You know, it has been quite a while since he had let his fist loose against something. A.K.A. beat something up. While he doesn't normally go around looking for random fights, he still has to keep himself in tip-top shape. Granted, most of the work was done by V, but V's not complaining. In fact, it had been him who had suggested that they do some special training for today. Seth wouldn't have bothered but V insisted that they do it. For who knows what. He was a bit worried when V emphasized the 'special' part. And so here they are, accompanied by Selene, whom V had picked to be their assistant for the day (though Seth did the real work of asking her), standing besides the clear running water of Seion River in the woods. This really piqued his curiosity (and apprehension). Any old gym woulda been okay for some good ol' training. Why would they need to be so far away from civilization, one has to wonder. "Alright," V said, knocking his knuckles together. "Now bring out the wyvern, I'm going against it," ... Wait, WHAT?!! Edited by Fin, Nov 16 2011, 06:03 AM.

"Remind me again, Seth-kun... why are we here?" Selene asked as they stopped by the edge of the Seion River; with the weather having already turned cold the corporate heiress was appropriately garbed in a rustic-colored jacket over a cream-colored blouse, brown plait skirt and a neck scarf that matched her skirt along with a pair of dark tan dress boots and black thigh highs. The clear, fast-flowing water of the Seion River appeared refreshing, as the corporate heiress got down on one knee next to the water's edge to dip her hand in the icy-cold river water for a few moments. "Alright," the butler said as he knocked his knuckles together. "Now bring out the wyvern, I'm going against it." "Oh right, you're here to train," the corporate heiress replied, before looking at Seth with a solemn expression on her face. "Are you sure you wish to do this? Have you any idea how dangerous this is?" she asked as she retrieved her ritual dagger, waiting for a response from Seth before she proceeded. |

"Daaa--no! Absolutely not, I have no idea how dangerous it is so I don't think I will change my mind," Well fak. What the hell was that for, you know very well how big and frikkin' dangerous that wyvern is! That thing could eat you and stomp on you and rip you to shreds and nom you in seconds! That thing is a frikkin' behemoth, you can't expect to go against a dragon in a first place! I killed two back then, so one shouldn't be too bad. It was two FAKE dragons! They're nowhere NEAR as dangerous as the real thing! "Like I care," V said curtly, shutting away the connection between him and Seth, purposefully making himself deaf to his freaked out rants. Well... to be honest he had zero intention to be 'training' at all. He wasn't here to train... he's here to let out some steam. Seth hadn't noticed it, Selene hadn't noticed it, Jameson hadn't noticed it, even the doctor hadn't noticed it, but he could feel it... his time's getting close. Don't know what he's talking about? Remind yourself what the metavirus was originally designed for. Still don't get it? Don't worry. All you have to know about is that he's actually kind of frustrated at the moment, and he wanted something to vent his anger and stuff. He purposefully picked a wyvern as his sparring partner because... well. As frustrated as he is, he's not gonna go around killing people. I mean, he wouldn't mind, but Seth would definitely not be happy--"Geh...!" A sharp bolt of pain ran through his chest. It disappeared as sudden as it appeared. ...Dammit... "Alright... let's go," V said, barely showing any reaction to the earlier anomaly in his health, raising his fist into the air and clenched it tight. He just... wanted to relax. By beating something up. |

"Daaa--no! Absolutely not, I have no idea how dangerous it is so I don't think I will change my mind," Seth replied. Sure, Selene would do her best to control the Wyvern's actions to ensure it pulls its (proverbial) punches rather than lashing out at full force - but even with its punches pulled, the corporate heiress wasn't doubting that it was still supremely dangerous, even insane to be attempting something like this. "Look at those claws! They could rip a tank apart!" Snake suddenly exclaimed, on Jen's laptop as the purple-haired girl chilled out back at her dorm while playing Crab Battle on Youtube. But, back to Seth and Selene over at the Seion River... "You know, I'm wondering if training with the Valkyrie would be a better option," Selene commented as she made a small cut on her hand with her ritual dagger, a small crimson stream trickling out of the wound as the corporate heiress lowered herself on one knee and began working on runes for her Wyvern summoning spell. "Like I care," Seth said curtly as the corporate heiress finished the last glowing rune in the circle, as a series of concentric circles and intricate patterns radiated from the runic circle. "Come hither... Wyvern!" Selene announced as she stepped away from the summoning circle's edge while a column of white light shone from the center of the circle, and the massive winged formed of the Wyvern materialized from the light... ![]() The Wyvern's eyes flashed with a faint light as it threw its head back to deliver a mighty roar as the summoning circle faded away, the spell a success. "All right, let's get the rules straight. The fight is over when I say it is," Selene said as the Wyvern lowered its head next to the corporate heiress, as she reached out with her right hand to gently stroke the side of the Wyvern's face. "Just like in a boxing match, the winner will be declared when the one who is downed fails to get up by the count of ten. And the fight is over once either you or the Wyvern go down three times, even if you can get up before a ten-count. Ready?" |

"Fair enough," He nodded, agreeing to the condition as he took his battle position. Not exactly sure what he was supposed to do against a dragon. Or was this even a good idea in the first place. I mean, that thing is huge. It was as though he was going against a giant dragon-shaped apartment or something. He could actually kill himself, to be honest. But there was nothing to stop him from telling himself that he's not actually gonna die. Besides, Selene's there to stop the wyvern if things somehow got messy. Or... she should stop it BEFORE things got messy... Meh. "Alright... come at me," He said, mirroring the same pose he did when he went against Damon's dragon back at Arcadia's Simulation Chamber, raising his hand and motioning the wyvern to take the first strike. Seth's lost hope in trying to change his mind, and went to hide in the very depth of his own head. |

"I hope I know what I'm doing," the corporate heiress muttered, taking a deep breath as she ran her fingers through her hair, pursing her lips tightly as she put her hand down, before she gave an order to the waiting Wyvern. "Wyvern, subdue him - but do not kill him or hurt him too bad," the corporate heiress said as she pointed at Seth. Responding to Selene's command the Wyvern roared loudly, commencing the battle with an intimidating posture as it spread out its wings and bared its fangs - the Wyvern's roar would be accompanied by a cacophony of cries as the few birds that hadn't migrated yet were spooked from their roosts and took to the skies, and as the last stage in its pre-fight ritual the Wyvern brought its tail up, before swinging it downwards and smashing into the ground with its tail, creating a tremor that could be felt by all those standing within ten meters of where the Wyvern's tail impacted, sending a cloud of dirt, fallen leaves and pebbles into the air and leaving behind a shallow mark on the ground where its tail had struck. And with another roar, the Wyvern commenced its attack as the beast charged towards Seth on its legs, lowering its head in an attempt to do a tackle against the boy by ramming him head-on! |

Eh... okay, this might actually be a bad idea after all... WHAM!!! Is what would have been heard had he not jumped to the side, avoiding the headbutt of the dragon completely. It wasn't exactly too hard considering that the wyvern was a lumbering giant hulking mass of armored meat. But the thing is, the wyvern is a GIANT hulking mass of armored meat. While it may be easy to anticipate it's attack considering the fact that it's huge and (sorta) slow, that thing is, well... HUGE. It's attacking range is considerable larger than his own, so he would need to move more in order to avoid the wyvern's attack. He supposed he was lucky for now... COUNTERATTACK. With the wyvern rushing past him he dug his feet into the ground, crouching low as he raised the tension on his legs, before- BOOM!!! -Almost literally exploded towards the dragon, leaving behind a fair-sized crater on the ground as he went rushing towards the dragon's side at high speed, his fist cocked back, ready to throw a 'battering ram' straight with the first that had once taken out two other dragons and a yacht! |

As expected, Seth avoided the Wyvern's first strike by jumping out of the way as it charged, narrowly avoiding getting sent flying by a head-on collision with several tons of muscle and armor-plated hide. Selene had little doubt that Seth had the strength and speed to do damage to the Wyvern, but one thing that the corporate heiress knew is that due to its size the Wyvern had an inherent advantage over Seth due to its superior attack range. Unless Seth can somehow find a blind spot, she knew that her butler would be forced to go on the defensive. As the Wyvern thundered past Seth, the butler seized the opportunity to counter as he performed a dash with his fist cocked, leaving behind a sizable crater in the ground where his feet dug in, attempting to smash into the Wyvern like a human battering ram! The Wyvern roared as Seth made his dash, before swinging its massive body around at around the same time the butler lunged forward in an attempt to swing its tail at Seth! |

Wait-crud, dammit! WHAM!!! That one was for real. The thick tail of the wyvern crashed hard against him as he rushed towards the dragon, intercepting his attack and sending him flying off from his track, slamming hard on his back against a particularly large tree, before sliding down to the ground in a heap with a groan. Keh... he supposed it really was a bad idea to go against a REAL dragon, even if it is a lesser dragon. Why the heck is he even trying to go against one anyway? Was he really just trying to get himself killed? This is seriously a bad choice for some mood venting- "Gah...!" ... No way... not now... Wait, don't idle around! You're going against a damn dragon, dammit, focus! |

"Seth-kun!" Selene exclaimed worriedly as the Wyvern's tail slammed into her butler, sending him flying and slamming back-first into a nearby tree to collapse at the roots of the tree with a painful groan. "Seth-kun, are you all right?" the corporate heiress asked - while the Wyvern hadn't struck out at full force, she was still worried that a blow of such magnitude would hurt badly; and out of concern for her friend the corporate heiress was ready to stop the fight any moment when it seemed that Seth was in trouble... |

Heh... ridiculous... close, huh. You know what, fuck this. Like hell he's gonna let his own self get the better of him. It's not simply a matter of venting out his own anger. It's a matter of survival and pride, it seemed. If he dies being beaten by this dragon at this moment (which Selene will make sure won't happen), then there's no point in him even trying to resist his own self-destructive functions. That doesn't seem to make much sense... but whatever. He swallowed back the blood that had pooled in his mouth. Sounds disgusting. But eerily enough, the metavirus found it... delicious. He placed his hand on the tree he just crashed into, his fingers digging deep into the trunk as he pulled himself up. "Ne, Selene..." He started, his eyes turning to face the wyvern, narrowed with enough draconic ferocity to rival the wyvern's reptilian stare. "Tell your little pet here, to GET SERIOUS!!!" In one swift movement the tree he had been leaning on was RIPPED OFF from the ground and was FLUNG towards the wyvern like a spear, raining down earth and rocks and debris along its wake! ...Um, V? |

"Ne, Selene..." Seth replied, and although he was speaking in his own voice her butler was speaking with a tone that was unlike anything the corporate heiress has heard his fingers digging deep into the tree trunk as he pulled himself back onto his feet, his eyes narrowed as he stared back at the Wyvern with a ferocity that rivals that of the lesser wyrm. It was like she was gazing upon the face of a stranger as Seth's face took on an expression that was alien to the corporate heiress - despite being one of her closest friends in his current state he appeared like a total stranger to her. "Tell your little pet here, to GET SERIOUS!!!" he roared, and in a burst of Herculean might the butler ripped the tree right out of the ground, throwing the entire tree like a spear at the Wyvern. The Wyvern roared as Seth's projectile scored a hit, nailing it from the front and knocking the Wyvern to the ground as rocks and debris rained onto its massive body as the lesser wyrm hit the dirt with a crash. "Seth-kun, are you out of your mind!?" Selene demanded as she threw her hands in the air in shock. "You could get yourself killed!" the corporate heiress protested as the Wyvern rose to its feet after the count of six, roaring its challenge as it flapped its wings, taking to the air and flying above the tree tops. And then with a roar, the Wyvern performed a nose-dive towards the ground towards Seth's position with its claws splayed out wide, looking to seize him in one of its talons like an eagle swooping down at a hare! |

What? Don't be ridiculous, he won't die. How could a mere dragon kill him? Don't you know who he is? The world's most powerful metavirus designed to obliterate anything he comes in contact with. That wyvern should be the one who is crazy for going against him. Oh, but wait. V was the one who called out for the dragon. Ah, what misfortune. Poor dragon, thought V, ignoring Selene's panicked outburst as he leaped out of the way of the wyvern's swooping grip, the claw smashing down on the ground HARD. This is brilliant, really. The dragon may have an extended range of attack, but it still can't do anything if its target is WITHIN its dragonic defensive or offensive range. Kinda like... what's that thing that utilizes extremely close range combat... Enh. Whatever the case, he got close. Really really close. The wyvern's jaw was quite literally right next to him, open and baring its razor sharp teeth. In that one split second, the two exchanged glares, between a great mighty dragon and a small microscopic metavirus. The devilish smirk that appeared on his face was probably the last thing the dragon would see as V swiftly turned around on his heel, launching a roundhouse kick towards the wyvern's head. The kick itself would have enough power to rival a TNT... |

A cloud of dirt flew up as the Wyvern missed its grapple attempt, instead smashing its talon into the ground. For a moment the two of them were staring eye to eye as Seth was literally right next to the Wyvern, where he could see every detail - powerful jaws and razor-sharp teeth. Seth would feel the creature's hot breath upon his face as the pupils on its eyes narrowed to catlike slits and with a grunt the Wyvern attempted to swing its head to the side to knock Seth aside, except that the boy was faster, and before the Wyvern could act he'd clocked the lesser wyrm with a roundhouse kick to the side of its head, impacting like a wrecking ball. The corporate heiress watched with bated breath as the Wyvern's head snapped to the side sharply as it took Seth's kick, the lesser wyrm shifting in its position and nearly looking like it would fall over onto its side, before regaining its footing and following it up with an almost disdainful-sounding snort as it glared back at Seth, before swinging its massive body around and attempting to catch the butler with a tail swing! "...Oi," V simply stood there as the lesser dragon launched its counterattack. The large log-like tail swung hard and fast towards him, aimed to possibly break his neck and shatter his ribcage to bits. But he... just stood there, staring at the wyvern in disbelief. Until--WHAM!!! As expected the tail hits him hard with a loud painful sounding crash! Some with better hearing could probably hear the bones cracking and shattering inside him as the heavy tail made its impact. But instead of sending him flying like it did before... he was standing there, grasping tightly on the tail of the wyvern, his feet anchored to the ground. "What makes you think..." He tightened his grip. "...that the same attack..." He lifted the tail over his shoulder, turning around a hundred and eighty degrees on the spot as he did. "...would work on me TWICE?!!" With one mighty heave, pull and toss, V had, quite literally, attempted to do a shoulder throw on a frikkin' damn dragon! If it goes well, and he had no doubt it would go too well, the lesser dragon wouldn't be able to walk for a few weeks due to back pain. |
