One does not simply eat one packet of mee goreng

As much as he himself would like to deny it, he couldn't deny that something definitely happened there. There shouldn't be anyone here in the first place, so nothing out of the ordinary should have happened, especially when it has something to do with making that loud of a noise. He visibly shook his head, not realizing that she couldn't see making it seem as though he was being eerily quiet and unresponsive instead. But no, at this point all of his senses were on, enhanced to over more than any humans could ever reach, thanks to the metavirus inside him. He could see better than anyone and he could hear better than anyone. But it usually wouldn't happen unless Seth feels it was truly necessary for him to be in high vigilance mode... meaning he definitely thought that something was off. And he's not happy with it. But just as he was squinting through the old word down and charred bookshelves for... anything, really... an inexplicable coldness suddenly ran through the scene. Not the physical coldness where the temperature itself drops down to unimaginable level. More like... shivering, suddenly freezing on the spot without any reason... cold... empty... everything felt so... There's something above them. Don't look up. |

As nerve racking as the situation already was his silence wasn't helping her. It's not like she could hear his head rattle. As unnerving as the eerie silence that followed the crashing sound was, the cold chill that suddenly sprang up caused her heart to nearly skip a beat. A sudden and dramatic change in temperature such as this could not be good. Irrational thought and impulse were threatening to take over. "We gotta go, we need to leave, let's just get out of here, come on, let's just leave," Yukiko continued blabbering and muttering like that in a very meek and frightened tone. She was freaking out, threatening to break from reality. She'd never imagined herself to ever be put in a situation like this. She needed a big helping of reassurance if she was to help instead of hinder Seth. She was savagely clinging to Seth now, her distraught and paniced eyes darting everywhere trying to glimpse a way out, trying to see the unknown danger. Time seemed to stand still as she finally looked up and saw something in the dim light... |

![]() I told you not to look up. Any kind of screaming that may have ensued in the shortest of time span later, any kind of fainting, any kind of... whatever! He disregarded it all as in one swift motion he quickly pulled Yukiko up to her feet. Keeping a firm grasp on her hand he rapidly pulled her away and sprinted hard towards the entrance they came through just now. He didn't bother to look back, he didn't bother to think. Escape was the main priority. Humans are afraid of the unknown. Who knows just what that... thing, can do to them. It's best to keep distance, keep away, keep safe, keep smart. Of course, coming in here in the first place wasn't very smart. Edited by Fin, Dec 10 2011, 11:10 PM.

It was fortunate the light was so low. Had she gotten a good glimpse of that thing she very well may have died of fright. With Seth's godlike reaction she didn't have time to react. Her blown mind could only think about what the hell it just saw. And how it could be so ungodly fast. In a flash whatever it was hit the floor and began pursuit. With her being towed by Seth she was basically flailing in the wind as he drug her through the building. This gave her a rather hair raising view as they were chased. "I dunno if you can go faster or not, but we got company!" Yukiko nearly screamed as the ghastly apparition encroached upon the fleeing pair. A very scary looking apparition to boot! |

"Like I didn't know that!" He hissed in exasperation, honestly having a somewhat hard time trying to run with her in tow like that. So she wanted him to go faster? Well, he CAN, but it would be troublesome if she got left behind now, isn't it? "Left!" He yelled out, making a quick turn around a bookshelf as he remembered where the exit was supposed to be. It shouldn't be far now, just three more rows, two... one...! ... Dammit, he should've expected this would happen. Seth stopped dead in his track, as he stared at the perfectly flat and undamaged wall in front of them. Wait, what's wrong with a good piece of wall? Well, in this case it's wrong because the wall was SUPPOSED to have a large hole on it. THAT was supposed to be their exit. No, they're not lost. He made sure of that. "Well... we're screwed," He said weakly, a faint nervous grin appearing on his face. |

"Well sorry!" She yelled as they hurtled through the dilapidated structure, scary phantasm following close behind them. This was not supposed to be happening on her first day. But from Seth's tone they'd soon be out in the open. Or at leas they should've been... "What happened?!? Why did you bring us here? The one part of the whole damn building that's still standing!" He had to had made a mistake. They were supposed to be running towards the school right now. She was starting to get hysterical again. Making her way to the wall she got tripped up again and fell forwards towards Seth, but catching herself on the wall. It was eerily reminiscent of the spot she tripped on earlier... "My god! This is... You took us right back to where we..." She was in shock. What the hell was going on?!? In her brief moment the creepy chill started permeating the area around the wall. Stranger still was it grew quiet again. All that could be heard was their labored breathing and the beats of their own hearts. Looking around she couldn't hear or see anything out of the ordinary. Small dust and debris came fluttering down from above their heads. Maybe someone should look up this time... Lest they be caught off guard. |

Hrmhrm... so it's come to this, huh. This so reminded him of the time when he used to play that game, Penumbra. Gott, V had a good time laughing his ass off every time Seth squealed in the game. Of course, that's in the game. This is real life. That's the deal with real life, there's no save point or checkpoint. There is however, crazy actions you can do. Instead of turning around to look for another escape point (or... I dunno, break the wall?), a sly grin appeared on his face. Though it still looked as though he was worried at the point, he doesn't seem particularly freaked out. Excited, might be the right word. "Alright... if you say so, ghost boy," V said, raising his hand and pointing up to the ceiling without an upward glance. "Get down here. We're negotiating," |
