Kenneth scratched his head, looking around his new environment. Never in his wildest dreams had he expected to see the inside of a castle, not unless he was stealing something.... The very first think the Gypsy boy did was look around and examine everything. Most of it seemed to be fire proofed. He knew that because he summoned a handful of flame and touched it to things. Walls, floor, furniture. Awesome. This entire tower seemed to have been build for the simple purpose of training fire users. He chuckled, calling up more fire. This would probably be the only place he could call up fire and not have to worry about burning things. He began to spin and dance around, trailing fire and spinning it around him. He began to laugh. This was actually really fun. Maybe he could finally find out just how much he could do.

Kenneth stopped and focused the fire so it gathered into a ball above his hands, then he threw it, not really paying attention to where he was throwing it, he was already giggling as he tried to force his fire into the shape of a bird. And it just so happened that the fireball was headed towards a door. Yes, a door, one of those things people use to get into rooms. And if anyone who wasn't a pyromancer happened to come through that door before the fireball struck it....They would probably regret it.

Oh.. but of course this place was built for pyromancy and as easily the furniture and walls were made to be non flammable, so were the doors. However..this time considering it would had did nothing to the door, it suddenly swung open and the person stepping out from behind it, was the unfortunate. Ironic, it was as if fate played right into this.

"GAHH!" A strike to the chest, the flame burnt a large gapping hole into all red shirt burning off the namebrand logo of a huge Ralph Lauren Polo horse on the first of it, and the only thing you could see was the head of the jockey and the legs of the animal.

He stood there for a moment frozen in anger then actually pain. The fire seem to did litter to no damage to his expose torso, and all six pack of abs seem to be in place. Sephiroth was just standing there with a metal pole in his hands held up high in the air while looking down at his now dessimated shirt. "Who the hell are you?!" He throw down the bar onto the ground which slammed what look like three 45 pound weights on both ends and landed in a big thumping sound. Quickly asking who the perp was, he immediately walked over to Kenneth and looked him up and down before noticing that this guy was an obvious student of Hyakuji and now what looks to be a Pyromancer student under him. He tried everything in his power not to lash out and pick this guy up by the shirt demanding why he did that, and only assumed it was a mistake that manage to hit him being that he was in the wrong place at the wrong time.

Kenneth stared. The man whose shirt he had accidentally fried was older than he was, that much was obvious. He was also taller, and considerably more muscular. Kenneth turned somewhat pink, just enough to be noticed. His eyes went down to Sephiroth's feet, then slowly moved their way up to the other pyromancer's eyes. And in his head he practically heard a click as his unstable personality shifted, and as his eyes met the turquoise-gold of Sephiroth.

"Sorry!" He said, holding his hands up in a gesture of innocence. Or surrender, depending on how you look at it. "I didn't know anyone else was gonna be here." Unknown to him, his summoned fire was fluctuating in a somewhat hazardous-looking manner behind him. "Are you alright?" The gypsy boy asked, quickly assessing what he himself was wearing, and then thanking himself for always dressing in a slightly provocative manner. Today was a skinny bluejeans day, with a half-buttoned red shirt. His reason for being pleased with the way he was dressed? The other pyromancer was hot. He pushed his hair out of his eyes and gave Seph a tentative smile.

The sudden fluster of this boy's behavior intrigue the hell out of Sephiroth, but more so it annoyed him. He doesn't need more groupies easily follow to his whim due to excellent physical beauty. He rather be the one chasing. "Ummm. " He just now noticed that the guy had completely avoided his question on who he was. Shaking his head, he turned around and quickly took off his what-ever-is-left shirt and threw it on the coat stand near the door.

On his back he held a large tribal tattoo, one that was never seen before. As he walked away it was in complete view. Bending down he quickly picked up the weights and proceeded to do some arm crunches while walking back to Kenneth. "Do you work out?" He noticed the fact that this kid looked a little scrawny to actually do anything within a radius of a gym.

Kenneth looked at Seph with open admiration as he walked away. "Oh. Um. I forgot to tell you my name. Kenneth Nicolae." He said, stepping back and going into a handstand. "And not really. Gyms aren't my thing. I'd rather train my body against itself. You know?" Kenneth walked forward a few steps on his hands, his shirt slipping up/down to show just about the same amount of skin that Seph was showing. Unlike Seph, he wasn't muscular. However, he was fit enough to have lean muscle. And to walk on his hands without showing signs of discomfort.

"Out of curiosity...Are you immune to fire? Is that something all pyromancers develop? Will I be able to do that some day?" Kenneth's unstable personality clicked again, and he looked up, while standing on his hand, at Seph, with big dark eyes that betrayed none of what he was feeling about the other pyromancer. "And I really am sorry about the shirt. I could buy you a new one...."

"Weight control." He mumbled under his breath as he dropped the weight again and this time Moomba, the flame elemental came through the door with another shirt, as if he was right on time or knew about the incident without being there. Turning around to the fire elemental as Kenneth simply asked questions after introducting himself. "Thank you Moomba." He took the shirt and as he was putting it over his head, a small yellow bird jumped out from his hair and landed onto the ground below.

"Immune? I haven't a clue. Not all Pyromancers are capable of doing it, and I wouldn't know if you'll be able do the same." Sliding down the shirt onto his body, he exhaled and tried to quickness out of random to grab the yellow chick, but for some reason he was one step ahead and flew away towards Moomba. "I'm fine. I have plenty of shirts, and that's not the first time it has happen to me. " Thinking back to the first night when he was invited and he had to face Ifrit on his trial day to see if he was fit to be an Fire Instructor.

Unnoticed behind Kenneth, who, for some strange reason, was still standing on his hands, the fire he had been trying to form into a bird shape was becoming less and less stable, flickering and changing size and shape. If anyone looking at it had to guess, they would probably say that it was going to explode. Violently. Kenneth bent his lower half down until his body was like a bridge, then straightened his top half until he was standing up.

"Do you know what the fire instructor is like? Or when he's supposed to get here?" Kenneth asked, straightening his shirt. Though he showed no external sign of it, he was relieved not to have to buy a new shirt for the other pyromancer. If he did that, then he wouldn't have enough money to afford a year's tuition at Hyakuji High School, and would have to perform a small robbery. And Legendary Thief Raven never did small robberies, so it would have to be another wealthy house that he would hit. Fortunately, this man was kind enough not to make him do it. "Oh! I never got your name..."

Sephiroth first noticed it earlier but thought of it, till it leak out and started to become unstable to keep around here right now. Especially since Chobi was here, and there might be a chance he'll get hurt being around it. This Pyromancer kid shown some potential to his fire manipulation, or else he wouldn't had be able to easily form something like that of sorts. "I am he, and I am Sephiroth, you can just call me Seph." A moment a quiet before he looked at Kenneth and noticed that what he created was really going to cause some damage.

"Dao....jin..." Just as he said that, the moment after the room suddenly shifted in the polar opposite of it's nature. The room began turning chilliing cold and the unstable burning flame slowly was devoured into Sephiroth's hand before vanishing as he closed it in his grasp. "Seems like you are a create type more than a controller. Come with me, I have to let out some of this excess heat." He turned and headed back in the direction of the door he came from earlier. The dumb-bar with weights were in their walking way, so Sephiroth decided to easily lift it up with his feet when he has more then 300 pounds on each side and tossed it to the side near the wall where it almost sounded like it was about to go through it on impact.

"Wait, you're the instructor? I expected...someone....considerably older." For a moment, Kenneth pretend to be an elderly man. Then he chuckled, and pushed his hair out of his eyes. For a moment, cherry blossom petals swirled around him, accompanied by a pink glow. Then Kenneth looked confused, catching one of the petals. "Where did all these come from? Did someone leave a window open?" He winced when Seph absorbed his unstable fire. "Um....yeah. I have no idea how to get rid of the fire I make. Maybe you could teach me that first?" Kenneth stretched as he followed Seph out of the room, mentally thinking to himself that he could have SOOOOOO much fun in this town. And in this tower. And at this school.

=__=" A sudden twitch, as for a minute he felt like he was offended. Then noticed it was more of a compliment than an actual insult. The fact that he was seemingly young looking than looking old felt better. He didn't say much more since he was busy into himself wondering if he now look to young.

What seem to feel like a long trip only took mere minutes, though they had to go through a lot of doors and hallways to make it to the Furnace room, what seem to be a large area full of furnaces that gradually made them feel as if they were suffocated from the intoxicating heat. "That will be entirely up on you." Once they got to the room, they noticed that Moomba and Chobi had stayed behind, instead they were to be greeted by another Elemencer beast that dwells in this area.

Kenneth shuddered in the heat for a moment. "This place is amazing. Who got the idea for an entire castle just to train elemancers?" Kenneth really was curious. He could also feel himself starting to sweat. "Its...really hot down here." Kenneth took hold of his shirt with one hand and flapped it a little, to get a little ventilation. Unfortunately, the air all around him was just as hot, so It wasn't doing much. All it was doing was, for the first time ever, unintentionally showing a little more skin.

"So Seph...how long have you been in Hyakuji? And how long have you been the fire instructor?" Kenneth suddenly spotted the fire-based beast that dwelled in that area. And stared. His jaw dropped, and he kept walking until he bumped into Seph, then fell down on his rear end. "Who...what...who? is that???" Kenneth was surprised, and just continued staring and sitting.

A smiled creep up onto Sephiroth's face, as he turned and looking at Kenneth while he seem to not be able to easily handle this heat. It made sense to possibly take off his clothes since he'll need time to adjust before he's capable of overcoming this temperature in just a short period of time. "I'm new to the instructure thing and I been in Hyakuji for about 10 years or so now." Just as he said that Ifrit came right up top of them increasing the heat ever so more with his burning flaming body and chuckled at Sephiroth's modesty over his badge of superiority.

Ifrit: "Even as a Instructor, he wield fire as a child." The flaming beast joked.

Sighing Sephiroth was obviously a little offended as he had both arms across his chest and one of his hands was balled up into a fist ready to strike. "Before we start, let me do this real quick." Sephiroth spoke as he went over to Kenneth and started to take off his shirt. "It's too hot for these, and keep your shoes on. Instead they slowly melt, we'll have to leave earlier than plan. But let's get your started on what you can do."

Kenneth looked interested. "Ten years? What kinds of things go on here? I just arrived a few months ago." Then he mentally reprimanded himself. Oh, sure. I just showed up in town around the same time that Raven started stealing things. He hid his discomfort by staring at Ifrit. "Who....are you?"

Then he turned his attention to Seph, and it was easy enough not to show that he was blushing since he was already red from the heat, as he watched Seph take off his shirt. Kenneth slipped his shirt off over his head. Yet another good thing about only wearing it half buttoned. Now he was glad he'd come to this school. They were associated with this place, which existed to train elemancers. And not only that....but the fire instructor was HOT!!! Kenneth stretched, and turned is attention to Seph. "Well Seph....What did you have in mind?"

"Well." He answer as he threw the shirt onto the back of the door and gave a hand motion for Kenneth to follow as they walked in the middle of the room. Ifrit stood there with both arms crossed his chest and with mere patience wanted to be a spectator on Sephiroth's teaching habits.

Ifrit: "A powerful djinn with control over scorching flames hot enough to turn the whole world to ashes." He joked, building a fire ball in his hand. "Ifrit." He threw the ball at Kenneth's feet which exploded on impact and cause a chain of fire to erupt around the ground spreading out around the kid without really hurting him.

Sephiroth looked at Ifrit for a moment, with one raised eyebrow. It was official that mostly all fire types had a cocky side that they had to show off with people. "You said you can create but not dissipate. So let's try and work on that. Come here and form the largest ball of fire that you can and hold it."

Kenneth was well aware that his specialty was in the creation of fire, but in order to follow Sephiroth, he would have to go through the fire that Ifrit had made. This was something he'd forced himself to learn after being burned out of a few hideouts back when he was with the caravan. He held his hands out in front of him, the backs of his hands touching, and slowly pushed them apart. As he pushed with mind and hands, the flames parted before him, just enough for him to get through unscathed. But the moment he had passed through, the fire closed up behind him. He scratched the back of his head sheepishly, then sort of jogged forward on the balls of his feet over to Seph.

Despite setting his shirt aside, there was still sweat running down his body, which was now somewhat more exposed. Slender, lithe. The body of a dancer. But this wasn't a dance. Well...it could be considered mental exercise... Kenneth reached down inside himself for the flame that was always there, and brought it forth. He'd never ever had a place where he didn't have to hold back, so he didn't know exactly how much he could do. At first, flames streamed forth at random, swaying around like ribbons or surrounding him until he forced them up into the air by sheer force of will. But after a few minutes, he had what roughly could be considered a ball of fire. If balls of fire kept shifting around. "It's like its alive." Kenneth murmured without thinking. And it was big.
