Ah, hesitation, hesitation... not answering a question that seemed so important, meaning that this girl felt the need to keep whatever it was that she wanted to keep from going public from going public. And it didn't help her case much when the girl glances at the floor. Emery easily notices the hooded boy standing outside, smiled a little bit and said, "Well, it's okay if you don't want to tell. Doesn't really matter much anyway," She said, pulling up her other sleeve. "Now, hold still," She proceeded to take Mitsuko's arm, not really bothering to do it with a bit more care despite seeing how delicate her arm looked like. "This ain't gonna take long. Might sting a bit, but hold it in," She gave her no chance to react as she placed one hand over the broken part of her elbow. She closed her eyes, letting the surrounding take hold of her. Her body is not her body. Her mind is not her mind. Her spine tingled slightly as she flipped open a switch in her brain that flooded her entire figure with a massive amount of energy. But she can't use all of them. She doesn't have to. It's just a normal bone-mending procedure, not some curse-lifting procedure or bring-something-back-to-life procedure. She only needed a small amount, just enough to accelerate the mending from a few months or years to a few seconds. If she have enough energy to shorten the span of a few months or years to a few seconds, one could imagine just how much energy she'd putting to her hand that was on Mitsuko's elbow right now. Her mouth moved rapidly, chanting some undecipherable languages that seemed to cause her hands to glow in a bright blueish color. As it began to pulsate slightly, Mitsuko would feel some hard prickling feeling in her elbow, like hundreds of needles piercing her from the inside. Even if she might pull back, Miss Emery wouldn't let her, as she was gripping hard on her hand, not letting her move an inch. And then, it stopped. The glowing dimmed, the prickling feeling would cease to be felt, and she should be able to swing her arms around as though nothing that could have broken it have ever happened before. Miss Emery let go of her hand, wiping a sweat that had formed on her brow and said, "Phew! Welp, that's that. Unless you have anything else I can mend, just fire away!" |

Mitsuko was a little bit hesitant when the nurse rolled up her sleeve and proceeded to take hold of her arm, she tried to tug it back but a combination of the nurses firm grip and the pain her elbow was causing her stopped her from doing so. She could only watch as the nurse began using whatever sort of power she had in order to fix her fractured bone, flinching slightly as each individual jolt of discomfort shot up the length of her arm all the while. Her arm was certainly tingling, but not in a nice way, nor even in a uncomfortable way such as when ones leg fell asleep, this was different and certainly not something Mitsuko ever wanted to experience again in her life. When the procedure was finally over she pulled her arm back and began rubbing her elbow once more, it didn’t hurt anymore but she could almost swear she could still feel the former injury. Perhaps it was due to the shock of going through such a weird method of healing, or maybe it was because her body wasn’t use to injuries being fixed so quickly, but she could definitely still feel something. Mitusko glanced uncertainly back at the door again, wondering if she should just leave right now and put all this behind her, but the boy in the room might follow her and that would only lead to further annoyances. There was also one other reason why Mitsuko still stayed where she was standing, a question she had pondered previously which now she couldn’t help but ask. “Theyenkyu..” She said quietly, turning back towards the nurse, “eym.. Eyf yuuuu.. Aye meen, heeyu cyum theyis aaint.. Aye meen, ya pewuh.. Heeyu cyum eet aaint beyin eyusd een eethir hisspetals?” After asking this Mitsuko grinned nervously, she didn’t mean for that to come out so segmented and as scared as it had done, but it was a question that was pressing on Mitsuko’s mind. Besides it took her mind off of the boy River for a little bit. She could remember the last time she’d had to go to hospital and all that happened was that she’d had to wear a cast for several weeks, there were people she heard about whilst living in Osaka who died from really bad injuries and if they’d have seen this woman they probably would have lived. It all seemed a tiny bit unfair to her. The thought also made her a tiny bit uneasy about staying in this school, as having such a nurse within the school might mean that students here got in all sorts of awful injuries she couldn’t even imagine. |

She blinked rapidly as her brain worked to the fullest of it's ability to decipher the language the girl had just used. A sweat formed on her head and she gave a nervous smile as she tried to look as inconspicuous as possible. After a few moments of silence, her brain finished it's translating job, and she grasped the girl's shoulder before saying with a serious face, "Girl. Learn some new accent for once. That thick Osaka dialect is killing me," Blunt and straight to the point. She then released her and walked to one of the vacant bed, settling herself on it and swung one of her shapely leg on top of the other. "And, to answer that question of yours..." She lifted one of her hand up in front of her, which then glowed dimly a shade of blue. "...I suppose you haven't been to the hospital much, huh?" She gave a slight chuckle as she gave her temple a slight tap. "I assure you, there's a lot of hospital all around the world that have doctors and nurses with powers like I do. Of course... healers aren't exactly common when you look at it in general, so... I guess you might have a point," She shook her hand and the blue light dissipated into thin air, and continued, "But, since you actually bothered even ask that question, you haven't seen anyone else with powers before you came to Hyakuji, right?" Another chuckle, "Well, that's fine, really. Since most people here never realized that there are others with powers until they came here," Well, doesn't seem like there's anything else to talk about, so she gave a little fake cough, before she got up from the bed and, "Well then, since there's no reason for you to be here anymore unless you want to book me for another tea party this Sunday, best you get back to class~ Oh, by the way," The carefree nurse held out her hand for a handshake and said with a big grin on her face, "Emery Ichikawa, or, as those kids always call me, Miss Emery. Nice to meet ya!" |

So there were doctors like this nurse in other hospitals all over the world? Mitsuko had never seen one before so she had just never considered them actually existing, though she supposed there was a lot more to the world than she had previously known. Before Mitsuko had come to this school she had known of people who had special powers at least, she wasn’t that ignorant. There were a few news reports which she had seen whilst living in Osaka and so people with powers had become somewhat common knowledge, she’d just never assumed she’d too have a special power so she had never had any reason to put any further thought into the matter. Thinking about all of this caused Mitsuko’s head to hurt a little bit so she decided to forget about it for now and just focus on what was happening at the moment. The other thing the nurse had said seemed to annoy her a little. Get a better accent? How was she expected to get another accent? Of course the nurse was probably asking Mitsuko to learn all the stupid new words that would allow people outside of Osaka to understand her, but that along with remembering not to use certain Osakan words was far too much of a headache. It was getting to the point that all Mitsuko wanted to do right now was to go back to her dorm so she could be alone, she was already getting awfully late for class so she’d rather do that than turn up and be told off for tardiness. “Nyeesta myeecha Eyemri.” She replied quietly, not raising her hand to shake hers but instead glancing back at the door, “Aye’ll, aye’ll.. Aye’v guttuh gyeoh..” Mitsuko headed back towards the door nervously, not too sure if she should or not, besides the boy who had pushed her was still in the room and maybe he’d want to talk to her or something. She just wanted him to go away and leave her alone, then she could put everything that had just happened behind her. |

"Mm... not a social one, eh?" She muttered quietly as the girl exited through the door, giving a small smile and placing her ignored hand at her side. "Well, she'll change sooner or later. Like everyone else does," The carefree nurse shrugged before turning around for the computer on her desk. Wonder if she could get the day off tomorrow...? As Mitsuko exited the infirmary she would find Izumi sitting on one of the bench just outside, crossing his arms with a scowl on his face as he wondered, why the hell is he still sitting here when he had already done his part? He had apologized, brought her to the infirmary, so... there's nothing else he needs to do, right? Lucky for him the footsteps of the girl whom he had escorted earlier was heard from the door. Turning his head around his eyes immediately darted to her elbow. Well, there's no need for him to be concerned. Or worried. That doctor's ability is top notch. ...So... there's no reason for him to stay here anymore, right? Right. Without saying a word he stood up from his seat and promptly walked away from her without a single word. This was saying something as he would usually give one final burning sentence before deserting anyone, or at least give them an icy cold glare of extreme hatred. Depending on the person. |

Staying as quiet as possible Mitsuko watched as the boy stood up and turned to walk away, she was still a little bit upset from being knocked over and shocked at the medical procedure the nurse had used on her to fix her fractured elbow. Now once this boy had gone she could go back to her dorm and be alone for a little while till it was time to go to her evening class, her teacher would just have to accept the fact that she’d been in the infirmary and didn’t want to go to the class she was now already late for, if he didn’t then Mitsuko could always just get her mother to phone up and complain anyway, she was after all very good at doing those sorts of things. However try as Mitsuko might she still felt bad about the whole situation, she rubbed the back of her neck nervously as she tried to push the feeling out of her head. She really couldn’t be bothered with all of this but for some reason she just wanted to say one last thing before the boy completely disappeared down the corridor. “Theyink keyu..” She announced, quietly but still loud enough for her voice to echo down the corridor so that Izumi could hear her. Mitsuko still had her head bowed down so that she didn’t have to look at the boy, instead she turned around and began running in the opposite direction. It was pretty bad of her to do, just give up and run away from the awkward situation but that was just how Mitsuko dealt with these sorts of things. Hoping the boy wouldn’t try to talk to her again or follow her she ran around the next corner, back towards the Yuki dormitories and back to her own dorm room, back so she could be by herself and away from all of this. |
