Dangerously Cheesy.
With all of these people awaiting her command it was amazing that Miki wasn't a complete and total brat, though what she witnessed today was something unlike anything she'd seen in terms of power and control wielded by a preschooler.

Although she was striving to make her pretend game a reality, it was clear that beneath it all, she just wanted someone to play with. She was certainly going to an extreme, but why not use her resources as long as she had them? Any kid would love to have such a gigantic costume collection at their disposal, and the fact that she had one was likely due to a lack of parents being as involved as they would like in their child's life and thus quelling her with gifts. It sounded strangely familiar, and yet not.

Robyn thought back and realized the outfit wasn't too far removed from her...she vaguely recalled wearing similarly large and girly dresses as a little girl, but not since those very early years before everything changed. And things had changed. Robyn heaved out a sigh as the dislike for the game slowly started to melt (although that was like saying icebergs melt quickly). She wasn't going to like dressing-up, but she wasn't going to ruin this girl's day either.

The golden princess watched her supposed savior jump off the back of the "horse" and leap over a surprised Miki, who nearly forgot what to do as a dragon while she watched the acrobatic feat. Robyn, however, cringed at the landing as he nearly rolled his ankle or toppled over, or...something. Whatever he did didn't look like it was executed as well as it could've been. She expected some more parries and thrusts between the two but Seth was wasting absolutely no time in getting this thing over with. Miki snapped out of her daze and slashed her "claws" toward him.

"You can't get away from me, rawrwar!"

As soon as he took off, she was hot on his heels, climbing the various stairs and crossing bridges and the like...for at least the first few meters. But her speed was no match for his (as could be expected given the age and height difference). Although she was getting used to the idea of playing the game, Robyn was more than happy to end this as soon as possible even if it was rather unfair and the older teens had a severe advantage. The girl grabbed onto the fence and pulled herself into a standing position, not wanting to delay this any more than she needed to.

Luckily once Seth finally showed up at her level, Miki was far enough out of earshot (as could be determined by her distant roaring) that Robyn didn't have to put on some sort of theatrics to announce how "joyful she was to be rescued." She did pause, however, realizing this was that defining moment where she had to acknowledge that she'd been seen in the dress, and there was no refuting it. Even more awkward yet, he stood there and stared at her for a good few moments as if he'd forgotten what he came there to do.

"Wh..what are you waiting for?"
she stumbled over her words with a small huff, turning her head away to make it less obvious that there was a burning sensation in her cheeks. She idly tugged at her sleeves and skirt in a self-conscious manner as if there was some way to make it look less princess-y, but alas. Nothing could take away the insane amount of gold shine or poof that dress had. She started walking toward one of the few exit options they had, but was unexpectedly swept off her feet with a small gasp. At first she thought it was the giant body guard for some reason, then she came to the quick realization that it was actually Seth.

If she could blush any more than she had been earlier during the stare-down, she did so right then.

"Seth! W-what are you doing!"
she cried, looking up at him in shock. She couldn't remember a time when she'd been this flustered before, but at the same time, the only close encounters she had with guys tended to be strictly business. Certainly nothing like being carried. Maybe he was taking this prince role a bit too seriously?

"Sorry, but can we just get this over with?"
he said in a mostly rhetorical question, giving her little to no time to properly react or get herself free. If she had to subject herself to such humiliation as being carried to ground level, hopefully he would at the very least get her there safely. Or you know, he could just jump over the safety fence at the top of the equipment and plummet the so-many feet to the ground to their doom.

...Wait, he actually thought that was a GOOD idea?

Normally jumping from this high up would've been a piece of cake for Robyn. She'd descended from platforms much higher than this and been fine. The only difference was she was in control of her body and how she fell, but here she was at the complete mercy of someone who seemed hardly able to jump over a meter-tall costumed girl. Not wanting to get thrown to the ground in an extremely painful manner, she clutched onto the boy for dear life with wide eyes and prayed she didn't land on her head.

Dear God, please don't let me die in a princess dress.

THUD

The landing was certainly not graceful, but it was also a lot less painful than it could have been. Apparently being cradled in someone's arms was a decent means of suspension and she didn't feel as much of the impact as she anticipated. The girl let out a giant sigh of relief, nearly convinced a few moments earlier that she wouldn't live to see the rest of the day. It wasn't that she didn't have confidence in her colleague, it was just that...well...actually, she didn't have confidence in her colleague. But he'd just given himself a few confidence points in that small feat of not dropping her on her skull, so that had to count for something!

"Okay! The prince rescued the princess, everyone lives happily ever after, the end!"
he called out, setting the frazzled girl down so she could get on with restoring her dignity.

"Well...that wasn't so bad..."
Robyn commented apprehensively, the color in her face returning mostly back to normal aside from some residual pinkness. Nonetheless, she had a strange feeling like something was about to...

"NOT SO FAST!"

...happen.

Miki slid down the slide of the previous chamber of Princess Robyn, it being quite comical to see a girl in a dragon outfit coming down the twisty, plastic slide. Robyn blinked a few times. Apparently the game wasn't over yet, at least according to the little girl. Time to put her game face back on for just a little bit longer.

"...Oh no, the dragon's still alive!"
Robyn called out in her fake princess voice, quickly trotting back where Seth was bee-lining to the truck. She grabbed him by the shoulders and turned him around to march back and face their foe. She then leaned in close behind him and spoke quietly so just he could hear. "Just poke her with your plastic sword once and this'll all be over. This is painful for both of us, so we both need to suck it up for Miki's sake. Go on!" And with that she lightly shoved him forward to get it done with. Man, there really wasn't much to do as the princess, no wonder Miki wanted to be the dragon for once.

"You aren't taking her away from ME! I'm gonna barbeque you and have you for lunch! FIRE BREATH, RAWRR!!" she roared, running at the two and pretending to breathe a stream of flames as she closed in on her prey!

"Quick, do something before it eats us!"

Oh man. Seth rolled his eyes in a not so obvious manner, though he did gave a very noticeable exasperated sigh. With that kind of persistence from an innocent little girl who just wanted to have some fun, there's just no way for him to bail himself out easily. Looks like the only way for him to be able to get out of this is to play through to the end. Although, "Ah, but I need a stick or something for a sword," He said, waving his apparently empty hand-

"O' brave knight!" A female voice he recognized as one of the maids came from behind him, from the moving costume house, to be more exact. He turned around with his face slightly burning just to find out who else in their right mind would play along in this game. Worse, it actually sounded excited. The moment he turned around however, his forehead collided HARD with the hilt of a lavishly decorated sword that flew right at him. It didn't feel like metal (else he'd have been knocked out by now). Probably polymer, or plastic or something? Rubbing his head painfully he stared at the modern copy of Excalibur on the ground. Wait, did she really expect him to swing that thing around?! This is taking pretend game to a whole new level.

Luckily the sword itself wasn't engineered to be real real. He had picked it up, worryingly scraping his thumb over the cutting edge of the blade, breathing out in relief only when he knew it didn't make any incision on his finger. Well, obviously enough, what sort of parent would leave their kids to play around with a REAL SWORD? But still, he should probably go easy with the fight. A blunt sword is only as dangerous as a club.

he turned around, once again facing Magic Dragon Miki as she unleashes her fiery fury towards the Prince. It's actually surprising how well he could act his role despite the extreme level of embarrassment he's being subjected to. The sharp eagle-like glare he gave her could easily have been thought as the eyes of a real prince with a fiery passion of saving a real damsel in distress. He gripped the polymer Excalibur firmly in both hand, bracing himself for the incoming blast of flames being emitted from Magic Dragon Miki.

"Come! I have no fear towards you and your barbeque blast!" He yelled, taking the role of the prince a little bit too seriously as Magic Dragon Miki rushed closed towards her. It's a simple procedure, all he had to do was jump over her, knock her lightly on the head with the flat part of the blade and announce his victory-

FWOOOM!!!

"GAH!!!" He swung the sword in front of like out of pure reflex. It wasn't because he had been over-imaginative (even if he had), but mostly because he had to prevent his face from being burned by the fireball that somehow managed to materialize from the mouth of Magic Dragon Miki. The fireball struck the wildly swung sword, leaving a small black spot on the silvery finish of the blade that smoked slightly. And the reaction from everyone in the vicinity were predictable. Miki stood there, dumbstruck, her hands hovering above her head as thin wisp of white smoke trailed out of her small gaping mouth. Seth had his sword up his head after having blocked the fireball from reaching his shocked looking face. Even V, who had absolutely nothing to do with the occurring event, was internally surprised. A pyromancer, eh...? What an interesting twist, He gave a small snicker.

Awkwaaaard.

Realizing this, Seth immediately took charge of the situation. Putting back his game face, he proclaimed, "Little did the Dragon know the Prince was highly trained in the Art of Magic Cancel! No amount of evil magic will work on the Prince!" He lowered the polymer Excalibur over Miki's head, "Due to the Dragon being too scared at the Prince's true ability he was unable to move, and thus-" bopping her lightly with the flat side of the blade. "-the Prince was able to easily slay the beast, ending his reign of terror!" He drew the sword back and sheathed the sword (wait, there's a sheath to it?). "Finally, the Prince and the Princess lived happily ever after," Woooo, happy end, congratulations.

Right about now he should have immediately bounded towards the semi-truck, eager to change back to his old lovable black sweater. However, there was something else that had piqued his interest, to the point that he had completely forgotten everything about his over-gaudy clothing. "Miki..." He turned over to the girl in the dragon costume, dropping all of his fancy prince-y act, a surprised smile on his face. "You can breath fire?"

"OH SHIii....oot!" Robyn exclaimed after the firey blast, catching herself before she swore in front of their "attacker." Robyn actually jumped back a bit in shock when the stream of flames came toward them from the small girl; that fire was hot! THIS was certainly the last thing she expected to come from the girl, and apparently the ball of fire even surprised the mini dragon herself. Miki blinked a few times, frozen in place, hands still up above her head. Robyn was so surprised, in fact, that she forgot to properly laugh at Seth's panicked response with the sword.

"That...was..."
she paused for a moment before her surprise turned into a bright smile, "AWESOME! Did you see that?? That was the biggest one ever!" she exclaimed with a few excited jumps in the air. "I knew it, they said I'd get better and I did!"

"...um..."

Robyn was at a genuine loss for words. But what could she have expected in a city full of metahumans? Clearly this little girl was a pyromancer, although the fact of the matter was hidden until just now. Why she didn't use those abilities when she was getting kidnapped months ago was beyond her, but it looked like she didn't have complete control over them just yet.

"You...knew you could do that..?"

"O'course! Mom says the first time I did it was when I was a baby and I burped and set her hair on fire,"
the girl explained with a giggle. "Now...back to the game!" she directed, pointing a finger into the sky with determination.

Crap. So much for the girl being excited to discover "new powers" and thus forgetting the rest of the game. Robyn internally cursed the situation, starting to get really warm and uncomfortable in her fluffy, sparkly prison gown. There was a crowd of children watching them like it was a live production of some amusement park show. Robyn was NOT going to be signing any autographs after this thing was over.

She hoped that Seth shared similar sentiments about wanting to finish up and get changed, and it seemed like he did. Despite the fireball, he went back to his role with even more fervor than she thought he even possessed. Maybe he wanted to get this over with even more than she did. The white-robed "prince" easily walked up to the dragon, tapped her on the head with the flat side of the sword, and called game over.

Robyn let out a sigh of relief and looked up at the sky, mouthing "Thank God" as if she'd just survived being narrowly hit by a car. Except the "car" was anyone else she knew, and being hit was a metaphor for being seen. She loved playing with Miki, but was more inclined to stay with swings and slides than busting out an entire production of Cinderella, or...whatever princess story involved a dragon.

Despite the fact that Seth had clearly defeated the monster, Miki was not going to go down without a fight!

"Grawr...you got me!"
she cried in a dramatic display of stumbling around, clasping her head, and acting like she was dying with various moans and roars. "But you can't have my princess! I will make her sleep...FOREVER!" With the final words she threw her hands forward at Robyn as if casting a spell, wiggling her fingers and letting out a frightfully maniacal laugh. Where did a little girl learn to do that?

Robyn, however, was unfazed. As they had been hit by a fireball earlier, she expected her to honestly know some sort of a sleep-inducing spell, but fortunately THIS attack was actually all in her head. Not to mention her brain couldn't compute why this game was still going, as Seth had clearly ended it with the sword bop to the head. The faux princess stared back at the dragon with unimpressed stoicism. Miki frowned, dropping her arms from the spell-casting position and cupping her hands around her mouth like a mini megaphone.

"You're s'possed to fall over and fall asleep!"
Miki whispered, trying to direct the girl to her next move. Seriously, it was pretty clear what was supposed to happen. Robyn was obviously out of practice playing pretend. She tried to play it off as if he wasn't blatant, and grudgingly went along with it despite the protest of her inner monologue.

"...Oh, right. Um...oh no, a sleeping spell!"
she said with more sarcasm than princess-y shock, once again throwing the back of a cliched hand up to her forehead. More bad theatrics followed and Robyn fell over into the sand on the playground in a heap of glittery gold and ruffles. She was pretty sure her body was actually hovering off the ground with the eighty-two layers of fabric between her and the sand. Still, her head rested on the ground and she closed her eyes. Ugh...sand in her hair...it was going to be like playground herpes that would never completely wash out of her hair.

"MWUAhahaha!"
Miki bellowed (as much as a little girl could) after Robyn completed her dramatic scene. This was the official cue for the dragon to take her exit from the living world, finishing up with her death and dying, complete with drawn-out roaring, falling to her knees, and reaching up to the sky with one hand.

This should have been the end. But oh no, it couldn't be. A princess story couldn't end as simple as this! Miki had one more curve ball up her sleeve and she got ready to figuratively clobber both of them with it. This was HER play fantasy, and just like her books, it was going to have the same ending! It was like she was in a living fairy tale, how great is that!

Speaking of which, wasn't it Sleeping Beauty that had the prince and the princess and the dragon? Princess had to be rescued from the dragon-guarded castle by the prince. But didn't that also mean....according to the story...

"She will never wake up...unless her prince kisses her!"
she said with a giddy grin.

Well, shit.

And with that, she flopped her head and limbs onto the ground and closed her eyes. The children surrounding the presentation clapped at Miki's performance, who stood up, threw her dragon head hoodie back, and bowed a bunch of times to thank them for their applause. Not wanting to break character for the duration of the show, she laid back down after appealing to her adoring fans right where she had "died" earlier.

Before any of the applause, and the second Miki finished her declaration, Robyn's eyes opened up in shock. She swiftly dug her elbows into the sand and propped herself up in protest, snapping her head toward the girl incredulously.

"Wait, WHAT? This is going too far!"
Uh oh, that color was slowly creeping into her cheeks again. She was zero for three with keeping her composure that day, and she had a feeling she was never going to live this down. Why her? All she wanted to do today was enjoy the weather at the park, not play matchmaker.

"Aw, but Miss Robyn! Pleeeease, it's the best part!"
Miki protested and pleaded with clasped hands, sticking out her lower lip and pouting.

Robyn's eyebrow twitched as she looked from Miki, to Seth, then back to Miki. She couldn't even make eye contact with the boy, she was so embarrassed over the whole thing. This was absolutely insane. And what was this girl's obsession with playing out her fantasy book to a T? This was NOT happening!

Any normal boy would be riled up at the chance of being able to perform an intimate CPR with a beautiful girl. Seth was no different. At the mention of the most important plot device in the story, the very one needed for a truly happy (or unhappy) ending, Seth's face flared up again, losing his voice in the process. He wanted to say no, he wanted to reject that last scene and claim the end of the story as it is, but there are two things holding him back. The first one should be quite obvious, and the second one had something to do with the innocent enthusiasm of the little director.

He wasn't exactly sure how to explain the true meaning of a mouth-to-mouth contact between two grown-up human being of the opposite sex to a preschooler. For all he knows, she might simply thought of it as something that every children stories that involves a Prince and a Princess must have. Come to think of it, that only further proves her overbearing innocence. Maybe. Although, he still have to question her later about her obsession in keeping the authenticity of a pretend game. By authenticity, I meant, playing each of the roles to the very depth of their heart. And she's playing her role as the director to her kidney.

Now, if Seth had the mind of a simple sixteen year old kid, by now he'd probably be bludgeoned to death just for glancing at her. Luckily enough he had enough sense than to even attempt to look excited about this. Besides, he just can't be excited about this because... yeah.

He walked over to the dragon-cosplaying kid, crouching down to her level with a pleading and hopeful smile. And maybe with a little sternness in it. "Miki... uhm... you do know that... I can't really kiss her, right?"

"Eh?" Her eyes perked open in surprise and confusion as she inquired an explanation while still lying on the ground. "Why?"

"Because... uhm... well you see... Ah, it's really hard to explain..." He ruffled his head, staring at the ground a few moments before giving a sigh, opting for the most simple of explanation without having to mess with the little girl's brain too much. "It's strange for us to be... kissing, you know. It's very uncomfortable,"

Even with that she still had to pause for a few seconds to absorb whatever was being spooned at her. She hm'ed for a few moments before pushing herself to a sitting position, cocking her head slightly in puzzlement at Seth's answer. Apparently, this is what she had in mind. "But why would it be strange? Don't you two like each other?"

Okay, first of all one needs to wonder why would a preschooler think that kissing another person is something normally done between people who like each other. Kids her age should be more preoccupied by cooties and all that instead of being a shipping maestro. Well, he'll look into that later, but for now, "Well... it's just a pretend game, right? Prince and Princess might like each other, but not Secchan and Miss Robyn. So it'd be strange for us to..."

"I don't care,"

What a twist of event. All of a sudden Miki had folded her arms, crossed her legs, scrunched up her face and the whole thing combined to form a powerful and prominent effect of an angry pouting preschooler whom had been denied of something they're dying to have. And it's possible that this had an even more effect to the rich little director. She'd probably grown accustomed to having each and every single one of her wish met, and not having one fulfilled was probably a bit of a shocker to her. Her limbs were wound up so tightly it was unlikely that she'd loosen up within the same week. "We're playing a pretend game, Secchan's the Prince, and Miss Robyn's the Princess,"

"Well, yeah, we know that, but..." He said in an exasperated voice, but was cut short by a horrific sight. Something more terrible and terrifying than even the unseeable sight of the great Eldritch Abomination.

Miki's eyes were welling up in tears.

Ack. Oh dear, oh dear oh dear oh dear, what should he do? All this time they were trying to keep her happy, but in the end he made her cry. Okay, so it was a little bit bratty over her to get worked up over something like this, but can he really blame her? It's the normal behavior of a girl her age, just amplified due to her lifestyle. "Uhm... Miki-Miki, please don't cry...!"

The half-assed persuasion did not work, as she began to sniffle, sobs were beginning to be heard. It's not gonna be long before she finally breaks apart, and Seth and Robyn would be captured by the guards and brought to the deepest prison of the family, sentenced to die a terrible death for making a little elite cry.

Not... exactly a happy ending here.

Robyn had to admit to herself that it was pretty valiant of Seth to try and explain to Miki the implications of kissing between any two people. Come to think of it, it was pretty amazing how people reacted to the act, and it was considered something that could completely change the dynamics between individuals. She never really dwelt on why it was as big of a deal as people made it out to be; she only knew that she was amongst the many who held it as something you didn't do with just anyone. But these views weren't developed until a better understanding of relationships was gained, and it was extremely likely Miki had little exposure to this sort of withholding. The only exposure she had to kissing was probably between family members, and these were likely the only people she really interacted with aside from the occasional playdate.

The pretend princess tried to see it from the young girl's point of view. It wasn't like she was going to full-on makeout with the boy, and it was something that little girls were brought up with during bedtime stories as something that made "true love" happen. It certainly was a romantic concept, but something that adults forgot about as their first "true love" fell apart and they were continually jaded by the realities of society and heartbreak. It was unfortunate that childhood innocence could not be held onto, something Robyn felt she had lost far too soon thanks to irresponsibility of the adults around her.

Watching the interaction between the two was even the slightest bit endearing to the ex-hired gun. It was like a parent trying to explain to a child why their fish wasn't swimming anymore, except it was why a dream could not be realized, while trying to maintain the child's emotions. He was treading on eggshells and trying to be careful with his choice of words, but after realization of what he was saying began to sink in, the pieces started to crumble.

She saw the welling of the tears, the turning under of the corners of the mouth, and the inevitable tremble of the chin on the dragon girl. She wasn't susceptible to much, but crying children may have been one of those weaknesses. Of course, there was a difference between children crying and screaming because their parent won't buy them a candy bar, and children who were upset because they were hurt in some way. This was one of those strange "tweener" cases where she wasn't getting what she wanted...but Robyn felt like it was ultimately their fault instead of greed of the girl.

"Uhm... Miki-Miki, please don't cry...!"
he said as he attempted to console the girl, but to no avail.

"Aaagh, jeez Seth. Seriously."

Robyn sat all the way up with a grumble and crawled over as best she could in her sparkling straight jacket to where Seth and Miki were. To be honest, she thought he did pretty well with his trying to convince her otherwise; she just happened to be stubborn. The servants were hovering off in the distance with a close eye on everyone, making sure they maintained this meltdown from completely happening.

"Hey now, big girls don't cry, right?"
she said as she sat the girl up and plopped her into her lap so she was sitting sideways, using her arm to support the girl's back. She wasn't sure where she got these kid skills from, but she went along with it. Robyn took a gloved hand and wiped Miki's tears away, the child sniffling a few more times and rubbing an eye with her hand.

"N-no...I s'pose not..."
she said trying to stifle a sob. "But I d-don't understand...it's just pretend...and it's in all my books so they have a happy ending..."

"You know what, you're right. It is just pretend,"
she replied with a rare warm smile. It would be a good idea if Seth didn't get used to this kind of behavior from her. "But why is it so important to you?"

"Well...'cause..."
she thought about it for a few moments. "'Cause the princess can't be happy unless she has her prince! And...and...if he doesn't kiss her to wake her up, she'll be 'lone forever!" Clearly this story seemed to hit home with the preschooler as she started building up with more tears. No matter how many times she seemed to have heard the story, it affected her the same each time. Much like a child who hears bedtime stories and is riveted until the ending, she was clinging to this game as it was more than just a book. It was a living representation of her childhood.

Robyn wiped the few tears that fell once again and tucked some hair behind her ear. It almost looked like she was one of the hired princesses at Disney World trying to comfort a child who just dropped her ice cream cone. Her mind drifted back to her initial intent of playing with the girl to make her day and maintain that childhood happiness, and it was starting to overpower her desire to drop everything where it was and leave it be.

"You know what? Let me talk to 'Secchan' and we'll see what we can do."
And with that she carefully stood the girl up, stood up herself with some effort, and pulled Seth off to the side. Her expression was clearly taxed and she was overcoming some sort of mental discomfort, but she approached him anyway.

"Listen,"
she said quietly with a sigh, pressing her fingertips to her temples in exasperation. "We're both adults. Or at least more adult than 90% of the people here. Is it THAT big of a deal...since it means so much to her?" She didn't know what else to say, and she only occasionally flicked her eyes at him throughout the request. Even if it was Miki's dream to have a real prince and princess, that didn't negate the fact that it was extremely awkward for the two. Still, there was that whole "cultural upbringing" difference. Americans and Europeans tended to be more open with such acts, while Asians were very closed off in comparison. Even hugging was a huge deal on Asian television dramas. Not to say that there was a lot of hugging and kissing in Robyn's childhood, but luckily the lack thereof didn't turn her into a hooker with daddy issues in her later years. She wasn't the most stable, but she could've turned out a helluva lot worse.

"I'm not trying to crush this girl's dream today. So you keep your hormones in check, tell NO ONE, and it is STRICTLY for the sake of this little girl. Got it?"
Ah yes, there was that threatening face and piercing look that everyone knew so well. The key was to not make a huge deal out of it, right?

Yeah, right.

Everyone looooves to make him make the last deciding decision. To the point where it was starting to get irritating. Can't he be the one who follows orders and commands instead?

Wait, that happened a lot of time before, and he had to go through a lot of trouble for it. Maybe it's a good (or bad?) thing that she didn't suddenly pull him to a kiss without getting his consent just to keep the little girl happy. Even then, it still didn't eliminate the fact that whatever Miki was asking for was not within their realm of comfort. Although, from the looks of it, Robyn seemed to have mustered enough courage to actually do it that she had decided to put everything into his hand. Or perhaps he could say, she insisted they HAD to do it, just to keep the little one happy. Simply for the sake of the girl, nothing more, nothing less, nothing in between. JUST. FOR THE GIRL. GOT IT???

Did she really thought it would be that easy? Because in Seth's mind, even after all the assurance that they're doing it simply for Miki's sake, it doesn't change the fact that they still have to do it. And to Seth, it's a pretty damn big deal, no matter how they made him look at it. Aaah, what a brain. So mature, yet so childish. He turned his red face away, twirling his thumbs together as his scrambled mind contemplated her bold declaration of "Just do it!". Easy for her to say, when technically she's dumping all the burden of actually doing it on him. Well, yeah, it sounded more like an order than a request, but even then he had a choice to go through. He could just play along, dismissing any sort of awkwardness that comes in the package, or he could be adamant about not doing it, at the risk of ruining the little girl's day and a big fat wallop to his guts by the big girl.

Such an obvious choice, but still, "W-well... even if you say that... don't you at least find it... I mean, you're still a girl and all..." All of a sudden he had a vision of himself face-palming (x2 combo!) inside his own head. He was pretty sure he never thought about face-palming at all, so that had to be...

I've had enough of this. He had enough of this. Playing a pretend game was ridiculous enough, playing a pretend game for three hours straight was ludicrous. But now they're arguing about snogging each other just to keep a little girl happy? If you take the sentence word by word by their literal meanings without studying the history of it, it would definitely sound very weird.

Whatever, V had enough. "Right, okay I get it," Without any hesitation he took over Seth's body, the embarrassed expression form before immediately turned stoic, his hands flew to his hips, looking about as determined and confident as Seth was anxious and compromised. "Since Seth's not in the mood of doing any 'indecent acts' in public, I'll take over from here," With about as much enthusiasm as a brick, he snatched her wrist with his vice grip, just to make sure that she won't be the one who runs away from all this, and dragged her back to the little girl who had since calmed down. Seth ain't going down without a fight, though. V! V, what are you thinking?! You can't go around forcing yourself on people like this! It's... it's like... He didn't manage to actually find the word to describe it.

V ignored him, as it has the potential of perpetuating a vicious cycle of "YES!"s and "NO!"s that could last for an entire hour, thereby delaying the time when they could have ended it. And back to the girl he dragged Robyn, finally letting go of her and proceeded to fold his arms. "Okay little girl. Since Miss Robyn here is dying to get a taste of the Prince, I have no choice but to go with the story. Well! Come on then, let's get it started, the Princess's dying, we need to save her with a kiss. Chop chop, time's-a-wastin'. Happy ending waits for no one," He sounded... enthusiastic. Believe me though, he had nothing else in his mind but to get this ridiculousness done quick.

Dangerously Cheesy.
There it was, that internal persona switch that she was wondering if it would happen or not. So far it seemed to have been Seth the entire time, and now she was graced with the presence of the ever-abrasive, glassware-crushing Not Seth (she still had to go out and buy a new glass to replenish her cupboard). The personalities of the two...personalities...were so drastically different that it almost WAS like two separate people were in front of her. It seemed to her that Not Seth only came out when Seth was put into a situation in which he completely shut down and was unable to function, such as via overwhelming fluster in regards to the ending of their game. She was getting tired of calling him Not Seth in her mind and started entertaining the idea of giving him a new name for her reference. How about Jerk? It seemed fitting, although it was too common amongst names she chose for people. So how about...Pretty Jerk, to narrow down which jerk she was talking about.

The one good thing about Pretty Jerk was that he seemed to be the decisive one of the two. Even if Seth was going to fall back into the corners of his mind, at least his body wasn't left motionless like those animals that froze for defense. Still, it was this guy that tried to kill (or at least attack) her in the warehouse, nearly sliced his hand open in her apartment, and finally got to the point of identifying itself as someone other than who she thought lived in that body and mind. The girl could only hope that one day this whole mess would be properly explained to her, as it really gave her a headache to try and figure out.

So...right. Decisive. That was the name of the game. And with the rigor mortis grip he had on Robyn's wrist, Pretty Jerk was winning, and starting to redirect Robyn's dislike from her dress unto him. She was unexpectedly dragged back over to the girl, stumbling along the way from the poor combination of bad footwear and deep sand. Upon reaching their destination she managed to wrench her arm away from him after a few moments with a scowl (and likely mostly because he decided to let go. Seriously, where did all that strength come from in those skinny little arms?). Next order of business was pulling the glass slippers off her feet so that she could walk properly. Not to mention sand was getting in them and starting to grate on her pressure points.

"Okay little girl. Since Miss Robyn here is dying to get a taste of the Prince, I have no choice but to go with the story. Well! Come on then, let's get it started, the Princess's dying, we need to save her with a kiss. Chop chop, time's-a-wastin'. Happy ending waits for no one."

"Yaaay!"
was Miki's response, happily clapping her hands with a huge smile on her face. "You guys are the best! This is the most awesomest game of pretend ever!"

"Whoa there, buddy,"
Robyn announced with a frown, holding up a hand to get the boy to stop talking. "I didn't say ANYthing about 'dying' to do this. If anything, I'd say YOU were the one looking to get a piece of this, what with your sudden change of heart. This is strictly a verbal contractual agreement that is null and void immediately after. Let's go, PRINCE," she said in a very sarcastic and annoyed tone with a forced smile, roughly grabbing a handful of his robes by the shoulder and pulling him along. "Like you said, time's a-wastin'!"

After the verbal banter, Robyn decided that it was no longer an awkward action between two teens. It was now more along the lines of a challenge between two headstrong individuals who weren't going to back down. There were some instances during which Robyn would take the higher road and leave her taunter to their business without even looking in their direction. This, was not one of those instances. Who did this guy think he was, and why was it so easy for him to get her riled up? Pretty Jerk was dangerously close to getting himself turned into Puddly Goo.

One thing was for certain: walking in her bare feet on the sand was a lot more comfortable than the shoe choice she'd been given by her cosplay rapists. Once they reached their spot (which albeit was pretty much only a meter or two away from the mini pyro), the fake smile dropped off of Robyn's face and she pulled him in close to her. Her expression couldn't even be entirely described as "threatening" as that only scraped the surface of the look she was giving him. She had to muster as much authority as she could if she was going to be taken seriously in a princess gown.

"You're lucky that adorable little girl is here for your sake, for a whole long list of reasons that I'm deciding not to act on right now," Robyn said in a low voice, attempting to pierce his soul with her icy-blue eyes. "You try anything funny, and you're a dead man." Tsundere FTW!

She released her grip on him and stepped back a foot or so, checking the ground behind her before laying back onto it. Ugh, she felt like she was some sort of Mayan princess giving herself up as a sacrifice for the gods, except it was a sacrifice of her dignity for a little girl's happiness. Since when did she subject herself to this kind of treatment? Sure, she had been the one to initially suggest they "just do it" and get it over with like a couple of adults (a level of maturity for which she could only really vouche herself), but that was with the more reasonable Seth. She wasn't used to dealing with guys who had the cojones to try and push her around with the goal of coming out on top. For some reason, although not consciously admitting it to herself, she may have even enjoyed the challenge. Something about "defeating all opponents" was a good boost for the ego, but it did get boring after a while.

After the brief intermission following Magic Dragon Miki's death, the children who had been milling around dutifully took up their seats once again to watch the playground fairy tale draw to a close. After all of the drama seemed to contain itself, Miki opted for ditching her character completely and seating herself amongst the captivated audience, legs folded pretzel-style and gazing intently. Really, what was wrong with these kids? Apparently a love for drama was instilled in them from birth because any other child should have been throwing their hands over their face to block out the "gross" image. It made sense if one was trying to figure out why there were so many damn television and movie dramas in Japan.

"Annnnnd...ACTION!"
called the production director from her seat on the ground after shushing the surrounding children, much to Robyn's relief and dismay.

With a sense of finality and bidding farewell to her self-respect as she knew it, the Playground Princess closed her eyes. More than wearing the dress and putting on a mock princess voice, this was undoubtedly the worst part of all. She felt too vulnerable, laying out in broad daylight without an eye on her surroundings, and it made her anxious. Sure, she'd developed a fighter and survivor's senses so everything besides her eyesight heightened in anticipation, but she knew she relied a great deal on her vision.

Robyn shifted her attention from her surroundings to herself. She heard a quickened pace of her heart; not quite a panic, but also not as relaxed as she'd like it to be. Perhaps it was that anxiousness she was feeling from being unable to see...yes, that had to be it. It couldn't be the petty reason of being moments away from being kissed. Come to think of it, when was the last time she kissed anyone? It must have been...nope, that wasn't it. Perhaps...no, not then either. She'd played some suggestive roles as a hired gun but she never took it as far as kissing her targets since, after all, they were targets. Still, she couldn't think of the last time she had one. Robyn had been by herself since she left home, her training at the company didn't allow for much interaction, and kissing was out of the question as a child (since NORMAL children understand the severity of cooties). So did that mean...

No. That was impossible. She was nineteen years old. She remembered her first kiss like it was yesterday. They were outside, on the roof of a building, she was in a dress and he had curly hair and big brown eyes, and he wore a musketeer-pirate sorta thing....wait. Wasn't that a scene from Pirates of the Caribbean? Damn. She must've fallen asleep while watching it the other night and the image was stuck in her head. But if that wasn't real, did that mean...

And now he was about to...

NO. She was having a memory lapse, that's all. She was NOT going to back down and let Pretty Jerk win this challenge and make her bail before it happens. She made up her mind to follow through with this. Why should she have to take it so seriously? She wouldn't, and the fact that she hadn't been kissed in a while, or potentially ever, wasn't going to change anything. Nope, not a single thing.

...Okay, maybe one thing. Or two things. But it was simply pretend, right? RIGHT?!

Hurryuphurryuphurryuphurryup...
started to cycle itself through her inner monologue, acting almost like a catalyst for her pulse while she simultaneously tried to keep the color from rising in her cheeks. This needed to get done and over with before she thought about it too much longer and suffered a panic attack, not that she'd allow that to be plainly obvious. The rest of her energy was spent on looking as cool and collected as possible; Pretty Jerk would not see such weakness!

Why the hell did he agree to this?

Why would he feel awkward about this though? It's not like this is his problem. It's not like this really meant anything, really. As far as he could define it, kissing is a simple act of touching between two people's lips. Nothing more, nothing less. It's really just like holding hands, or bumping fists, or high-fiveing. He thought none of those hold any significant suggestion or something of the sort. And that includes kissing.

But really, who was he to judge? Sure, he had learned a lot about the human world ever since he became conscious about it, but from the looks of it, there's a still whole damn lot for him to learn about. Like, for example in this particular situation, why the hell is kissing such a big damn deal?

...No, that's not probably why he was feeling awkward. It's really more BECAUSE he was feeling awkward, that he's feeling awkward. It's an awkward cycle of awkwardness that hides more than it's awkward exterior could explain. Complicated, and it makes no sense. Okay, so it kinda does. If you can put the points together. Look for the points yourself, I'm just blabbering nonsense here.

Still, he thought, as he lowered himself to his knee next to the navy-haired young woman lying eyes closed, pretty much subjected herself to his will. He wondered whether this is a good thing or a bad thing? Wait, he was supposed to think about whether all this was actually even necessary. It's really overwhelming, that he's actually debating on whether to do it or not to do it, despite what he said earlier about kissing being a simple act that is simply an act without any meaning to it whatsoever. It's kinda annoying.

...Oh, just do it. With such determination in mind he slid an arm behind her neck, promptly lifting her up to his level. However, instead of blindly executing the act, he hesitated momentarily with his face a foot away from hers, and his expression as annoyed as ever. Moments passed as he kept on trying to figure out why he still hadn't done it even after two minutes? Finding the reason for his hesitation was like trying to find a bone needle in a haystack. The overwhelming invisible barrier from inside him was extremely chagrin-inducing. Like hell he's gonna keep something like an unexplained thumping in his mind heart hold him back from something like this. And look at her, she looks so calm and composed, it felt like a terrible loss if he loses his cool here.

And he hates losing.

Why do I feel excitement coming from you?

E-eh?! N-no! I wasn't... I mean... this is...!

Keep your hormones in check, boy. Yeah, he could have easily blocked his own vision, in turn blocking any visual perception that could suggest the kissing act being done. But that somehow felt cowardly. Gritting his teeth, and with his brows scrunching slightly, he said, "Just for clarification, this is just a pretend game," Without further ado, he leaned forward, and touched their lips together.

The heartwarming moment lasted for a short while as he held her face to him for a good few seconds, before finally breaking the act. He withdrew his face slowly from her, looking as dreamy about it as ever. But it didn't last long, as for some reason, a gleeful grin cracked on his face, and he stuck out his tongue playfully at her. "Oh please, you don't think I'd actually do it, now do you?"

If her brain was too paralyzed with fear, anxiety and that other thing, she probably wouldn't realize that someone had ninja'd a duct tape across her mouth, preventing absolutely nothing to get through the glued cloth barrier, and especially to her lips.

"The Princess woke up after the loving kiss made by her Prince, and thus, they lived happily ever after. The end," He proclaimed to the audience, opting to just drop her to the ground like a mannequin with its role finished. Not exactly as good of a commentary as Seth would have done, but still.

He seriously wished that there was a mirror here somewhere.

Robyn laid on the sand completely still, listening to the pounding of her pulse in her head. What the hell was taking him so long? She felt like he was purposely deliberating over the whole ordeal just to make her squirm or see if she'd back-out first. Not today, pal. It's going to be Robyn 1, Pretty Jerk 0. Of all the days, though...this was going to make her seriously reconsider ever coming to the park again. She had a strange feeling she'd be attacked by children at the playground for her role as the princess like a mini local celebrity. And kids were adorable, but she didn't need recollection of this event every time she took a stroll.

The second she felt the hand slip under her neck and prop her up, her body instantaneously tensed. Although she wasn't looking directly at him, she could see his shadow hovering over her and blocking out the light. Not to mention the fact that when someone's face is merely a foot away from your own, you can actually feel how close they are to you with the subtle radiating of body heat and faint sense of breathing. Robyn was mentally focused on continuing to breathe, knowing well that if she forgot to do that, her heart rate would skyrocket, and she'd slip into a coma. It was a good thing few people were witnessing this as it was doing nothing for her reputation. Still, while being held in this position wasn't terribly uncomfortable (hey, her hair was out of the sand, right?), it WAS particularly awkward. Challenge or not, she never saw herself kissing her colleagues as per the demands of a small child.

"Just for clarification, this is just a pretend game,"
came a voice a lot closer to her face than she realized. It almost made her jump after the long bout of silence between the two, sounding like he was yelling in her face although in reality it was likely only she could hear him. The closer their faces came, the closer the children leaned in, gripping their little hands into fists of anticipation. It was like the world's most painful waiting game. Until finally...

...That was weird. She thought there would at least be some sort of minor spark to make the whole moment more magical, but there was nothing. At all. It was almost like they weren't even kissing. Was he smashing his face into her, or was he wearing the world's stickiest chap stick? Whatever it was, she was pretty sure this wasn't what skin-to-skin contact felt like and a wave of confusion washed over her. Regardless of the fact that what was happening wasn't what she was anticipating, she COULD feel that his face was pressed against hers. Was she in shock and her body was failing to properly relay external stimuli feelings to her brain? Something wasn't right here. As soon as he pulled away she opened her eyes, but despite the fact that he was no longer smushed against her, she still had that feeling of pressure on her mouth. Next she tried to pull her lips apart to talk annnnd...no avail.

"Mm mm mmmm?!"

"Oh please, you don't think I'd actually do it, now do you?"

Her hands flew up to her face in confusion and minor panic to see what was on it. Running her fingers over where her mouth was allowed her to deduce that there was something stuck to her skin, and that something seemed to be a strip of tape. To add insult to injury, despite how sweet he attempted to be, he dropped her flat on her back after the deed was done, her head crashing against the sand. Was this her losing the challenge? Had he bested her at the game of fairy tale chicken? The thought started to boil up inside of her...she was not good at losing. He continued to announce the ending of the story while the children cheered and applauded their approval, Miki the most excited of all.

"That was great, Secchan! You're the bestest prince ever!"
Miki complimented, jumping up from her

on the ground and giving him a big hug around his leg (since that's about how tall she was). Robyn, on the other hand, was more focused on getting the sticky strip off her face while Seth--er, Pretty Jerk took the spotlight. She turned her head away from the children, especially Miki, to keep them from seeing no kiss was actually accomplished. She then grabbed it by one side with a gloved hand and peeled back, doing her damnedest to contain herself from screaming at the pain from the sensitive facial skin being pulled. In a few moments and some silent screams later, the tape was removed, and she saw that it was a piece of duct tape. Her head whipped around and her eyes flicked up toward her "savior."

"Duct tape, really?! I think some clear packing tape would've sufficed and been a lot less painful..." she said with a scowl as she sat up and rubbed the tingling red skin on her face. Luckily the kids were none the wiser on what had happened which was fine by her--a huge weight had been lifted off her shoulders with that scene being done and over with. Best of all, now she could get back into her normal clothes.

She stood up from the sand pit and brushed herself off, doing her best to shake the sand out of her hair and keep it from getting into her dress. She was hot, uncomfortable, and still the slightest bit flustered so she wanted everything to be over so she could go home and...sit around, I guess. Miki took it upon herself to let go of the boy's leg and run up to her enthusiastically.

"You too, Miss Robyn! You were great! Princess Robyn is my new favorite princess,"
she said with a giggle, latching onto the girl's dress with a bright smile. Looking down at her and how happy she was, she realized although it was like pulling teeth, it really did make Miki's day as was obvious by the expression on her face. Robyn's look of discontent slowly melted away into a small smile, and she crouched down amongst her poof of glittery fabric until she was at the girl's eye level.

"Only for you, Miki-chan!"
As in, only this once. And never again.

Miki's smile brightened even more and she threw her small arms around Robyn's neck in a hug. Although surprised at first, Robyn eventually returned the gesture, enveloping the tiny torso in her arms. Maybe if she ever failed at readjusting her life to become a detective she'd have a job as a princess at an amusement park.

....Hah, who was she kidding.

The hug broke between the two and Robyn stood back up. Before she knew it, the other little girls on the playground started to swarm around her. Apparently they thought this was the "actor meet and greet" performances often did at the end of a show. Except they might have thought she was a real princess. Comments flew left and right, from saying how much they loved her dress, to how "pretty" she was, and ended with one girl asking her to come to her princess birthday party.

"I always wanted to have a real princess at my birthday!"

"Eheh..."
Robyn started looking around for a route of escape. She needed to get out of there before she ended up as a Rent-a-Princess, or at the very least before she destroyed these girls' beliefs that she was true royalty. She turned to see what Seth was doing and it looked like he was faring similarly. The boys had surrounded him and were commenting on his "super awesome jump" and defeating the monster and all that good stuff.

Robyn carefully shuffled away from the crowd that surrounded her, inching her way towards the truck.

"I'm sorry everyone, but I need to be going!"
Despite the protest of the children, she shoved one of the maids out of the way, jumped into the moving closet, and shut the door behind her.

A short wrestling session with the dress later, she emerged from the truck in her street clothes as if the whole thing had never happened. The children had dispersed (for the most part) though some were still hanging out with Seth. Her mouth was still a bit sore from ripping the tape off, but in hindsight, it was probably better it never happened. It'd make things pretty weird around the agency. Fixing her hair to the way it was before, she called out.

"Hey, 'Prince.' Your turn."

~~After the cloth changing and the kiddie crowd dispersing had been done~~

"Goodbye Secchan, Miss Robyn! Let's play together again sometimes!" She waved happily through the open window from the inside of the black luxurious car, her face bright with unparalleled happiness. Shortly after that the power window rose, gradually hiding her face from the outside world, as the car itself revved around and away from the park, back to wherever it came from in the first place. Seth simply stood there at the park gate, waving at the retreating car, also with a smile on his face. However, as soon as the limousine took a turn and was out of sight, he immediately let out a huge sigh of exasperation. Not that he's unhappy to be with her all this time. It's just that, the trip to do some business work at the park somehow turned to a very tiring playdate session that involved a Prince, a Princess, and a Magic Dragon. That is not how he had intended to spend a single good spring day.

"Never thought kids would be such a handful... heh," He said, weakly, his arms hanging limply from his hunchbacked figure. Playing as the Prince was already mentally exhausting. And that still doesn't count whatever they had to do to fully satisfy the insatiable kiddie crowd that kept on clamoring around them even after they had long since let go of their Prince and Princess persona. Nevertheless, after a few long hours of patience (that was dangerously close to running out) the kiddie crowd began to dissipate as the day became late, leaving only a few of them left playing the swings or the slides under the supervision of their guardians.

The sun had almost set, the yellowish glare of the afternoon lights have dimmed down to a more tolerable shade of orange, along with the temperature. Though, to be honest it wasn't all that hot earlier during the day. In a few short hours the sun itself would dip completely through the horizon, leaving the entire city to plunge in the world of darkness, illuminated by nothing more than the lights from the moon, the stars (though they don't count as much), and the street lamps that was popping to life on by one even now.

Silence for a few moments after the big sigh. That had been a pretty peaceful moment, despite all the embarrassing shenanigans that he had to go through. He could swear, that that was perhaps one of the most serene moments he ever had ever since he stepped into this city. And there was no doubt that he would miss this moment when there's nothing but smiles and laughter all around. "...well, I suppose I'll call it a day," He said, stretching himself and popping a few bones in the process. "I'll see you at work tomorrow then," He turned around, with full intention to go back to his dorm room. But for some reason, an unknown force from inside him made him turn yet another 180 degrees, ending up facing Robyn yet again.

"HOoooooold it, kid. There's something I have to settle with her," The same voice, but with a different tone to it, came out of the very same mouth that had smiled just a few moments before. Now his face had nothing happy about it. ...Or maybe a little. Mischievousness, maybe? It wasn't apparent at all, seeing as it was almost bored. But really, there's something on that face, like there's a hidden agenda hidden in Seth's second mind's mind.

"Now, you may think Seth won't notice it..." V began, taking a few steps backwards away from her. "But there's no way you can fool my sights," Once he was sure there's absolutely no way for her to get to him within arm's reach in less than two leaps, he slipped a hand into his pocket. "Now, this is an order, delete that picture you just took earlier..." He said, taking out a cellphone. He pressed a few buttons, before turning it over with a smirk on his face, showing the screen of the cellphone to her. "Or these goes global,"

On the screen (though he doubted whether she could actually see it from that far away) was a collection of pictures and videos of Robyn in the princess costume. High-Definition with high-speed motion capture, every single small details of every scene of the pretend game was perfectly reincarnated in the form of pictures and videos. The one when she just got out of the moving cloth store in her princess costume, the one when she was at the top of the so-called fortress, 'screaming' for the prince to be careful of the dragon's demise, the moment when she clung to Prince Seth for dear life as he 'heroically' jumped over the railing of the playhouse, and worst (or best, in V's case), was the intimate moment when the prince and the princess kissed.

What the... HAYHAYHAY!!! V, WHERE DID YOU GET ALL THAT?!?!?!

"I have my sources," He said simply, before turning his attention back to Robyn. The 'Upload' bar on the screen of the phone was showing: 80%.

"Sooo.... what's it gonna be~?"He taunted her, playfully waving the cellphone in front of him.

As Miki waved to the two of them while driving off into the sunset, Robyn waved back with a small, exhausted smile on her face. She had not intended on spending the entire day at the park, let alone in the playground surrounded by children while wearing a princess gown. The children had effectively leeched all of the life out of her and she was ready to head back to her apartment and recharge. This scenario was coming to an end, and she was glad. She couldn't take this much smiling in one day; the girl was sorely out of practice for such things.

Robyn made sure she had all of her belongings securely tucked into the back pocket of her bottoms and ran the palms of her hands down her face in a single slow motion. She was drained, and Suburbia seemed so far away from where she was right now. The girl heard Seth say something about "tomorrow" and "work" so she chalked that up to a goodbye and threw a hand partially into the air in a half-assed wave. She managed to point herself in the right direction and start off toward home. Until she was stopped.

She heard some mumbling behind her, but assumed that was just Seth talking to himself again. What got her to halt her footsteps was something he said a little louder.

"Now, this is an order, delete that picture you just took earlier...or these go global."

There was only one thing he could have that he could threaten her with, and it forced her to turn on her heels to face him in one swift movement powered by dread. She was too far away to see the details of the phone's display, but the sound coming from its speakers was undeniable.

"Where the hell did you have a cameraman hiding?!"
she demanded, and was oddly enough answered although she didn't know Seth had asked essentially the same question.

"I have my sources. Sooo.... what's it gonna be~?"

She could make out a tiny progress bar at the bottom of the screen that was slowly inching its way to the right until the upload was complete. Robyn was trying to sum up the feelings she was having at the moment, and it created a lethal cocktail of anger, despair and a dash of hatred. This was going too far. She was likely only planning on showing the picture to a few people at the WDA if the opportunity ever presented itself, but chances were she was only going to use it for amusement. THIS was a completely different story, and one that would single-handedly destroy her reputation and make her the laughingstock of the entire city, and that was saying something.

The progress bar was moving still, so she didn't have much time to think about this. She was familiar with these types of deals, but knew there was no easy way out. Even if she did delete the photo, there would be no reason for him to delete all of his files. If she tried to chase him down and steal the phone to delete them herself, she likely wouldn't get the task done until it was too late. Or she could let the whole thing go and watch her self-respect flutter away with each comment and "like" the video got on Youtube. Whatever she did, she could not let this punk pull one over on her.

"I'd take your word for it...but your credibility is a bit shaky with me. And I can't say I trust that attitude of yours."

Was she really going to pull out a firearm near a playground just to save her image?

You're damn skippy.

And with that, her body tensed as she reached down, pulled out a firearm, and pulled the trigger aimed at the small electronic device all within a single second. She hadn't trained those kind of reflexes for nothing, and managed to get out three consecutive shots in case he tried to move. The blasts were only enough to fry the phone and render it useless, so if they happened to hit him it'd be like getting tazed in the arm or hand. Sure, if a blast did destroy the phone she MIGHT offer to buy him a new one as it was a small price to pay for maintaining her dignity as far as she was concerned. If it had been destroyed by her on accident that was no question she would do so, but he was legitimately trying to mentally harm her, and she would not stand for that nor have mercy, colleague or not.

She lowered the weapon and tucked it back into the holster before any of the parents saw and got alarmed enough to call the police, but her hand hovered dangerously close in case she needed to fire again. Luckily due to the fact that it was pretty late, mostly everyone had vacated the park.

"I should've mentioned...I'd be happy to delete it if you deleted your stuff first. But even then this is the only way to be absolutely sure it's all taken care of."

Upload Cancelled.

"WOAH!!!"

Nothing could have prepared him for this, except maybe his in-built hyper-perception capability gained purely because he's a mutant super virus. Out of pure reflex, half a second right before the electromagnetic pulse bullet whatever struck the phone he had his hand jerked back to avoid the flying energy projectile. The fact that they DIDN'T travel at bullet speed quite helped. They zipped dangerously close to his hand, mere millimeters from grazing his- Oh wait. It hits. Apparently it had the same effect as a stun gun or a tazer or summat. While he did managed to make sure it didn't strike the cellphone, it did somehow managed to electrify him. Partly, anyway. And out of pure convenience of the storyline, the nerves and the muscles in his hand tensed in such a way that the 'hang up' button was inadvertently pressed, negating all the hard-earned uploads that the phone and its flimsy internet connection had managed to achieve.

He was far from impressed at her incredible show of gunsmanship. Why would he? After being tazed, I'm pretty sure no one would have a smiling face on their, uh... face. And it was quite a miracle that he was still having a firm grip on the phone, even after being struck with that stun thingy. Well, less miracle and more meta-virus, actually. Wildly, he shook his hand as though it had been burned, the numbing sensation was apparent even if he could still move his hand like normal. Not a very pleasant feeling, mind you. In fact, it's very unpleasant. It's like having your arm shortened, and the shortened part was replaced with a wooden substitute. It was a good five seconds before he could finally regain the feelings in his hand, and when he does, the next thing he did was *glaaaaare* at her. Not silently, of course. He's not gonna let this one go without a protest.

"That was uncalled for!" Eh, I think it was. "Seriously, was that really necessary?" Like I said, it was. He clenched his tazed hand with his good hand, *glaaaaring* at her with the look of incredulity on his face. Then, a voice inside his head piped up. Or rather... another mind voices his opinion through the very same mouth that questioned the justice of the shooting action thingy. At the same time, Seth folded his arms, his expression hadn't changed much, but one could feel that the chagrin was no longer directed towards the girl. "Don't get me wrong, I think you deserved it. What were you thinking, blackmailing her like that?" Once again, the direction vector of the minor hostility changed. "What?! Didn't you see what she did back then-"

"I don't care about whatever she had in mind, the focus right now is you! I don't care whatever reason you have for doing it, you don't destroy other people's dignity! You're stooping as low as Kaimu!"

V was baffled. Of all the reason he had to save Seth's face, he was being beaten down by his own reasoning. To be frank he didn't think that he was level with that rotten school that blackmails people just for the sake of destroying them. Although, in terms of magnitude, he supposed he equals them. Just scaled down. He gritted his teeth, unable to find a sufficiently strong comeback to counter the argument. Frustrating, it really was. But he's gonna back down from what he thinks is right?

In one swift motion he returned his attention back to the phone, directing the cursor to the 'Delete' option and selected it, keeping an eye on Robyn, without even glancing once at the phone (...Uh. V?). Learning from his mistake, he did not wave around the phone in plain view and sight of her gun. This time he held it in his hand, close to him, and made sure it's completely out of her line of fire (V....?). "Fine. Let's make this a deal. You delete his picture, I'll delete yours," He said, still keeping his eyes on her, not daring to take his sights off from her in fear that she might release yet another volley of electromagnetic bullets. "You're doubting my honesty. I'll show you what it means to be honest," Ah, his pride is his loss. Though he is yet to realize this.

Also, V? Talking about honesty? Talk about a good laugh.

Uhm... V...? Hellooo???

Dangerously Cheesy.
Robyn held back her desire to grin at her success as well as she could. She was often one to smirk at her accomplishments depending on the situation, but that was not the tone she was trying to convey at this point. This was a serious matter and nothing to be laughed about, except maybe in hindsight years from now. No one got away with taking advantage of her like that, especially in one of her most vulnerable states, and she was going to make sure THAT message was loud and clear. She may not have exactly hit her intended target, but at least she stopped the digital files from spreading out to the world.

While he spoke to himself, she closed the distance between them, maintaining his eye contact the entire way. A portion of her brain switched back to its mission mode, meaning she was focused on the person in front of her and her surroundings, and her expression was anything but amused. The aura she emitted was not the same held by Princess Robyn on the playground a few hours ago. This one meant business. Nonetheless, the silhouette that was illuminated by the nearly-set sun and the light sway in her hips as she walked was a reminder that she WAS in fact a woman no matter how often she brawled with the boys. That being said, how many people had seen that same figure walking toward them as the last thing they witnessed? No one could be sure, but it was likely a decent number.

The boy was smart in the aspect of keeping his eyes on her since he knew the second he looked away she could pull another stunt of some sort, like attempting to paralyze him completely so she could delete the picture herself. Eventually she stopped within an arm or two's reach of him, shifting her weight onto one leg and propping a hand on that same hip.

"Fine. Let's make this a deal. You delete his picture, I'll delete yours."

Robyn paused for a moment, looking at him closely to see if he really meant what he said. In the end she decided it was not completely unreasonable of a request. With her free hand she brought it around behind her and slid it into the back pocket of her dark shorts, clasping her fingers around her phone and pulling the rectangular plastic object into view. Tearing her gaze away to look over the display, she clicked through a few things until the compromising picture was pulled up onto the screen.

"You're doubting my honesty. I'll show you what it means to be honest."

She flipped the phone around for him to see the display, looking straight at him once again, and pressed a menu button that popped up a window asking,

Delete selected image?
YES | NO

She brought up a finger and selected YES, and after a few turns of an hourglass, a blank box reading NO IMAGE SELECTED replaced the previous picture in question. Once again she paused, making sure he saw what she had done, her expression just as serious as it had been when she fired her weapon at him. Another press of a button and the display of the phone was turned off and she slid the electronic device back into its place in her back pocket.

"If you don't want me to doubt your honesty, then you better damn well prove it's worth believing."

After this comment, what she should have done was stared him down until he reciprocated. She had made such a point to attempt to destroy the images in the first place that surely she would want to witness their demise personally so she could sleep at night.

Instead, she dropped her hand off of her hip and turned around, walking off in the direction she'd been going before she was stopped in the first place. She went on her way into the diminishing sunset, taking in a few deep breaths to calm herself from everything. If she knew anything, it was that his type was the sort who would rather have trust instilled in him than be forced to prove it against his will, and the odds of him deleting those pictures were better if she gave him the opportunity to do it (after a healthy dose of threats, of course). Maybe it didn't really matter to him whether or not she trusted him or believed he wasn't a liar, but if that were the case, he probably shouldn't have gotten so defensive about being considered a liar in the first place.

"Later, Pretty Jerk. Make sure Seth gets home alright,"
she called out without looking back in a slightly teasing manner.

What an insane day. Although she was uncomfortable for the majority of it, there were positive aspects of it. Some part of her MAY have enjoyed playing pretend, but if it existed, it was so far hidden in the dark depths of her mind and soul that it would never be found. A smile momentarily flickered on her face while she recalled the day's events, but she couldn't entirely admit that she wasn't inconvenienced for a lot of the time spent. The strangest part was the fact that she could still feel remnants of herself being flustered when recalling certain parts of the pretend scenario, a feeling she was not familiar with. She couldn't believe she was acting like such a...well...GIRL about it. Pushing the thoughts out of her head as best she could with a shake or two, she continued her walk home in the evening light.

One does not simply eat one packet of mee goreng
Pretty jerk? What kind of a nickname is that?

Well, whatever. Not that it matters to him anyway. However what was most intriguing was how she simply left him behind after doing her share of the job. He had thought that she'd at least make sure he'd do his part, fulfill his side of the deal. But no, looks like she had decided to trust him on whatever he's supposed to do.

Bad mistake, girl. He's not that kind of a person.

...Well... maybe. he probably would have said that, and done something that fits with his proclamation, if he was the V a year ago. All that talk about trusts back at the warehouse, and the belief he had instilled in Seth, kinda makes him feel like a hypocrite if he backs out of this. Believe me, that's saying something. If he was V from a year ago, he wouldn't have cared about being called a hypocrite or trusts or whatever.

Looks like something went wrong inside his natural killer's mind. Or right, whichever. Damn, he's so indecisive. The sense of minor hostility from before had disappeared, and he was keeping a no-longer-tense look on her retreating feminine figure, his fingers absent-mindedly fiddling with the buttons, using his memory and his sense of touch to delete everything he had caught earlier.

*press presspresspress press*

Dun!

Well, that's the end of it. With a small sigh he slipped the phone back into his pocket, turning around on his heel in order to make his way back to the dorm room-V!!!!! DID YOU NOT YOU REALIZE JUST WHAT YOU DID?!?!?!
For the first time in his life, he had finally felt what Seth would usually feel whenever V himself goes berserk inside his own head. Feeling as though the world was spinning he had grabbed his head just to keep it stable (with futility), directing his attention (with difficulty) towards the original owner of the body in his brain. "What the HELL do you think you're doing?!"

I'LL TELL YOU WHY!!! TAKE OUT THE PHONE!!!

Baffled, he simply did as he was told, slipping the cheap second-hand cellphone out of his pocket, flipping it on, and skimmed through whatever the phone had inside it's database, looking for whatever that had made... Seth... go nuts...?

What in the name of...

The pictures, videos, everything that was NOT supposed to be found in the phone after the deletion sequence, all of them were still there. While this might look like a simple mistake that anyone could have done, Seth was being too worked up over something like a mischosen option. Seriously, what is up with him? "If you're calming down now, maybe you could tell me just what the hell is going on in you head?"

I'LL TELL YOU WHAT'S GOING ON!!! He sounded distressed, depressed, and generally just like a madman. Good thing no one could actually SEE him act out like that. Else they might REALLY think of him as a madman. YOU JUST SENT THOSE FILES BY E-MAIL!!!

...Well fuck. That's too bad. Luckily Robyn's already so far away she wouldn't know anything about this. But still, it's just email. I mean, just what sort of friends that he have who could potentially ruin her life forever (not counting Oliver)?

I DON'T HAVE OLIVER'S EMAIL ADDRESS!!! That address... that... THAT WAS MY SISTER DAMMIT!!!

~~Somewhere not in Hyakuji~~

Lying on her thick and comfy bed with messed up sheet, holding up a comic above her head with the radio softly playing tomorrow's weather forecast, Emery Rouga was chewing on a stick of Pocky with a box of it lying besides her. The night had long since fallen and her parents were downstairs, enjoying the late night show while she procrastinated from doing her homework. Usually her brother would be the one who tells her to get her work done, but really, whoever listens to that no good brother anyway? Leaving the family alone just for some school filled with super-humans, he doesn't even have any powers himself. Things have gotten awfully quiet without him to boss around-

WHOLIVESINAPINEAPPLE-

"Mm...?" One of her hand reached out to her high-end iPhone 4 right above her head, noting the e-mail notification. But the very thing that really caught her attention was the address of the sender. Looking at the address itself was enough to boil her blood. Yet at the same time, she was stoked at what the contents could possibly be. "Baka... it's been so long..." She fumed, puckering her lips as she slid her thumbs across the touchscreen, opening up the e-mail application. Hm... Medias? What could it possibly-

...

......

.........

Something cracked inside her, almost as though her heart have been turned to glass and had been shattered to a million pieces as she skimmed through the pictures and videos that featured some floozy girl in a stupid princess cosplay costume thing and, and... if she's not mistaken, that...

"SEEEEEEEETTTHHHHH!!!!!!"

It was enough to blast off the windows off it's place, knock the door open in a single powerful swing, and was loud enough to wake up all the sleeping deaf old people within the range of a hundred meters from her. Seething with anger and flooded with fury, blazing flames of rage storming from her she rushed downstairs to meet with her parents, whom recoiled at the very sight of her demonic-like presence. She opened her mouth, and the voice that came out of it was akin to a thunderbolt.

"I'M ENROLLING IN HYAKUJI!!!"
