Osiris looked relieved as Tsubame turned to deal with the new table, and though he hadnt shown it, it had felt good to see her own face come to relief. She wasn't back, but she wasn't broken anymore, and that was good enough. he was rather oblivious to the fact that he was now causing the poor girl in the staff room to question everything she knew about him. But honestly, that was likely because he was sort of having issues with it himself. Should he have pressed? Yeah, that would have been wrong if he wanted to keep this game going but...if he thought about it, that shouldnt be what he is focusing on. He should be focusing on the success of Zodiac, not about Tsubame's feelings. Even if it ruined his fun, that was not the point. He knew it. Was he wrong to do what he did? He shook his head, no, no He was right. If she grew to resent him, she would rebel, she would be sneaky and stab him in the back if he pushed to hard. He needed to keep her in a state of relative contentment so she would do as told without growing to really desire freedom. That was the reason. Yes...totally was. He seemed rather flustered when he heard Yuri speak up, being lost in thought. That didnt happen normally either. What was up? he frowned as he answered Yuri. "I let her go because...it was necessary, if I pushed her down too hard, then, then she might begin to actually act out...and I can't have that" No, it didnt sound too convincing to himself either. "I did it for Zodiac" He left it at that Edited by Pierrot, Dec 19 2011, 02:14 AM.

"… Oh, okay." That was the only words that Yuri has dropped, after Osiris has told her the answer. The 'answer' that he has created for her and himself alike, anyway. While Yuri has always taken Osiris's words as rules and guidelines, and never has questioned them one bit, she could tell this time that Osiris was not certain. She has never heard Osiris reaffirm a statement that he has previously made. The mere fact that he went the extra mile to say that he did it for Zodiac made it glaringly obvious that Osiris was trying to convince himself. Why, she knows not. However, given that this is Osiris who is speaking, she won't question Osiris further. It is probably going to result into something that she doesn't understand, too. One thing for sure, however, is that she would pay even closer attention to Tsubame from this point onwards. It is clear to Yuri that this woman affects her boss greatly, and it is a strange phenomenon. And, if Tsubame ever gets into the way… The index hook that Yuri had on her tea-cup suddenly grew tighter. She would eliminate Tsubame from Osiris's path in any way she can. With whatever ability she has, and whatever power Osiris has given her, of course. "Are you okay Tsu-chan? You look awfully exhausted!" A coworker came into the room, noticed Tsubame's tired look in the room, and commented. "I-I'm okay! I just have a light headache~ I am all good now~" Noticing that she has shown her weaker side to someone other than herself and Kohaku, the girl quickly recompose herself, and stood up from where she stood. She then pulls herself towards the mirror, and remedy her messed up hair and slightly misplaced-ears. She looks at herself in the mirror for a little more again, and touches the ribbon around her neck. She traces up the ribbon to the covered-up port at the bottom of the back of her neck, and traces back forward to the bell itself. Her index finger hits the bell, and the metallic orb creates the sound of a clear chant. Given her circumstances, wouldn't most people, herself not included, somehow gave up somewhere along the way to oppose against someone like Osiris already? After all, to be fair, he has the look, the money, and he does have what most girls look for for the perfect date, or boss, or just the perfect man in their lives, regardless of what form it is in. It is so hard to actually fight against than to just do whatever he wants. Most girls would probably have given up day 1. But Tsubame has chosen the hardest path. Was it worth it, even? Tsubame shakes her head. She must have been really tired to even think that being obedient and follow all words of Osiris like he wanted her to was remotely an idea. …. Still.
