NICE DRIVE!
|
"Sounds like it would be good practice," Satoshi commented with an eager laugh at her mention of tagging along for one of her treasure hunts. Reaching inside his ninja garb, he drew forth a small slip of paper and using a nearby pen on some small podium used by the shrine during tours he began to scribble down some numbers. Turning back to Celia he handed her the slip of paper with a confident nod. "Here," he added with a determined voice, "You just let me know when you want to go treasure hunting and I'll lend you my talents." Crossing his arms Satoshi seemed to have an excited look in his eyes. The idea of infiltrating some secret place that was heavily guarded by traps and who knows what else got his spirit burning. Something like that would be the perfect test of his skills and give him a chance to really push himself to the limit. "I don't care much about money and lavish treasures so the experience can be my payment," Satoshi added thoughtfully, "Sound like a good deal?" |

Celia took the paper. "Sure, I could see how a ninja could use experience dealing with traps." she told her. Celia started to move, and leave the shrine. Then she stopped, and figured the ninja might want to know how she detecting him. It had absolutely nothing to do with treasure hunting, but still. "By the way, if you want to know how I detected you, you managed to avoid me detecting you by sight or sound, which is really impressive given my super powered perception. But I did catch your scent." she told him, her tone wasn't condescending, more like she was genuinely trying to help him "Just figured you might want to know." She then continues walking away. She figured he might want to know for next time he tries something. |

"Thanks for the tip," Satoshi answered with a friendly laugh, "It seems I'll need to be a lot more cautious with all the unique students Hyakuji has. I appreciate it." Nodding, the ninja boy gave Celia a friendly wave as she began to depart. He intended to stick around for awhile longer and enjoy the sights and atmosphere of the old shrine. In his eyes he could never have too much practice. This was why he was spending more time at the shrine and why he had so eagerly accepted the girl's offer. After what had happened to the rest of his Clan, Satoshi felt like he needed to be more prepared. Every time he reached a new plateau with skill this was never enough. His first thoughts always turned towards advancing to the next stage no matter the cost. This was what had brought him to Hyakuji in the first place. It seems coming here will turn out to be worthwhile, Satoshi thought to himself happily. |
