"Ara ara, sorry~" The girl apologizes, even though she doesn't seem that she feels even one bit guilty over the fact that she has made the push a little too harsh on the couple. At least, Tsubame didn't really feel that she went too far. But then again, she never learned how to, or never inclined to believe she should, recognize and stop herself before she pushes things too far.

Noticing that Saito is trying to adjust his bow, the girl decides to give the poor "maid" a hand, and helps him in arranging his bow back, and more securely, into place.

"But seriously, Tsu didn't expect Aisia-san would be one of those people who so forcibly declare her rights of possession over her lover! Was Aisia-san always a seme-type?" Now, if Saito turns around and sees Tsubame head-on, he'd find that Tsubame's eyes are sparkling with joy, as if she has found something most interesting around work. Whether or not it is a Yuri fangirl thing, or simply Tsubame's prankster senses tingling, it is rather unclear. what is clear, however, is that Tsubame is seriously enjoying the current situation.

It is then that she overhears something from the back of both of them.

Tsubame tilts her head, and puts her index finger over her closed lips. With a little smirk of curiosity, the girl sneakily walks back towards the staff room, and puts her ear against the door.

The girl listens for a minute or two, and waves Saito over, her face angry looking, and her fingers of two hands crossed in front of her forming an "X", signaling to Saito that the two lovers seems to be at a quarrel.

What is going on IN there!?

Ayane had backed Aisia against the door. Rage was fueling her now, blinding the fact that she really should back down. She should just sigh and stop, leaving Aisia alone to get back to her work and head home herself to rest off her injury. That wasn't what happened. Instead, when Aisia fearfully insisted that she didn't remember saying anything, Ayane lifted her right hand into the air, her facial muscles tensing tightly...!

Then she stopped, just short of actually bringing her hand down across Aisia's face. The wince that flashed across Ayane's features as she opened her fist into a flat palm revealed the real reason why she stopped. Her cut hand searing pain up her spine kept her from going through with it, forcing her to instead ball up her first and lower her arm into the sling again. Only after her injury prevented any further action did she do what she should have done a minute ago before she flew off the handle.

"Forget this. I'm leaving, move out of the way, Aisia."

Aisia didn't understand. Ayane was still angry at her, as if totally not believing what she just said. No, not as if. She didn't.

Back in DiKiDo Land, she didn't flinch when she did this to her. Maybe that was because they weren't sure of the other back then, but she was less afraid back then.
... Now, she was, when Ayane raised her hand to slap her. The only thing that stopped Ayane was the pain that flashed in her hand from her previous injury.

"Forget this. I'm leaving, move out of the way, Aisia."
Aisia opened her eyes. All she could see was an enraged Ayane, who looked (and probably felt like) like she was being made into a fool.
"You... You don't believe me... do you."

Aisia didn't budge from the door, unaware the Tsubame was listening behind it.

"Why? Why don't you believe me?"
Even if it earned her an actual hit, she couldn't help but say what was next.
"Why!? You have no right not to, Goddammit! Not when you didn't believe in me back then, not when I have every reason not to do the same with you!!!"

Tears were flowing down Aisia's face as her yell dislodged a pile of pears stacked in a nearby shelf and sent them tumbling to the ground.

"Fine! Get out! I don't care anymore! You shouldn't even be here to begin with anyway!" Aisia yelled as she shoved her way past Ayane and ran out the back door.
... Oh boy, here we go.

The widening of the eyes was the only thing that she could have reacted, after Tsubame has tried to listen to the conversation. She could hear quite well- well enough to know that they are arguing, and she should back off and sneak away before the door is flung opened by the angry couple.

And that she did.

The girl steps aside from the door way, and hides herself under the disguise of beginning-to-pour-some-water at the nearby counter. Of course, even a person as unwilling-to-learn as Tsubame knows that the conversation between the two has gone REALLY sour, and she should... well, probably leave them alone for now.

She watches still, however, to see what happens, now that the conversation inside is not going well at all. After all, the volume that Aisia was going at...

Let's just say, she never knew Aisia can be as loud and angry sounding as she currently is.

She looks towards Saito, her face surprised, as if to ask him if Aisia has always been this way.

"A little, but no way near this bad," Saito said with a scratch of his head, just as confused as Tsubame about where this sudden burst of possessiveness had come from.

Aisia had always been a little overprotective around her significant other, but this was just getting ridiculous. They could almost perfectly make out the raised voices coming from the back room, which was definitely a sign that they should busy themselves with something else.

The odd maid and butler pair busied themselves with filling pitchers of water as fast as they could, still within earshot of the little lover's spat taking place on the other side of the door.

Both of them shared a look of surprise, the blue-eyed boy in the maid outfit unable to do anything but shrug in confusion. He was about as clueless as she was when it came to knowing what the hell was going on with those two.

"You... You don't believe me... do you."

Ayane continued to glare at her, waiting for Aisia to get out of the way as ordered.

"Why? Why don't you believe me?"

"Because I know what I heard. We all heard it! Why should I--"

"Why!? You have no right not to, Goddammit! Not when you didn't believe in me back then, not when I have every reason not to do the same with you!!!" Aisia yelled, tears streaming out of her eyes as she finally shoved past Ayane and beat the bespectacled girl to the goal of leaving the room. "Fine! Get out! I don't care anymore! You shouldn't even be here to begin with anyway!" The back door slammed behind her.

Ayane had very conflicted feelings. The part of her that wanted to leave still drove her to do so, while now she added to that an inkling to go after Aisia as well as a pure, rage-relieving desire to break something. So she did at least two of those things. It was lucky that Tsubame and Saito decided to move away from the door once the argument heated up because as soon as Aisia left Ayane slammed her foot against the door back into the café, flinging it open with enough force to slam against the wall and stress both the hinges and latch. Ignoring the sudden attention from everyone in the restaurant she stalked right out into the main area, headed for the front door.

Just before exiting she stopped and turned to spot the maid and butler who had 'helped' mend her hand. Only nodding a simple thanks for the bandage job Ayane pushed the front door open and walked, not ran, outside. She had no desire to chase her girlfriend who obviously needed some time to come up with a better excuse. If they happened to run into one another on the way, that was different.

Seriously, what sort of stupid excuse is feigning amnesia? You can't do that right after saying something, it doesn't work that way. If she'd just apologize...! Argh! Why am I so mad about it!? Whatever the reason, she definitely was angry. She wasn't sure exactly what she was angry about--too many unfortunate events had piled up within the last few minutes--but she couldn't calm herself down.

If she made it home without running into Aisia, though... the sight of her bed might whittle away some of that anger. After all, eventually Aisia would have to come home... and Ayane had a feeling that tonight they would not be sharing a matress. I guess... I'll use the top bunk tonight.
