Black smoldering cinders dropped to the ground near her feet, smoking slightly after the searing heat from Freda's ability singed the paper airplane to small pieces of film-thin carbons. Yet she was far from triumphant. Whatever expression she had on her face before evolved to the look of fear and worrisome, as the bespectacled aeromancer showed his fangs. She cringed as the two took the full blast of the attack, one of them hits the floor skullfirst. Supposedly that should have knocked him out, but he stood up like it was nothing. Maybe stubbornness is directly proportional to thick hard skulls. Useful in this case, she supposed. "Hey, didn't I tell you to stay out of this?!" She yelled at him. Quite inappropriate, really, because she should have asked first whether he's okay or not. She face-palmed herself, contemplating on just how complicated the situation had gotten. She expected this to be a simple operation, really. Catch the culprit red-handed, but look what happened! Now two civilians were dragged into this mess- HEY! Now that's really just stupid, running head-on to a raging aeromancer, without any plan whatsoever. Her fear was realized as the aeromancer began to make his move. The wind kicked up violently as Ty rushed up to him. This is bad. Getting into high gear she darted forward. Fires erupted in her left hand as she quickly covered the distance and skidded to a halt between the two. She raised her right hand, grabbed Ty by his collar and shoved him down to the ground. "DOWN!" At the same moment she raised her left hand, and all at once a massive blast of red and yellow inferno big enough to engulf a double-decker bus spewed forth with a deafening roar, aimed directly at the bespectacled aeromancer. However, instead of reaching him, the flames were somehow diverted off, like there's a giant invisible wall of air or something. It lasted for a few moments before the flames died off with a flicker, leaving nothing but sparks and giant burn marks on the streets. She gave a huff as the heat began to dissipate away. Yet the wind rages on, with little to zero intention on stopping. Quite unexpected, and troubling, really. She never thought a detective's job would be this hard. Right... "Well, now that it has come to this... hey!" She barked at Ty, and maybe Spike can join in if he wants. "I dunno what you did earlier, but think you could do it again?" |

Ty felt his collar get tight around his neck. He didn't realize he was being pulled away until his punch fell short. "Bwuh?" "DOWN!" Ty did as the demanding woman commanded and fell to the ground almost limply. He felt his aviators bend, warp, crack and scratch under his head. He cringed and his insides squirmed. Ty shouted and scrambled away as fire roared from Freda's hand. He turned around ten feet away only to see that the aeromancer was unharmed and the ground around him was scorched. Ty stood up, shaken. Freda asked him a question and he looked over at the terramancer a few feet away from him. "That's what I've been trying to do, lady!" he said. "Just, ya know, touching someone is hard when they can form freaking windstorms around them that just push me away!" While he spoke, he rooted around inside his hoodie and retrieved another pair of aviators and put them on. He turned to Freda. "If you can get him to stop doing that wind stuff, he's done for. For a wh--hey, where'd your boyfriend go?" |

When the cry of DOWN went out Spike went to the side and threw himself back to the ground, conveniently near where Freda and Ty had gone down. Spike nodded along. So if they got Ty to touch the guy then they won. Well, if he had that good of a trick... Seemed easy enough. He wished someone had mentioned that sooner. They'd have already won if there'd been a win condition like that from the start. "Don't be so pathetic!" He nodded to the two, "I'll handle the wind. You get 'im." Spike moved into a hunched position and ran, straight forward. Except it wasn't quite at the wind guy. He'd miss him by more than a yard. However right when he got into the right range Spike kicked off the ground swinging his leg around full force to kick the guy in the face. At least that was Spike's image of the plan. His intent was to draw the focus of the attack. |

"My 'boyfriend' is off chasing the real culprit behind all this..." She said, particularly annoyed that spiky here just dashed in ahead without any planning or thinking whatsoever. Well, she didn't know if he had actually thought of anything or not, but it sure looked like an empty suicidal rush. Argh. They had a deal, so she'd just have to improvise! The aeromancer had his sights set at the obstacles, one of them running off towards him, or at least... to his side. He ignored him. He does not pose much of a threat to him. So he'd deal with him later- Not. All of a sudden the massive sphere of whirlwind surrounding the aeromancer changed directions. Instead of going round and round the aeromancer, it was redirected so that the massive volume of air was compressed and directed at high speed right at Spike's torso, intending to literally blow him right down the street- FWOOOM!!! Having focused everything he had into this single attack, he had sacrificed his entire defensive materials, giving chance for Freda to perform her own bout of counterattack, which, if she did it fast enough, should be able to even stop him before Spike gets himself blown across the city. She kept her eyes on the aeromancer, and her eyes suddenly turns flaming red. Suddenly the aeromancer's tie caught flames, forcing him to lose his concentration out of surprise and drop his attack on Spike. He turned to Freda who was busy playing with a ribbon of flame with a grin etched on her face. "You might want to look behind you?" He didn't listen to her, which resulted in a kick to his face, throwing him backwards. |

As soon as the aeromancer went down, Ty pounced. Ty bounded across the space between him and the aeromancer and stomped on the aeromancer's chest. Ty thought he heard bone crack. "Filth," he said. He electrocuted the aeromancer in the most painful, least humane way he could think of. and put the sound of electricity in the aeromancer's ears. But to Spike and Freda, it would just look like Ty was standing there for an awkwardly long time and enjoying his conquest. Which, really, he sort of was. After a few seconds and satisfied that the aeromancer had felt the full extent of his wrath, Ty turned to look at Freda. "What 'real culprit'?" Ty asked, cutting straight to the point. |

Damn it... He was slammed back by the wind and sent flying. He was disappointed his attack had failed for a moment, but then he remembered that that had been his plan... So it had been a complete success. Spike grinned. Of course he had succeeded. The push stopped, and he glanced back, just as he slammed back to the ground. The landing was... poor at best. "Ta... ta... ta..." He started back to the jerk with the wind, but it looked like he'd already been taken down, "Just as planned." He gave a thumbs up to Freda and Ty, as he got back to them. They might not believe it, but that was more or less as he'd planned it. |

"Quite," She replied simply to Spike's comment on the successful 'plan'. That didn't took very long, but it sure as hell wasn't worth the effort. Freda turned her attention to the two lying unconscious on the ground, before turning to Ty. She wasn't sure if she wanted to get these two involved any further than they had. The showdown from earlier was already quite dangerous. However she felt like she kinda owes them a little for helping out, since she was quite sure there was no way for her to stop them without some serious collateral damage and casualties. Alright... just a little bit. "Well, since you asked, and I suppose I kinda owe you two a bit," She said, scratching her head and placed a hand on her hip. "Right. If you've seen the news, there's been a lot of cases lately about people rampaging about for no plausible reason at all. Or rather, they couldn't give any because they never knew they did anything of the sort. Just to cut the story short, we suspected it to be the work of a hypnotist who can control the state of mind of a person. Like, putting them in a trance or something of the sort. And we kinda got the culpritooooshit," What a spectacular face-palm. Whoops. She kinda forgot all about the 'real' culprit. That kid went on chasing him all by himself. She was still kinda skeptical on what that kid can really do. And she couldn't help but worry- BOOOM!!! Awh hell no. There was a dull explosion coming from the deeper part of the town, followed by a plume of black smoke that trailed to the sky. That alone was enough for her to tell that whatever Seth was up to, it wasn't going well. Without any word she began making her way over there as quickly as possible, but stopped after a few steps. She turned around to the two and said, "You two wouldn't mind helping me out now, would you?" As far as she knew whatever Ty can do, it could be useful. And as for spiky here... uh. |

Ty turned his head slowly to Spike. Behind his glasses, he was giving Spike an incredulous look. The guy hadn't done anything other run head first into everything dangerous and had to be saved. "It sure was, meat shield!" Ty said mockingly. He turned back to Freda, someone actually important because she had powers. As he listened to her, he began feeling bad about cracking one in the head and fracturing the other's sternum. His guilt quickly subsided when he heard an explosion from deep in town. His head snapped to the direction of the explosion and he adopted an annoyed, grim expression. This was supposed to be a relaxing afternoon stroll; not some action-filled afternoon akin to a Bruce Willis movie. Ty sighed and followed Freda when she asked if he and Spike wanted to go with her. "Might as well; my afternoon's already been ruined," he said. |

They really were acting like he was full of shit. Like he hadn't drawn the enemy fire so they'd had a chance to strike... Spike gritted his teeth. Who did these two think they were? The boy's smart ass comment, and the girl more or less ignoring him... But, he didn't really get too far into being angry at them because- BOOOM!!! Spike nodded to Freda. There was no need to do anything else. He didn't really know what was going on but something had exploded and that sort of thing needed to be handled, didn't it? |

"Hmph," She gave them a small grin of approval, though I'm not sure if approval is the right word to choose since she's the one who asked them to help... "UUUAAAHHH!!!!" The sound of something slicing through metal could be heard through the whole street. The lamppost next to him suddenly starts to tip towards him. "Oooh no," He jumped back fast, narrowly missing the falling lamppost that crashed down to the ground right in front of him. He stared at the fallen lamppost in shock and awe, trailing the whole body of it down to the cause of its downfall. A clean diagonal cut through the four inches wide metal pole. Aaahahaha... wow, who would have thought that he'd be able to cut through stuff just by using sounds too... V voiced his anxiety. "Say, we're gonna get in trouble right?" He said, his body shaking slightly. Uh, we're already in it. "That's... troublesome," SHHIIIIINNKK!!! "UUAAHH!!!" He was given no time to relax as yet another attack came right towards him. Well, really, it missed by a meter, so instead of a huge bloody gash being formed on him, the part of the road one meter from him suddenly erupted, as though a giant blade had been smashed powerfully on the ground. "Awwhhhhh....." He coiled back, the look of extreme nervousness was permanently etched on his face as he eyed the damage done by the real culprit. Looking around the entire street itself was a mess. Besides the one that was just made, there's over a dozen more similar gashes strewn all over the place. Maybe even more. Cars with their bonnets cleaved in half, lamppost cut down, giant incisions on the ground and the shops around them, it was like some random invisible ghost swordsman had rampaged this place, and is still rampaging now. Quite luckily there was no one around, as everyone had already evacuated the area when the very first unmanned bike was sliced in half. Seth clenched his teeth, turning around to face the criminal in question. At the other end of the street was a man, his violin on his shoulder, the bow in his other hand and on the violin. A menacing look on his face, add a little bit of frustration and confusion, you get an angry violinist wreaking havoc in a city. There was something strange about this boy. He had tried, tried, and tried, but for some reason there was absolutely no way for him to control the kid. No, there is a way, but it's not working. Worse, this kid is on to him like death is to a terminal disease. There was no way to shake him off whatsoever. Wherever he hides, he's always there, it's so frustrating! In a bout of irritation he gripped the bow tightly, sliding it rapidly front and back on the strings, unleashing a flurry of razor sharp invisible force straight towards the boy, fully intending to shred him to hundreds and thousands of paper-thin pieces! |

Ty followed Freda with an indignant huff. He didn't say anything on the journey to the source of the explosion, but he mood only worsened as the run went on ((I can only assume they would be running.)) because he started sweating. Not only did his aviators keep sliding down his nose, but it was making his hair fall too and he wasn't about to waste his powers on looking good, even though it was highly tempting. Ty heard something earthen being blown up and ripped to pieces. A few minutes ago he would have wondered what could have been causing all this, but his encounter with the aeromancer and the terramancer and Little Miss Pyromancer had made it pretty obvious who it was. Underneath all the destruction, almost in time with it, Ty heard a violin. He remembered the violinist from earlier and the violinist's beautiful melody. Ty thought he heard the same tone on this new violin as he did on the other one, but he couldn't be sure with all the exploding asphalt. When something flew in front of the trio and blew up more asphalt, Ty stopped running and took an instinctive step back. With a shimmer, he disappeared again. He rested his hands on his knees and took a brief moment to get some of his breath back. I really need to work out or something..., he thought. He straightened, still breathing heavily quite a bit, and poked his head around the corner of the building they were beside. Ty noted with a grim expression that it was indeed the same violinist; which meant that violin was in danger of being destroyed by all this. Ty couldn't help but feel a pang of sadness for the instrument. Ty slipped out on the sidewalk, hugging the side of the building. It didn't seem that he would be much safer there anyway since there was a large portion of one of the storefronts missing. But it was still safer than being out in the middle of the street where most of the sonic waves were going. Ty was cavalierly walking toward the violinist. Had he been visible, he'd be plain as day. But he wasn't. So all is well in TyWorld. Right up until the violinist began playing something with a really high tempo. There were more explosions behind Ty, but Ty didn't look back. With a yell, he leaped through a broken window of a store and crouched beneath it to put a wall between himself and the violinist. Then he thought. He stood up. Given what he had already seen, a brick wall was meager and worthless to protect him. And from the looks of things, the majority of the whatevers were aimed back down the street. Ty quickly closed the distance between himself and the violinist. He made a point to walk slower and not jingle as much as he got closer. With a grin, Ty plucked the bow from the violinist's hand and whacked the violinist hard on the head with it. Should the violinist turn around, he wo--Wild FLOATING VIOLIN BOW appeared! |

Razor sharp cuts scarred the city. The Violinist was engaged in battle. Spike watched the fight, but he wasn't really sure if he should be leaping into this. It wasn't really his fight, even if it did have a lot of collateral damage. After all a one on one fight was something that should be respected. But he got over this notion when something crashed in front of him and a lamppost fell at him. He brought up his arms as fast as he could, his coat falling from his shoulders, revealing his bokken. The lamppost cracked his casts as it hit then rolled forward falling into the sidewalk. As the plaster crumbled around his arms Spike slammed his fists together destroying both casts. Of course he was mostly recovered. The bandages and plaster fell to the ground by his feet. Cracking his knuckles he reached down and lifted his weapon from the midst of his coat. Ty was rushing in anyways so the one-on-one didn't exist. If it was like that then on course Spike would rush right in. Like he wasn't going to do that anyways. "HYAA!" Spike dashed at the violinist who could easily cut him in half. Not that he intended to let that sort of thing happen. He was always confident. He refused to accept it was so much as a possible outcome. His weapon swung wildly in front of him. There was no reason for him to falter. |

"What the-HAY!!" He yelled out in surprise as someone, some spiky haired dude rushed past him straight towards the violinist in a mad blind rush, a wooden sword held tightly in his hand like, well... a sword. What was that guy thinking, does he want to get himself killed? "Hey, wait!" He started forward, intending to stop him before he became, literally, mince meat. However his progress was interrupted by something suddenly jerking his knees forward, causing him to topple backward with a gasp. His head struck the road HARD, the jagged tar surface of the road made the results even less desirable. However that was nothing compared to what would have happened if he didn't fall backwards. From his position he could see a flurry of air disturbance ripping the atmosphere right above him, just a few feet from his face, followed by a series of loud rocky ripping noise right behind him. He pushed himself up, clutching his throbbing head and saw Freda crouching right next to him, facing the violinist with her cheeks puffed up. For a few moments she looked ridiculous with that serious expression in her eyes, but soon enough it was proven that she was attempting to do something far more dangerous and devastating than simply making faces, as a massive burst of red hot flames suddenly burst forth from her mouth aimed right at the violinist, more like a giant monstrous dragon spewing forth infernos from its mouth than anything else. Just... scaled down, is all. Now, they were SUPPOSED to take him alive, but it was clear that the violinist was capable of some deadly moves of his own, it would be stupid NOT to go all out on him. And he was thinking along the same line. He didn't couldn't see Ty running up to him. Granted, Ty was invisible, but that did not change the fact that he never knew he was being approached stealthily. However the gigantic plume of fire and the bokken dude was in clear, plain sight. The spiky haired bokken dude would be easy to take care off, but the giant flame breath was a whole damn lot more troublesome. And a two-pronged (three, really) attack was kinda putting him at a corner. KINDA. He placed the bow on the strings, then in fifty repeated rapid movement he stroked the strings using the bow's full length, generating a series of high pitched notes that spreads from him in a spherical manner. The fire breath generated by Freda raged towards him at full strength, but immediately dissipated the moment it reached within three meters from him. But that's not all. Anyone caught unaware, invisible or not, would be assaulted by a powerful migraine as the unpleasant like-nails-scraping-on-a-blackboard sounds hammers their eardrums like, like... Well, it was an extremely painful sound, and none that hears it would be able to even stand up. |

Just as Ty reached for the bow, the violinist pulled its entire length across the violin. Ty had a brief moment to try and get the bow again before he was hit with an incredible migraine and unpleasant sound. He clenched his head and felt his invisibility and knees begin to fail. Spontaneously, Ty made himself deaf. It stopped the sound and the migraine for the most part, but Ty still had an enormous headache that he would likely still have come class time tomorrow. Ty noticed with relief that the GIANT FIRE BREATH ARGH died before it could reach the violinist and, consequently, himself. Ty had had it with the violinist. The guy was taking music and turning it into a vile, repulsive thing. Ty focused on the the violinist, his hands in particular. After a few seconds, Ty placed his hand on the violinist's back. The violinist would see his fingers fracturing and being twisted in several different highly unnatural directions and feel the pain and sickening sounds coming from it while losing any perception of his real hands. The concentration from using Malign Extroversion, Aural Confusion, and a second Physical Foolery at the same time, even should the effect fail in general, was far too much. Ty's hold on his own invisibility shattered, much to his discontent. Ty should have moved away at that point, but his mind was sluggish after such usage of his powers. |

He charged, not yielding to the violinist. SPIKE YELLED! The pain struck through his head as he got near enough to atually do something. It was more than he had been ready for. Getting cut or bludgeoned or even shot. Well those were things he'd been through. He could see those kinds of things coming. Sudden extreme head pain was something different though. The sound brought him to his knees, but not before his bokken went flying though the air at the violinist. Spike was the kind of guy who would always attack his enemy when he went down. The pain was horrendous but... "AHH!!!!" He still yelled as loud as he could. As if by yelling loud enough he could overcome the violin. Of course in a battle of sound perhaps a loud yell was an appropriate weapon, but in all likelihood it would fail to surpass the violin. |
