"Hey, why don't you come with us?"
"Ummm... I can't..."
"Oh come on, it's not like you have a boyfriend, do you?"
"I don't, but-"
"Then come on! We can go after you work! Or maybe you'd like to skip it, eh?"

Aisia Asakura normally didn't have trouble dealing with miscreants like these two men. You know the cliche'd type - delinquents who harass the girls who work at the Cafe simply because they're cute. She'd dealt with something like that before when she first arrived here at Hyakuji when a thug was once harassing a young man and his catgirl girlfriend. But when the time came to protect herself, it was a different matter, especially given that she was currently working and that any overt action in the cafe might cause trouble not only for herself, but for others.

"I'm sorry, sirs, but I have to get back to work," Aisia said, but was suddenly stopped by the hand of one of the men who tired to hit on her.
"Hey, hey, you can do your job here, right?" one of the men, a guy with spiky brown hair and tattoos on his arm chuckled as he kept her in place.
Aisia's eyes registered fear at the touch of his hand, but it slowly contorted into anger.
... You better let go, or so help me, I will end you.

Things would get ugly fast unless someone stopped the commotion.

For once, Tsubame is not in the cute-younger-sister maid costume that she usually wears for work and as a persona.

This is ButlerxMaid Crossing day that someone has apparently came up with to try and make work more fun and less embarrassing for the maids, as well as a new eye-catching refreshness to the store, really. Apparently, the cafe is usually better off during these special days, where there is a theme or something going on. Though, part of why most of the girls here work here as maids are due to the cute outfit as maids, so this day is not quite as popular and prominent, really.

For Tsubame, however, she is having a very, very nice, relaxed day at work, because, for once, she does not have to worry about Osiris coming into the store, embarrass the hell out of her, and have something to say to her later on- the previous one was bad. Verrry bad.

This is actually one of the days that Tsubame has work with Aisia, and on top of that, paired along with the girl. While they don't usually talk to each other, Tsubame doesn't mind getting partnered up with her. After all, Aisia is one of those that have a little more sense in her mind in Tsubame's books, to be honest. All the other girls? Eh, not interesting enough.

Seriously, the only ones that are really interesting enough for her to interact with are Kira and Tomo, and among them, she is trying not to be in several thousands shifts with Kira right now, and Tomo just... well, hates her Tsu-chan personality. So~

Up until this point, there is not much interaction between Tsubame and Aisia, really, because they have been working on their own tables, unspokenly divided, and has not really had much interactions. Still, when there are some stirs on Aisia's side, Tsubame would still look up and check on the girl.

And she did.

... Well, what now.

The floramancer frowns her brows when she notices that there are customers that is causing troubles, and contemplated.

While she doesn't like to stand out, if the customers start to act out of their place, it becomes troublesome for herself and the restaurant, even though this is only something that Aisia is in charged of. And in turns, since Aisia and her are in the same team, they may get into trouble together.

Also, knowing that this is Hyakuji, and that Aisia is indeed a Hyakujian student, and noticing that she may not have all the patience in the earth, there is a chance that this becomes out of hand fast.

Besides, something new and fun comes into mind.

The girl quickly cleans up the table, and dumps away the cleaning cloth at the counter. She hit her hands together to clean off any possible dirts that she may have on her hands, and approaches Aisia from behind.

"Excuse me~" The girl says, grinning a gentle-to-childish smile, and enters the scene with her long pony tail behind her, her glasses firmly on her nose bridge, and her tidy, neat butler uniform.

She softly brushes Aisia's arm, where the thug has laid his hand on her, and grabs Aisia's arm in place of hers. She turns the girl around, and forces the girl to fall onto her instead, her right leg behind her supporting her, so that both of them won't fall from the weight.

The thug would, on the other hand, feels a numbing, needle-pinning feeling at where he has been brushed, which would cause him to instinctively get go, and the pain will quickly fade away.

What the guys would find in front of them, actually, is a rather... fan-service scene that is commonly seen around maid cafes that has a lot of girls working in it, be it true or not. It is, actually, a sort-of industry standard for girls to save themselves, and each other. Normally, Tsubame wouldn't use it simply because most regulars know well enough as to whether or not she is straight or not, and some even knows that she has a boyfriend, or at least a male love interest.

But then again, these guys are not even regulars. At least, this is the first time that Tsubame remember seeing them, even though she has a great memory of people especially- and she has worked often enough to see a lot of customers.

"I am sorry, customers, but this girl is taken." The girl looks up, a cheshire cat's grin upon her lips, and her glasses shielding her eyes with a cute, smiling smile.

Before Aisia could unleash some kind of hurt on the patrons, someone stepped in to stop her, though to be fair, it was mostly meant to stop them. She gasped as Tsubame stepped in to take her wrist instead of the man's and pulled her close to her. The action was so fast that she didn't even have time to blush, or protest, for that matter.

"I am sorry, customers, but this girl is taken," Tsubame said with a grin.
The men who were harassing Aisia made a sort of disappointed clicking noise with their teeth. "Fine. We know when to quit. Come on, let's get out," he groaned, motioning to his friend and then just tossing some yen on the table for their tab. Then, without any further ado, they both just left.
"Wha..." Aisia blinked a couple of times at the sudden change in development. That actually WORKED!?

More importantly, she was kind of stuck to Tsubame. "Uhhh... thanks. That... I can't believe that actually worked," she managed to say.
Meanwhile, her shock at the bluff being that effective actually kept her from pushing herself off of Tsubame and she stayed like that in her arms.

One of the patrons two tables down from the hooligans shifted suddenly as if to get up when they took Aisia's wrist but stopped and slowly sat back down when Tsubame approached. They had a heavy trenchcoat on and an oversized brown fedora, entirely conspicuous in a room full of maids and butlers and yet successfully obscured from positive identification. Whoever it was beneath all those layers shifted uneasily in their seat and tried to return to eating their parfait only to have to spit it out awkwardly as Tsubame pulled a spectacularly dashing maneuver to drop Aisia right into her arms. The little move certainly worked, sending the hooligans packing... but there were two things which didn't sit right with this particular customer. For one, the fact that Tsubame didn't immediately release Aisia from her butler-y embrace.

Second, the particular words Tsubame had chosen. 'I am sorry, customers, but this girl is taken.' They were simple words, words which taken in a more general context were entirely true. Aisia Asakura was taken. In fact, this patron knew fully well that Aisia Asakura was no longer on the playing field... and that was what made the scene that much more infuriating. While Tsubame hadn't lied outright, she had implied that Aisia was hers. That just didn't sit well. It didn't sit well at all.

Crack. The parfait glass began to buckle from the death-like grip.

Hurry up and get away from her... the not-so-stealthy customer thought as her shadow-covered eyes remained focused just past the brim of the fedora on Tsubame and Aisia. If it weren't her job at risk, I'd...! After all, this customer was here today in all that secretive clothing not for friendly parfaits and the opportunity to become a savior of the staff. No, it was the lure of Maids and Butlers having switched places. The thought of Aisia Asakura in a butler uniform and Saito Hiraga wearing a frilly maid outfit was too good a thought to avoid.

Instead, so far there were no less than three people who were dangerously close to become part of an unfortunate accident that the authorities would likely be forced to blame on a freak gas main explosion. It would be considered a miracle that more people weren't hurt.

Craaaaack.... CRACK! The glassware proved no longer effective against the customer's iron fist, relenting with a loud splintering of glass. The cool sensation of parfait all over her hands mixed with the searing pain of glass shards slicing her skin.

"Ow!"

Ayane Isuzu had certainly not come here to cut her hand on a broken parfait glass. Whoever added it to her daily agenda should apologize.

Well this is…. amusing.

The gentle smile that Tsubame had earlier on, and the slightly more death-ensuing glance that the girl has under her glasses quickly dissipates as soon as the guys left. Instead, there is a rather mischievous grin on the girl's face, along with a funny-looking glance that she is giving to her co-worker.

To be honest, Tsubame wasn't sure how well it would have worked, given that she herself has not used this before. She was always in the position of the to-be-protected, that she was never in the appropriate position to do it to someone else. Fan-service styled defense, they call it, but it is not usually in her character setting to do such thing. Today, though, it's different, and that's the only reason why she could pull it off.

She had originally planned a few other things, such as making use of the powder that she has scattered on the man's skin to paralyze his hand, or to somehow put him to sleep, and all sorts of good stuff. But since they have left without creating any troubles, no such thing is really needed, thank goodness.

Though, at the same time, she was given something else. Something, well, more amusing.

Tsubame couldn't really move from her position right now, actually, given that her foot is basically supporting the weigh of both people. She kind of need her co-worker to stand up first. But, there is such a fan-service scene, and this is such a good opportunity to get to know this woman better, and possibly tease a little, she doesn't quite want to let the opportunity go.

Basically said, the day has been boring, sadly, and she needs something to spice it up.

And yes, indeed, she is amused.

"You'd be surprised, actually," The girl says, her tone now back to the "normal" Tsu-chan that Aisia has come to know. She also lets Aisia's hand go, and proceeds to hover her hand near Aisia's arm, just to make sure that Aisia won't fall over if she happens to decide to slump over her foot and what not.

"Now, while Tsu doesn't mind taking a beautiful maid like Aisia-san, don't you think we are creating a scene here~?" Her tone mischievous and borderline suggestive, the girl asks, all while maintaining her postures so that they don't both fall over onto the ground.

… At least, that's until she heard a crack of glassware around, and she looks towards the direction of the sound of "ow". The mischievous glance quickly disappears again, and her eyes flares caution from the sudden sound.

A frown is introduced into the expression, however, when she notices that this person, whoever it is that cut his/her hand, is suspiciously dressed. While she would like to actually go over and provide her assistance, since the girl IS sitting around her area, her foot is starting to go numb from supporting two people's weigh.

Seriously. While she does like to tease, she sincerely mean it when she wants Aisia to get off of her. Please.

Cafe Mahou was by far the busiest Saito Hiraga had ever seen it, and perfectly in line with his abysmal luck, it just so happened to be on the day that all of the female and male employees traded uniforms. The massive influx of customers was a good thing, though, considering that it meant the place was so crowded that his...slightly different than usual clothing went largely unnoticed. If he kept his head down and just kept working as fast as he could, maybe he would get through this unscathed and with his pride intact.

CRACK!

...or not. The sound of breaking glass from somewhere just behind him caused Saito to spin around in surprise...and promptly fall onto his ass, not being at all used to walking in the high heels that had come with the outfit he was being forced to wear.

That in itself would have been pretty damned embarassing, but judging by the ridiculous disguise and the way they were staring intently in the direction of Aisia and a girl he didn't really recognise, there was only one person that could have been responsible for that little mishap.

And if there was one thing that he enjoyed enough to trade in whatever dignity that could have been salvaged from that, it was teasing the ever-living hell out of one Ayane Isuzu.

Putting on the biggest smile he could muster under the circumstances, the slightly unsteady familiar made his way over to her table from behind, placing a hand on her shoulder and leaning in as close as he could.

"Are you okay, sir? You seem a little...mad?"

Well, it seemed that the cracking of glass dispelled Aisia's disbelief enough for her to straighten herself out. That wasn't too hard to do, since she too was in a butler's outfit, which was almost the exact same attire Ayane wore during the Prom. It kind of just dawned on her at this point at how simple men's clothes were compared to women's clothes, and briefly wondered if that's why Ayane wore them more often, but that was an issue for another time.

"By the way, it's 'butler' for today," Aisia chuckled at Tsubame. "Still, it kind of feels a bit weird, having to wear-"
It was then that she saw something very suspicious. Right at the where the sound of the glass cracking came from, was a suspicious trench coat wearing figure who had glasses on.

"..."

Now to someone else who had more experience in this matter, they could tell the differences. The usual ones wore a black trench coat and shades, not ordinary glasses, as this one seemed to be wearing. But this was enough to raise an alarm for Aisia.

After all, if there were such things as a red Invader, then a brown one wasn't too far off.

She was hesitant to do anything though, especially in the cafe. For one, the "Invader" wasn't causing any trouble, other than possibly breaking the glass that held his parfait. She was worried though that someone who didn't know how to handle these sort of things - namely Saito, in this case - might cause the Invader to actually react.

Besides, what if it was just someone normal - though really, what sort of person would do so in the middle of the day - who wore a trenchcoat?
"... Tsubame-san, I have a request. I need you to cover me. There's something suspicious about him... if anything happens to me and Saito-san, I want you to be prepared for it. I hope I'm wrong though..."

With that, Aisia approached the two.
"Are you okay, sir? You seem a little...mad?" Saito asked, putting his hand on the customer's shoulder as he did.
OI! GODDAMMIT, WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING!? Aisia angrily thought to herself, almost slipping on the floor as she did. If this was just someone in a trench coat, then perhaps it was allright, but if it was something else entirely!...
"Sir, would you like me to get a replacement for your parfait while Saito-chan gets something for your hand?" Aisia said in her usual cheery voice, but the emphasis on the word "chan" plus the brief scowl on her face that said "DANGER, WILL ROBINSON, GET THE HELL OUT OF HERE" would hopefully give Saito the hint.

... Then again, some dogs weren't quick to learn new tricks.

Ayane had already begun to try to clean herself up a bit by the time Saito approached, not worrying about the parfait mess on the table but instead on her hand. A light dabbling of napkin to get the cool white sugary substance off and reveal the thin wounds beneath followed by a gentle tug to pull the large piece of glass that had gotten stuck out. It stung, but she'd had experienced much worse. Biting her lip to keep herself from making sound she took a second napkin and pressed it into the wound, clenching her fist around the paper. It would have to do as a temporary bandage. She'd just apologize to whoever stopped by her table and leave them a generous tip to clean up the mess.

"Are you okay, sir? You seem a little...mad?" asked the maid who had reached her table first, placing a hand on Ayane's shoulder. Of course, today being trade-in day that meant the maid was a guy who was trying to do his best girly voice in that maid outfit and touching her.

"N-No, I--" Ayane tried to reply in a deep, gruff voice, turning to glance at who it was. Her words fell just as flat as the maid's chest seeing who it was--Saito Hiraga. It was exactly who she wanted to see in that outrageous getup, yet taking a chance to laugh would completely blow her cover. For now, she had to hold it in. Quickly turning away she used her unscathed left hand to tug the fedora lower over her eyes. "I'm f-fine, thank you. I must be going--"

"Sir, would you like me to get a replacement for your parfait while Saito-chan gets something for your hand?"

That voice. That voice! The person she was avoiding by wearing this ensemble! Why had Aisia come over here!? Having Saito see her was bad enough, but running into Aisia like this was very, very bad! Calm down, calm down. Just play it along. You'll be fine. "No, I'll be leaving. Sorry for the mess." Throwing down a 2000 yen bill she tried to stand and push her way past Saito and Aisia as quickly and steathily as possible. By now, the whole cafe must be looking. She had to get out of there, fast!

Tsubame giggles a little, when Aisia commented that they are both butlers today. Well, well, she didn't get it, did she? But that's quite alright. It's better, sometimes, for her teasing opponent to be oblivious. After all, there is no tell as to whether or not she'd get hit over by a mantle or not if she keeps this up. At least, she knows that this kind of jokes are not really appreciated sometimes.

Almost just as she turns and tries to respond to the big "THUD" she hears on the ground made by Saito, who is, conveniently dressed as a maid and gave some fanservice, Aisia pushes herself off her and turns around with a cautious eyes. For some reason, Aisia seems to be really cautious as to what happened, or who that person in trenchcoat really is. An enemy of hers, perhaps?

Tsubame merely stays behind, and lets Aisia take the stage in defending the cafe. She fixes her glasses, and merely watches as this slightly more strange scene unfolds in front of her.

"Your wishes is my command, lady~" Almost sing-songish, Tsubame replies. From the way that she says it, it's rather hard to determine whether or not Tsubame is really serious or not, or if she even has the ability to, if Aisia needed it, back the girl up. The only thing that Aisia can really gather from this is that Tsubame is just being…. the playful, cheerful, sometimes-too-silly Tsu-chan that she always is.

And, while Aisia is so much on alert against this customer, Tsubame can almost tell that it is not so much the case. She stares at the table and the broken glasses from behind Aisia and Saito, and her cheshire cat's grin appears.

Why, doesn't that look like something that was destroyed out of frustration? After all, it'd be weird for a cup just suddenly explode in that way, if it was going to be broken in, say, a fall.

If she recalled correctly, too, it was almost directly in between she pulled Aisia away from the thugs, and the thugs leaving, that the shattering of the glasses was heard. And, on top of that, when she looks at her own area from where she is standing now, which is also about where the customer would have seen the scene unfolded, that may look… Yeah.

And by the way that she is reacting to Aisia's speaking to her? It is so suspiciously sounding that it is as if this person knows Aisia, and is on a secret mission to check on her or something- it is as if she is trying to avoid a direct contact with Aisia, really.

"My my, that's way too much for Master's meal~" Before the person in trenchcoat can leave, she steps into the way and blocks Ayane from walking away from the scene- after all, the corridors are only that wide. "And it seems that Master's hand hasn't stop bleeding yet, too, so why don't Master stay put for a little bit, and let Tsu-chan take care of it for you~?"

And with that said, Tsubame has already pulled out her first-aid kit from underneath her waist-apron, and approaches the mysterious person in a way that almost forces him/her to sit right back down.

Not good, not good, not good!

As much as Saito enjoyed making Ayane's life as miserable as he possibly could, there was surprisingly a limit to his bastardry. It was obvious that she had worn that ridiculous 'disguise' so that Aisia wouldn't recognise her and make a fuss, but here she was, the little blonde butler trying to make amends for their customer's injury while they were trying oh so hard to leave. A flawless escape was definitely off the cards for the poor gatekeeper considering the way the staff were gathering around her, and Tsubame bearing down on her with a first-aid kit sourced from god knows where did nothing to help that chance.

"W-wait a minute, I've got a better idea. We've gotta get all that glass out, so why don't I take this gentleman to the break room so we don't disturb the other customers?" Saito said with a lot more optimism than the situation really called for, grabbing Ayane's wrist tightly with his left hand and tugging at it to try and get her to follow him. It was less out of any real desire to help her out and more so that he could have her in his debt, but he had to try and prevent Aisia from figuring out what was going on!

Well, so far so good. It seemed that this "Invader" was looking less and less like one, especially since he wasn't reacting dangerously to her request to stay for another parfait, and wanted to just leave.

... Still, such an act was very suspicious - who in their right mind wouldn't accept a replacement parfait, even if it got ruined by broken glass? Why was he in a hurry to leave?

Now, other things came to mind. Was this in reality some kind of Invader who stealthily converted humans into something like them? Or was it a lot more mundane and he was just someone who was trying to be inconspicuous but failing due to being dressed otherwise? It somehow felt more and more natural for it to be the latter at this point.

Which was why when Saito offered to take him back to their break room to treat his wound, she let him.
"Allright. Sir, don't worry about it, Saito-chan and Tsubame-san will take good care of you," she said as she let them take him to the back, and she began to start cleaning the table.

... However, as soon as he was inside the break room and she was done, she asked one of the other maids to cover for her as she ran outside and called Ayane.
... She needed to make sure that there was no such thing as a Brown Invader, no matter how someone out there would like to use that term in an entirely different context.

"My my, that's way too much for Master's meal~" said the butler who had been holding Aisia earlier, stepping in Ayane's way so suddenly that the trenchcoat-wearing girl bumped straight into her and rebounded back a step. Why were they getting in her way!? She just wanted to leave, wouldn't that healthy tip be enough of a reason to let her continue on!? Apparently not. This 'Tsu-chan' person didn't want to let her leave until her wound had been tended.

Dang it! she thought, closing her eyes and trying to think of a good way out of here. Turning down hospitality when your hand was starting to bleed through the napkin you'd stuffed in your palm wouldn't be a good reason. She needed an emergency, something that was more important than dripping blood all over the floor. Yet nothing came to mind.

"W-wait a minute!" Saito said, taking Ayane's left wrist. "I've got a better idea. We've gotta get all that glass out, so why don't I take this gentleman to the break room so we don't disturb the other customers?" he suggested, pulling her along before the others could really go along with it. Since that was a better idea than the nothing Ayane was coming up with, she followed him.

"Allright," Aisia conceded, calling after them. "Sir, don't worry about it, Saito-chan and Tsubame-san will take good care of you." She then gave a slight bow and turned to clean up the parfait mess on Ayane's table. Giving her one last glance Ayane sighed and followed Tsubame and Saito into the break room.

Of course, now the problem was that she had traded everyone finding out who she was for these two finding out who she was. It was better than Aisia knowing she'd been in there spying on her but not by much. So even as she held out her right hand for Tsubame and Saito to tend to, her left hand kept the rim of her hat tugged down over her face. The longer she could try to keep her identity a secret the better.

That effort would last about three seconds.

Ayane's ringtone echoed through the break room, actually making her gasp and jump a little. So much for keeping a low profile and hiding her identity. Unable to keep the weak camoflauge up Ayane reached into her left-front pocket and pulled out her personal cell phone. Who could possibly be calling me at a time like--

[ AISIA ]
Flipping the phone open Ayane held it to her ear, wondering why Aisia was calling her even though she'd last seen her cleaning the table. Had she really finished that quickly? Even if so, why? "A-Aisia? What's wrong, calling me while you're at work..."

Tsubame pauses her hands for a minute when Saito interrupts, and merely listens on, a little confused, then nods in agreement. "Oh, wow. Tsu can't believe she didn't even think about that! Good call Saito-chan!"

The floramancer follows the two into the break room, just slightly behind all of them, simply to try and keep a channel of both sides of the matter. While she didn't really wanna let this mysterious person go immediately, at least they are simply retreating to the break room, so all the fun can continue from there on. After all, it'd be rather amusing to find out who this mysterious person is, what purpose does he have with Aisia, and, well, just get a kick out of it. After all, it seems very much so that he doesn't' want Aisia to know who he is.

The cheshire cat's smile appears again at the corner of the girl's face, when she saw Aisia running out of the cafe, walked towards the break room, and heard the ringtone from the break room. It is almost like… Well, it would be too coincidental if the gentleman has picked up a phone-call at the same time that Aisia left, right?

"A-Aisia? What's wrong, calling me while you're at work…"

The prankster's smile pulls even wider and more mischievous, as she takes the official medkit of the cafe out from the cabinet, and puts it onto the table. It is very apparent that her eyes are sparkling with joy of potential parking, even though her hands are starting to do the essential procedures of getting ready to clean up Ayane's wound, such as wearing gloves, taking out scissors and bandages and all that good stuff.

At the meantime, she also throws a glance at Saito.

Does Saito somehow knows the relationship between these two, too?

This is getting fun~

Even though they had managed to get off the cafe floor and into the empty back rooms, Ayane was still far from being out of the woods just yet. Apart from the fact that her outfit was drawing suspicion instead of deflecting it, there was also the teeny-tiny little issue of her hand being cut to hell and back.

Not only did those little marks prevent her from leaving until they were treated due to the whole 'liability' thing, it only raised another question to join the growing pile in Saito's head. How in the hell was she going to explain those cuts to Aisia? Why was she wearing that goofy disguise in the first place? Just what was Tsubame planning that was worthy of that massive grin?

He would have to figure that out later, the disguised gatekeeper's ringtone blaring through the small room wasn't really helping his concentration. Besides, this was going to be far too interesting a conversation to miss! Returning his coworker's quizzical glance with a slight smirk of his own, tilting his head slightly in Ayane's direction he made a heart shape over his chest with his hands, hoping that the message would get through.

Just because he was going through the trouble of helping her avoid detection didn't mean that he wasn't going to have his own fun with this little scenario! And hell, this time, he might even have an accomplice!

"A-Aisia? What's wrong, calling me while you're at work…" Ayane answered on the other side of the line.
Aisia paused for a bit. In hindsight, it seemed... ridiculous. But it was better to be sure. "I... I'm not sure if got this right, but, Invaders are supposed to be people who were... once human. I've seen the black and red ones from back then, but... is there some kind of special one that's colored brown? There was someone in a trenchcoat at work just like that, but he still seemed somewhat human... yet the way he crushed the parfait in his hand worried me... what if he was to suddenly turn into something else?"

Aisia sighed on the other end. "I'm sorry... I know this sounds ridiculous, and it's probably nothing... but I want to play it safe. I also don't want to raise any alarms and I don't want to be rude to that person if he really is just normal. I need to be sure."

... Well, if Ayane didn't know how badly Aisia got Ayane's disguise wrong, she did now.
