It had been years. Over a century for Naka, at least. Time had been.... useless in the world he had been stuck in. Now he was back, back in his world, back in the town he used to live in.... where he went to school. Where his parents were buried. It was night, nobody was ever around this time of night. Midnight.

Naka used to have a ritual here. He would renew his powers, change the ice in his body for a brief moment, allowing excrutiating pain to surge through him. Now all that was gone. All the pain, all the sorrow.... well.... most of it. He still felt sorrow in his.... heart? Did he even have one?....Naka didn't know or care anymore.

He had sent his cousin a message. Hopefully he would have gotten it... Naka needed to see him. To make sure that his sister hadn't gotten to him yet.... to at least know that family still existed. He wanted confirmation.... Proof....

Naka decided to lay right in front of his father's grave, slowly changing form, his face chizziling down to what it used to be. He would appear like he hadn't aged a day.....Or was it a year? Time was impossible to keep track of anymore. He looked at his hand, seeing the ice and the ground through it. He sighed. He wasn't even fully human anymore... he wondered if his cousin had made it this far.... a full elemental form....

He hoped his cousin would appear. Someone even. He was starting to not care.

Lyle had visited the graveyard before. Not because he knew anyone who was buried there, it was because he had gone there to meditate when ever he couldn't sleep. Now he slowly heads towards the graves yawning on his way. He had always leaned against one of the biggest stones and was hoping no one would be there at this time of the night.

When he got there the first thing he noticed was how cold it was. He kept his eyes closed right until he sat on a tombstone near the edge of the cemetery and laid back. He pulled out his book from his bag and started reading it. He tried warming himself by rubbing his hands together. That failed. He pulled out his book light and turned it on. He turned it off immediately after he heard a noise. The noise came from the opposite side of the cemetery. He decided to go investigate. He was hoping for it to be someone he knew. Someone that could ease his boredom.

Naka looked up, seeing this.... person. He had never met him before, and didn't know what he was doing here. "You're not who I'm waiting for..." He said, as he started to stand. His face was still changing, but it was mostly done. His mouth was formed anyhow. "What are you doing here at this time of night? Most humans tend to stay away from places like this.... at least at this time of night when this place is off limits..."

He grabbed hold of his father's gravestone, making a small impression in the stone as he lifted himself into a standing position. He looked this boy over, before going back to thinking about when his cousin would get here.

He basically ignored the first sounds Naka made. When he heard the word human he turned around to see the strange creature before him. He decided not to question his melding face or the fact that he said human. He stopped to watch him get up. He thought he wasn't bad from the way he spoke and decided to skip to the formalities. "Um...Hi" he said as he desperately tried to think of something cool to say. "Off limits? I can go through stuff, so I never really cared. They say that to protect us and I don't really need protection". He then thought to himself of reasons others might be hear. Then again he doubted that he had any bad reason.

A man with long, white hair seemed to appear from nothingness a few feet away from the two people who had met, in seemingly an instant. A small aura was surrounding him for a moment before vanishing. He glanced at the two beings here. One was a stranger, brown hair. The other, a much more familiar face.

Damon wasn't sure whether he could believe the strange note he had found somehow at his home. It was unsettling, and smelled of a trap, but nope. Much to his surprise. He completely ignored the other person, focusing solely on the other white haired person. "It's been four years. Four years and not a single word." He said, more than a little annoyed.

Don't get him wrong. He was GLAD to see Naka again. It was just.....four years. He had thought Naka was killed somewhere due to his sudden vanishing and no contact. And now he was back like this. It was....very emotionally conflicting.

Naka looked at his cousin for a moment. He felt.... strange. He didn't feel good, but he didn't feel bad either.... He shook his head as his face finished shaping. "I couldn't exactly return...." He said, thinking about where he had been.... it felt more like four HUNDRED years to him than just four.... "I couldn't let my sister get to you too. I.... I couldn't stand allowing her to live. I couldn't put you in danger." He said, trying to apologize.

"You look good. I see you've gotten better with your powers. You earn your elemental form yet?" He asked, looking at his own hand. Looking at shift from flesh to ice, he chuckled with no real enthusiasm. He thought he would have found that funny before he became an elemental. "If you ever do, try not to stay in it too long. You'll get stuck in it." He said, looking at himself still.

Then he turned back to the other person. "Going through stuff. Fun. As you can see, I'm an Ice Elemental. Well, a Holy Ice Elemental, but that's not the point."

Lyle backed off a little when he noticed the other person approaching. When both of them starting talking to each other he sensed a little unease. He tried to smile a little but was a little confused. He didn't really grasp the idea of ice being "holy". So he stood there and listened waiting for the two to speak more. "So your cousins?" he questioned.

There was a very visible twitch in Damon as Naka spoke. Put him in DANGER? Not let her LIVE? Just these two parts alone made Damon furious. Not helped by the fact that these were the first things he was saying to Damon after 4 years. Damon was staunchly against killing of any kind, and his cousin's blind determination to killing....it infuriated Damon to no end.

And on top of that, his excuse was not wanting Damon to be in danger.

That was just the last straw.

And then there was this complete stranger. Who...knew they were cousins. Somehow. Despite neither of them actually saying anything like that. He could understand a suspicion of being related, but cousins was suspiciously specific. Almost as if he knew something about them aside from what was said in the here and now.

"...That's it?!" He yelled out, in genuine anger. It was taking all of Damon's self control not to slap some sense into his cousin. Coming back out of the blue, and trying to explain away his absence like that, and his comments on powers, and elemental forms, and....Just....No social tact at all.

This... was....strange to Naka. His cousin didn't seem happy to see him, nor happy in Naka's attempt at explaining things, or making small talk. Was Naka doing something wrong?

"Well.... what do you expect? An apology? I have nothing to be sorry for. She killed my mother and father, then my brother when he tried to figure out what was going on, of course I'm going to try to get revenge. She's been behind the murders of every single member of our family, all because she decided to make a deal with a demon! She's a Hellfire Elemental now! Growing in power, if I don't stop her, she'll kill off every member of our family!"

He was now trying to convince his cousin to understand. "I grew up trying to understand why, trying to reason to myself! 'She must have had a reason! Maybe mother and father did something bad to her, or caused something bad!' But not a single thing came up! Only when I followed her to her 'home' did I figure things out. And do you know how long it was to ME? Felt like hundreds of years to me! I was tortured! I had to become an elemental to survive, and in doing so, LOST my humanity!" He said, ripping off his left arm. The break was clear, only ice was there now. "I'm not even human anymore because of her, do you expect me to want her to live?"

He turned away from the two with slow movements. He then walked towards a close tombstone and leaned against it. "You guys are a little too tense for me" he smiled. "Murder? That's a little to much for me at this time of night". He stopped leaning against the stone "I guess I'll head back now". He paused and looked up as his smile grew thin. "Just remember I'm a student at the school and if you need anything I think I could help". He started to walk away but slowly. So that if one of them wanted him to hear what they were saying he could. He looked back over his shoulder and listened.

...This....idiot.

Damon turned away from his cousin, shaking his head. "You don't lose your humanity until you give into revenge." He said in response to his rant. Damon knew better than he thought the price of being stuck as an Elemental. He'd spent a year of his own in a never-resting war against the harbingers of the apocalypse, the Heartless. Despite it all, he did his best to keep his humanity despite being stuck in such a form, and never gave up what made him human, even if he technically wasn't at that point.

"While you were off being obsessed, I've faced more than you can imagine. Demons and cults, elementals of evil and men with revenge in their hearts, loss and gain. I faced the end of the world itself and undone it. I didn't have myself be consumed by the losses like you." He said before he started walking away.

His body gained a glowing red aura as he walked. "And by the way." He said, turning his head back to look Naka right in the eyes. "She can't do anything to them. They've already been murdered while you were off focusing solely on her."

That seemed to have been something Naka just didn't know. She wasn't the only one who had worked to end them. There were others who had done the job....and finished it. He vanished into the darkness of the night, very unhappy with how this night went. A survivor in the end, but one with revenge and shortsighted goals. One so consumed by it that they probably would never move on.

Naka collapsed to his knees. He couldn't believe what he heard.

Dead?....All of them?.... only he and Damon remained?....

Three emotions ran through Naka. First was a surge of intense sorrow. Strong enough to peirce his dulled emotions. Tears of ice fell from him, as he punched a nearby gravestone, letting it break apart. This is when his rage began to emerge. As he lifted pieces of the gravestone and threw it right where Damon had vanished. "AT LEAST I KNOW WHO MY ENEMY IS!" He yelled, unable to come up with any other arguement than that.

The last emotion was complete and utter despair, a much stronger form of sorrow. Naka had failed his family, he had failed his cousin, he had failed everyone.... and now his sister was just two people away from becoming the strongest Elemental in the world, and using her powers to destroy everything.... Naka couldn't allow this. If he had to, he'd kill Damon himself and absorb his powers.

Yes.... that's what Naka would have to do someday.... Damon was stronger than Naka, Naka knew that. But soon enough Naka would be stronger. And then Damon would learn what it ment to cross Nakashima Takumi, Ice Elemental. For the good of the world.... for the good of existance... Naka accepted that he may someday have to kill Damon to try to absorb his powers to fight his sister...

But Naka refused to do so quite yet. He would exaust all other options. His first attempt to get Damon on his side failed.... He hoped a second someday would work. He would at least let Damon mull over his 'hatred' of Naka first.

Naka got up from his collapsed position, and walked out of the graveyard....He needed to figure out something to do.... someway to get stronger....and... try to get his humanity back.

After hearing some of the commotion and seeing Naka roam away he decided to head back to the dorms. He looked up at the sky and sighed. He disliked the word murder. He finally got up and left towards the school's dorms. He had thought about what he had heard. He wondered about Naka and the other stranger. He wondered if he would see them again. He sensed something strange about both of them. The same strangeness he felt from some of his class mates. Then he stopped when half way out of the cemetery about how elementals all felt Different when near them. He wondered about the word Holy and how he didn't like it very much. He then laid back near one of the final tombstones near the edge of the cemetery. He delved into deep thought.
