding grimly, Lavender raised her hand to signal to team that had been left behind to handle Dagon to move out and make rendevous with the tower team... until it started again. "AGAIN!?" Lavender thought as she dropped to her knees, head in hands as that infernal groan issued forth again from the tower, while the impossible happened - from seemingly out of nothing, Dagon began regenerating. "What does it take to make dory dick stay down anyways!?" the aeromancer was finding the whole scene hard to believe. Twice they'd mauled Dagon with their best attacks, and Hiro even hit him with the magical equivalent of a M.O.A.B. - but the bugger took it all and kept on coming.

And it was at this point that Durandal suddenly flew out from Ikki's grasp and once more appeared in his true form. "It's very likely," Durandal spoke in a regal tone, "That Dagon will continue to regenerate as long as Cthulhu's influence remains." So Dagon's existence was tied in to Cthulhu's? So as long as the Big C remains active, no weapon in existence could make Dagon stay down for any prolonged period of time. That being said, Durandal removed the massive shield from his back, raising it triumphantly. "You should all go on ahead," Durandal spoke with a determined air to his voice, "Stopping Cthulhu will end everything. I'll keep this one busy. No foe can overcome Durandal's defense!"

"You are a noble warrior indeed... you have my undying respect, Durandal-sama," Lavender replied after Hiro, pausing briefly to salute Durandal before taking off after Hiro.

"I just don't feel... so good..." Selene remarked as she followed the others as they made their way deeper into the tower. Even with Otoha working to negate the maddening chant of the cultists, simply proceeding further into the accursed place filled the corporate heiress with a palpable sense of dread. Before the group could ascend however, another unearthly roar cried out - and all hell broke loose. "Cor blimey!" Selene exclaimed as she fought to maintain her balance amid the entire structure beginning to heave and shake as the floor cracked and split open.

And they were... laughing? From the top of the tower the cultists that had been performing the ritual broke into a cackling laughter, their work completed, insanely ecstatic even as the tower's structural integrity was compromised with the re-awakening of the Great Old One, the entire structure threatening to collapse on everyone as Cthulhu stirred underneath it, breaking the tower apart. This much was clear - they need to get the hell out before the share the cultists' fate, who were disturbingly oblivious to their impending doom.

The corporate heiress scrambled as the tower collapsed, anxious to avoid getting crushed by the rain of rubble - and heeding Tsukasa-sensei's warnings - not look at the Big C directly lest the very sight drove her insane. "But how we fight something that we aren't even allowed to look at directly!?" exclaimed an exasperated corporate heiress, echoing Hotaru and Otoha's sentiments as the Valkyrie summon drew her offhand blade, keeping the smaller shards away from Selene as the armored maiden made a rapid series of circular swings with her blades, shattering smaller rocks before they could strike her summoner.

"We move, Master," the Valkyrie said in her usual monotone as she sheathed her offhand blade, passing her claymore to Selene before scooping up the corporate heiress in a bridal carry with her weapon in Selene's hands, before dodging the rain of rubble with preternatural agility, taking swift leaps that served to distance her from the abomination as Selene stared at the ground, at the shadow of Cthulhu looming over them.

"Naur, Heleg, go!" Selene commanded her soul weapon as the two gemstones floated after her and the Valkyrie, glowing with their respective orange and blue-white glows before firing (blindly) a barrage of magical heat and ice beams at the looming figure behind them.

"Then let the wind be my eyes," Lavender said after Hiro gave the warning not to look at Cthulhu directly, the aeromancer removing the plain black ribbon that held her ponytail up, letting her hair down to cascade past her shoulders to her waist, before closing her eyes and tying the strip of cloth over her eyes like a blindfold, focusing her thoughts as Lavender scanned her surroundings for sources of air pressure differences - the wing beats of the Nightgaunts, the breaths of the Arcadia and BPRD personnel, and that of Cthulhu. "Found you," Lavender commented as she pinpointed the direction that Cthulhu's breath was coming from, before cocking back her arm as if readying a punch - her immediate vicinity taking on a lavender glow as the aeromancer asserted her control over the air.

A gale soon whipped up, quickly escalating into a cyclone that wrapped around the aeromancer's body in a swirling column as a glowing lavender sphere of compressed air formed around Revolver Knuckle. With a shout, the aeromancer threw her punch, discharging a spiraling blast of air from her fist, the lavender-colored cyclone compressing into a narrow drill-like point at the very tip of her blast as the aeromancer aimed for Cthulhu's chest, estimating where his heart would be!

NICE DRIVE!
As Lucidus blindly fired arrows at Cthulhu many soared on past the beast. However, several made their marks. Burying themselves into the horrid abberant's skin green liquid oozed from the target areas, but much like Dagon these seemed to have little effect on Cthulhu. Slowly, it emerged from within the smoky ruins of the tower and came into a clear view, though one would be damned should they actually gaze fully upon his visage:

Posted Image

The mental pain on the Arcadians present would feel much like the aura Rasputin gave off, but a thousand times worse. Left unchecked it was likely the entire group would just succumb to the constant mental assault with Cthulhu having to lift a finger to defeat them. As Cthulhu continued to emerge a barrage of ranged attacks were unleashed. Holy shots from Adam's handguns while Damon and Meglumar each materialized their persona using them to send forth blasts of their own. Selene's soul weapon also joined in although several of the beams missed due to firing blindly at the target.

Unfortunately, the holy blasts seemed to have little effect at all. The blasts from Dark Magician managed to stagger the beast back some with the added support of Selene's attack while suddenly Gallant's beam blasted into Cthulhu searing into its chest and burning away much of its body. However, as the beam dissipated Cthulhu began to rapidly regenerate. Worse of all, the creature didn't make a single sound; it was as if it were entirely unphased from the every blow.

Just as the wound was about to heal completely it was suddenly torn open again by Lavender's Revolver Knuckle. The cyclone drill piercing the very center of where Gallant's blast had struck and drilling through as it pierced where the heart should be and exploded through the back sending green goop in all directions. This forced Cthulhu to lurch over leaning on what remained of the tower for support. It was angry. Everyone would be able to tell. As its body began to rapidly regenerate the wound everyone would feel a throbbing pain in their mind as its mental assault began to work double time.

"Use your Persona if you have one," Hiro called out, "They should be able to attack it just fine!" There was little more help he could give to aid the situation. Developing a means for every single person to gaze on Cthulhu safely would wipe out most of his magical energies and then there would still be the problem of it and its ilk's regeneration ability.

Just as the mental assault began to calm back to the point of its normal intensity several of the tentacles around Cthulhu's face began to flail around and without warning multiple tentacles extended rushing towards targets: one at Lavender, one each at Damon and Meglumar, one towards Selene and one at Lucidus. They were not intended to grasp or restrict their targets however. The tentacles were moving at full force with one purpose: to utterly crush their target and extinguish the life of its attackers in one blow.

This isn't going to work," Hiro mumbled in desperation, "We were too late..." His words trailed off as if in deep thought. What could they do to bypass this problem? If they took to long then soon Durandal would fall to Dagon and they would have that monster to worry about again as well. Plus there was no way to know how the B.P.R.D. was doing at the shore against the Deep Ones. Everything was tied to Cthulhu, but Cthulhu seemed unstoppable. Hiro didn't act to deflect the tentacles. It would expend more magical energy and he trusted the Fire Division at this point. He knew what he had to do.

"Sorry Hina," Hiro mumbled to himself as he raised Tyrfing and then slammed it into the ground before him. As he did this a massive and intricate spell circle emerged from the blade as its source. The edge of the circle began to glow with pale blue flames as Hiro started chanting something. Those close enough to hear his apology before starting the chant would most likely be able to easily guess the type of desperation move he was planning...

Ryo heard Hiro's apology thanks to his senses being boosted by the biometal. "Dang it! Hiro is using that spell. Model S, Terion, give me your strength so that we can end this elder god before Hiro can finish!"he said to himself. We need a big spell circle. he thought.

He turned to the girl standing next to him. "I'm going to be your guide. Follow my instructions,"he said. She nodded.

Ryo took a step back and let out a deep breath. "Per...so...na..."he said, willing his inner self out with each syllable. It felt as if a gate holding back power had opened up and Ryo felt as though his body was taken up in the flow. "Kartikeya, destroyer of vices. Here my plea. Come forth and and destroy this monstrosity!"

Haha. He rhymed.Terion thought.

A man riding on a peacock and holding a holy lance appeared over Ryo.

This is incredible! I can see 6 things at once! I can watch over our allies in the sky and on the ground, and I can look at this horrendous monster without going mad. Ryo thought.

"HIRO!!!!DON'T YOU GIVE UP ON US NOW!!!! WE'VE STILL GOT A LOT WORSE FOES TO DEAL WITH IF YOU REMEMBER WHAT THE BUTTERFLY GUY SAID!!!!!"he shouted to their despairing leader. He hoped Hiro, would listen.

"Sho. I want you to create a massive spike of stone in front of you and make it move fast and strong,"Ryo said.

"How big is massive?"Sho asked.

"Big as a boat,"he said.

Sho nodded and took in a deep breath. She swung both her arms up and from in front of her, a cruise ship made of stone erupted from the ground, hurdling towards the elder god. It would feel like the entire floor just got lower due to the fact that most of it was now on a boat....or rather part of a boat.

The attack had taken a lot of energy out of Sho and she collapsed to the floor.

They never reached the top of the tower. Without warning, the whole otherworldly building beneath rocked and crumbled before being thrown outwards as something huge emerged from beneath it. Hajime was too shocked to even scream a warning, especially when he saw the dark thing that was emerging to the surface beneath them obscured by all the falling debris.

Bringing himself out of the apathy with a shake of his head and averting his eyes to the situation he was in which was free falling dangerously to the ground with the chance of being crushed by rocks and what not. Holstering his gunblades, he reaches back and pulled from the inside of his Arcadian uniform a wide and taut gliding cloak, using it to slow his descent down while also stepping on several rocks as a stepping stone down and away from the falling tower.

Once he reached the safety of solid ground with the others, Hajime immediately stopped, staring incredulously at the large shadow cast on the ground before them all, knowing whose shadow they were now in. While they have been warned earlier not to look directly at the Old One, just looking and contemplating the size of the thing by its shadow sent Hajime riling with abject panic and horror. They were too late and the hopelessness of their cause seems nigh.

For the first time since the whole thing started, Hajime was doubting himself. “How are we supposed to fight that thing?” He asked himself, his eyes wide in shock at the weight of the question he asked himself seems to press down onto him heavily.

"Use your Persona if you have one," Hajime heard Hiro called out over the din, "They should be able to attack it just fine!"

Hajime looks up at Hiro, who was now seemingly prepared to do something with a grim determination on his face, as if he was about to do something big again. While Hajime doesn’t know what, Hiro’s words were enough to make him focus on his inner self to summon the metaphysical being that they have been granted… no, trusted with. As a circle of light formed around him, a card bearing the Priestess Arcana appeared before him, and mustering whatever confidence he could find, he reaches out to grab and crush the card which breaks into a thousand pieces as if it was made of some kind of ethereal glass.

Persona!

Posted Image

The cloud white wolf with red markings that is his Persona appeared before him, and the icon of the sun that it carries on its back lit up the ground and area around it, eliminating the shadow that loomed over them earlier giving Hajime trouble. Feeling the suffused warmth of from it, Hajime found himself ten times braver than before, and he stood up again strong, certain that things will go their way.

“Let’s do it, Sol!” Hajime told his Persona with a confident declaration, raising a clenched fist. “Me Patra!”

BGM CUE:

On command, Sol braces itself on all fours, before lifting its head up high and howled mightily into the sky. A rush of fresh, warm air followed, spreading from the Persona as the epicenter to all those around them whether they were on the ground or in the sky. Everyone who was weighed down with doubt, fear, panic and distress at their entire situation would find themselves more confident and determined than ever to stop Cthulhu once and for all.

And when Hajime turns around to face the Old One, he found it has one more telling effect: he can gaze upon the impossible visage of Cthulhu and… nothing happens! While there was slight repulsion at how the Old One looks, all that came to mind was how to defeat the thing before it could unleash more horror onto the world.

“Everybody! Don’t be afraid! We can look at him now!” Hajime shouted to everyone, hoping that they would notice it too of the effect his Persona has granted them. While it was the case for now, Hajime felt that the effect isn’t permanent, and he felt that as long as he wishes it, he will cast the spell again and again. But for now, without wasting precious time, Hajime reaches out to Cthulhu with a hand and shouted, “Maragi!” On that command, Sol ran forward towards the giant Old One, spinning the sun wheel on its back and lashing out at it with a stream of burning red fire like a whip, aimed at Cthulhu’s right flank.

Only time will tell if Sol's Me Patra would help much in this battle whose end nobody could guess just yet...

Action Explanation

With Me Patra, everyone can now look at Cthulhu without going mad for a (vague) limited time. Use it to your advantage to strike at his weakpoint! (lolz)

...No.

Silently, the swordsman unsheathed Masamune, dispelling his keyblade as he did so, gripping the good luck charms he wore around his neck. He had a chance. It would drive him insane but at this point, the needs of the many outweighed the needs of the one. He could stop this. All he needed was to stare a god in the face and kill it. With the power of Masamune, it was possible. He slayed this things spawn. Even if it killed him, he could do it again to this monstrosity.

Gripping tightly around one, only one thought was in his mind and in his heart.

Victory.

That was when he heard a voice call out.

They could see Cthulhu and strike without fear.

...Then victory...would yet be theirs!

That was when Meglumar opened his eyes, his grip shattering the drill shaped item around his neck.

And explosion of green energy seemed to envelop the group as another burst of green energy erupted off of Seth, Masamune's effect going off due to Meglumar's use. But not just for him. Everyone could see what he could.

This was it. Now or never.

Masamune vanished from his hands as 6 blade identical to it surrounded him, his keyblades both appearing in his hands. The Masamune blades flew off, striking out against the massive beast where they could, relentlessly striking the eldritch being as the Half-Nymph tossed out his keyblades at the various lines, striking out at them and then recalling the blades to resume the assault by tossing them again. And again. And again. Over and over, without remorse.

As if this wasn't enough, Meglumar's persona was also continuing it's assualt, dashing towards the beast over and over, slashing out with it's holy lance, Gram. The Knight of the Knight, Gallant, was being just as fierce as it's master right now, striking out with deadly efficiency.

"I AM MEGLUMAR OF THE ODAI FAMILY! ASPIRING KNIGHT OF THE GOD ZERAS! FIRE DIVISION WARRIOR OF ARCADIA! STUDENT OF HYAKUJI! NEW CITIZEN OF THIS EARTH! AND YOU! ARE GOING! TO DIE!" The Half Nymph yelled out in a berserker rage as he kept up the tossing. Hell, at times it even looked like he was throwing entirely different keyblades than his own. Just where in the hell was this all COMING from?! He was YELLING at an OLD GOD.

Cheh... everyone's so fired up... V muttered inside his head, as the Yama no Ki drifted to the ground, letting Seth hop off the flying piece of log.

"What can you say? They all wanted to protect the world," Seth himself muttered, putting his hand inside his pocket and taking out... a small cone-shaped drill bit, that seemed to be pulsating with an enormous amount of energy. The drill bit itself seemed to be responding to everyone around them, glowing with a dim green light. Their determination, their courage, their stubbornness, their refusal to be defeated...

"All you need... is love and courage," The boy said, squeezing the Drill of Courage in his hand tightly until it shattered.

All at once a massive explosion of green energy erupted from Seth the same time another similar burst exploded from Meglumar. The combined green Spiral Energy flew upwards to the sky merging together in a gigantic helix formation before breaking apart to smaller branches, each of them flying towards every single one of the Arcadian, granting them an impossible level of power, courage and determination. Including Seth himself.

"Alright then..." The boy said, his body glowing with Spiral Energy, his voice steeled with determination as he picked up Yama no Ki, holding it up vertically on one hand as he looked straight at the eldritch abomination, shielded from its maddening effect thanks to Hajime's Persona ability, Me Patra. Cue cardboard speech.

Let me join in.

"Listen up you little piece of abomination. You picked the wrong day to wake up from your beauty sleep. Especially when you intend to destroy the whole world in the first place, because when anything decides to do so we will rise and kick them back where they came from! Nothing stands in the way of peace and justice! If there's a wall in our way we'll tear it down! If there's no path then we'll carve one ourselves! This is the dream and determination of everyone..."

Spiral Energy began to seep from Seth, going from his body up to his hand, wrapping itself around the Yama no Ki in a helical formation, before merging together, to form a green drill made of pure Spiral Energy.

"...the path chosen by those who wishes to protect the world..."

He lowered the massive Spiral Energy Drill, aiming it directly at Cthulhu's heart.

"...sacrificing their lives for the sake of a better future!"

The drill began to spin at high speed, Seth himself seemed to glow brightly, radiating a huge amount of Spiral Energy.
"WHO THE HELL DO YOU THINK WE ARE?!"
"GIGA DRILL BREEEAAAAK!!!"

His entire body seemed to transform to nothing but pure Spiral Energy, his outline barely visible as he rocketed off to the sky, seemingly propelling the rapidly revolving massive drill of Spiral Energy at high speed towards the Eldritch Abomination, aimed to literally drill a huge chunk out of the monster!

NO. NO. NO!

Damon was not going to accept this. He wouldn't accept defeat. He made a promise. To Kage. To Sagi. To Kaede. He didn't care what he was fighting. He didn't care if he was facing an enemy he couldn't beat. He didn't care if it was impossible. He was not going to die here. Not against Cthulhu. Not against anything. He was going home. He was seeing them again.

And if this god dared to try to stop him, he was going to unleash all forms of hell.

Hajime yelled out, declaring it was safe to attack. And then, to boot, The Half Nymph and Seth did SOMETHING. He didn't know what. He didn't care. He just felt more power. More power, more strength, more determination, and now he was going to use this power to grasp his chance at defeating this god. He opened his eyes, red light flaring out as he began to draw in every shadow that he could.

Runed lines formed over his body, and his eyes shifted from red to yellow, as a black and red aura surrounded him. Those closest to him would recognize this as a sign of Damon overloading, bordering on his change to his Elemental Form. He was pushing his body to the limit, and would change any second...

"You abomination...You rise up....You seek destruction. You seek to break our minds and souls... We're not giving up. Even if it takes every scrap of power we have, even if it pushes us past our limits. We aren't going to die here. We're going to take hold of fate and turn this to our side! We are going to..." He said, as a draconic gauntlet formed on his left arm, the eyes on it flaring up red before finishing his sentence.

[SURVIVE]

Damon charged forward towards Cthulhu, unleashing his hidden technique, something he had worked on in secret but never revealed. Unfortunately, since Cthulhu was so ungodly large, it couldn't be used properly. Instead of engulfing the god, all it could do was form a black cloud directly in front of a small portion of the god, firing off red and black bolts of darkness towards the old god. As Damon approached the cloud, the Dragvisor sounded off again.

[SURVIVE]

The gauntlet transformed without Damon, into a strange weapon, a shining blade emerging from the tip, as Damon made a slash into the cloud of darkness.

The cloud and the now-fired blade hurled forward towards the Elder God, exploding violently in a Yin-Yang explosion, Damon's weapon and physical changes vanishing as it did so. Was it enough? Was what everyone doing going to be enough?

It sure as hell was.

The Middleman (stubborn, yet relaxed)
It wasn't until after he landed with a tuck and roll that the roar fazed him, utterly and completely shattering his mental defenses like panes of glass. His eyes saw nothing, yet he screeched a unearthy howl at the top of his lungs to the sky itself. "NOT AGAIN!!!!!"

******
Flashback:

"So...this is a movie?" Shad said in puzzlement, poking the strange gray disk into a DVD slot, which sucked it into the player, startling him. "Aiee! Oh wait...my finger's still attached. Whew." He breathed a sigh of relief, just as the TV flashed and turned on. And so he watched "Star Trek: First Contact". Needless to say, he had nightmares for 2 weeks that left him trembling on his mattress, scared to get up to use the toilet. Nightmares...that involved Hiro-sensei as a Borg, chasing him down a narrow hallway with many of the student's heads mounted on each wall, asking why couldn't he save them? It was kinda silly after he thought about it after 2 weeks...but now things were different...

*******

"I won't....let it...happen..." His eyes were now bloodshot, his fanged teeth snarling out of rage as he attempted to repress that awful memory which occurred right before this whole 'Machine Empire' nonsense started. "GAAAAAAAA!" He screamed again, groaning in agony as the second burst of mental pain, then partially subsided. He gasped, exhausted by the immense stress and power that this so-called god was giving off, but he was still angry nonetheless.

"You...bastard...." He accidentally bit his lip, getting back up once the headache was non-daunting, running straight towards Cthulhu as the bridge crumbled behind him a foot at a time. "You mess with my head, and you pay the price! FATAL BLOW: KNIGHTFALL DROP!" With a mighty cry, Shad leapt off the edge of the broken bridge which fell apart a few seconds after, overhearing that the monster was now visible for a short time, in which he began to fall towards Cthulhu, positioning Excalibur underneath him with both legs bent close, targeting the exposed heart in order to stab it from above with accelerated momentum and velocity, like a anvil falling out of a jet down on a ostrich egg.

Lucidus managed to glance at the few arrows that embeded themselves inside of Cthulu, however as expected of the master of all those regenerating creatures the arrows were pointless. After a few moments Lucidus clutched his head in pain as he felt giant amounts of mental pain. He continued trying to calm himself down from the mental pain that Cthulu was putting out.

After Lucidus observed the other Arcadian's attacks on Cthulu he noticed an incoming tentacle after the mental assault had begun to die down. He doubted that he could get block the creature's tentacle so Lucidus did the intelligent thing. He ran to the side to try and jump out of the way of the tentacle. It barely missed him by centimetres and Lucidus felt the force push him a fair distance. He landed a couple of metres away from the tentacle which was currently inhabiting the space where he stood.

It was then when he heard one of the Arcadian members mention that they could now look at Cthulu completely without going completely insane. That was at least something that was running for them in this fight. For now at least they weree able to look at their opponent. This meant that more attacks could potentially land on their opponent because they didn't have to blind fire. Lucidus opened his closed eye to see what they were fighting against. It was damned ugly, that much was certain. He felt a bit woozy from the mere sight of the creature. However he foucsed after all they had to kill the thing here an now.

He then noticed strange green energy coming from Meglumar and Seth and then after a few more moments passed he noticed that he was able to see lines over Cthulu. On top of that the green energy from Seth began to flow around his body givng it a green glowing aura. Lucidus didn't know what the hell it was but due to the fact that he wasn't being hurt by it Lucidus assumed it was good.

Lucidus looked towards Cthulu and watched as various members of Arcadian's fire divison began to attack Cthulu with all they could throw at the creature. "No matter how strong, powerful and ancient you are, we are going to put you down. Even if it takes every single last piece of strength that every single one of us have it's going to go into taking you down." Lucidus said as he materialized his bow and began to form an arrow. "And if that's not enough we'll throw ourselves at you, and keep doing so until you fall down dead. No matter what you do and how much you fight back we are going to come out of this on top. DON'T UNDERESTIMATE US, YOU DAMNED CREATURE." Lucidus shouted the last sentence. He wasn't one usually to shot but even he had gotten caught up with the speeches everyone else had been giving.

While the bow was aimed towards Lucidus he materialized an arrow. It was his scatter arrow so it was a lot larger then his other arrows. One noticeable difference was there though, the green energy from around him had begun to seep into and around the arrow making a drill shape around the arrowhead and turning the arrow green. Lucidus shouted "Uranicus Sparsum Telum." Before letting the arrow go, the arrow flew towards Cthulu at an unusually faster pace and as usual a crack would be heard and the arrow shattered. Strangely enough though the multiple arrows all were green and had that same drill shape around the arrowhead. Lucidus hoped that meant that the arrows were more powerful. Lucidus observed as the arrows started flying towards several of the different lines that he could see on Cthulu.
