Saya glanced around the cemetery, she didn't see anyone so there shouldn't be anyone to complain about her being here (let alone eating.) Normally she wouldn't bring her breakfast with her to her morning visit to the cemetery, however she didn't exactly feel comfortable eating at "home" now. With a sigh the red-haired girl moved off to the side, taking a seat before some headstones. She opened up the convenience store bag, it wasn't much for breakfast but it would at least keep her stomach from growling until lunch... She had bought 3 onigiri (tuna filled), opening up one she set it before the headstone as a small offering muttering something along the lines of 'excuse my presence'. With another light sigh she opened up a second onigiri and began to eat it in silence. |

Jeff had come to this place, because for one reason it was a quiet spot. Not many would disturb someone who came here to meditate on the past, and to think of the future and what would go on during said future events. Clad in his street clothes which consisted of a black shirt, tank top style, a long sleeve overshirt, a jacket and combat boots along with black jeans, Jeff sat down and pulled out the meal he had brought with him, some typical Japanese styled foods. Healthy ones at that, and so he sat down and began to eat slowly. Upon seeing someone else here, Jeff decided to be friendly. "Hello." |

Zhimeng had waked up early in the morning, and went for some morning exercise. For some reason known only to herself, she ended her morning exercise by jogging to, out of all places the cemetery, and then decided to make and have breakfast over there. And opening up her backpack, she starts a campfire, right in the middle of the cemetery, and started roasting a full duck over the camp fire, and the duck in question had been prepared in the Peking Duck style no less. If anyone else is around, she or he would most likely smelled the nice aroma given out during the roasting. |

Saya could only stare in disbelief as two others joined into the cemetary to eat their own breakfasts. Were they ususally around here? The first person was... sort of... okay... they didn't do anything particularly damaging per se... The second however... starting a fire in the middle of a cemetary? What the actual fuck? As opposed to simply responding to the boy, she stood immediately "What the hell do you think you're doing!?" She shouted, grabbing her waterbottle beverage, running over and dousing the girl's campfire. "This is a motherf*cking cemetery not a goddamned campground! Use your f*cking brain!!" She roared at the girl before turning and pointing at the boy, "And you! If you're going to be in a cemetary at least show the spirits some goddamned respect! Forcing them to sit and watch you eat without offering them a damn thing, pitiful." She sneered at the two, perhaps coming here this morning was a mistake... |

So this girl was not quite right in the head, either that or she was very rude. Well her actions had proven one thing about her and that was that if Jeff had not encountered other metas, this place would be one heck of a nightmare for him. Yet as he watched her splash water on the cooking fire of the other person a sigh came out of his mouth. The duck may not be on his diet, but it had smelled until she had done that good enough to eat. Since he had no dead here, her orders would not be ones that would be codified as something worth doing. So rather than tolerate her harassment, Jeff decided to pick up his stuff and leave and so he packed the food back into the picnic basket. No sense provoking a fight, because if this person was stronger than him he did not need enemies. "Okay, guess I'll be going then." |

The smell of various foods in the air was unmistakable. Now some people left offerings of such things in the graveyard as a token of respect. However, eating and roasting in a graveyard was somewhat, just plain old discourteous. A man had been sweeping the leaves and dirt away from the various tombstones, a man dressed in overalls and wearing a cap which hid most of his face, although to some, there was an unmistakable main of raven coloured hair, tied back with a red ribbon. He stood there watching the three youngsters eating and cooking and arguing amongst the graves. Terado stood there watching, leaning agaisnt his broom for a moment and watching as the one girl doused the fire and shouted at the other two teens. His eyes were in shadow thanks to his cap, but they were fixated on the three. Had it been a good idea to have taken this extra janitorial job? Sure he could handle this and still cleaning the school, but he was one faced with having to deal with people while working. He had never really liked dealing with people while working, that was the beauty of being a janitor, you kept your head down, did your job and didn't have to bother or be bothered by anyone. He sighed, "Oh well." he said to himself, picking his broom up and moving towards the students. They would notice a long shadow fall over them as Terado quite literally towered over them, even in his human form. He looked at them all, his red-brown eyes staring, "So, what exactly, is going on here? Aside from the fact that you just made my job somewhat more difficult?" |

"Making Peking Roast Duck..." Zhimeng tried to reply to the girl. "Ah!!! No!!! What are you doing?!!!" She screams as the girl put out her fire, "I am cooking this to sacrifice to the spirits! How can you do this?" Like anyone will believe her. It was then some guy approach them. "I wouldn't even dare try making your job difficult, good sir, I am just roasting this duck so I can offer it to the spirits as a sacrifice!" She said as she dry the firewood with a portable hair dryer, before pouring some clarified butter and corn oil on the wood. And with the oil on the firewood, Zhimeng starts the camp fire again and returns to roasting the duck. "Trust me, this duck is good, the spirits around here would love it." and smiled. |

One boy stood and started to gather his belongings to leave. That was just fine, if he didn't understand basic respect for the dead then he had no business being in a cemetery. The short redhead crossed her arms when a large shadow crossed over and when she turned there was a man at least a whole foot taller than herself. The short girl tensed and took a step back, the last time someone like that showed up she nearly got killed by a mountain god (She was still convinced that man had been a mountain god even if he denied it.) Though when he spoke she realized two things, the first of which being that he wasn't going to attack, and the second was that she recognized him. He was the Janitor. Ryuko-sensei had him particpate in yesterday's class. "So, what exactly, is going on here? Aside from the fact that you just made my job somewhat more difficult?" Saya frowned, so she was going to get in trouble for scolding people who were disrespecting the grounds... just fucking great... However before she could even begin to think of a way to explain herself out of this, the girl screamed that she was cooking the duck to sacrifice to the spirits. Really? This girl comes all the way here to make a campfire in the middle of the goddamn cemetery to cook a duck to give to the spirits? What the actual fuck?! Saya could only stare in disbelief as the girl dried the wood, put some oils on it and started the fire again. "G-gh.. Even if it's for the spirits look at the trouble you cause for the living as well!" She shouted, her waterbottle was now empty unfortunately, she hadn't thought this girl would have been so prepared as to be able to start it again. "This is not the place to prepare a meal! You don't fucking cook in a dining room. You fucking idiot! Cook the damn food elsewhere and bring it you damned fool!!" She roared, her rage at the fact such foolishness even existed driving her to shoot her hand out in an attempt grab the girl by her shirt collar and pull her to her feet. |

Terado stood there for a moment, truely in awe at the lengths some people would go to, to offer roasted duck in the bluntest fashion. The notion while honourable just seemed to be going about it the wrong way and sadly cleaning these graves also made Terado somewhat of a gravekeeper indirectly. Lord knows he remembered a couple centuries ago when this one guy lost his cool about several animals being sold and batered in a Temple for easy sacrifices. Terado wasn't about lose his cool, but he was going to put his foot down a little bit more sternly. "While I can appreciate the fact that you're cooking this duck as an offering, it is somewhat disrespectful to light a fire on graves, also, this is techincally considered a fire-hazard." Terado went around the corner, soon returning to find Saya shouting and the girl. The housepipe had a nozzle on it that allowed the water to stop flowing, for the moment anyway. The janitor slung the hosepipe over a tombstone and moved towards the fire where the duck was roasting. "Pardon me." he said, before he snatched the duck up and held it above his head. The only thing the other two girls would see was a brief shadowed face of a giant mouth and fangs chomping down the duck, before they saw Terado licking his fingers. "Mmm, that was good duck." Moving back to the housepipe, Terado turned the nozzle and turned it on, using it to wash the duck grease off his hands and then to put out the fire a second time. "Cemetary policy on offerings. No fires, as they're fire hazzards, and no meat. There's enough flesh underground here as it is, we don't need duck rotting above ground and making the tombs smell bad, it takes a lot of time to get the stains out." Terado wasn't angry, he was just somewhat, well he was regimented about the entire thing. Right now he was just doing his job. |

As the other girl tries to grab her, Zhimeng grabs and throw a large piece of burning firewood at her face, then another one at her chest, being a practitioner of the Great Solar arts, she's not afraid of a little fire, not sure about the other girl. "Hey! Don't get violence! I'm scared!" She said. And then the big guy ate the duck. "My duck..." Zhimeng mumbled, she was playing to do a simple sacrificial ritual. Then eat the duck herself, since in China, it's tradition to eat offerings, since it was deem that the spirits and gods would have ate the soul of the offered dishes, and the soulless food that's left over after the feasting of the spirits was for the living to eat. Well, what's done is done, there's nothing to be done. And then the big guy put out the fire. "Oh well, guess I've better be going, bye." Said Zhimeng as she attempt to walk off, before the girl she just threw 2 flaming pieces of wood at can do something to her. Edited by Kounoko, Dec 4 2011, 03:41 PM.

Well, that was unexpected to be sure. Saya wasn't intending to do anything too terrible to the girl, perhaps nothing more than threaten. However, the girl moved and threw two pieces of the flaming wood and screaming that Saya shouldn't get violent and that she was scared. Bull. Shit. Saya immediately withdrew her hand not having enough time to dodge without possibly getting hit so it was better to strike. She brought up her arm, blocking both fiery pieces with her left arm. and striking them away. To say it didn't hurt would be a blatant lie, however by countering in this way, she suffered only minor burns to her arm as opposed to potentially more serious burns to her face (Not to mention the threat of clothes catching on fire). But oh god, it certainly burned... She hissed and turned back to the girl as the janitor explained why it wasn't allowed before eating the duck and hosing down the fire. HIs face looked... kind of weird when he ate that duck didn't it. "Oh well, guess I've better be going, bye." "Oi!" Saya called after, but it was too late, she was already gone. What. The. Fuck. That damned girl just throws two fiery pieces of wood at someone and runs away? "Fucking coward!!!" Saya roared after the girl before exhaling loudly. After a moment or two she turned to Terudo, "Sorry to cause trouble." She said with a slight bow. She glanced at her arm assessing damage. Not too bad actually, her arm was red where it was hit that's for sure, but nothing more than a minor 1st degree burn so she'd be able to take care of that at home. |

Terado figured he'd need to get a mop and some polish to get rid of the ash on the tombstones nearby later on, but for now he had something else to attend to, the remaining red haired girl. He looked at her as she bowed and was met with a very curious observation of her character. Quite hot-headed given how she was just screaming not more than a moment ago, but then still quite apologetic. He didn't blame her for leaving food, mainly because she wasn't cooking it in the cemetary. "It's alright. The fire is out and all I need to do is clean up a bit around the graveyard, not sweat. However, I'm concerned for your arm." he said, first pointing towards Saya's burn, before reaching out for it. Terado didn't touch the burned area obviously, but slightly raised it up and bent down to better examine it. Saya would notice that while the janitor was holding it gingerly in his grasp, if she tried to tug away, he wasn't exactly going to let it go. He raised his free hand's thumb to his mouth and gently bit it, causing blood to seep out of it at a slightly enhanced rate. Terado began to whisper something in Alnu, that would seem foreign to Saya's ears, a chant for a sealing spell. He traced a line of his own blood over Saya's arm, watching as it spread and went from dark red to a red that was only a few shades lighter than Saya's hair. The girl would probably protest to all this, until she felt the pain subside and her burnt skin become silky smooth, albeit it now a very noticeable red around the burnt area. Terado smiled and released Saya's arm, "There, that should take the edge off for a while, just make sure you get some disinfectant and bandage it up when you get home." |

[[Sorry for the uber lateness D= ]] Saya blinked and glanced up at the man when he said he was concerned for her burned arm. She waved her other hand, "Don't worry about it. This is nothing." She spoke rather calmly compared to earlier, and then he grabbed her arm. She furrowed her eybrows and tried to pull back but it was pretty obvious he was strong enough to keep it there if he intended to. Just what was he planning? The redhead raised an eyebrow when he bit his thumb and started mumbling to himself in another language. The small girl only knew japanese but she at least knew the general sound of a few other languages, but not whatever he was speaking... She watched him carefully as he took his bleeding thumb to her arm. "Hey!" She shouted trying to wrest her harm from his grip. "What the hell do you think you're doing?!" she roared. "Fucking mad fool!" What kind of contamination was he trying to put into her through the broken skin? But then she felt the hotness of the burn fade away. "What the fuck?" She muttered glancing at the area. "There, that should take the edge off for a while, just make sure you get some disinfectant and bandage it up when you get home." "Ah..." so it was a bit of healing... Saya bowed her head slightly "Thanks... And sorry... Though in the future might I suggest you warn people before grabbing and smearing blood on them..." She frowned a bit and glanced at her arm inspecting it. Then she froze remembering the last time they had 'met'. Wait... so... he was actually a werewolf right? He wasn't turned by the spell like the rest of them he kinda transformed on his own... did that mean this was... werewolf blood? Weren't werewolves made by blood transfer? Saya glanced back at Terudo, her left eye twitching slightly. "W...wait... did... did you just infect me?" While, sure there was nothing particularly wrong about becoming a werewolf or something... but... to just infect someone without them having a say in the matter... that just plain pissed her off... |

[No apologies necessary ^^] Terado ignored Saya's shouts of protest, having expected them to come his way due to what he was doing, but he often found that he just needed to do something to make others understand. Informing them first, while polite, often warranted nervousness and second thoughts. When action was taken results were achieved. He looked at the wound on his thumb, watching as it slowly began to close while Saya inspected her arm. Terado's ears perked up a bit when Saya spoke again, asking if he had infected her. He blinked for a moment, not realising what she meant for a moment, before the penny dropped. He laughed out loudly, clutching his gut for a moment before smiling and catching his breath. "Heavens no! I'm terribly sorry, no my blood is not like that of the mogrel wolves that you've seen running around." Terado paused for a moment, wondering if he should tell her the secret of his origins. He had only told a total of three people. What was one more person? After all, 4 people could still be counted and kept track of using the fingers from only one hand. "You would never guess it, in fact no one ever has, but I'm not a werewolf. I am the Werewolf." he paused, waiting to see if what he was saying would sink in and Saya would begin to grasp the magnitude of what he was saying, "It's a long story, but the part of the story pertaining to your wound is this. I'm not some worm ridden hound, I do not transfer my powers through simple mingling of blood and slashing of claws, otherwise there would be many more hounds around." It was true though. If Saya thought about it, the fact that Terado could use blood magic meant that the werewolf population would have increased dramastically if he just used his powers to heal everyone he wanted. "Mine is the original bloodline and therefore, I can choose on whom I wish to bestow it. That way, the strength and purity of the blood will be maintained." |

The red-head's eyes flattened when the man started laughing. Why was he laughing? What... was it funny to randomly infect people? What the fuck was going on?! "Heavens no! I'm terribly sorry, no my blood is not like that of the mongrel wolves that you've seen running around." What? Saya furrowed her eyebrows not quite comprehending what he meant until he began to elaborate that he was not 'a werewolf' but 'the werewolf'. Now, Saya knew plenty about folklore and mythical creatures... well japanese ones at least... the others she didn't know an awful lot about... But he explained a bit more and it did start to make sense. "I... see..." She said, the wheels obviously grinding over this information in her mind. It did make sense, especially if he was just putting his blood on people without much thought. After all, even if he had looked into the official school records he didn't know an awful lot about her and so to change her like that would really be a rough gamble. The red-head nodded slightly. "Well that's a relief. I have enough troubles without adding a full moon to that list." She said in almost a joking manner dropping her hands to her sides. "Well, sorry about the others and the mess. If it's troublesome I can just as easily take my offerings somewhere else. It's not like I have anyone actually buried here." She said glancing around the cemetery. |
