Hyakuji's waterfall was a small natural wonder, one that was awe inspiring with each sight. Hundreds of litres of water freefell over the edge in each passing second, carried there by the mighty seion river which carved its path into the woodland. The air was clear, and was in itself refreshing, but not so much compared to the water. Crystal clear, one could even see the fish as they swam through the area, and every little ripple made them swim in a different direction. And in the friendly chirping of the neighbourly birds, there sat Jonny Desmond in the grass, hard at work on something a little outside of the ordinary... "Let's see... the outer circle was like this... and that line crossed over this one..." He muttered as the chalk broke away bit by bit over the surface of the large rock, still wet from where he had fished it out of the water earlier. He sneezed, as his clothes were still drying from having fallen in during the attempt to remove the stone. If it weren't for his (thankfully large) boxers, he'd be completely naked as it were. Thank goodness he'd probably wouldn't encounter anyone here... probably. As he worked, his mind flashed back over previous events. The superspeed battle, the haunted house, the factory... He was at the centre of such incidents, and yet when it came to the deciding moment of who would win or lose, he either lost, or had to have his ass hauled out by someone else. And all those times, he had put his friends at risk. Speed wasn't too much of an issue. Most foes had beaten him not through speed, but through abilities that were, at least from his perspective, supernatural. And so he figured, that if he was to ever be able to truly help out, and protect, his friends - he needed supernatural power of his own. Thank god for Miss Yuki the substitute teacher then. He had originally drawn the summoning circle she showed at high speed, and thus it allowed him to retain the idea of its shape. He wasn't too sure whether or not the paper she used had been necessary, but he was fairly certain of what she said, even if it was gibberish to him. It was magic after all. ...BBBuuuuttt, just on the off chance that this did turn out to be incredibly foolish and he summoned up some creature from hell with enough power to break the seal, it would at least be away from the city. ...For all of five minutes, assuming he couldn't stop it. But, summoning guys like that was supposed to be really unlikely... right? |

As the magic circle grew closer to completion Jonny would feel the air in the forest begin to cool a little. Whether this was coincidence or some sign of his own coming success it was unknown, but given his current clothing situation it was a noticeable and sudden change. Nearby, on the other side of the Falls from Jonny's location Hiro Tsukasa was busy training in seclusion. Working in a patch where the forest was considerably thicker with greater tree coverage the mage teleported to a fro wielding Tyrfing practicing various slashes and strikes. A split second later he reappeared nearby and leaned back against one of the trees for support as he tried to catch his breath. Slowly, various branches began to fall from their trees having been cut clean by his sword play. To an onlooker it would have seemed impressive but Hiro knew this was far from the truth. It was something the majority of Hyakuji students did or worked at with ease; close combat. However, to Hiro Tsukasa it had always been a struggle. He was far better at fighting from a distance using magic. Over the past few years he had gone from totally inept to capable in fighting up close but he still had a long way to go. If he didn't sneak off on his own like this to practice there was no way he'd ever find a way to improve. He could buff his own abilities all he wanted with magic but there was still something to be said for practical training. All the power in the world meant nothing without the knowledge and experience to use it. "There is no knowledge that is not power, right?" Hiro mumbled to himself as he continued trying to catch his breath. However, he quickly drew into silence and turned glancing off in the direction towards Jonny's location. It was faint but he had sensed something. It was just a tinge of magical energy and it felt like something that would be worked up in a ritual. "Hm, guess I earned a break," Hiro commented softly as he made Tyrfing vanish and began to walk off in the direction he had sensed the energy coming from... |

By now Lynn had already forgotten that her stalkee of the day had only a few moments ago completely soaked himself to the bone. She COULD have gotten him a spare change of clothes (assuming he could fit into her spare jeans) but that wasn't all in all likely and more importantly she was distracted. Thankfully the power of a good book and working on a proper spell circle was far more attention grabbing than a nearly exposed firm, male butt. Thus was fate of such scholarly types and boys that loved them, but they all learned better eventually. "Ah, I think those runes over there look a little crooked!" Lynn exclaimed as she dipped her gaze from the reference book in her hand back to the circle. These sorts of spells required a LOT of precision and while sometimes a bit absent-minded she was nothing if precise. Conjuration was a very complex art and while on Lynn's list of things to learn, it was in a way the least necessary. Most of the things you could summon were like monsters, demons, hellspawn, legendary swords, hammers, stuff she really had no interest or use for! "Geeze, you really had to pick one this difficult..." Lynn flipped to the appendix to look up the meaning of a word she didn't recognize before flipping back to the picture. It looked okay but when summoning otherwordly beings into a seal you could never be too safe. The wrong configuration or a smeared line would be a weakness that an ornery biblical beasty would be more than happy to exploit and before you knew it everyone was monster chow! But hey, these were the risks of magic, something Lynn had made peace with a long time ago. And re-made when a horde of zombies had attempted to chew through her skullcap and re-re-made when a shadow being had attempted to swallow her soul or whatever it was shadow beings did. "I think we're almost done actually! You just need to write the rest of the seal on that side to close it and then we need a name, I think...If we don't put a specific being in it I think it's just random..." Random was okay too, it's not like she kept an encyclopedia of summoning creatures on her anyhow! Granted she kept an encyclopedia of just about everything else but this was a special case. |

A nice stroll in the forest during a rather nice day, Lucidus was really enjoying the forest around the new town it was quite interesting and open. Despite only being in the town for a short time he had quickly got accustomed to random walks in the forest, the chance that he would often run into something exciting happening was much larger then Lucidus actually thought it would be, almost every time he had walked out here he would either meet someone or something. As Lucidus continued wondering through the forest he felt a strange magical energy coming from the waterfalls, Lucidus was actually quite curious about the magical energies as it was something that he hadn't felt before when on his previous trips through the forests, it felt quite differently to the normal kinds of magic that Lucidus had felt before. He decided to go have a look at what was causing the magic so he started walking towards the area. As he arrived he saw a guy drawing what looked like a summoning circle, it had quite a large amount of similarities to the ones he had seen in his world. Probably just meant the rules of magic for summoning weren't that different between the two worlds. Lucidus was observing the construction of the circle, it was so far not a bad circle, assuming this guy was a beginner at drawing them. Lucidus also noted the girl holding the book, she seemed to be instructing him sort of. That bit was different from Lucidus's world, they threw you in made you draw the circle with no help and if you stuffed it up you were a demons breakfast or lunch or dinner. "Interesting magic there" Lucidus said as he made his presence known. "What are you planning on summoning?" There was always a chance that a small screw up could cause a massive demon of all things evil to be summoned that would promptly eat them all, but Lucidus was curious to see how well the boy did, also talking to something summoned from this world would be interesting, especially if it was a demon. Lucidus took a moment to wonder if the demons were as manipulative as they were on his world, a large number of mages had fallen prey to demons. This would be an interesting experience. |

He sneezed again as the wind stirred around him, involuntary reaction throwing off his aim, and resulting in a scrawl where there should have been the final edge of a symbol god knows how many centuries old. "Ah, I think those runes over there look a little crooked!" He groaned as his female companion pointed out the result of his mistake, and he silently thanked the fact the stone was still wet, allowing him to wipe away with ease. Lynn shared supernatural studies with him, and given the fact she had a floating walking stick, had been the logical choice for an assistant in his endeavour - or so he had thought anyway. "Geeze, you really had to pick one this difficult..." The magical girl chastised him for his choice in summoning spell, though in all honesty it wasn't like he had much in the way of options. "Its the only one I know, and the book store where people said I could find this sort of thing was closed." Or at least, it had been each time he went to visit it. It was entirely possible he was getting the wrong times... Again and again. As he fixed up the runes, and began to interconnect them, the blonde haired Mage walked over and made a closer inspection of his work. "I think we're almost done actually! You just need to write the rest of the seal on that side to close it and then we need a name, I think...If we don't put a specific being in it I think it's just random..." Jonny's face grew estatic as she gave her view, confirming that his memory wasn't completely screwed up when it came to this. He didn't mind it being random too much - he'd only met one demon previously, and it didn't seem like he'd be able to garner it's support for one reason or another, considering how things turned out. Though, it'd be rather funny if it did happen that way tho- "Interesting magic there" Someone said as they made their presence known, Jonny briefly turning his head to see who it was. Someone he didn't recognise, as it turned out. "What are you planning on summoning?" "A demon. Uh, not the evil kind hopefully. Or rather, the kind that won't instantly go 'kill all humans mode'." Jonny said as with one last swish, the seal was finished. And it seemed to be just like the one Miss Yuki had done, so, finger's crossed. "Here we go..." He muttered, rising to his feet, a little in front of the stone on which lay the seal. Lacking a piece of paper to focus on, and feeling he might just need a prayer or two, he clapped his hands together, water splashing slightly off them. His thoughts drifted back to the time of the summoning in the classroom, and the words that had been spoken by the teacher. They echoed in his head, and slowly but surely, as water dripped down his body, they escaped through his lips. The summoning had begun... |

As Jonny began to recite the words the spell circle began to glow a bright red color. Bolts of magical energy crackled along select lines of the circle's symbols and upon finishing the chant a blast of bright light shot forth from the spell circle itself. As their vision slowly returned they would be surprised to see a demon floating before them within the circle.![]() Slowly, the demon crossed it arms and looked from one person to another until he had thoroughly examined all three. Parting its mouth it began to speak in a deep, human yet slightly monstrous voice addressing his summoners, "I am Pazuzu of the Maou Clan. For what reason have you summoned me?" For whatever reason, it had offered only the most minimal information about itself; its name and the Demon Clan it hailed from. Elsewhere, Hiro was about halfway towards the source he had sensed when he paused in his tracks; eyes widening in shock. There had been a quick surge of energy and suddenly he could sense a very defined source of power: it was a demon. And not just any demon, a very powerful one. What was going on? "This could be bad," he mumbled to himself as he began to increase his pace trying to rush towards where he sensed the demonic presence as fast as possible. The Middleman (stubborn, yet relaxed)
|
"Hmmm?" The sudden spike of a familiar, yet demonic energy snapped a half-sleeping Shad from his makeshift hammock. The attempt to get out of said-hammock resulted in a rather painful 13 feet dropping faceplant, in which he didn't even have time to scream. In his attempt to build more mana, since there was no instructor in the ways of magic that he could find on campus, he decided a brief outing in the woods would be useful. Spitting out some soil (but keeping some of the bugs for a brief test), Shad yawned briefly, wondering who the heck summoned that kind of demon. Not that there was anything wrong with summoning demons back in his village, but there was always some form of catch regarding their services, like a soul. 'I wonder if it's a succubus...I haven't seen one of those in a while.' He thought, recalling the perky red-skinned females with spiked tails from a book he read a few months back. Even in a magical tome, he was partically attracted to them but snapped out of it quickly for his own sake. "Nah. They prefer enclosed structures." He corrected his line of thinking, since those types of demons would never allow themselves to be summoned in a park. Not to mention the grass wasn't turning brown, the trees weren't losing leaves and the sky itself wasn't turning red with omnious thundering clouds. Either way, Shad may as well find out what all the hubbub was about. Getting to his feet, Shad sprinted towards the source of the bright light even as it died down, hoping he would get there in time. There was a question on his mind that only a demon could answer, one that may help with a certain problem the school has currently. 'I have to make it on time, or I won't get another chance for quite a while.' He thought, fighting against the pain in his poorly built legs as he ran through and past nearby trees. Lynn didn't bother looking up from her book as another voice swished through the trees, inquiring as to their going's on. She wasn't all that annoyed by it per-say, but it was pretty obvious to anyone what they were doing, hadn't he ever seen a proper summoning circle before or was he born under a non-magical rock? Actually that was really incredibly likely since probably 99% of the human population was born into perfectly non-magical families but that was not the point! This summoning circle had taken a long time to perfect so a little respect was in order! "It's not just any summoning circle! This is from the Lesser Key of Solomon, from the Goetic chapter of the Lemegeton and it's really freakin' difficult to do!" She shouted proudly. Though from the looks of it she wasn't really doing it so much as dictating it. Still, anyone would be proud to complete such a project. Lynn narrowed her eyes seriously as Jonny pronounced the spell prepped and ready for execution. For some reason, Lynn felt like they were forgetting something, but it was hard to remember now with that sudden interruption breaking off her train of that. Still, everything looked like it was supposed to and he appeared to be conducting the rites the way he was supposed to (at least as far as she could discern from the text, this crap wasn't exactly in English). Lynn could feel the electricity in the air, almost as if gravity was getting lighter and the air was getting thinner around them. Soon an abominable creature would appear and no doubt threaten their very lives! Lynn could barely contain her excitement for seeing this sort of magic in action. The circle seemed to spark with life as light traced the lines, shapes and runes present in the circle, forming the luminescent seal. This was the kind of thing early Christian and Kabbalah magicians used to do all the time and now here they were years later using the same techniques. It was all so exciting! All at once the circle erupted with light, causing Lynn to hold up the book in a knee-jerk reaction as a guard for her precious blue eyes. Was that supposed to happen? Maybe that meant they got a big one! Like when you're fishing and feel a really big tug on your line! The light seemed to die down after a few moments and though her eyes still swam with eye-worms she blinked several times and lowered the book to get a look at their new patron demon. The beast was...certainly a bit intimidating to behold, but hardly a threat stuck in a seal like that. It seemed to take stock of each of them as if determining which had actually had the balls necessary to summon him which is why she felt like it had probably looked at her the longest. "...Pazuzu?" Lynn murmured under her breath. Was he being for real? That was probably the silliest name she'd ever heard in her life. She wouldn't name her cat Pazuzu! "Well, Mr. Pazuzu, we were attempting a little bit of summoning magic and it looks like we succeeded! Just a bit of practice really, I'm impressed we got such a cool looking beast-y!" Lynn realized then she should probably look him up. Did this book even have a bestiary? Flipping to the front of the book she searched for the table of contents but came up empty. Just more ramblings in languages she couldn't read. Well, how bad could one lion-headed God be REALLY? |

Lucidus continued watching the summoning more or less ignoring the rant of the girl there, he always felt like all the theory was boring and the pratical application was always the better part of magic. He always loved summoning creatures from beyond his own world just to see how they reacted and how many would try to kill or maim or eat or possess him. As the ritual began Lucidus watched while light continued tracing the shape of the circle as well as the various runes and lines in it, that formed the seal completely. When the circle erupted in light Lucidus turned a bit so that the light wasn't completely in his eyes. He had gotten used to bright light due to repeated use of his flash arrow, but sometimes it still managed to cause him to shield his eyes due to the light. Quite a strange demon appeared in the circle, it was a demon that Lucidus had not seen before so it peaked his curiosty. He looked over the demon to try and analyze it, to see what kind of demon it was and possibly how it behaved. He did give out little information about himself and for a demon that was unusually suprising, Lucidus did however find his name more suprising. It was most unusualy a large amount of the demons he had met had always been really friendly. Granted that was due to the fact that they were trying to possess him, so Lucidus thought he might as well wait and see to find out what he could about the demons that could be summoned in this world. Lucidus watched on in silence as the demon asked who had summoned it, while watching Lucidus wondered why Jonny had indeed summoned it. Most people did it for the obvious things such as wealth, fame, glory, power. Lucidus was stuck trying to figure out which one that Jonny was going to ask but then he stopped, he would find out soon enough. |

Jonny continued to speak, even as the seal in front of him began to spark with energy. He took it as a sign that he'd actually managed to do it right, if anything. And given the way Lynn had just put (and outright said) it, it seemed to be quite the accomplishment on his part. His words grew faster paced, and more powerful, before he capped it by yelling out the final word as loudly - and triumphantly - as he could. Hey, it was good to be dramatic in a demon summoning, he figured. It was certainly well timed, as upon uttering the final part of the spell, a great pillar of light shot up from the circle, and he was all but forced to cover his eyes, so as not to be blinded. As the light died down, he began to make out the shape of whatever he had summoned, before ultimately the demon was entirely revealed. Despite how, well, minimal it's appearance was in terms of features, it was still an impressive sight to behold. Even standing here, beyond the protective veil of the seal, he could tell that this was the sort of being one did not trifle with. "I am Pazuzu of the Maou Clan. For what reason have you summoned me?" It spoke, it's voice calm and collected, but yet with a tone that was, quite frankly, disturbing. He gulped at the prospect of making a deal with this thing, before remembering the old proverb of keeping a stiff upper lip. As a brit, and in front of what was - if he had his translation correct - nothing short of a demon lord, that would be a good idea now more than ever. "Well, Mr. Pazuzu, we were attempting a little bit of summoning magic and it looks like we succeeded! Just a bit of practice really, I'm impressed we got such a cool looking beast-y!" Lynn was not helping things off to a good start. "I assure you though, at this point, it would seem practice is not necessary." He said, stepping forward, trying to maintain a confident appearance despite being stripped down to nought but a pair of boxers. At least he was wearing more than the demon in front of him. "I am the one who summoned you. My name is Jonathan, of the clan Desmond." He said, trying to make sure he used terminology similar to the being. "I have called upon you in the hopes that I may obtain... your help." He stared up at the entity, trying to make eye contact. "Lord Pazuzu, I have faced a number of beings in the time I have come to this place, known as Hyakuji. Each one has been powerful, and threatened not only the life of myself, but the lives of those who I care for and hold dear. I am fast, but I have not the strength to face these foes without risking the loss of those around me. I seek, and would wish to obtain from you, such a strength." He spoke honestly, seeing that beating around the bush with such a being might prove fruitless. |

"Well", Pazuzu answered as he glanced to Lynn and then back to the boy who had addressed him, "It's enjoyable to see at least one of you has proper manners. As a personal favor for that I won't devour your young lady friend for her insolence." Slowly, a breeze began to blow through the area growing more and more intense not only in its severity but the very chill in the air. "Jonathan Desmond," Pazuzu continued setting his gaze slowly on his summoner, "You would seek power from me? Power to protect those you care about? As you are now... you are far too weak to command one such as myself; of the Maou Clan. However, your respect has not gone unnoticed." The chill wind grew even more intense almost as if the group had been plunged back into the depths of winter once more and then all at once it stopped. The silence without the howling of the supernatural wind was almost unsettling. "Answer me, Jonathan Desmond," Pazuzu concluded, "What are your feelings about Justice?" |

The Middleman (stubborn, yet relaxed)

"Seriously...this weather makes no sense at all to me. One day it's raining, the next is a snow storm." Shad muttered to himself, flopping about in his run, trying not to lose his shoes in the snow. What kind of summoner does this sort of thing in the winter time? No matter, the situation takes priority even over frostbite. Shad checked both hands just in case for any black marks, sighed a bit of relief and continued to trudge forward through the snow. 'I hope that I'm not stepping in some animal's home.' He thought, slightly grossed out by the image in his head, but even that stopped as the air went silent. No animal cries, no wind blowing and definitely no freezing chill that irriated his sensitive nostrils. This in turn made it easier to find the summoning spot, where quite a few people had gathered close to the summoner. And....'Master Pazuzu? Hmm....not exactly Lady Avaritia, but he'll do.' Shad thought, his mind completely focused on the mission at hand. Nothing else mattered, as long as everyone was happy in the end. True, he noted Lucidus nearby upon his approach, but decided revenge could wait until after Master Pazuzu left the mortal plane. Otherwise Master Pazuzu would get quite upset, a fate worse than death itself. "Greetings and Salutations, Master Pazuzu." Shad prostrated with a stiff bow with one arm crossing his chest and eyes facing downwards. In his village, Pazuzu was a grand demon whom everyone respected and revered, and thus required at least a bow to show courtesy. "Don't mind me. I mistook your energy signature as a different demon whom I know. Will you be staying long?" He asked in a neutral tone, hoping that Pazuzu was in a good mood to grant a extra wish. |

"W-well there's no need to be morbid about but....t-thanks?" Lynn stammered out, swallowing hard as she suddenly felt a slight chill in the air. It followed that demons WOULD be a bit rough around the edges being creatures of pure evil and whatever but he had to be all extra serious about it. If he weren't totally sealed in that thing she might actually be frightened. Folding her arms indignantly she instead considered sticking her tongue out at home but somehow tempting fate THAT hard made her a little nervous. Still, that Jonny seemed to be getting what he wanted out of it, but Lynn couldn't admit to approving making contracts with dark forces in the seeking of power. Evidently he had more faith in her abilities than she did which was sorta depressing. Her brows furrowed suddenly as someone else stumbled upon the scene, apparently completely ignoring their presence in the face of this massive, nude cat demon. Whom he apparently seemed to know? Well it's always embarrassing when someone can pop out of nowhere somehow boasting more knowledge on demonology than someone who used to get pop quizzes on them from her parents. "Hey, you might not want to get to close to that circle, kid!" She warned politely. "That's not exactly a petting zoo cat!" Of course he barely seemed to pay attention instead talking to it like they were long lost buddies or something. At least had respect for the impressiveness of who they'd summoned, he was trying to small talk with it like they were neighbors. "Well, at least I won't be the one being eaten first..." She murmured, closing the book in her hands and shrugging in resignation. While they did that, Lynn took to re-examining the circle seal which seemed to be holding fairly well at the moment. Wait, was that part right? She flipped back to the bookmarked page, comparing it for a moment before closing it again. Yeah, that was fine, but what about that other part...Yep, that was good too, good lines. And so on as she circled around great Pazuzu, looking at each rune to make sure he wasn't getting out anytime soon. |

Shivering a small bit as the cold wind passed through Lucidus continued watching the exchange in words between Jonny and Pazuzu. It seemed like Jonny had recently had some bad luck in protecting his friends so he did the age old idea of getting a demon to help him. Not exactly Lucidus's number one idea on how to get power, but if this guy wanted to try it this way it wasn't Lucidus's place to deny him the chance. After all most demons had tons and tons of free power but it came with a catch a lot of the times, and the catch's were almost never good. Granted though some demons were nice enough to give something free of any catch's to someone who had proved themselves to them. After a few more brief moments Lucidus noticed that strange kid that had attacked him while he was just walking up the mountainside appear. He completely disregarded any kinds of manners and just waltzed up to the demon and started chatting with him. As the magician girl warned him away from the circle Lucidus just sighed, he really could not care if the demon ate that guy. It would be his fault for interrupting someone else's summon. "Hey, Don't think like that." A voice in his conscience interrupted his chain of thought, it was Fenrus. This was the annoying thing about having a spirit in your head. "Sorry Fenrus." Lucidus replied in thought. Continuing to watch Lucidus looked curious when Pazuzu asked Jonny what his ideal of justice was, most of the demons would ask questions like that. It was to try and find out the character of the one that they were dealing with, at least thats how it worked in Lucidus's experience. If they liked you, sometimes you would get something or you would get advice. If they didn't like your ideals, they tried to eat you at least they did in Lucidus's experience. He watched as the magician girl walked around the circle checking if everything was correct. "Just a quick question, Shouldn't you have checked everything was alright before starting the summoning?" If something was wrong with the circle then this would get interesting very quickly. |

Jonny gulped at the implication that had he not the proper manners, then Lynn would have been literally eaten up by the demon lord. It was a small reminder of the forces with which he was attempting to bargain, which probably did not tend to hold life - especially that of mortal beings - as anything sacred. His teeth chattered slightly at the increasing chill of the wind, accompanied by Pazuzu informing him that as he was now, commanding the demon itself was impossible. It was a natural response he supposed - first time using magic. His hopes were raised however when the demon said that the boy's 'respect' hadn't gone unnoticed. Though it seems someone failed to notice when to show respect. He didn't know who the new arrival was, but Jonny began to worry that if they didn't stop, then Pazuzu might just shift that threat of devouring. After Pazuzu asked his question on Jonny's feeling about Justice, Jonny took the opportunity to clasp his hands together, as if in prayer. "Allow me to apologise first, Lord Pazuzu. I had not envisioned that anyone but the young mistress and myself would be present at your summoning. My intent was that this was to be done in a remote location, in the event that I summoned a creature that had less inhibitions and would attempt to bring mayhem and destruction. I consider myself thankful that it is one such as you that I called upon. Please, do not heed any insolence that may arise, as they may not realise what they do." He then began to actually consider the demon's question, thinking of various answers he could give. Justice was itself a complex term, and often its definition varied from person to person. But Pazuzu wasn't asking what he thought Justice itself was, but rather his feelings on it. Now what did that mean? Was it a question on how Justice was to be used? When is something Justice and when it wasn't? Whether he considered himself to be on the side of Justice? Or maybe Pazuzu actually was asking the 'what is it' question, and had simply reworded it? "My feelings on Justice..." He didn't avert his gaze from the demon, his answer slowly coming to him. "I feel that Justice is something that has made society what it is today. Because of this concept, we see certain things as being unjust, and strive to punish those who do unjust things. That, at the most basic level, is Justice... I suppose. But it's complicated too. Each person sees Justice differently. Some feel it's to punish any and all sin. Others would say that it's to gain retribution for when someone has wronged you." He shuffled slightly, as he was unsure whether or not he should really say this in front of strangers. "But that's not how I feel. Justice is a set of morals and ideals. It is Justice to punish someone for some grave atrocity, but not when they've made a simple mistake or told a little white lie. Justice has to stand above the criminals, and judge them, but not take an action that is itself unjust. If one does, then it's not Justice at all. It's just evil that's hiding behind a title. That, is how I feel about Justice." |
