Cerium smiled as she looked out the window of the classroom. She'd gotten here early so as to make a good impression on her new class. It was crazy how fast things were changing for her since she'd gotten the position, budget cuts had really affected some of the teachers terribly. She smiled, speaking quietly to herself, "From being a simple teaching assistant to having a homeroom class and 2 periods over physical education, not too shabby for a girl like me~"

She smiled, taking a step back to check herself in the mirror. She was wearing a smart black skirt, the hem being just above her knees and black high heels to match. She turned around and looked down at her rump. It seemed to fill out the skirt just right, she'd never been concerned about such things until she had actually start teaching and realised that several students might actually be staring at such areas while she had her back turned and was facing the board.

Diverting her attention back to her front, he adjusted her bounce a little so that her clevage wasn't showing as much as she normally let it. She had to be profesional about this, she'd even worn a white bra that match her white blouse in an attempt to prevent it from being a distraction. Of course she'd change for her gym class later on, but that didn't mean she couldn't look professional now.

He long raven-black hair hung loose and down the bottom of her back. It felt nice not needing to wear it in a ponytail all the time. With a sigh, she went to her new desk and started sorting through papers. "Maybe I should check the class list to see whom I'm expecting..."

Katy King walked--well, really more like hobbled--into her first class at Shin Hyakuji High School wearing a male uniform because she was, as she put it, "not going to wear a prostitute's skirt". How she got it was anyone's guess. The top few buttons were undone and the tie (or whatever) was loose. Whether she intentionally meant to or not, her cleavage was showing.

She noticed that no one was in the room yet and felt a little nervous, but brushed it aside. She made quiet note of the Cerium at the desk. She almost said hi, but decided against it.

She limped as quietly as she could toward an empty desk; meaning, the one that appealed to her most since they were all empty anyway, which just so happened to be in the second row from the front as close to the window as she could.

Katy was still roughed up from the incident at Kaimu High School. What was I thinking agreeing to go in that thing? I mean, really, she thought. There was no permanent physical damage, but every part of her body was sore, specifically her arm and head. She even had a headache. If it hadn't been Katy's first class ever, she probably would have skipped and just stayed in bed all day.

She settled neatly into her desk and put her books down. Her feet and legs cried with relief, but to her mild surprise, her buttocks screamed. Today was going to be a long day indeed.

After sitting in silence for a few moments, it got awkward. Katy looked away from the window and at Cerium. "Uh. Hello," she said awkwardly. Clearly, Katy was out of her element when talking to people.

You sure you're still up for classes?

"Uh... yeah, I'm pretty sure," He said, rubbing his torso as he made his way to the first class of the day, Homeroom. "I mean, it's not like I lost a kidney or anything, right?"

Um...

"...don't say it,"

Kay.

He didn't lose any kidney or a liver or any of his internal organs, thankfully. But at the same time, V was still worried whether the damage he had sustained from piloting Hyakuzor was too much for him. Sure, he have healing capabilities, but is it wrong to be worried?

Well, that was one thing to be worried about. Another is the poverty-stricken state the school had basically plunged into. He couldn't take any showers without worrying that the water supply might be cut off, he couldn't have his usual favorite meal from the cafeteria (not that he ever bothered. He usually makes his own), and worse, he couldn't-

Uh.

Maybe he should just keep that one quiet.

"Morning,"
He called out, sliding the sliding door open and stepped into the class. Apparently, for once he was early, as there were only two other occupant in the room. Cerium-sensei, the teacher with a BOUNCE (not that he was focused on them. <_<), and the other one, he recognized as the girl he met a few weeks prior, and was his Hyakuzor co-pilot, Katy King. "Ah, morning Katy," He said, giving her a polite bow and a smile as he would always do. "How are you feeling?" The only reason he asked with such a concerned voice was because he knows what it feels like to pilot the super robot.

Jonny rolled an arm as he approached his homeroom class, groaning slightly as the bones clicked, and muscles shifted in a forced effort. His body had been damaged in the battle against Kaimu, and frankly, he was a bit of a twig. He had no great healing factor, and even with his superspeed, his metabolism wasn't enhanced to any degree. Add in a few forced attempts to move resulting in opened wounds again, and the only thing that made it seem like there was nothing wrong with him was the fact his uniform hid the majority of the bandages.

The school was worse off than ever with its financial situation. Teachers had been dropped - including his original homeroom teacher - power and other supplies were effectively being rationed, and cafe food had been downgraded. It was a small miracle that he'd taken up cooking in the first place. He could produce quality food which even the school couldn't afford. And, at the very least, he could always find somewhere in town for some of the small stuff. Heck, maybe he could find a generator...

He looked up towards the door as he spotted someone slipping into the room. Someone, which by now, he could say with certainty that he had gotten quite acquainted with. Thinking about it, with the shift around, there might be some students in the homeroom. And heck, they had a new teacher too. He wondered what this Ryuko fellow was like. He'd heard about one teacher by that name, though that was a guy, and this one was a 'Miss' on the notice about the change overs. Maybe they were related.

He peered his head over the rectangular frame of the doorway, his face extending into a small smile as he recognised the two students there. Even if it wasn't their finest moment, the three were officially a (one time) super robot pilot team.
"Yo." He gave a small two finger salute to the two, ignoring a few aches in his side as he did so.

He made his way to his seat by the window, taking in a few details about the woman who would be his homeroom teacher from now on, barring anymore cuts to the (now non-existent) budget.
In many ways it had a sort of textbook look about it, which made it seem like it wasn't her typical attire. At the very least, the teacher was trying to be mature about her appearance. Whether or not it would hold up, with Mr Tsukasa acting as a basis here, was another question.

His gaze moved outside, looking over the school grounds. And then, to the Neo Photon Lab. Leaning back slightly, he began to think on the ideological consequences. He had talked of how Hyakuji's pride and will would never give in. But Hyakuzor in many ways was her pride. And Hyakuzor had been torn apart, even if it took some good chunks out of the King Kaimu in the process. And for whatever reason, they couldn't just take this issue to higher authorities it seemed.

...If the school really did go under, would it be his fault? Would the reason that the crazy woman who would willingly allow innocent people to be brought into her petty feud would also be able to get away scott free with their money, be because he was too damn caught up in the moment and didn't think about the power at his fingertips?
Would it be because of him that such a person would never face justice for her actions? He continued to stare blankly into space, trying to avoid, and yet also answer, such questions.

"Greetings Ryuko-Sensei!" Thianbang exclaimed with a smile as she hopped into class, "It's a wonderful day, isn't it?" And walked to her sit.
"Morning guys" She called up to her classmates cheerfully, "My name is SiongKoan ThianBang, I am a witch from The Great Ming Republic and I am so delighted to come to Fuso to study, hope we can be friends." Introducing her self as she took a sit. "By the way, my named is pronounced "Joukan Tenyume" in Fuso Tongue, so you can also call me Yume-Chan!"
What? Another Yume-Chan? She and that friend of her...

Depression.
It was a word that Brandon was more than familiar with. The sudden retreat from Kaimu not only left him frustrated with his failure, but it also made him doubt about his ideals of serving for justice even more. Was it worth the losses? The situation at the school was no better; lunch was just barely meeting his eating standards, and there was always the occasional blackout at the dorms that got on his nerves.
It was no mystery to Brandon; he had eventually learned on his own that Hyakuji High was having major financial problems. Despite the conditions, however, he preferred the current school over his previous enrollment. Detroit was still a graveyard to Brandon, a place where the ghosts of his past still lurked.
But enough moping; today was a new day, and Brandon had work to do. Wearing his school uniform and blue hat, he yawned as he slipped into his homeroom class. He paused for a moment to take a good look at the teacher, then greeted with, "Good morning, teacher," before wandering off to the middle of the classroom. The other students looked familiar to Brandon, though he did not know why. Perhaps they had met before? He simply greeted them with a nod, and seated himself at a desk near the end of the middle row. His lack of energy, due to skipping out on breakfast again, was painfully obvious; he had already started to slouch back in his desk and was already staring out into space with a blank look on his face.

He greeted the teacher with a dip of his chin, but otherwise paid no attention to the busty new replacement. He was in his fourth year and already used to things changing around here. Besides, graduation was on its way. There was no used getting attached to new things. Mike sat with his leg longs poking out from under the desk and his face flat on the table, buried in his arms. Moping? He sure looked like it, and the others would probably excuse him for being so considering recent events. But this was actually how he usually was in class anyways hoping people would just leave him alone.

So that's Cerium-sensei Selene thought as she glanced at the tall, well-endowed and smartly-dressed beauty. Cerium Ryuko was her full name... so she's related to Nickle-san? At least based on the news she'd received she replaced Hongo-sensei, and will be teaching Physical Education, the new subject that resulted from merging Martial Arts with Gym. It was a pleasant surprise to learn that quite a number of her friends also shared this homeroom - a quick glance around showed Selene that Seth, Thianbang and Jonny were also in this class together with her, all of whom she knew pretty well. Presumably, all those who attended Hongo-sensei's homeroom would be transferred to Cerium-sensei's homeroom by default...

"Good morning, Ryuko-sensei," Selene greeted Cerium as she gently took hold of the edges of her pleated black uniform skirt and curtsied before heading over to a front-row desk, sitting in front of Jonny and acknowledging him with a friendly smile before looking forward, adjusting the collar of her blazer and straightening her necktie before placing her school bag underneath her desk.

Cerium sat up as she watched her students begin to enter in through the door. It was odd really, there were quite a couple of them who seemed to have been under the same dark cloud while others seemed perfectly cheerful. She waved to each of them as they entered, waiting for them to to shuffle in. If there were any stragglers, well she wouldn't be too harsh on them. It was her first day and maybe they were still confused about their schedules and where they needed to be.

So she wouldn't mark them tardy. Still, if they didn't show up at all for the homeroom class she'd be forced by school policy to mark them as absent. She stood up, tapping her desk with her knuckles twice to get their attention over the small chatter that had already started. Oh Ceri, big, confidant smile~

"Ohaio minasan~"

Cerium spoke with a friendly smile on her face, before turning around and taking up a piece of chalk, writing her name on the blackboard. 'Miss Ryuko'
"I'm sure you're all aware of the tight budget the school is currently having to make use of and so sadly we had to say goodbye to Hongo-sensei as well as some of our subjects. So, as I'm sure you've guessed, I'll be your homeroom teacher from now on~" She turned, smiling and folding her arms under her bounce.

"Also, for those of you who took Martial Arts or Gym, those periods are bothin going to be combined and I'll be heading that class as well~" She smiled, before picking out a piece of paper and a pen to mark who was present at the moment. "Before I take roll-call, I'd just like to tell you all to please behave. I've heard from Ni-chan how destructive things can get around here and so I'm asking you not to involve yourselves with worsening the problem~" Cerium then grinned and put a finger on her cheek, leaning forward towards the class a little, "You wouldn't want me to get fired due to budget cuts too, right~?"

She then beamed brightly, clapping her hands together, "So! Why don't you all tell me your names and then I can ask you all why some of you are looking like such zombies! Hopefully you were all in bed last night~" That last sentence was left a little too open ended for comfort....

Katy felt like her neck should be creaking worse than an old door with rusty hinges as she turned to see the next student arrive. She was full of both relief and guilt, mostly guilt, when she noticed it was Seth. She weakly waved a hand. "I have been better," she said just as weakly and with an English accent that was mysteriously missing yesterday. "I never imagined that piloting the Hyakuzor would be so physically demanding. ...Though I am sure that has much to do with my overabundant use of Overboost. How are you doing?"

Jonny came in a few seconds later. Katy waved at him too. "Good morning, Jonny," she said. "How are you feeling?"

Katy felt a somewhat motherly obligation to both Jonny and Seth because of what she had put all three of them. Not only did she feel completely responsible for their current physical states, she also felt responsible for the destruction in of the Hyakuzor. She couldn't help but feel that if she hadn't dozed off they could have had enough power in the Hyakuzor to at least somewhat fend of the King Kaimu.

Katy hadn't noticed, but other students had entered the room. Ms. Ryuko addressing the class snapped her out of her reverie. When Ms. Ryuko mentioned Phys Ed, the aching in Katy's body began again with renewed vigor; she had Phys Ed after this and she was in absolutely no state to do anything physical.

So that's what troubling her. To be honest it was kinda expected, but really. He waved a dismissing hand in front of him, giving a reassuring smile. "Nah, don't worry about it, really. Hyakuzor can be fixed anytime, but better yet, we're all still alive. Heh, I kinda thought that, if you hadn't went with the Overboost the second time, Miss Student Council would've minced us," Not that she hadn't, but it was kinda delayed. And that's a good thing, right? "I'm just glad you're fine," Hey, what about Jonny? He piloted Hyakuzor too, shouldn't he get the same sympathy she gets?

Best not idle around much, he thought as he promptly took the seat at the far back right next to the window. Looks like everyone loves the seats next to the window. In his row there was Jonny, Katy, and Selene at the far front. Mike sat somewhere around the middle, looking as dejected as everyone else due to recent happenings (or maybe that's just how he is everyday?). A boy in a blue cap, he remembered him from the counter-prank team back then. And let's not forget the new hyper-bubbly Chinese girl he did not recognize. Though she's not hard to miss. I mean, really. A witch? Plus the teacher herself. And maybe Selene too. Looks like they're gonna have to count on the three of them to lift the mood up a bit. "Just starvation from three days of non-stop fasting. Other than that, I'm good," He doesn't look good though.

Lorenzo had snuck in earlier, almost missing the first bell. He was tired, and running didn't help. A shock of untidy hair, bags under his eyes, and what seemed to be a start of a stubble, he hasn't slept much since being found by Selene a night or so ago. He had taken that long to recheck his belongings, and found he still had his room, as well as employment. Seems like his disappearance was chalked up to some nonsense of another.

He entered the door, his uniform somewhat askew, hair untidy and the aforementioned state of disorder on him. He bowed to the teacher and found an empty seat, most likely his. God he needed to get back into the swing of things.

To be fair, he had missed much. What happened to the old man that was teaching homeroom? Now there's this rather busty lady teaching it. She went and explained what was going on and whatnot, and the entire time Lorenzo was patting his hair to try and make it lie down. Selene can look at him any minute. When it was his turn to speak, he straightened up...even though his mop of a head still was unkempt.

"Schordinger, Lorenzo. I...I've been busy."

As luck would have it, the three rumored students who piloted the Hyakuzor were all in Hongo, or rather, Ryuko sensei's homeroom. Mike had to wonder if they felt like celebrities of the school.... like star players on an American highschool football team. Although from the way they spoke it seemed they were humbled by the defeat.

It appeared as though everybody was, in a way. With his head never leaving his arms folded on the desk, his stomach joined the chorus of rumbling bellies. Followed by a silent groan of his own. There was no doubt, it was definitely hard times for Hyakuji High.

Sitting over by a window Lucidus was looking out of it, he had entered slightly earlier on. He was tired by the events that occured at Kaimu, it was a clear loss but he was trying to be determined not to get depressed or broody about it. Still it didn't stop him from only half concentrating he was thinking about it though, the current trouble that the school was in however was made much worse with the failure of the prank.

The class was filled with people some of them that Lucidus had easily realized while others who he had yet to be acquainted with. It would be fun getting to know them all however some of the people that he noticed were participants in the prank as well. The three pilots of Hyakuzor were some of the people that he noticed. From what he had heard about them they performed outstandingly well.

Lucidus was snapped back to reality as Ryuko sensei started talking, Lucidus listened a slight bit to what she was saying. It did seem like she was trying to make everyone much more comfortable. Lucidus however was rather tired and was barely paying attention.

Jonny forced out a smile back at Selene, since she'd been courteous enough to give him one. Similarly, remembering that Katy had actually responded, he quickly flashed a thumbs up, in the general 'I'm okay' signal. Even if such wasn't quite true.
He listened to the teacher as she identified herself, and what exactly she'd be teaching. Things didn't affect him too badly he supposed, but the fact that such changes were necessary at all just reminded him of his failure. He nodded to the idea of them behaving, though truth be told, it was sort of speech one should be telling a particular teacher, instead of the students themselves.

After she asked for names and an explanation on why everyone seemed so glum, there was a near deathly silence in the room. Save for Seth's little comment on starvation (though he wondered whether or not such was true), nobody had spoken a single word. Eventually growing discomforted by it, and that somebody had to answer the teacher eventually, he stood up.
"I'm Jonathan - or Jonny - Desmond. We all went to sleep last night, I hope. It's just what we've had to sleep on, Miss Ryuko, that's the problem. We all know the school's in trouble. Some of us... have closer ties to that trouble than others."
