Ayane could tell by the catty grins on her caretakers' faces that her cover was completely blown now, so rather than argue about it she shook her right hand at them as a reminder that she was still very much bleeding and standing there grinning wasn't going to dress the wound any faster. "I... I'm not sure if I got this right, but," Aisia said over the phone as Ayane listened intently, "Invaders are supposed to be people who were... once human. I've seen the black and red ones from back then, but... is there some kind of special one that's colored brown?" Ayane's brows furrowed. She'd never seen nor heard of one like that. All the ones she'd seen were definitely either black or red, nothing else. Maybe back in the 60's there were other types of Invaders but now there were definitely only two types she ran into. So what was Aisia talking about? "There was someone in a trenchcoat at work just like that, but he still seemed somewhat human... yet the way he crushed the parfait in his hand worried me... what if he was to suddenly turn into something else?" Oh. Ayane now realized what Aisia was talking about and would have put her palm to her face were it not cut by the very glass that Aisia was talking about on the other end of the line. I didn't think of that when I picked out the outfit. Oh, Aisia... It was actually pretty funny, and she started to chuckle a little despite herself. This was a story she'd never be able to tell, so she had to enjoy it now. "I'm sorry... I know this sounds ridiculous, and it's probably nothing... but I want to play it safe. I also don't want to raise any alarms and I don't want to be rude to that person if he really is just normal. I need to be sure." "Don't worry, Aisia," Ayane said with a smile, "There's no such thing as a brown Invader. I'm sure whatever happened was just an accident." Then she added a little something... for insurance. As long as Aisia was on the phone believing her, may as well try to lay out an escape route! "It'll be fine, so just let him get his hand treated and head home, then forget about it." Ayane was the master of stealth. |

Oho~ So her guess is spot on, eh? That'd explain a whole lot of things, including why the glasses are shattered in the first place. She could see, too, from behind the glasses, that this person has somewhat gave up on trying to actually fight or argue against them, and decides to actually get the treatment that he needs on the wound. He, or she, whatever. That's not even the main point right now. The main point is, Aisia's lover is here to see her, in secret, and is trying to remain in secret. Well that'd be no fun~ Tsubame brings out the real medkit from the back of the staffroom, and checks the wound carefully. Given that there are possibly shards there that needs be taken care of in a hospital, it may be better off if they actually go into a hospital after this. With that thought in mind, Tsubame made a donut-shaped supporter that encircles the wound, and wraps the bandages around her palm. Yes, her. This is no man's hand. She then proceeds to interrupt the phone call a little bit, trying to hang Ayane's palm above her heart from the shoulder in an elevated sling. Now now. The stupid trenchcoat is in the way. Conveniently. "Ano~ Master? Would you mind taking your trenchcoat off? It's rather hard for Tsu to actually treat this properly if you don't…" The girl says, her lips almost just 2 inches away from Ayane's other ear, making her voice rather audible to the other side of the phone as well. Conveniently. |

Damnit! The whole point of whisking Ayane away into the apparent safety of the back rooms was to slowly torture her, keep her unsure of whether or not they were actually going to tell Aisia who she was so that they could get as much fun as possible out of this whole situation. While Tsubame's approach was no doubt hilarious, it was all going to be over far too quickly! Well, damn, if it's gonna be ruined anyway.....might as well go all out! "Tsu's right, Master. After all, how can we treat you properly when you're still in those hot and stuffy clothes~?" Saito said in the most seductive voice he could muster, draping himself over Ayane's free side and reaching down to unbutton the trenchcoat ever so slowly, doing it more to unnerve the poor girl than out of any real perverted intent. This could also turn out pretty fun if we keep pushing it! he thought to himself, shooting his fellow 'maid' a conspiratorial grin in front of Ayane's face, almost as if to ask 'hey, what's next?'. |

Aisia sighed in relief. "Ahhh, that's a relief! I was worried that it was an actual Invader," she said. "Allright, sorry for bugging you. And thanks for letting me know, that really makes me feel better. Anyway, I better go back to-" "Ano~ Master? Would you mind taking your trenchcoat off? It's rather hard for Tsu to actually treat this properly if you don't…" Aisia stopped for a second when she heard the errant voice. "Eh? Ayane? Who the hell was that?" "Tsu's right, Master. After all, how can we treat you properly when you're still in those hot and stuffy clothes~?" ... Two? TWO EFFEMINATE VOICES? And they called her MASTER!? ... Aisia blinked a bit at that. She... heard something about a trenchcoat, and the last voice said something about Tsu. The only Tsu that she knew was Tsubame, and she was treating a customer in the back for his wounds - ... Aisia facepalmed, inhaled deeply, hung up, and closed her eyes. Seconds later, a pink magic circle would appear behind Ayane, Tsubame, and Saito, followed by the appearance of a girl in a butler's outfit who suddenly asked, "... Ayane, why the hell did you just try to sneak into work today in a goddamn ridiculous outfit?" |

As Aisia continued to speak her relief on the other end, Tsubame handily dealt with the cuts on Ayane's hand. She was grateful for the care but on the same token really wanted both the treatment and this phone call to end. Right when it seemed she was about to get both things she wanted, though, everything blew up in her face more spectacularly than any firework crafter could ever dream of engineering. "Allright, sorry for bugging you. And thanks for letting me know, that really makes me feel better. Anyway, I better go back to--" Aisia was saying, making Ayane sigh in her mind with relief. Just as she prepared to say her good-bye, though, the call was interrupted by Tsubame who had leaned in to sling up her hand. Supposedly it would be to keep the wound elevated above her heart, but Ayane had to wonder if that was really necessary for something minor. "Ano~ Master? Would you mind taking your trenchcoat off? It's rather hard for Tsu to actually treat this properly if you don't…" Tsubame said with a grin, leaning right up against the phone's microphone just under Ayane's chin. Ayane stared down in disbelief, knowing exactly what this maid-in-butler's-clothing was doing. To make things even worse suddenly Saito draped himself over her back and began to unbutton her coat. She let out a shriek, which was followed by the sound of a sigh on the other end of the line and the click of the call being dropped. Uh oh. "... Ayane, why the hell did you just try to sneak into work today in a goddamn ridiculous outfit?" said Aisia, whose voice was no longer distorted by the microphone and speaker of a cellular connection. After all, she had just teleported right behind them. Unable to turn around because Tsubame and Saito were hanging over her she instead gave the best reply she could under the circumstances. "Aisia, h-help get these two off of me! I'll tell you after!" Why? Why does this always happen to me!? |

Tsubame merely smirks at Saito when she recognizes that both of their intention were similar. For now, at least, she thought they'd keep on pushing it, just a little bit. "Please, Master, don't keep on moving~ Tsu won't be able to do what I need to if you continue to struggle~" The girl says, as she tries "very hard" to put the sling on, all while Saito tries to unbutton the trenchcoat. Of course, for the Aisia who just walked in, it looks really, really awkward. She then turns her head around, when she hears that Aisia came in. Of course, she knew that Aisia was going to come in. It is not like Tsubame didn't know Aisia has succeeded in receiving the message that "some person of your interest is here". "Oh, Aisia san~ Master refuses to stay put to let me properly take care of'im~ Can you help~?" The girl says, overlapping whatever Ayane was trying to say, and uses her body to block out part of Ayane's expression and mouth gesture from Aisia's view, hopefully muting the "victim" in the process. Of course, she has a "legitimate reason" for doing so- she slips a towel across Ayane's neck, cushioning the sling from touching the girl's neck and rubbing against her skin. After she is done talking, too, the girl shifts from her standing position to a kneeling position, as she tries to unbutton the lower buttons of Ayane's trench coat to shove a towel padding against Ayane's chest to make sure that the sling doesn't burden Ayane's chest area. Again, a legitimate procedure in a real first-aid treatment, but from Aisia's point of view? It may be… again, rather awkward. And let's not even talk about how Ayane may feel. "Awww, you're no fun, showing up so soon! You're not even going to play along with her silly little outfit~?" Saito said over Ayane's shoulder to Aisia, standing back up with a sigh of disappointment that their fun was going to be cut so tragically short. A little teasing here and there was perfectly fine, but this situation was already plenty awkward for almost everyone involved as is, so there wasn't any need to inflame things any further. "Well, if you three ladies have got this under control, I'm gonna get back to work," the crossdressed familiar said with a curtsy and a bow, not really wanting any part of this awkwardness when he could just shut up and get his work for the day over with. He pissed off the angry Fudoites often enough without resorting to dirty tactics, and it just wasn't worth it to push his luck while wearing a goddamn dress. |

The old Aisia would have just sighed at watching her friends trying to tease Ayane for coming here in such a particularly suspicious outfit, and would have summarily tried to help Tsubame in undressing her girlfriend if for no other reason than because she looked particularly stupid in a trenchcoat that seemed several sizes too large for her. But there was now something very different about this Aisia, and she herself wouldn't be able to realize it just yet. "... Get your damn hands off my woman." Forget how Ayane felt right now, Aisia suddenly felt a surge of anger at seeing Tsubame trying to undo Ayane's heavy clothing. Saito was a bit lucky in this regard, as he began to move away as soon as she saw them. At this point, Ayane might have noticed, even if she couldn't see Aisia, that there was something strange in the way Aisia said it. How... possessive it sounded, for one, and also the brief, but very sharp, flash of anger in the way she said it. They were only seven simple words, but they held a lot of venom for the one who kept trying to undress Ayane. And unless anyone in the room said something, Aisia seemed dangerously close to being in the state she was just a few minutes ago when she was dealing with the rowdy customers. |

Ayane blushed as Tsubame tried to push a towel up under her bust to prevent the sling from chafing. Except that it was entirely unnecessary for a wound this minor to sling her arm, let alone put towels around her neck and bust. Had she shattered a major bone or something perhaps, but this was something that a few bandages and a night's rest would cure. "S-Stop that, I'm fine! I don't need a sling, just--!" "... Get your damn hands off my woman." Chills ran down Ayane's back despite the layers of clothing she wore as a disguise. The sound of Aisia's voice hoarsely making demands of Tsubame coupled with the possessive, alpha nature of the phrase itself had her scared senseless. She had heard Aisia jealous before, sure! She had even heard her tell people to lay off, or get mad! She had never before, however, heard her so plainly demand that people remove themselves from her woman. She felt... hurt. She'd never been so plainly called a 'thing' before. It wasn't 'girlfriend', it wasn't 'lover'... it was 'woman'. Aisia's woman. "Ts..Tsubame... can you leave... Aisia and I alone, for a while?" Ayane said with a quivering voice, needing to resolve this situation swiftly. For one, she needed to make sure that Aisia's anger didn't result in any injuries. For another... she needed to lay down a ground rule she never thought she'd have to clarify. |

Tsubame smirks. Instead of being scared out of her mind, because of how Aisia sound completely different, she smirked. She was actually entertained by this. Though, even she knows when to stop pushing the buttons, before she pushes it too far and turns this into a circumstance of violence (which, she judges, will happen very easily if she continues to push it). Therefore, after Aisia's voice drops, the girl conveniently drops her hands off Ayane, with the final touch of straightening the cloth out around Ayane's shoulder, and backs off. "Hai hai~ Gotcha~" As if she was completely defeated by the strong tones that Aisia was using, or as if she knew where her boundary is, the girl backs off, in both her words and her actions. She turns around, with her still-cheerful-as-usual grin on, and backs away from Ayane on the seat. "By the way, you should clear up about earlier, too~" The girl drops a note, looking back and giving Aisia a note at Ayane's palm. She then walks out of the room- almost jogs out of the room- before grabbing onto the door handle. "Make sure if your girl's wound doesn't stop bleeding, promptly sends her to check it out, neh~" Now finally referring to Ayane as a 'she', the girl closes the door behind them, leaving Ayane and Aisia alone in the staff room. If there is anything great about Tsubame that others would not get, is that she really doesn't have… the normal sense of social interactions. Instead, she finds more joy in poking at people, and pushing their buttons. Regardless. Outside of the staff room, the maid-butler grabs onto Saito, with a =3 expression on her face. Not-learning-her-lesson has been written all over her ace. "Uwah~ Aisia-san too has a rather scary face, neh~ Cute, too, but scary." The girl comments, "Were they dating for a long time?" ... No, she was not learning her lesson at all. More like, she didn't feel the need to learn at all. |

"Pretty much as long as I can remember, yeah... ...and whattaya mean, were? Sounded like they're still a thing to me," Saito answered, trying to wriggle out of his coworker's grip about as gracefully as a dude wearing a dress and heels was able to. ...that is, it looked like an angry bull in a china shop with all the falling over and flailing about, but it just wouldn't do to have such a cute 'butler' hanging off him in the middle of the cafe! Realising that this was going to get a lot worse before it got any better, he resigned himself to being Tsubame's captive until she was done with her trouble-making and relaxed, a sly smile creeping across his face. "Now, see, you're going about this all the wrong way! With those two, you gotta take it slower! It's all about the little laughs, not jumping right on 'em!" he said as he adjusted the bow on his dress for the twenty millionth time today, trying to keep the damn thing from coming undone under the manic butler's grip! |

Ayane stood completely still and waited for the sound of the door closing behind Tsubame before starting. Eyeing the bandage around her right hand she turned around with one step, swiftly enough that the massive trenchcoat--now unbuttoned--whirled about her and for just a moment made her appear larger than she was. Which was good; she needed as much strength as she could get. "Aisia, I... am not... your woman." She began immediately with that. Tsubame was right that they should probably clear up the reason why Ayane was even there in the first place, how she hurt her hand, why she tried to cover it up all number of other problems. None of those were what Ayane chose to deal with. She was still in a state of shock and being called a possession was washing everything else away. "What's wrong with you? I've never heard you say anything like that. It's... you're scaring me." After all, if she would say something like that to a friend... what about someone who wasn't a friend? |

As soon as Tsubame let go of Ayane, a switch was slowly being thrown. Fortunately for Tsubame, it seemed to be in favor of her not getting possibly assaulted for touching Ayane "inappropriately" as it were. There was still that smirk on her face when she angrily told her to back off though, so that served to keep the anger underneath from dying out completely. "Ts... Tsubame... can you leave... Aisia and I alone, for a while?" As soon as Ayane spoke in a quivering voice that seemed to have a scared, if not angry, emotion underneath, the switch was thrown completely. Aisia was back to her usual self. And they were suddenly alone. Ayane stood up, and, perhaps taking a queue from Otoha's book of "Dynamic Entry 101", spun violently enough to make the trenchcoat whirl around her. "Aisia, I... am not... your woman." "... Eh?" Aisia was confused. "What's wrong with you? I've never heard you say anything like that. It's... you're scaring me." Now Aisia's confusion reached its peak and she frowned at Ayane. "Wait... I... what?" She shook her head at that. "Wait a second. What... what did I say just now? I was just... angry for some reason, but... I don't remember saying anything." If Ayane was scared by what Aisia said, Aisia was scared by what she didn't remember saying. At least to Ayane's credit, it seemed that the issue of showing up to her work in such a ridiculous getup was on the backburner for now. |

"Huh!?" Ayane's surprise wasn't honest--it was sarcastic, filled with disbelief and distrust instead of sympathy and confusion. "You called me your woman! You... you turn me into some possession, then turn around and pretend you didn't say anything!? Are you trying to be cute? It's not working, Aisia." She stepped closer to Aisia, staring down with pity and anger in her eyes. "Apologize. And don't... ever call me that again." Never mind that she didn't belong here. Never mind that she was spying, and being a selfish, jealous lover. Never mind that they were at Aisia's workplace while Aisia was still on the clock. Ayane wouldn't be satisfied until she heard an honest apology. That much was clear from the anger burning behind her glasses as if Aisia's rage had exchanged hosts. |

"And I'm telling you, I don't remember saying anything like that!" Aisia wasn't mad at Ayane for being angry, but that was mostly because she was more confused than angry. "I only remember being angry and wanting to say something, but... did I really say something like that out loud!?" She staggered a bit and tried to lean back on something to support herself. "Look, I'm sorry if I said something like that, but... I really don't remember!" |
