At the very least it was just the external armor bits rather than her core damaged, so in order to fix the melted manipulator arm, all Altlene needed to do was have the armor return to the space it came from and let the self repair system work on her parts. That said, she did just that, a flash of light made her shorter and now back in her normal skimpy attire, overall not harmed by the little exercise.

At that, Altlene just nodded in return to Yuri afte that as she moved towards the exit of the training area to meet with her tiny master. Though was rather unsure of what to actually say to her. It was rather...amusing to see Altlene act like an embarrassed school girl around Yuri though, once she was actually in the same room she just kind of fidgeted about trying to gather her thoughts.

After all, every day Yuri changed and Altlene had to reintroduce herself. Every day she was worried that Yuri wouldn't like her anymore. It was rather stressful in a way, though she coped weirdly and was...adapting rather slowly.

Yuri turns around at the sound of another person. She sees this rather familiar looking person walking up to her, as if she has met Yuri before.

… Did she ever meet her?

As far as what she remembered from reading the diary this morning, and from the reference photograph that Altlene so kindly took and printed out for her in the diary, this person in front of her does look like someone that she should know. What was her name again….

"O-otoha san, was it?" The voice of the girl seems meek, even though her expression is on a rather lacking side. However, the bland expression slowly disappears, when the girl has seem to have reaffirmed herself that she was not wrong.

"I wouldn't say rooting for anyone. It's not all that pleasant to have either of them hurt, after all." The smile appears on the girl's face, she turns back onto the field, and looks at Aisia who had a strangely frozen smile on her face. Is this Otoha something person really that nightmare-like of a character, that the strike-rider with an ability on par with Aisia's combat ability would freeze at the sight of her presence?

Yuri frowns a little, as she takes that note in mind, and turns around again. She noticed that Altlene is walking back up to the watching-platform, and figured that she may as well wait and greet the android, until she heard what Otoha was saying.

"There is no need for that. Altlene-san is fine as she is, gentle, caring and considerate. It's not like we are telling her to go to war." A slightly cold comment from Yuri, considering that Yuri appears to be more sweet and timid than how her words has sounded. "I just want her to be fine, and close."

… as close as possible.

It was then, that Altlene arrived, and Yuri's smile appears again, as bright as ever.

Well, even though she doesn't feel all the cheerful about the previous conversation, a part of her within is indeed glad to see Altlene on the watching platform. It could be because of the diary, that the way Altlene was written about and described was so dearly and warmly, that Yuri could feel it evoking some sort of tingling sensation within her, even though she may not feel entirely joyous about seeing her. Well, at least she knows how to properly react to the presence of the girl- at least she knows that she should smile.

"Gokurosama deshita~" Yuri said, skipping towards Altlene, and touches the forearm of Altlene's unwounded side lightly. "How was the test?" She asks, all while helping Altlene to move a tiny strand of blonde colored hair out of the way, and hooks it back towards the back of her ear.

As a person who was closed to Yuri before today, it will not be hard for Altlene to see that something, ever so subtle, has changed within the girl. Moreover, the girl is showing affection, and that is definitely something that Altlene has not experienced before. Not at the beginning of their meeting, at least.

It is quite apparent that Yuri either is trying really hard to conceal her forgetting, or she really does remember Altlene from the day before.

Otoha blinked at Yuri as she seemed to exhibit some sort of unfamiliarity with her antics. After all, even without the apparent words, Yuri did express annoyance at her presence back in Fudo Dorms, and under normal circumstances, she would be somewhat more uncomfortable around her presence, not... mildly tolerant of her.

It was like the events of that day didn't even happen.

"O-otoha san, was it? I wouldn't say rooting for anyone. It's not all that pleasant to have either of them hurt, after all," she managed to say uneasily at first, but then grew more confident with the next set of words, almost as if she were trying to cover up for forgetting her name. No, not just that, as if covering up for forgetting the rest of her entirely.

... She decided to play with this idea a bit more.

"Well, that's always good too. It wouldn't do if either of them got horribly hurt. So, did you find anything in the bathroom after Altlene washed your grape stain from your dress?" she asked.
"... What the hell are you pestering her with this time, Otoha," Aisia growled with minor annoyance as she reappeared next to Otoha using her teleportation powers. That alone made Otoha blink some more - after all, it wasn't as she had far to walk to the platform they were on, so there was no reason to use her powers.
"... Nothing in particular. I'm surprised that you would offer to help her out with this, given what happened the last time. Or that you'd just teleport here like that," Otoha said.
"And what's wrong with that?"

"... Nothing," she shrugged. "Just seemed odd, that's all."
Aisia stared at Otoha for a while before deciding to just ignore her and turned to Yuri. "I... Don't believe we've met yet. Are you Altlene's master by any chance? My name is Aisia Asakura, and you'll be pleased to know that she seems to be holding up fine. Though she might need a bit more reinforcement, or combat training, either or."

Meanwhile, Otoha closely gauged what Yuki's reaction would be to her words...

There is a very apparent pause between Otoha's questioning, and Yuri's reaction. In fact, it would be more precise to describe it as mild surprise, if anything.

What? Grape stain on her dress? When was this? Why wasn't it recorded in the diary? Or did she not read the diary carefully enough to remember the details of it? No, she was sure that she read over everything, and the last time she had something like that, was a skirt that she spilled over, and it was for sure not grape juice. She was taking a shower at Altlene's place, when the robotic maid was washing her clothing for her. If her memories did not fool her, this was how it should have gone.

A little frown appears on the girl's face, just when she turned around and faced Altlene and Aisia who supposedly came up from the platform.

Yuri almost said something, really, had Aisia not teleported upstairs just a second before she was about to say something. Instead, she looked away, and waited for Altlene to come up. This is a little more tricky than she wanted it to ever be, and she could tell that Otoha may be testing her.

She should be panicking at this point in time about not finding an answer for appropriately answering Otoha's question, but she really wasn't feeling that panic that she should have been. Well, there was slight uneasiness, but it was not that terrible or immediate that she felt the need to cringe her mind together to formulate an answer.

And maybe this was for the better. Maybe the fact that Yuri was not panicking over an answer left Otoha's questioning blank and doubtful. Maybe this Otoha person won't bother her anymore about it.

Or maybe she'd figure it out. Who knows?

It could be rather troublesome if this Otoha person finds out about her conditions. Well, no. Her double condition would be more annoying if Otoha finds out. Or anyone for that matter.

She turns away from her look to the platform again, and looks at Aisia as she introduces herself. For a minute, Aisia would feel as if she was looking at a pair of eyes void of emotion, or a very delicate, human-sized doll, if she would rather describe the person in front of her that way.

It was all but a second, however.

A rather bright, child-like, polite smile hangs on Yuri's face, as soon as she finishes her words.

"That's a great news to hear. Though I don't think I'd ever want Altlene-san fighting against anyone for anything, though." She says, bowing lightly towards Aisia. "Name's Yuri Yamazaki. It is my pleasure to meet you, and you have my utmost gratitude for helping Altlene-san out."

If anything, Yuri Yamazaki just seems to be a very good, polite kid. If Aisia can disregard the strange impression that the girl first made, that is.

"Well, the test was mainly to check if all my parts were working...if you don't want me to, I won't use the armor unless absolutely necessary." Altlene stated simply enough. The combat aspect was a secondary priority in her programming, while it was definitely there the android herself did not wish to actively engage in it. "It still went as well as I hoped, so beyond the cosmetic damage that beam caused I think I'm in perfect working order." Altlene finished, reassuring any worry that may have been present from the time she was found.

Though she fell silent when the questions began showing up about the past days were brought up. She wasn't in a position to actually talk about Yuri's condition but so far she seemed to be handling that well. If she had to though Altlene would need to fill in some things but that'd make things more suspicious...! So she wasn't entirely sure how to help out like this...

If there was anything Otoha was good at, it was at reading people. After all, she couldn't push their buttons so easily otherwise. The first sign that she realized that something was wrong was the longer than usual pause between her question and Yuri's response. It would have been understandable if Yuri simply didn't understand the question, but it was more than that; if a normal person didn't understand the question completely, he or she would immediately ask what the hell she was asking again.

Yuri's response was a look of surprise as if trying to process the question, or as if she'd been caught with red-handed with her deepest darkest secret and trying to figure out how to cover it up.

Otoha grinned. While there were any number of reasons for her inability to answer correctly, the closest she could assume was that she had no idea what she was talking about. It was as if she'd... forgotten about it.

The implications of that was... terrifying. She could troll Yuri EVERY DAY, and it would never get old. Everyday she'd be shuffling meeting Yuri she could use the same material each time and she would STILL find herself unable to resist facepalming.
... In fact, as far as experimentation goes, would Yuri's body be able to resist the trolling somehow, even if her mind could not?

"... Otoha, what the hell are you scheming now," Aisia said to break the silence. It wasn't a question.
"Science, my dear Aisia. SCIENCE. Anyway, don't worry about the bathroom bit. I was just hoping you'd remember if you saw anything in there that belonged to me, since I seem to have left stuff in the bathroom that day," Otoha said to Yuri. "As to the battle data, I was actually watching for much longer, and got some great footage!"

... Suddenly, Otoha was wearing her sombrero, the same sombrero from yesterday that contained whatever hammerspace confounded Yuri to no end. She overturned it and pulled out an iPad from inside so that she could show footage of the battle to Aisia, Yuri and Altlene.
"See, she's right, your shielding doesn't last very well to a sustained attack. You need to be more mobile! Move like a butterfly, sting like TheBee!" Otoha said as she was making some kind of terrible Dempsey Roll motion with her body.

More importantly though, she wanted to see Yuri's reaction to the hat.

Yuri simply looks from Aisia to Altlene, and a smile is pulled up on her face, a bright smile on that note.

"It is up to you to decide what you wishes to do, Altlene-san. I merely wish that you wouldn't get hurt." She says sincerely, stating the matter of fact that she doesn't quite like the idea of the robotic maid getting hurt, ever. Of course, why exactly did she not like the idea, Yuri couldn't quite pinpoint it out. The thought of it just doesn't feel all that pleasant to her, even though it doesn't quite upset her stomach like any other time when she feels something unpleasant.

Well, she may have that upset stomach, but she probably did not draw any notice from it, anyway, since it did not call for the emotional attention that it needed. Or rather, the emotion side of Yuri did not really respond to the call.

Whatever works, really.

She then turns back to Otoha, who she notices now has a rather… scary smile on her face. Well, she wouldn't exactly call it 'scary', since she's not really intimidated by it. However, she could tell that something is going on within Otoha's head, and she could tell that whatever the girl is thinking, it is not something that would be beneficial to her current status. Be it her disability to remember, or her disability to feel. Both of them can be extremely detrimental, if Otoha ever finds out. She just has this feeling that her life from here out would be just… very inconvenient.

She frowns, as well, when she notices that Otoha is somewhat eying her from top to bottom. She could be imagining it, really, but she feels that something about this woman is dangerous, on both physical and emotional levels. It's better to keep a good distance away from her from now on.

It is then that Aisia has interrupted, interrogating the scheming that Otoha has been having at the back of her mind.

Yes, Yuri can tell all too well, too.

Otoha has responded to the question, however, with some rather strange… answers. As much as she wished to act composed, the girl couldn't help but to tilt her head a little in confusion at the information given to her, and looks at Altlene rather confused. What is Otoha even talking about?

Well, of course, given that Yuri was in the bathroom when Altlene told Otoha off about the camera, and she never was told by Altlene about the Footage anyway, she did not really realize what Otoha was really talking about. More like, even if she did realize it had something to do with the camera that Otoha has mustered- which she has recorded in her diary- she wouldn't have been able to make that connection immediately, still.

After a slight pondering upon the question asked, Yuri finally decided that it'd be best if she just play the dumb fool in this case. "I'm sorry, Otoha-san, I haven't seen anything out of the ordinary in Altlene-san's room. I wouldn't have known."

…. Which is true, to a certain extend.

And, when Otoha pulls up the sombrero, an even more confused face appears on the poor tiny girl. She is utterly confused now.

"Altlene-san," Yuri finally decides to bring it up and says it out loud. "I forgot to mention it last time, but your friend is…. interesting."

Her eyes wanders towards that of Altlene, hoping that Altlene can do something to actually stop Otoha from further testing the waters. She probably cannot hold the secret much longer. She is finding difficulty in responding as is, even though, thank goodness, her lack of emotional reaction towards the hat AND the question, save the slight confusion, help masks the fact that these two are both new information to her.

"I try not to dwell on Lady Otoha's mannerisms too much, it saves me trouble too." Altlene mused...almost sounding as if she was joking but at the same time it was probably the truth for her. Still, she was actually taking the combat advice rather seriously, since while she was designed for it, her lack of experience is what made Altlene take such unnecessary risks in that kind of situation. Of course, there was probably a better way to word that advice.

In short, it was better if she didn't end up being trained wrong as a joke, considering how easy it is for her to believe just about anything.

"I guess what she's trying to say is that even though you're adequately armored, there are times when you need to be more mobile. Don't take a hit if you can't take it - either get out of the way or make sure the one you're protecting is moved out of the way along with you," Aisia clarified for Altlene, knowing that Otoha was probably saying stuff that didn't make any sense at all to the fledgling robot. "You cannot protect anyone if you're destroyed, after all."

She then turned towards Altlene and sighed. "I apologize for Otoha. She's... special."
"Among other things," Otoha chuckled as she tossed the sombrero aside. She was satisfied - the confusion on Yuri's face was the look of confusion given to anything that wasn't seen before, meaning that something's been messing with the way she remembers things.

... And that was fine by her. She was definitely going to have some fun with this somehow.

"Yeah, Aisia's right, in her own boring sort of way," Otoha chuckled. "Maybe if you had a more mobile form than that you could move faster. Maybe you can reconfigure your armor into something like wings or something like that! Or if you really need to tank things, reconfigure them into a shield or a tank! Those parts look pretty modular enough to me that you could even potentially hook them up to other machines or items or armor platings and become even stronger!"
"Huh? Otoha, there's such a thing as compatibility! You can't just shove my Strike's shield and Beam Rifle at her and tell her to duct tape them together to her armor and call it a day!" Aisia groaned.
"Hey, I've seen worse kitbashes lying around. You can't say it's not possible," Otoha chuckled.

Regardless of whether you have emotion or not, things that does not make sense to your brain will never make sense to you no matter how much you try.

And that is exactly the situation that Yuri is at right now: She does not understand one bit as to what they are saying, at all. No, not at all. She is just completely lost.

What are they talking about, tanks, shields, armors, and everything? Is it about Altlene's combat ability? She read something about that this morning in the manual that Altlene has highlighted and summarized for her, she could recall, but what about Aisia then? What is with the talk of shields and rifles about? Are they talking about the strange gadget looking form of Aisia when they were fighting?

No, it is confusing, and Yuri doesn't really like it.

Normally, you'd think that one would be forward enough to step up and speak her mind. However, this is not quite the case with Yuri.

Instead, the girl simply keeps quiet. Her smile dissipates a little, and a frown appears a little bit on her face, expressing her uncertainty about their topic.

Well, this should be the correct way to express her lack of understanding of their topic without being rude, right? Or was this the wrong way of going about it?

Though, the thought of Altlene with duct taped on shield and guns sort of… amuses Yuri, even just by a little bit, that when she hears that from Aisia, she couldn't help but to wonder a little bit, and looks at Altlene in, what the others may see and interpret as, a slightly more teasing way. After all, that appearance would have been interesting to say the least.

"While my armor is modular in nature, I currently do not have other configurations on memory." Altlene answered simply, what this meant was, if someone figured out something that worked with what pieces she had, she'd be able to summon her armor that directly in that manner. However, as expected of someone barely off the assembly line, she had minimal extras installed.

"As far as compatibility goes, I can theoretically use any type of mechanical weapon, as I can borrow from other MMS if I encountered them. Though It'd be a considerable drain on my systems since I was built primarily with my swords in mind." her explanations were akin to reading a tech manual in all honesty. Still, she did seem more complicated than her attire leads you to believe.

"As you would expect though, parts, weapons and expansion programs are sold by my parent company, so there's that option if you wish to make me stronger."

"Hmmm, that is troubling... but perhaps we can give you a configuration!" Otoha gleefully said. Her thoughts of tormenting Yuri passed over for something else for now, she decided that perhaps they could find a way to upgrade Altlene. Preferrably, using Yuri's money, of course.

A different kind of torment, in this case. Of course, she wouldn't be so bold as to capitalize on any "forgotten" transactions.

"Also, you mentioned buyable parts. What sort of stuff can Yuri-chan buy for you? Maybe a battery upgrade? More weapons? AN APP THAT MAKES YOU END ALL YOUR SENTENCES WITH ~NYA!?"
"... There's an app for that?" Aisia groaned. "Also, aren't you forgetting? Even though Altlene is Yuri's robot maid, she wasn't exactly purchased correctly."
"... Oh, right. If you buy it from their website then they could possibly find out that she's not really yours and may do some unnecessary searches. Welp, time to search on EBay Japan!" Otoha said. "Or jailbreak her, whichever works better, really."
"I'm telling you, that's NOT the point!"

"In the meantime," Otoha said, rubbing her hands together as she did, "Perhaps we can play a little game of Lego. Altlene, can you reform your armor and stuff again? I'd like to see if we can put together a different configuration. Yuri-chan can help out too, right?"
... Whether Yuri would actually agree to something like that was another matter altogether, but it was for the sake of making Altlene harder, better, stronger and faster. Well, given what they have to work with, they'll have to just settle for "different".

Yuri couldn't help but to tilt her head, again, when Otoha mentioned that she was supposed to buy Altlene something? Buyable parts? Does it mean something like, clothing? Well, Altlene isn't exactly human, so food is probably out of question. Or is it something crazier like what they have seen her use, the swords and everything?

… Even though Otoha said she should buy Altlene something, the idea of buying Altlene something that may contribute her to fight more isn't really all that… pleasant. If anything, she'd rather buy Altlene something like clothing and such. After all, that's what all normal girls like, right?

… Well, at least that's what she remembered normal girls like herself likes, clothing.

But it really is up to Altlene in the end.

… And no, an app that makes Altlene ends all sentences with ~nya, for some reason, does not seem all that appealing to her. She'd imagine herself getting not-so-neutral after hearing that more than 10 times. Besides, she has heard that people who go obsessed with this whole thing are known as weirdos. It was something that starts with a "p", but she doesn't remember exactly what the word sounded like. Regardless, this is not something she prefer's she thinks.

And then, Otoha went off and made even more speeches that she does NOT understand.

At this point, Yuri almost completely gave up on comprehending her. It's just…. No, her mind doesn't comprehend all of these well enough to actually react to it.

Though, at least she understood one part of the conversation: helping out.

"I'm not entire sure what's going on, but as long as we are not going to do something that Altlene-san is against," Yuri says, nodding her head. "I can help out."

This is good enough, right?

"It is ultimately up to you what you wish to do with me, so I appreciate your kindness." A courteous response as always, she didn't want to drop the financial burden that MMS were onto anyone: after all, they were expensive out of the crate, add-ons and applications she could use matched that price point. Still, they opted to go with helping out with a new configuration rather than buying options parts and for that, she was thankful.

"Right away."

Once more, she activated the HiMe system, though did so silently. The sequence wasn't as drawn out this time as the armor surrounded her, and from the looks of things, was already repaired from the training battle.

Otoha licked her lips and cracked her knuckles when Altlene's armor reappeared before her. "Alright! Just leave it to me! I'll fashion this into something that will make you faster!"
Aisia sighed. "How is this supposed to make her faster?"
"A little known thing called... aerodynamics."

With that, Otoha pulled some of the armor parts together and started to... hammer and saw and duct tape and God knows what she was doing.

FIVE MINUTES AND A FEW ROLLS OF DUCT TAPE LATER

"Ta-dah!" Otoha said with glee as she snapped the reconfigured armor parts back on Altlene. To Aisia's surprise, it was... actually good.
"I have to admit, this... looks like it could give you better mobility," Aisia gasped as she looked on at Altlene's new wing form.
"Well, wanna test this out again? I bet you you can run circles around Aisia now," Otoha chuckled, whiich caused Aisia to raise a brow.
"Well, if your automatic repair is THIS FAST, then I may actually decide not to hold back," Aisia mused. "Yuri-san, is this okay with you?"
